This work describes the use of a PEDOT:PSS-based conductive polymer for designing AChE-based biosensors. The transducers were obtained directly by screen-printing a PEDOT:PSS suspension on the surface of thick film carbon electrodes. The obtained working electrodes showed a high conductivity when compared with electrodes modified with conventional mediators like cobalt phthalocyanine or tetracyanoquinodimethane. The PEDOT:PSS polymer was shown to be suitable for thiocholine oxidation, allowing the measurement of AChE activity at 100 mV vs Ag/AgCl. The high conductivity of PEDOT:PSS allowed the accurate detection of the organophosphate insecticide chlorpyrifos-oxon at concentrations as low as 4 × 10−9 M, corresponding to an inhibition ratio of 5%.  相似文献

The present work describes the development of an amperometric sensor based on hemin immobilized on a titanium oxide modified silica toward detection of artemisinin (ARN) in neutral medium at an applied potential of −0.5 V vs. Ag/AgCl. The sensor presented its best performance in 0.1 mol L−1 phosphate buffer solution, at pH 7.0. After optimizing the operational conditions, the sensor provided a linear response range for ARN reduction from 50 nmol L−1 to 1000 nmol L−1 with a sensitivity, detection and quantification limits of 24.66 A L mol−1, 15 nmol L−1 and 52 nmol L−1, respectively. The proposed sensor showed a stable response for at least 80 successive determinations. The repeatability of the measurements with the sensor and the preparation of a series of electrodes, evaluated in terms of relative standard deviation, were 4.1% and 5.0%, respectively, for n = 10. The developed sensor was applied for the determination of ARN in the crude extracts of A. vulgaris L and the average recovery for these samples is 101.4 (± 3.1)%.  相似文献

A sensitive and selective method was developed for the determination of N-acetyl-p-aminophenol (APAP) and p-aminophenol (PAP) using poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT)-modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE). Cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry were used to investigate the electrochemical reaction of APAP and PAP at the modified electrode. Both APAP and PAP showed quasireversible redox reactions with formal potentials of 367 mV and 101 mV (vs. Ag/AgCl), respectively, in phosphate buffer solution of pH 7.0. The significant peak potential difference (266 mV) between APAP and PAP enabled the simultaneous determination both species based on differential pulse voltammetry. The voltammetric responses gave linear ranges of 1.0 × 10−6-1.0 × 10−4 mol L−1 and 4.0 × 10−6-3.2 × 10−4 mol L−1, with detection limits of 4.0 × 10−7 mol L−1 and 1.2 × 10−6 mol L−1 for APAP and PAP, respectively. The method was successfully applied for the determination of APAP and PAP in pharmaceutical formulations and biological samples.  相似文献

The performance of a new graphite-castor oil polyurethane composite electrode in the determination of hydroquinone in photographic developers in a differential pulse voltammetric (DPV) procedure is described. The 60% (graphite, w/w) composite electrode presented good stability, repeatability and accurate response. Limit of detection of 934 nmol L−1 was observed for hydroquinone within a linear dynamic range from 66 to 530 nmol L−1. The determination of hydroquinone in a photographic developer sample showed agreement with the label values in a 95% confidence level with maximum 2% relative error and recoveries between 100.1 and 100.4%. No need of sample preparation was required since the p-methylaminophenolsulfate (metol) present in the developer formulation did not interfered in the measurements.  相似文献

A novel biosensor for determination of d-amino acids (DAAs) in biological samples by using an electrode based on immobilization of a thermostable d-Proline dehydrogenase (d-Pro DH) within an agar gel membrane was developed. The electrode was simply prepared by spin-coating the agar solution with the d-Pro DH on a glassy carbon (GC) electrode. An electrocatalytic oxidation current of 2,6-dichloroindophenol (DCIP) was observed at −100 mV vs. Ag/AgCl with the addition of 5 and 20 mmol L−1d-proline. The current response and its relative standard deviation were 0.15 μA and 7.6% (n = 3), respectively, when it was measured in a pH 8.0 phosphate buffer solution containing 10 mmol L−1d-proline and 0.5 mmol L−1 DCIP at 50 °C. The current response of d-proline increased with increase of the temperature of the sample solution up to 70 °C. The electrocatalytic response at the d-Pro DH/agar immobilized electrode subsequently maintained for 80 days. Finally, the d-Pro DH/agar immobilized electrode was applied to determination of DAAs in a human urine sample. The determined value of DAAs in the human urine and its R.S.D. were 1.39 ± 0.12 mmol L−1 and 8.9% (n = 3), respectively.  相似文献

