A subgroup H of a finite group G is said to be S-quasinormally embedded in G if for each prime p dividing the order of H, a Sylow p-subgroup of H is also a Sylow p-subgroup of some S-quasinormal subgroup of G. In this paper we investigate the structure of finite groups that have some S-quasinormally embedded subgroups of prime-power order, and new criteria for p-nilpotency are obtained.  相似文献

A condition for the solvability of finite groups   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0
A subgroup H is called ?-supplemented in a finite group G, if there exists a subgroup B of G such that G = HB and H 1 B is a proper subgroup of G for every maximal subgroup H 1 of H. We investigate the influence of ?-supplementation of Sylow subgroups and obtain a condition for solvability and p-supersolvability of finite groups.  相似文献

Suppose that G is a finite group and H is a subgroup of G. H is said to be an ss-quasinormal subgroup of G if there is a subgroup B of G such that \(G=HB\) and H permutes with every Sylow subgroup of B; H is said to be weakly s-permutably embedded in G if there are a subnormal subgroup T of G and an s-permutably embedded subgroup \(H_{se}\) of G contained in H such that \(G=HT\) and \(H\cap T\le H_{se}\). We fix in every non-cyclic Sylow subgroup P of G some subgroup D satisfying \(1<|D|<|P|\) and study the structure of G under the assumption that every subgroup H of P with \(|H|=|D|\) is either ss-quasinormal or weakly s-permutably embedded in G. Some recent results are generalized and unified.  相似文献

For a subgroup of a finite group we introduce a new property called weakly c-normal. Suppose that G is a finite group and H is a subgroup of G. H is said to be weakly c-normal in G if there exists a subnormal subgroup K of G such that \(G=HK\) and \(H\cap K\) is s-quasinormally embedded in G. We fix in every non-cyclic Sylow subgroup P of G some subgroup D satisfying \(1<|D|<|P|\) and study the structure of G under the assumption that every subgroup H of P with \(|H|=|D|\) is weakly c-normal in G. Some recent results are generalized and unified.  相似文献

Consider some finite group G and a finite subgroup H of G. Say that H is c-quasinormal in G if G has a quasinormal subgroup T such that HT = G and TH is quasinormal in G. Given a noncyclic Sylow subgroup P of G, we fix some subgroup D such that 1 < |D| < | P| and study the structure of G under the assumption that all subgroups H of P of the same order as D, having no supersolvable supplement in G, are c-quasinormal in G.  相似文献

A subgroup H of a group G is called µ-supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup K such that G = HK and H 1 K is a proper subgroup in G for every maximal subgroup H 1 in H. For the initial values of p, we establish the p-supersolubility of a finite group with a μ-supplemented Sylow p-subgroup.  相似文献

A subgroup H of a finite group G is called a c#-normal subgroup of G if there exists a normal subgroup K of G such that G = HK and HK is a CAP-subgroup of G: In this paper, we investigate the influence of fewer c#-normal subgroups of Sylow p-subgroups on the p-supersolvability, p-nilpotency, and supersolvability of finite groups. We obtain some new sufficient and necessary conditions for a group to be p-supersolvable, p-nilpotent, and supersolvable. Our results improve and extend many known results.  相似文献

If H is a subgroup of a finite group G then we denote the normal closure of H in G by H G . We call G a PE-group if every minimal subgroup X of G satisfies N G (X) ∩ X G = X. The authors classify the finite non-PE-groups whose maximal subgroups of even order are PE-groups.  相似文献

H is called an ? p -embedded subgroup of G, if there exists a p-nilpotent subgroup B of G such that H p ∈ Syl p (B) and B is ? p -supplemented in G. In this paper, by considering prime divisor 3, 5, or 7, we use ? p -embedded property of primary subgroups to investigate the solvability of finite groups. The main result is follows. Let E be a normal subgroup of G, and let P be a Sylow 5-subgroup of E. Suppose that 1 < d ? |P| and d divides |P|. If every subgroup H of P with |H| = d is ?5-embedded in G, then every composition factor of E satisfies one of the following conditions: (1) I/C is cyclic of order 5, (2) I/C is 5′-group, (3) I/C ? Let π be a set of primes. A subgroup H of a finite group G is said to be π-S-permutable in G if H permutes with every Sylow q-subgroup of G for all primes qπ. The main aim of this paper is to establish structural results about the normal closure of π-S-permutable subgroups and p-subgroups permuting with all p′-subgroups for a single prime p. Our results stem from a recent article by Isaacs [5] and subsequent discussions with the authors about it.  相似文献

