The reactions of [Tl(2)[S(2)C=C[C(O)Me](2)]](n) with [MCl(2)(NCPh)(2)] and CNR (1:1:2) give complexes [M[eta(2)-S(2)C=C[C(O)Me](2)](CNR)(2)] [R = (t)Bu, M = Pd (1a), Pt (1b); R = C(6)H(3)Me(2)-2,6 (Xy), M = Pd (2a), Pt (2b)]. Compound 1b reacts with AgClO(4) (1:1) to give [[Pt(CN(t)Bu)(2)](2)Ag(2)[mu(2),eta(2)-(S,S')-[S(2)C=C[C(O)Me](2)](2)]](ClO(4))(2) (3). The reactions of 1 or 2 with diethylamine give mixed isocyanide carbene complexes [M[eta(2)-S(2)C=C[C(O)Me](2)](CNR)[C(NEt(2))(NHR)]] [R = (t)Bu, M = Pd (4a), Pt (4b); R = Xy, M = Pd (5a), Pt (5b)] regardless of the molar ratio of the reagents. The same complexes react with an excess of ammonia to give [M[eta(2)-(S,S')-S(2)C=C[C(O)Me](2)](CN(t)Bu)[C(NH(2))(NH(t)Bu)]] [M = Pd (6a), Pt (6b)] or [M[eta(2)-(S,S')-S(2)C=C[C(O)Me](2)][C(NH(2))(NHXy)](2)] [M = Pd (7a), Pt (7b)] probably depending on steric factors. The crystal structures of 2b, 4a, and 4b have been determined. Compounds 4a and 4b are isostructural. They all display distorted square planar metal environments and chelating planar E,Z-2,2-diacetyl-1,1-ethylenedithiolato ligands that coordinate through the sulfur atoms.  相似文献

Synthesis, characterization, NLO properties, and theoretical studies of the mixed-ligand dithiolene complexes of the nickel triad [M(II)(Bz(2)pipdt)(mnt)] (Bz(2)pipdt = 1,4-dibenzyl-piperazine-3,2-dithione, mnt = maleonitriledithiolato, M(II) = Ni, 1, Pd, 2, Pt, 3) are reported. Molecular structural characterization of 1-3 points out that four sulfur atoms are in a slightly distorted square-planar geometry. While the M-S bond distances are only slightly different, comparison of the C-C and C-S bonds in the C(2)S(2)MS(2)C(2) core allows us to point out a significant difference between the C-C and the C-S distances in Bz(2)pipdt and mnt. These findings suggest assigning a dithiolato character to mnt (pull ligand) and a dithione one (push ligand) to Bz(2)pipdt. Cyclic voltammetry of 1-3 exhibits two reversible reduction waves and a broad irreversible oxidation wave. These complexes are characterized in the visible region by a peak of moderately strong intensity, which undergoes negative solvatochromism. The molecular quadratic optical nonlinearities were determined by the EFISH technique, which provided the following values μβ(λ) (10(-48) esu) = -1436 (1), -1450 (2), and -1950 (3) converted in μβ(0) (10(-48) esu) = -463 (1), -684 (2), and -822 (3), showing that these complexes exhibit large negative second-order polarizabilities whose values depend on the metal, being highest for the Pt compound. DFT and TD-DFT calculations on 1-3 allow us to correlate geometries and electronic structures. Moreover, the first molecular hyperpolarizabilities have been calculated, and the results obtained support that the most appealing candidate as a second-order NLO chromophore is the platinum compound. This is due to (i) the most extensive mixture of the dithione/metal/dithiolato orbitals, (ii) the influence of the electric field of the solvent on the frontier orbitals that maximizes the difference in dipole moments between the excited and the ground state, and (iii) the largest oscillator strength in the platinum case vs nickel and palladium ones.  相似文献