A new coated ion-selective electrode for the determination of trace vanadyl ions (VO2+) by flow injection potentiometry (FIP) with a home-made flow cell has been developed. The PVC-based membrane was coated on a graphite electrode with an effective area of 4.90 mm2. The optimum membrane contains 5 wt.% 1,8-diaminonaphtalene as ionophore, 35 wt.% plasticizer 2-nitrophenyl octyl ether, 55 wt.% PVC and 5 wt.% additive potassium tetrakis (p-chlorophenyl) borate. The electrode in flow injection potentiometry resulted in well defined peaks for vanadyl ions with a very high sampling rate (180 injections/h). Linear calibration was obtained from 1.14×10−7 to 1.14×10−1 M vanadyl ions, with a slope of 28.3±0.3 mV per decade change in vanadyl concentration, and very low detection limit of 1.14×10−7 M and the electrode can be used for at least 1 months without any considerable change in potential response. Selectivity coefficients for several ions were obtained by the matched potential method with respect VO2+ ions. The flow cell is simple to construct and free from memory effect problems over long periods of use. The sensor was used for the recovery of trace VO2+ ions from tap water and the determination of VO2+ in synthetic sample.  相似文献

An in situ plated lead film electrode has been applied for adsorptive stripping voltammetric determination of trace concentrations of molybdenum in the presence of Alizarin S. The procedure is based on the preconcentration of the molybdenum-Alizarin S complex at an in situ plated lead film electrode held at −0.6 V (versus Ag/AgCl), followed by a negatively sweeping square wave voltammetric scan. The peak current is proportional to the concentration of molybdenum over the range 2 × 10−9 to 5 × 10−8 mol L−1, with a 3σ detection limit of 9 × 10−10 mol L−1 with an accumulation time of 60 s. The measurements were carried out from underaerated solutions. The proposed procedure was validated in the course of Mo(VI) determination in water certified reference materials.  相似文献

The possibility of applying antimony-film modified glassy carbon electrode in sequential-injection analysis (SIA) was investigated with the objective of determining Pb(II) and Cd(II) by anodic stripping voltammetry (ASV). The conditions of antimony-film deposition concerning composition of the plating/carrier solutions, concentrations of Sb(III) and hydrochloric acid, effects of different supporting electrolyte salts, and plating potential were optimized. It was found that the antimony-film deposition on glassy carbon substrate in a sample solution consisting of 750 μg L−1 Sb(III), 0.5 mol L−1 HCl at −1.5 V (vs. Ag/AgCl/3 mol L−1 KCl) yielded a modified electrode suitable for the determination of Pb(II) and Cd(II) at the μg L−1 level. The reproducibility of the analytical signals was characterized by a relative standard deviation lower than 2.8%, and the calculated values of detection limits were 1.2 μg L−1 for Pb(II) and 1.4 μg L−1 for Cd(II). The presence of KSCN in the sample solution offers the possibility of detecting ions with more negative oxidation potentials like Zn(II), Mn(II) or Cr(III). The developed SIA-ASV procedure was compared with the commonly used batch method, and its applicability was tested on a spiked tap water sample.  相似文献

Amperometric detection of nicotine (NIC) was carried out on a titanium dioxide (TiO2)/poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT)-modified electrode by a molecular imprinting technique. In order to improve the conductivity of the substrate, PEDOT was coated onto the sintered electrode by in situ electrochemical polymerization of the monomer. The sensing potential of the NIC-imprinted TiO2 electrode (ITO/TiO2[NIC]/PEDOT) in a phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) solution (pH 7.4) containing 0.1 M KCl was determined to be 0.88 V (vs. Ag/AgCl/saturated KCl). The linear detection range for NIC oxidation on the so-called ITO/TiO2[NIC]/PEDOT electrode was 0-5 mM, with a sensitivity and limit of detection of 31.35 μA mM−1 cm−2 and 4.9 μM, respectively. When comparing with the performance of the non-imprinted one, the sensitivity ratio was about 1.24. The sensitivity enhancement was attributed to the increase in the electroactive area of the imprinted electrode. The at-rest stability of the ITO/TiO2[NIC]/PEDOT electrode was tested over a period of 3 days. The current response remained about 85% of its initial value at the end of 2 days. The ITO/TiO2[NIC]/PEDOT electrode showed reasonably good selectivity in distinguishing NIC from its major interferent, (−)-cotinine (COT). Moreover, scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) was employed to elucidate the surface morphology of the imprinted and non-imprinted electrodes using Fe(CN)63−/Fe(CN)64− as a redox probe on a platinum tip. The imprinted electrode was further characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR).  相似文献

