In the first part of this series, we prove that the tensor product immersionf 1 f 2k of2k isometric spherical immersions of a Riemannian manifoldM in Euclidean space is of-type with k and classify tensor product immersionsf 1 f 2k which are ofk-type. In this article we investigate the tensor product immersionsf 1 f 2k which are of (k+1)-type. Several classification theorems are obtained.  相似文献

The existence is proved of a topologically transitive (t.t.) homeomorphism U of the space W = × Z of the formU (, z)=(T,, z+f ()) ( , z Z), where is a complete separable metric space, T is a t.t. homeomorphism of onto itself, Z is a separable banach space, andf is a continuous map: z. For the special case W = S1×R, T=+ ( is incommensurable with 2) the existence is proved of t.t. homeomorphisms (1) of two types: 1) with zero measure of the set of transitive points, 2) with zero measure of the set of intransitive points. This method has been especially developed for application to non-inverse-positive differential operators. Using a capacity approach, we prove in this article that it is always possible to define a realization of the Laplacian on L 2() with generalized Robin boundary conditions where is an arbitrary open subset of R n and is a Borel measure on the boundary of . This operator generates a sub-Markovian C 0-semigroup on L 2(). If d=d where is a strictly positive bounded Borel measurable function defined on the boundary and the (n–1)-dimensional Hausdorff measure on , we show that the semigroup generated by the Laplacian with Robin boundary conditions has always Gaussian estimates with modified exponents. We also obtain that the spectrum of the Laplacian with Robin boundary conditions in L p () is independent of p[1,). Our approach constitutes an alternative way to Daners who considers the (n–1)-dimensional Hausdorff measure on the boundary. In particular, it allows us to construct a conterexample disproving Daners' closability conjecture.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to studyR M; in particular, we are interested in some homological properties ofR M as that of being Cohen-Macaulay, Gorenstein or regular. Individual work by Professors G. Choquet and G. T. Sallee demonstrated that if were simple then there existed a convex chord-stretched version of . This result led Professor Yang Lu to conjecture that if were convex and were a chord-stretched version of then and would be congruent, i.e. any chord-stretching map of a convex arc is an isometry. Anh- and einiger Beispiele aus dem ökonomischen Bereich wird schließlich noch aufgezeigt, wo Approximationen fürE(b) von Interesse sein können.