The paper presents a detailed experimental and theoretical study of the four mixed nickel-bisdithiolene complexes [Ni(Pr(i)(2)pipdt)(dmit)] (1b, Pr(i)(2)pipdt = 1,4-diisopropyl-piperazine-3,2-dithione; dmit = 1,3-dithiolo-2-tione-4,5-dithiolato), [Ni(R(2)pipdt)(mnt)] (2b", R = 2-ethylhexyl; mnt = maleonitriledithiolato), [Ni(Pr(i)(2)timdt)(dmit)] (3b, Pr(i)(2)timdt = 1,3-diisopropyl-imidazoline-2,4,5-trithione), and [Ni(Pr(i)(2)timdt)(mnt)] (4b), and their models. All the complexes, with common (C(2)S(2))Ni(C(2)S(2)) core and two different terminal groups, are uncharged and square-planar coordinated. Previous measurements of the first molecular hyperpolarizability indicated that some of the species are potential NLO chromophores due to the pi-delocalized character of two frontier levels (HOMO and LUMO) which is asymmetrically perturbed by the combination of one push (R(2)pipdt, R(2)timdt) with one pull ligand (dmit and mnt). The X-ray structure of complex 1b is presented and its geometry is compared with those available in the literature for the four types of complexes under study. The results of electrochemical and spectroscopic measurements (oxidation and reduction potentials, IR, dipole moment, molecular absorptivities, etc.) indicate rather different responses between the pairs of complexes 1-2 and 3-4. Hence, DFT calculations on the model compounds 1a-4a, where hydrogen atoms replace the alkyl groups of R(2)pipdt and R(2)timdt, have been carried out to correlate geometries and electronic structures. Moreover, the first molecular hyperpolarizabilities have been calculated and their components have been analyzed with the simplest two-level approximation. The derived picture highlights the different roles of the two push and pull ligands, but also the peculiar perturbation of the pi-electron density induced by the terminal CS(3) grouping of the ligand dmit.  相似文献

Palladium and platinum complexes with HmtpO (where HmtpO=4,7-dihydro-5-methyl-7-oxo[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine, an analogue of the natural occurring nucleobase hypoxanthine) of the types [M(dmba)(PPh3)(HmtpO)]ClO4[dmba=N,C-chelating 2-(dimethylaminomethyl)phenyl; M=Pd or Pt], [Pd(N-N)(C6F5)(HmtpO)]ClO4[N-N=2,2'-bipyridine (bpy), 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (Me2bpy), or N, N, N', N'-tetramethylethylenediamine (tmeda)] and cis-[M(C6F5)2(HmtpO)2] (M=Pd or Pt) (head-to-head atropisomer in the solid state) have been obtained. Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes with the anion of HmtpO of the types [Pd(tmeda)(C6F5)(mtpO)], [Pd(dmba)(micro-mtpO)] 2, and [NBu4]2[M(C6F5)2(micro-mtpO)]2(M=Pd or Pt) have been prepared starting from the corresponding hydroxometal complexes. Complexes containing simultaneously both the neutral HmtpO ligand and the anionic mtpO of the type [NBu4][M(C6F5)2(HmtpO)(mtpO)] (M=Pd or Pt) have been also obtained. In these mtpO-HmtpO metal complexes, for the first time, prototropic exchange is observed between the two heterocyclic ligands. The crystal structures of [Pd(dmba)(PPh 3)(HmtpO)]+, cis-[Pt(C6F5)2(HmtpO)2].acetone, [Pd(C6F5)(tmeda)(mtpO)].2H2O, [Pd(dmba)(micro-mtpO)]2, [NBu4]2[Pd(C6F5)2(micro-mtpO)]2.CH2Cl2.toluene, [NBu4]2[Pt(C6F5)2(micro-mtpO)](2).0.5(toluene), and [NBu4][Pt(C6F5)2(mtpO)(HmtpO)] have been established by X-ray diffraction. Values of IC50 were calculated for the new platinum complexes cis-[Pt(C6F5)2(HmtpO)2] and [Pt(dmba)(PPh3)(HmtpO)]ClO4 against a panel of human tumor cell lines representative of ovarian (A2780 and A2780 cisR), lung (NCI-H460), and breast cancers (T47D). At 48 h incubation time, both complexes were about 8-fold more active than cisplatin in T47D and show very low resistance factors against an A2780 cell line, which has acquired resistance to cisplatin. The DNA adduct formation of cis-[Pt(C6F5)2(HmtpO)2] and [Pt(dmba)(PPh3)(HmtpO)]ClO4 was followed by circular dichroism and electrophoretic mobility. Atomic force microscopy images of the modifications caused by these platinum complexes on plasmid DNA pB R322 were also obtained.  相似文献