In this article a new coated platinum Cu2+ ion selective electrode based on 2-((2-(2-(2-(2-hydroxy-5-methoxybenzylideneamino)phenyl)disufanyl)phenylimino) methyl)-4-methoxyphenol Schiff base (L1) as a new ionophore is described. This sensor has a wide linear range of concentration (1.2 × 10−7-1.0 × 10−1 mol L−1) and a low detection limit of 9.8 × 10−8 mol L−1of Cu(NO3)2. It has a Nernstian response with slope of 29.54 ± 1.62 mV decade−1 and it is applicable in the pH range of 4.0-6.0 without any divergence in potentioal. The coated electrode has a short response time of approximately 9 s and is stable at least for 3.5 months. The electrode shows a good selectivity for Cu2+ ion toward a wide variety of metal ions. The proposed sensor was successfully applied for the determination of Cu2+ ion in different real and environmental samples and as indicator electrode for potentiometric titration of Cu2+ ion with EDTA.  相似文献

The utility of carbon paste electrode modified with silver ethylmercurythiosalicylate (silver thimerosal) in both static mode and flow injection analysis (FIA) is demonstrated. The electrode was fully characterized in terms of composition, response time, thermal stability, usable pH and ionic strength ranges. It has been shown that diisononyl phthalate (DINP) acts as more suitable solvent mediator for preparation of the electrode, which exhibits linear response range to Ag(I) extending from 5.0 × 10−7 to 1.0 × 10−3 M with detection limit of 2.5 × 10−7 M and Nernstian slope of 59.3 ± 1.0 mV/decade. The proposed chemically modified carbon paste electrode shows a very good selectivity for Ag(I) over a wide variety of metal ions and successfully used for the determination of the silver content of silver sulphadiazine (burning cream) and developed radiological films. The electrode was also used as an indicator electrode in the potentiometric titration of thiopental and thimerosal with AgNO3.  相似文献

Pyrolytic graphite electrodes (PGE) were modified into dopamine solutions using phosphate buffer solutions, pH 10 and 6.5, as supporting electrolyte. The modification process involved a previous anodization of the working electrode at +1.5 V into 0.1 mol L−1 NaOH followed by other anodization step, in the same experimental conditions, into dopamine (DA) solutions. pH of the supporting electrolyte performed an important role in the production of a superficial melanin polymeric film, which permitted the simultaneous detection of ascorbic acid (AA), (DA) and uric acid (UA), ΔEAA-DA = 222 mV; ΔEAA-UA = 360 mV and ΔEDA-UA = 138 mV, avoiding the superficial poisoning effects. The calculated detection limits were: 1.4 × 10−6 mol L−1 for uric acid, 1.3 × 10−5 mol L−1 for ascorbic acid and 1.1 × 10−7 mol L−1 for dopamine, with sensitivities of (7.7 ± 0.5), (0.061 ± 0.001) and (9.5 ± 0.05) A mol−1 cm−2, respectively, with no mutual interference. Uric acid was determined in urine, blood and serum human samples after dilution in phosphate buffer and no additional sample pre-treatment was necessary. The concentration of uric acid in urine was higher than the values found in blood and serum and the recovery tests (92-102%) indicated that no matrix effects were observed.  相似文献

A new biosensor for detection of phenols, based on tyrosinase immobilization with alumina sol-gel on Sonogel-Carbon transducer, has been developed. The electrode was prepared using high energy ultrasounds directly applied to the precursors. The alumina sol-gel provided a microenvironment for retaining the native structure and activity of the entrapped enzyme and a very low mass transport barrier to the enzyme substrates. Phenols are oxidized by tyrosinase biosensor to form a detectable product, which was determined at −300 mV vs. Ag/AgCl reference electrode. For phenol, the sensor exhibited a fast response which resulted from the porous structure and high enzyme loading of the sol-gel matrix. The linear range was from 5 × 10−7 M to 3 × 10−5 M, with a detection limit of 3 × 10−7 M. The stability of the biosensor was also evaluated.  相似文献

