The c-axis single-phase YBa2Cu3O7- films ( = 0-0.15) on sapphire substrates prepared by the laser ablation technique and the band-pass stripline resonators for 34 GHz-range have been investigated. Increasing disorientation of mosaic block structure of YBa2Cu3O7- films is related to increasing surface resistance Rs at 135 GHz-range and decreasing unloaded quality factor Qo of linear stripline resonators. The linear dependence between the YBa2Cu3O7- film mosaicity (M) and half-width B1 of 00.13 reflecting component is determined. The reflection spreading is due to microstrains resulted mainly from the coherent adjustment of the YBa2Cu3O7- film lattice to GdBa2Cu3O7- sub-layer and sapphire substrate. Increasing number of the block characterized by a weak radial lattice adjustment () is demonstrated by spreading of 00.13 reflection. It is found out that depends on the Bragg angle of reflection due to inhomogenity of YBa2Cu3O7- mosaic structure, which resulted from the gradual mosaicity decreasing with the depth.  相似文献

We have found that gamma-irradiated polyformaldehyde does not exhibit the effect of the disappearance of the hyperfine structure of EPR spectrum as a function of the dose or the time passed since the end of irradiation, as was found earlier for a group of polymers having only C-C-C-C-atoms in the polymer chain. This difference in the change in the EPR of the polyformaldehyde (PFA) spectrum compared with the polymers with a -C-C-C-C- chain is explained by the impossibility of forming a conjugate double bond in the -C-O-C-O- chain in PFA.

The paper deals with the influence of light,=403 m, on the absorption of single-crystal plates of AgCl, grown by the capillary method. It was found that crystals with blue luminescence show no maximum in the region measured. For crystals with green luminescence a broad absorption maximum was found at – 590 m, which is partly bleached during further irradiation by light from the region of the absorption maximum. Measurements were preformed at room temperature.

The above problem is met, for example, in the case of the collision of molecules of the atmosphere with an artificial earth satellite and leads to the problem of determining the probability distribution of the absolute value of the vector sum of a constant vector and a Maxwell vector (the latter being a vector, whose rectangular components are distributed normally, with the same standard deviation and mean value zero). The resultant probability density is given by equation (18), the complement to the distribution function by (24), the mean value by (27) and the variance by (31). Three problems related to the spherical quantum billiard in are considered. In the first, a compact form of the hyperspherical equations leads to their complex contracted representation. Employing these contracted equations, a proof is given of Courant's nodal-symmetry intersection theorem for diagonal eigenstates of spherical-like quantum billiards in . The second topic addresses the first-excited-state theorem for the spherical quantum billiard in . Wavefunctions for this system are given by the product form, ( )Z q+()Y (n) , where is dimensionless displacement, is angular-momentum number, qis an integer function of dimension, Z() is either a spherical Bessel function (nodd) or a Bessel function of the first kind (neven) and represents (n– 1) independent angular components. Generalized spherical harmonics are written . It is found that the first excited state (i.e., the second eigenstate of the Laplacian) for the spherical quantum billiard in is n-fold degenerate and a first excited state for this quantum billiard exists which contains a nodal bisecting hypersurface of mirror symmetry. These findings establish the first-excited-state theorem for the spherical quantum billiard in . In a third study, an expression is derived for the dimension of the th irreducible representation (irrep) of the rotation group O(n) in by enumerating independent degenerate product eigenstates of the Laplacian.  相似文献

The first part of the paper gives a general equation for triple-crystal arrangement with perfect crystals on the assumption that the third crystal is rotated. It is shown that in the case of perfect crystals the shape of the reflection curve is practically independent of the vertical divergence. The case of mosaic crystals is also solved and the possibility of rotation by other than the third crystal is considered. A method is proposed for investigating the imperfection of a crystal which is different from methods used up to now. The paper is supplemented by some experimental results.

We consider the time-inversion operation for relativistic first-order equations that are constructed without the use of multiple representations of the proper Lorentz group. It is proved that the matrix T of the antilinear time-inversion operation is symmetric (antisymmetric) for particles with integral (half-integral) spin. It is shown that for particles with integral (half-integral) spin there exists (does not exist) a linear transformation as a result of which the time-inversion operation reduces to the complex conjugate:(x)= T *(x) where T is a phase factor. The physical nature of the stratification of the d-c discharge plasma is found and physically interpreted. The interpretation is based on the mathematical expression of the production of periodic structure in plasma after an aperiodic disturbance, derived from an extremely simplified system of equations. Only three basic phenomena occurring in the plasma of each d-c discharge are included: a) the dependence of the rate of ionization on the electron temperature and hence on the electric field, b) the production of space charges due to the different rates of diffusion of the electrons and ions, c) the creation of additional electric fields due to the creation of space charges. The interactions of these phenomena gives rise to a chain, expanded in time and space, which leads to the production of moving striations. In agreement with experiment this structure is developed only on the side towards the anode from the place where the equilibrium state is disturbed.

The two main arguments concern(1) the presence of an enlightened complementarity between philosophic (including scientific) and religious (not including mystic) thought, and(2) the necessity to postulate a threefold relationship whenever one is to gain knowledge of any kind. They are both inspired by physics (from Bohr's strict complementarity, resp. from Newton's fundamental postulate).God's perfection resides at least in Symmetry in a generalized (not restrictively spatial) sense. Yet, as the argument goes, Space does not exist as a thing. Consequently, the Great Geometer (God) cannot dwell within a World He creates, and it is wrong to speak about His (God's) existence; for, existence is bound to the temporal, and Time is, together with the World, part of God's creation. Thus the only possible creation consists in God separating World and Time from Himself: This is the paradigm of Symmetry-breaking.Polytheistic mythologies all assume such and such imperfection of their deities; hence perfection is meaningful for monotheism only. A relationship of a threefold (trinitary) nature must then obtain between God, World, and Time; this is analogous to Newton's postulate relating force, momentum and time. Just as the latter and its specific generalizations must be found true by verification, the said threefold relationship must also be found true: within philosophic thoughtmore geometrico (in a generalized sense), within religious thoughtmore hymnometrico. Yet the complementarity (called enlightened) arising between the two kinds of thought is of a higher nature than Bohr's strict complementarity.