A subgroup of index p k of a finite p-group G is called a k-maximal subgroup of G. Denote by d(G) the number of elements in a minimal generator-system of G and by δ k (G) the number of k-maximal subgroups which do not contain the Frattini subgroup of G. In this paper, the authors classify the finite p-groups with δd(G)(G) ≤ p2 and δd(G)?1(G) = 0, respectively.  相似文献

We study finite groups with the following property (*): All subgroups of odd index are pronormal. Suppose that G has a normal subgroup A with property (*), and the Sylow 2-subgroups of G/A are self-normalizing. We prove that G has property (*) if and only if so does NG(T)/T, where T is a Sylow 2-subgroup of A. This leads to a few results that can be used for the classification of finite simple groups with property (*).  相似文献

In this note, global information about a finite group is obtained by assuming that certain subgroups of some given order are S-semipermutable. Recall that a subgroup H of a finite group G is said to be S-semipermutable if H permutes with all Sylow subgroups of G of order coprime to \({\lvert H\rvert}\). We prove that for a fixed prime p, a given Sylow p-subgroup P of a finite group G, and a power d of p dividing \({\lvert G\rvert}\) such that \({1\le d < \lvert P\rvert}\), if \({H\,{\cap}\, O^p(G)}\) is S-semipermutable in \({O^p(G)}\) for all normal subgroups H of P with \({\lvert H\rvert=d}\), then either G is p-supersoluble or else \({\lvert P\,{\cap}\, {O^p(G)}\rvert > d}\). This extends the main result of Guo and Isaacs in (Arch. Math. 105:215–222 2015). We derive some theorems that extend some known results concerning S-semipermutable subgroups.  相似文献

A subgroup H of a group G is called s-semipermutable in G if H is permutable with every Sylow p-subgroup of G with (p, |H|) = 1. In this paper, we use s-semipermutable subgroups to determine the structure of finite groups. Some of the previous results are generalized.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group. A subgroup H of G is s-permutable in G if H permutes with every Sylow subgroup of G. A subgroup H of G is called an \(\mathcal {SSH}\)-subgroup in G if G has an s-permutable subgroup K such that \(H^{sG} = HK\) and \(H^g \cap N_K (H) \leqslant H\), for all \(g \in G\), where \(H^{sG}\) is the intersection of all s-permutable subgroups of G containing H. We study the structure of finite groups under the assumption that the maximal or the minimal subgroups of Sylow subgroups of some normal subgroups of G are \(\mathcal {SSH}\)-subgroups in G. Several recent results from the literature are improved and generalized.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group, let p be a prime, and let P be a Sylow p-subgroup of G. In this note we give a cohomological criterion for the p-solvability of G depending on the cohomology in degree 1 with coefficients in \(\mathbb F_p\) of both the normal subgroups of G and P. As a byproduct we bound the minimum possible number of factors of p-power order appearing in any normal series of G, in which each factor is either a p-group, a p’-group, or a non-p-solvable characteristically simple group, by the number of generators of P.  相似文献

Let \(\mathcal{F}\) be a class of groups and G a finite group. We call a set Σ of subgroups of G a G-covering subgroup system for  \(\mathcal{F}\) if \(G\in \mathcal{F}\) whenever \(\Sigma \subseteq \mathcal{F}\). Let p be any prime dividing |G| and P a Sylow p-subgroup of G. Then we write Σ p to denote the set of subgroups of G which contains at least one supplement to G of each maximal subgroup of P. We prove that the sets Σ p and Σ p ∪Σ q , where qp, are G-covering subgroup systems for many classes of finite groups.  相似文献

Assume G is a finite group and H a subgroup of G. If there exists a subgroup K of G such that G = HK and HK = 1, then K is said to be a complement to H in G. A finite p-group G is called an NC-group if all its proper normal subgroups not contained in Φ(G) have complements. In this paper, some properties of NC-groups are investigated and some classes of NC-groups are classified.  相似文献