We report the synthesis and full characterization for a series of cyclometallated complexes of Pt(II) and Pd(II) incorporating the fluxional trithiacrown ligand 1,4,7-trithiacyclononane ([9]aneS3). Reaction of [M(C insertion mark N)(micro-Cl)]2 (M = Pt(II), Pd(II); C insertion mark N = 2-phenylpyridinate (ppy) or 7,8-benzoquinolinate (bzq)) with [9]aneS3 followed by metathesis with NH4PF6 yields [M(C insertion mark N)([9]aneS3)](PF6). The complexes [M(C insertion mark P)([9]aneS3)](PF6) (M = Pt(II), Pd(II); Cinsertion markP = [CH2C6H4P(o-tolyl)2-C,P]-) were synthesized from their respective [Pt(C insertion mark P)(micro-Cl)]2 or [Pd(C insertion mark P)(micro-O2CCH3)]2 (C insertion mark P) starting materials. All five new complexes have been fully characterized by multinuclear NMR, IR and UV-Vis spectroscopies in addition to elemental analysis, cyclic voltammetry, and single-crystal structural determinations. As expected, the coordinated [9]aneS3 ligand shows fluxional behavior in its NMR spectra, resulting in a single 13C NMR resonance despite the asymmetric coordination environment of the cyclometallating ligand. Electrochemical studies reveal irreversible one-electron metal-centered oxidations for all Pt(II) complexes, but unusual two-electron reversible oxidations for the Pd(II) complexes of ppy and bzq. The X-ray crystal structures of each complex indicate an axial M-S interaction formed by the endodentate conformation of the [9]aneS3 ligand. The structure of [Pd(bzq)([9]aneS3)](PF6) exhibits disorder in the [9]aneS3 conformation indicating a rare exodentate conformation as the major contributor in the solid-state structure. DFT calculations on [Pt([9]aneS3)(ppy)](PF6) and [Pd([9]aneS3)(ppy)](PF6) indicate the HOMO for both complexes is primarily dz2 in character with a significant contribution from the phenyl ring of the ppy ligand and p orbital of the axial sulfur donor. In contrast, the calculated LUMO is primarily ppy pi* in character for [Pt([9]aneS3)(ppy)](PF6), but dx2-y2 in character for [Pd([9]aneS3)(ppy)](PF6).  相似文献

The crystal structures and magnetic properties were investigated experimentally and theoretically for two S = ? spin chain complexes, which consist of [M(mnt)(2)](-) (M = Pt for 1 or Pd for 2) with 1-(4'-bromo-2'-flurobenzyl)-4-aminopyridinium (1-BrFBz-4-NH(2)Py(+)). The 1-BrFBz-4-NH(2)Py(+) cations exhibit different molecular conformations and arrangements in 1 and 2; the [M(mnt)(2)](-) anions form regular stacks in 1, whereas they form irregular stacks in 2. In addition, the intermolecular interactions between the [M(mnt)(2)](-) anions and cations are also different from each other in the crystals of 1 and 2. Complex 1 shows the magnetic characteristics of a low-dimensional antiferromagnetic coupling spin system with a spin-Peierls-type transition around 7 K, and complex 2 exhibits diamagnetism over the temperature range of 5-300 K. Theoretical analyses, based on the calculations for the charge density distributions of [Pt(mnt)(2)](-) and [Pd(mnt)(2)](-) anions and the magnetic exchange constants within the anion spin chains, addressed the diverse molecular alignments in the crystals of 1 and 2 and distinct magnetic behaviors between 1 and 2.  相似文献