A new PVC membrane electrode for manganese(II) ion based on a recently synthesized Schiff base of 5-[(4-nitrophenylazo)-N-hexylamine]salicylaldimine is reported. The electrode exhibits a Nernstian response for Mn2+ ions over a wide concentration range (4.0 × 10−7 to 1.8 × 10−2 mol L−1) with a slope of 30.1 (±1.0). The limit of detection is 1.0 × 10−7 mol L−1. The electrode has a fast response time (∼10 s), a satisfactory reproducibility and relatively long life time. The proposed sensor revealed good selectivities over a wide variety of other cations include hard and soft metals. This electrode could be used in a pH range of 4.5-7.5. It was used as an indicator electrode in potentiometric titration of manganese(II) ions with EDTA solution.  相似文献

Plasticized membranes using 2,3,4:12,13,14-dipyridine-1,3,5,8,11,13,15,18-octaazacycloicosa-2,12-diene (L1) and 2,3,4:12,13,14-dipyridine-1,5,8,11,15,18-hexamethylacrylate-1,3,5,8,11,13,15,18-octaazacycloicosa-2,12-diene (L2) have been prepared and explored as Ce(III) selective sensors. Effect of various plasticizers viz. dibutylphthalate (DBP), tri-n-butylphthalate (TBP), o-nitrophenyloctylether (o-NPOE), dioctylphthalate (DOP), benzylacetate (BA) and anion excluders, sodium tetraphenylborate (NaTPB) and potassium tetrakis p-(chlorophenyl) borate was studied in detail and improved performance was observed. Optimum performance was observed for the membrane sensor having a composition of L2:PVC:o-NPOE:KTpClPB in the ratio of 6:34:58:2 (w/w, mg). The performance of the membrane based on L2 was compared with polymeric membrane electrode (PME) as well as with coated graphite electrode (CGE). The electrodes exhibit Nernstian slope for Ce(III) ions with limits of detection of 8.3 × 10−8 mol L−1 for PME and 7.7 × 10−9 mol L−1 for CGE. The response time for PME and CGE was found to be 12 s and 10 s respectively. The potentiometric responses are independent of the pH of the test solution in the pH range 3.5-7.5 for PME and 2.5-8.5 for CGE. The CGE could be used for a period of 5 months. The practical utility of the CGE has been demonstrated by its usage as an indicator electrode in potentiometric titration of oxalate and fluoride ions with Ce(III) solution. The proposed electrode was also successfully applied to the determination of fluoride ions in mouthwash solution and oxalate ions in real samples.  相似文献

Poly(vinylchloride) (PVC) based membranes of macrocycles 2,3,4:9,10,11-dipyridine-1,3,5,8,10,12-hexaazacyclotetradeca-2,9-diene (L1) and 2,3,4:9,10,11-dipyridine-1,5,8,12-tetramethylacrylate-1,3,5,8,10,12-hexaazacyclotetradeca-2,9-diene (L2) with NaTPB and KTpClPB as anion excluders and dibutylphthalate (DBP), benzyl acetate (BA), dioctylphthalate (DOP), o-nitrophenyloctyl ether (o-NPOE) and tri-n-butylphosphate (TBP) as plasticizing solvent mediators were prepared and investigated as Co2+ selective electrodes. The best performance was observed with the membranes having the composition L2:PVC:TBP:NaTPB in the ratio of 6:39:53:2 (w/w; mg). The performance of the membrane based on L2 was compared with polymeric membrane electrode (PME) and coated graphite electrode (CGE). The PME exhibits detection limit of 4.7 × 10−8 M with a Nernstian slope of 29.7 mV decade−1 of activity between pH 2.5 and 8.5 whereas CGE exhibits the detection limit of 6.8 × 10−9 M with a Nernstian slope of 29.5 mV decade−1 of activity between pH 2.0 and 9.0. The response time for PME and CGE was found to be 11 and 8 s, respectively. The CGE has been found to work satisfactorily in partially non-aqueous media up to 35% (v/v) content of methanol, ethanol and 25% (v/v) content of acetonitrile and could be used for a period of 4 months. The CGE was successfully applied for the determination of Co2+ in real and pharmaceutical samples and as an indicator electrode in potentiometric titration of cobalt ion.  相似文献

