The excitation of transitions terminating at the 4f 12(3 H)5d6s 2(6,3/2) levels of the thulium atom are studied experimentally. Seventy-five cross sections of the TmI spectral lines are measured at an excitation electron energy of 50 eV. Five optical excitation functions are recorded in the electron energy range of 0–200 eV.  相似文献

Excitation of spectral lines of SrII, including laser lines, is studied experimentally in collisions of slow electrons with strontium atoms. Twenty-one excitation cross sections are measured at an energy of electrons of 30 eV. Five optical excitation functions are recorded at an energy ranging from 0 to 200 eV. Direct-excitation cross sections for the 5p 2 P°1/2, 3/2 levels and the contribution to their population by cascade transitions are calculated. Excitation cross sections of two laser transitions in the IR spectral region are determined using known branching ratios. The results obtained are compared with data of previous experiments.  相似文献

The excitation cross sections of transitions from the 3 P o and 3 D o levels of a nickel atom in electron-atom collisions at an exciting-electron energy of 50 eV have been analyzed by the method of extended crossing beams with detection of the optical signal from excited atoms. Eleven optical excitation functions have been recorded in the electron-energy range of 0?C200 eV. The direct excitation cross sections of the energy levels and the contribution of the cascade transitions were calculated using the data obtained.  相似文献

Inelastic collisions of slow electrons with cobalt dichloride molecules, leading to the formation of excited cobalt atoms in odd sextet states, are experimentally studied. At an incident electron energy of 100 eV, thirty six dissociative excitation cross sections are measured for levels belonging to the z6D°, z6F°, and z6G° terms. In the electron energy range of 0–100 eV, ten optical excitation functions are recorded. The full cross sections for the dissociative excitation of the cobalt atom levels and the contribution of cascade transitions to their population are determined. The cross sections for electron–molecule and electron–atom collisions are compared.  相似文献

We study the energy dependences of electron excitation cross sections of the autoionizing levels (5p 56s 2)2 P 3/2 and (5p 55d(3 P)6s)2 P 3/2, as well as the autoionization cross sections of cesium atoms in the impact energy range from the excitation threshold to 600 eV. It is established that an increase in the excitation cross section of the 2 P 3/2 levels (to 60% of the maximum value) and the deep minimum in the autoionization cross section observed in the energy region of 17–27 eV are caused by the predominance of the radiative decay channel for autoionizing levels with excitation thresholds above 17 eV. The high efficiency of the process is mainly related to the resonance excitation of these levels in the near-threshold energy region.  相似文献

The excitation of spectral lines of Se II in e-Se2 collisions has been studied for the first time. Forty-eight excitation cross sections of Se II spectral lines have been measured at an electron energy of 50 eV. In an experimental study of excitation of the holmium atom by electrons with an energy of 50 eV, the excitation cross sections are measured for 102 transitions from even levels of Ho I. Radiative transitions to the 4f 116s 2 4 I°13/2,11/2,9/2 levels of the ground state term are considered. Twenty-nine optical excitation functions are recorded in the exciting electron energy range of 0–250 eV. An classification of a number of Ho I lines located in the UV and visible spectral regions is proposed using the known energy levels.  相似文献

Inelastic collisions of slow electrons with SrBr2 molecules were studied experimentally. The dissociative excitation cross sections of two lines of the strontium atom and eight lines of the singly charged strontium ion were measured. Six optical excitation functions were recorded over the electron energy range 0–100 eV. The excitation of the 1s 2- and 1s 4-levels of neon and argon by He+-impact has been studied in the energy range of 100 keV to 1000 keV. The total emission cross sections for the 1s 2 levels show pronounced maxima at about 350 keV impact energy, whereas the cross sections for the 1s 4 levels increase with decreasing energy.  相似文献

The method of extended crossing beams was used to study inelastic collisions of slow electrons with LaBr3 molecules. Dissociative excitation caused the appearance of spectral lines of the singly charged lanthanum ion. 38 dissociative excitation cross sections of LaII spectral lines (upper singlet levels) were studied at a 100 eV exciting electron energy. Three optical excitation functions were recorded over the electron energy range 0–100 eV. Dissociative excitation of even quartet and sextet levels of the manganese atom by electron collisions with manganese diiodide molecules was studied experimentally. Twelve excitation cross-sections for transitions from quartet levels and 23 cross-sections for transitions from sextet levels were measured at an incident electron energy of 100 eV. The optical excitation function (OEF) was recorded in the range of electron energies 0?100 eV for transitions originating at the 3d54s4de6DJ levels. Excitation of the transitions terminating at the levels of the low-lying 3 F term in the Pt atom was experimentally studied. Thirty-six excitation cross sections of PtI spectral lines in the spectral range from 197 to 417 nm were measured at an exciting-electron energy of 30 eV. The method of extended crossing beams in conjunction with optical spectroscopy is used to study the dissociative excitation of even levels of YII in e-YBr3 collisions. At the exciting electron energy of 100 eV, 38 dissociative excitation cross sections are measured. Comparison of these cross sections with the cross sections for direct excitation in e-Y collisions shows that, for all the investigated even levels of YII, dissociative excitation is more efficient than direct one.  相似文献

The dissociative excitation of the 4 S°, 4 P°, 4 D°, and 4 F° levels of the manganese atom in collisions of slow electrons iwth manganese dichloride molecules is studied experimentally. It is found that the dissociative excitation cross sections for these levels are larger than the cross sections of direct excitation in the e-Mn collisions. The cross section ratios of the electron-atom and electron-molecule collisions, which characterize the effect of the chemical bond of the manganese atom with the halogen on the absolute excitation cross sections, are determined.  相似文献