The salts [M(CO)(4)][Sb(2)F(11)](2), M = Pd, Pt, are prepared by reductive carbonylation of Pd[Pd(SO(3)F)(6)], Pt(SO(3)F)(4) or PtF(6) in liquid SbF(5), or HF-SbF(5). The resulting moisture-sensitive, colorless solids are thermally stable up to 140 degrees C (M = Pd) or 200 degrees C (M = Pt). Their thermal decompositions are studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Single crystals of both salts are suitable for an X-ray diffraction study at 180 K. Both isostructural salts crystallize in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c (No. 14). The unit cell volume of [Pt(CO)(4)][Sb(2)F(11)](2) is smaller than that of [Pd(CO)(4)][Sb(2)F(11)](2) by about 0.4%. The cations [M(CO)(4)](2+), M = Pd, Pt, are square planar with only very slight angular and out-of-plane deviations from D(4)(h)() symmetry. The interatomic distances and bond angles for both cations are essentially identical. The [Sb(2)F(11)](-) anions in [M(CO)(4)][Sb(2)F(11)](2,) M = Pd, Pt, are not symmetry-related, and both pairs differ in their Sb-F-Sb bridge angles and their dihedral angles. There are in each salt four to five secondary interionic C- -F contacts per CO group. Of these, two contacts per CO group are significantly shorter than the sum of the van der Waals radii by 0.58 - 0.37 A. In addition, structural, and spectroscopic details of recently synthesized [Rh(CO)(4)][Al(2)Cl(7)] are reported. The cations [Rh(CO)(4)](+) and [M(CO)(4)](2+), M = Pd, Pt, are characterized by IR and Raman spectroscopy. Of the 16 vibrational modes (13 observable, 3 inactive) 10 (Pd, Pt) or 9 (Rh), respectively, are found experimentally. The vibrational assignments are supported by DFT calculations, which provide in addition to band positions also intensities of IR bands and Raman signals as well as internal force constants for the cations. (13)C NMR measurements complete the characterization of the square planar metal carbonyl cations. The extensive characterization of [M(CO)(4)][Sb(2)F(11)](2), M = Pd, Pt, reported here, allows a comparison to linear and octahedral [M(CO)(n)()][Sb(2)F(11)](2) salts [M = Hg (n = 2); Fe, Ru, Os (n = 6)] and their derivatives, which permit a deeper understanding of M-CO bonding in the solid state for superelectrophilic cations with [Sb(2)F(11)](-) or [SbF(6)](-) as anions.  相似文献

The three diamagnetic square planar complexes of nickel(II), palladium(II), and platinum(II) containing two S,S-coordinated 3,5-di-tert-butylbenzene-1,2-dithiolate ligands, (L(Bu))(2-), namely [M(II)(L(Bu))(2)](2-), have been synthesized. The corresponding paramagnetic monoanions [M(II)(L(Bu))(L(Bu)(*))](-) (S = (1)/(2)) and the neutral diamagnetic species [M(II)(L(Bu)(*))(2)] (M = Ni, Pd, Pt) have also been generated in solution or in the solid state as [N(n-Bu)(4)][M(II)(L(Bu))(L(Bu)(*))] salts. The corresponding complex [Cu(III)(L(Bu))(2)](-) has also been investigated. The complexes have been studied by UV-vis, IR, and EPR spectroscopy and by X-ray crystallography; their electro- and magnetochemistry is reported. The electron-transfer series [M(L(Bu))(2)](2-,-,0) is shown to be ligand based involving formally one (L(Bu)(*))(-) pi radical in the monoanion or two in the neutral species [M(II)(L(Bu)(*))(2)] (M = Ni, Pd, Pt). Geometry optimizations using all-electron density functional theory with scalar relativistic corrections at the second-order Douglas-Kroll-Hess (DKH2) and zeroth-order regular approximation (ZORA) levels result in excellent agreement with the experimentally determined structures and electronic spectra. For the three neutral species a detailed analysis of the orbital structures reveals that the species may best be described as containing two strongly antiferromagnetically interacting ligand radicals. Furthermore, multiconfigurational ab initio calculations using the spectroscopy oriented configuration interaction (SORCI) approach including the ZORA correction were carried out. The calculations predict the position of the intervalence charge-transfer band well. Chemical trends in the diradical characters deduced from the multiconfigurational singlet ground-state wave function along a series of metals and ligands were discussed.  相似文献