A new petentiometric method to determine peroxide hydrogen and glucose had been studied. This method had been applied on the petentiometric determination of peroxide hydrogen and glucose in the total ionic strength adjustment buffer (TISAB) (pH 7.5) solution with the glassy electrode modified by the calix[4]arene. The glassy carbon electrode covered with the calix[4]arene depended on the H2O2 concentration in the range of log[H2O2] from −3.3 to −1.2 in the solution of TISAB (pH 7.5) with nearly Nernstian slope of about 65.6 ± 3 mV and the detection limit of peroxide hydrogen was 4.0 × 10−5 mol L−1. The glassy carbon electrode covered with the calix[4]arene depended on the glucose concentration in the range of log[glucose] from −3.6 to −2.8 in the solution of TISAB (pH 7.5) with nearly Nernstian slope of about 50.2 ± 2 mV and the detection limit of glucose was 2.0 × 10−5 mol L−1. The electrode had the good selectivity, sensitivity, stability and repeatability.  相似文献

A novel potentiometric zirconium - PVC matrix membrane sensor incorporating bis(diphenylphosphino) ferrocene as an electroactive material and tris(2-ethylhexyl)phosphate as solvent mediator is described. In mixed acetate buffer solution of pH 4.8, the sensor displays a rapid and linear response for zirconium ion over the concentration range 1.0 × 10−1 to 1.0 × 10−7 mol L−1 with a good slope of 59.7 ± 0.3 mV per decade and detection limit 1.8 × 10−8 mol L−1. The best performance was obtained with membrane composition 33% PVC, 65% TEHP, 1% NaTPB and 1% ionophore. The proposed electrode revealed excellent selectivity for zirconium ion over a wide variety of alkali, alkaline earth, transition and heavy metal ions and could be used in a pH range of 4.15-7.8. The electrode was applied for at least 1 month without any considerable divergence in the potential responses. The practical utility of the electrode has been demonstrated by its use as an indicator electrode in the potentiometric titration of zirconium ions with sodium fluoride and in determination of zirconium ion in some alloy, tape and waste water samples.  相似文献

Ion selective electrodes (ISE) are used extensively for the potentiometric determination of ion concentrations in electrolytes. However, the inherent drift in these measurements and the requirement of a stable reference electrode restrict the feasibility of this method for long-term in-situ applications. This work presents a chronopotentiometric approach to minimize drift and avoid the use of a conventional reference electrode for measuring chloride ion concentration. An anodic current pulse is applied to a Ag/AgCl working electrode which initiates a faradaic reaction that depletes the chloride ions near the electrode surface. The rate of change in potential at the Ag/AgCl electrode, due to chloride ion depletion, reaches an inflection point once the chloride ions deplete completely near the electrode surface. The moment of the inflection point, also known as the transition time, is a function of the chloride ion concentration and is described by the Sand equation. It is shown that the square root of the transition time is linearly proportional to the chloride ion concentration. Drift in the response over two weeks is negligible: 59 μM/day when measuring 1 mM of Cl ions using a 10 A m−2 current pulse. The transition time at a specific ion concentration can be tuned by the applied current pulse, e.g., in a solution containing 5 mM chloride ions, the transition times with current pulses of 10 and 20 A m−2 are 1.56 and 0.25 s, respectively. The moment of inflection determines the response, and thus is independent of the absolute potential of reference electrode. Therefore, any metal wire can act as a pseudo-reference electrode, enabling this approach for long-term and integrated-sensor applications such as measurement inside concrete structures.  相似文献

Direct electrochemistry of dsDNA has been achieved by using an ionic liquid 1-butyl-4-methylpyridinium hexafluorophosphate modified carbon nanotubes paste electrode (IL-CNTPE). Oxidation peaks appeared at 0.93 and 1.26 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) on the IL- CNTPE after preconcentration of dsDNA in pH 5.0 acetate buffer, which were attributed to the oxidation of guanine and adenine residues on the dsDNA molecule structure. Based on the signal of guanine, under the optimal conditions, very low levels of dsDNA can be detected after 60 s accumulation with detection limits of 0.249 mg L 16 pM. Additionally, human DNA from a healthy volunteer is determined by use of the IL-CNTPE and it is found to be 40 ± 2, 14 pM.  相似文献