The ion-pair complexes of [4-NH(2)-PyH][M(mnt)(2)] (M = Pt for 1 and Ni for 3) and their deuterated analogues [4-NH(2)-PyD][M(mnt)(2)] (M = Pt for 2 and Ni for 4) are isostructural with each other. Four complexes crystalline in monoclinic space group C2/c, whose asymmetric unit consists of two halves of [M(mnt)(2)](-) anions and one cation, show quite similar cell parameters and almost identical packing structures as well. In the crystals of 1-4, two types of crystallographically inequivalent [M(mnt)(2)](-) anions construct individual layers, which are separated by the cation layer; the supramolecular networks are formed via the H-bonding interactions between the [M(mnt)(2)](-) and 4-NH(2)-PyH(+) (or 4-NH(2)-PyD(+)) ions as well as the weakly ππ stacking interactions between the [M(mnt)(2)](-) anions. The four isostructural complexes exhibit canted antiferromagnetism, arising from the non-collinearity of the magnetic moments between the crystallographically inequivalent anion layers, with T(C) ≈ 14.8 K for 1, 13.6 K for 2, 7.7 K for 3 and 8.8 K for 4, respectively. Ac magnetic susceptibility measurements revealed that 1 and 2 show spin canting, while 3 and 4 show hidden-spin canting characteristics. The isostructural 1 and 3 were deuterated to give the divergent isotope effects on the cell volume and T(C).  相似文献

New square-planar rhodium complexes of the redox-active ligand 9,10-phenenthrenediimine (phdi) have been prepared and studied. The complexes [dpp-nacnac(CH3)]Rh(phdi) (2a; [dpp-nacnac(CH3)](-) = CH[C(Me)(N-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3))](2)(-)) and [dpp-nacnac(CF3)]Rh(phdi) (2b; [dpp-nacnac(CF3)](-) = CH[C(CF(3))(N-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3))](2)(-)) have been prepared from the corresponding [nacnac]Rh(CO)(2) synthons by treatment with Me(3)NO in the presence of the phdi ligand. Complexes 2a and 2b are diamagnetic, and their absorption spectra are dominated by intense charge-transfer transitions throughout the visible region. Electrochemical studies indicate that both the phdi ligand and the rhodium metal center are redox-active, with the [nacnac](-) ligands serving to modulate the one-electron-oxidation and -reduction redox potentials. In the case of 2a, chemical oxidation and reduction reactions provided access to the one-electron-oxidized cation, [2a](+), and one-electron-reduced anion, [2a](-), the latter of which has been characterized in the solid state by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Solution electron paramagnetic resonance spectra of [2a](+) and [2a](-) are consistent with S = (1)/(2) spin systems, but surprisingly the low-temperature spectrum of [2a](-) shows a high degree of rhombicity, suggestive of rhodium(II) character in the reduced anion.  相似文献

The reaction of the neutral binuclear complexes [(R(F))(2)Pt(μ-PPh(2))(2)M(phen)] (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, R(F) = C(6)F(5); M = Pt, 1; M = Pd, 2) with AgClO(4) or [Ag(OClO(3))(PPh(3))] affords the trinuclear complexes [AgPt(2)(μ-PPh(2))(2)(R(F))(2)(phen)(OClO(3))] (7a) or [AgPtM(μ-PPh(2))(2)(R(F))(2)(phen)(PPh(3))][ClO(4)] (M = Pt, 8; M = Pd, 9), which display an "open-book" type structure and two (7a) or one (8, 9) Pt-Ag bonds. The neutral diphosphine complexes [(R(F))(2)Pt(μ-PPh(2))(2)M(P-P)] (P-P = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)methane, dppm, M = Pt, 3; M = Pd, 4; P-P = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane, dppe, M = Pt, 5; M = Pd, 6) react with AgClO(4) or [Ag(OClO(3))(PPh(3))], and the nature of the resulting complexes is dependent on both M and the diphosphine. The dppm Pt-Pt complex 3 reacts with [Ag(OClO(3))(PPh(3))], affording a silver adduct 10 in which the Ag atom interacts with the Pt atoms, while the dppm Pt-Pd complex 4 reacts with [Ag(OClO(3))(PPh(3))], forming a 1:1 mixture of [AgPdPt(μ-PPh(2))(2)(R(F))(2)(OClO(3))(dppm)] (11), in which the silver atom is connected to the Pt-Pd moiety through Pd-(μ-PPh(2))-Ag and Ag-P(k(1)-dppm) interactions, and [AgPdPt(μ-PPh(2))(2)(R(F))(2)(OClO(3))(PPh(3))(2)][ClO(4)] (12). The reaction of complex 4 with AgClO(4) gives the trinuclear derivative 11 as the only product. Complex 11 shows a dynamic process in solution in which the silver atom interacts alternatively with both Pd-μPPh(2) bonds. When P-P is dppe, both complexes 5 and 6 react with AgClO(4) or [Ag(OClO(3))(PPh(3))], forming the saturated complexes [(PPh(2)C(6)F(5))(R(F))Pt(μ-PPh(2))(μ-OH)M(dppe)][ClO(4)] (M = Pt, 13; Pd, 14), which are the result of an oxidation followed by a PPh(2)/C(6)F(5) reductive coupling. Finally, the oxidation of trinuclear derivatives [(R(F))(2)Pt(II)(μ-PPh(2))(2)Pt(II)(μ-PPh(2))(2)Pt(II)L(2)] (L(2) = phen, 15; L = PPh(3), 16) by AgClO(4) results in the formation of the unsaturated 46 VEC complexes [(R(F))(2)Pt(III)(μ-PPh(2))(2)Pt(III)(μ-PPh(2))(2)Pt(II)L(2)][ClO(4)](2) (17 and 18, respectively) which display Pt(III)-Pt(III) bonds.  相似文献

Reactions of the linear triplatinum complex [Pt(3)(&mgr;-dpmp)(2)(XylNC)(2)](2+) (3) with small organic molecules led to formation of asymmetrical A-frame triplatinum complexes with an additional bridge across one of the metal-metal bonds, where dpmp is bis((diphenylphosphino)methyl)phenylphosphine. Reaction of complex 3 with electron deficient alkynes (R(1)C&tbd1;CR(2): R(1) = R(2) = CO(2)Me; R(1) = H, R(2) = CO(2)Me; R(1) = R(2) = CO(2)Et) afforded a new series of triplatinum clusters formulated as [Pt(3)(&mgr;-dpmp)(2)(&mgr;-R(1)CCR(2))(XylNC)(2)](PF(6))(2) (5a, R(1) = R(2) = CO(2)Me; 5b, R(1) = H, R(2) = CO(2)Me; 5c, R(1) = R(2) = CO(2)Et) in good yields. The complex cation of 5b was characterized by X-ray crystallography to have an asymmetrical A-frame structure comprising three Pt atoms bridged by two dpmp ligands, in which an acetylene molecule was inserted into one of the Pt-Pt bonds (triclinic, P&onemacr;, a = 19.507(3) ?, b = 20.327(4) ?, c = 14.499(4) ?, alpha = 107.69(2) degrees, beta = 102.08(2) degrees, gamma = 71.30(1) degrees, V = 5148 ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.070, and R(w) = 0.084). The Pt-Pt bond length is 2.718(1) ? and the Pt.Pt nonbonded distance is 3.582(1) ?. Treatment of 3 with an excess of HBF(4).Et(2)O gave the asymmetrical cluster [Pt(3)(&mgr;-dpmp)(2)(&mgr;-H)(XylNC)(2)](BF(4))(3).CH(2)Cl(2) (6.CH(2)Cl(2)), in 61% yield, and a similar reaction with p-NO(2)C(6)H(4)NC led to the formation of [Pt(3)(&mgr;-dpmp)(2)(&mgr;-R(3)NC)(XylNC)(2)](PF(6))(2).CH(2)Cl(2) (7.CH(2)Cl(2)) in 94% yield (R(3) = p-NO(2)C(6)H(4)). Complexes 6 and 7 are assumed to have a single atom-bridged, asymmetrical A-frame structures. Reaction of the complex syn-[Pt(2)(&mgr;-dpmp)(2)(XylNC)(2)](2+) (1) with [MCl(2)(cod)] (M = Pt, Pd) gave the dimer-monomer combined trinuclear cluster [Pt(2)MCl(2)(&mgr;-dpmp)(2)(XylNC)(2)](PF(6))(2) (8a, M = Pt, 89%; 8b, M = Pd, 55%). The structure of 8a was determined by X-ray crystallography to be comprised of a metal-metal-bonded diplatinum core and a monomeric platinum center bridged by two dpmp ligands with a face-to-face arrangement (triclinic, P&onemacr;, a = 18.082(7) ?, b = 19.765(6) ?, c = 15.662(4) ?, alpha = 98.51(2) degrees, beta = 94.24(3) degrees, gamma = 109.82(2) degrees, V = 5161 ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.069, and R(w) = 0.080). The Pt-Pt bond length is 2.681(2) ? and the Pt.Pt nonbonded distance is 3.219(2) ?. The heteronuclear complex 8b was transformed to an A-frame trinuclear cluster, [Pt(2)PdCl(&mgr;-Cl)(&mgr;-dpmp)(2)(XylNC)](PF(6))(2) (9), which was characterized by X-ray crystallography (monoclinic, C2/c, a = 33.750(9) ?, b = 28.289(9) ?, c = 23.845(8) ?, beta = 118.19(4) degrees, V = 20066 ?(3), Z = 8, R = 0.082, and R(w) = 0.077). The diplatinum unit (Pt-Pt = 2.606(2) ?) is connected to the mononuclear Pd center by a chloride bridge (Pt.Pd = 3.103(3) ?, Pt-Cl-Pd = 79.6(3) degrees ).  相似文献

The synthesis and structure, as well as the chemical and electrochemical characterisation of two new nu(3)-octahedral bimetallic clusters with the general [Ni(44-x)M(x)(CO)(48)](6-) (M = Pd, x = 8; M = Pt, x = 9) formula is reported. The [Ni(35)Pt(9)(CO)(48)](6-) cluster was obtained in reasonable yields (56 % based on Pt) by reaction of [Ni(6)(CO)(12)](2-) with 1.1 equivalents of Pt(II) complexes, in ethyl acetate or THF as the solvent. The [Ni(36)Pd(8)(CO)(48)](6-) cluster was obtained from the related reaction with Pd(II) salts in THF, and was isolated only in low yields (5-10 % based on Pd), mainly because of insufficient differential solubility of its salts. The unit cell of the [NBu(4)](6)[Ni(35)Pt(9)(CO)(48)] salt contains a substitutionally Ni-Pt disordered [Ni(24)(Ni(14-x)Pt(x))Pt(6)(CO)(48)](6-) (x = 3) hexaanion. A combination of crystal and molecular disorder is necessary to explain the disordering observed for the Ni/Pt sites. The unit cell of the corresponding [Ni(36)Pd(8)(CO)(48)](6-) salt contains two independent [Ni(30)(Ni(8-x)Pd(x))Pd(6)(CO)(48)](6-) (x = 2) hexaanions. The two display similar substitutional Ni-Pd disorder, which probably arises only from crystal disorder. The structure of [Ni(36)Pd(8)(CO)(48)](6-) establishes the first similarity between the chemistry of Ni-Pd and Ni-Pt carbonyl clusters. A comparison of the chemical and electrochemical properties of [Ni(35)Pt(9)(CO)(48)](6-) with those of the related [Ni(38)Pt(6)(CO)(48)](6-) cluster shows that surface colouring of the latter with Pt atoms decreases redox as well as protonation propensity of the cluster. In contrast, substitution of all internal Pt and two surface Ni with Pd atoms preserves the protonation behaviour and is only detrimental with respect to its redox aptitude. A qualitative rationalisation of the different surface-site selectivity of Pt and Pd, based on distinctive interplays of M--M and M--CO bond energies, is suggested.  相似文献

New precursors to potentially conductive noninteger oxidation state (NIOS) compounds based on metal complexes [ML(2)](n)()(-) [M = Ni, Pd, Pt; L = 5,6-dihydro-1,4-dithiin-2,3-dithiolato (dddt(2)(-)), 5,7-dihydro-1,4,6-trithiin-2,3-dithiolato (dtdt(2)(-)), and 2-thioxo-1,3-dithiole-4,5-dithiolato (dmit(2)(-)); n = 2, 1, 0] have been investigated. Complexes of the series (NR(4))[ML(2)] (R = Me, Et, Bu; L = dddt(2)(-), dtdt(2)(-)) have been isolated and characterized, and the crystal structure of (NBu(4))[Pt(dtdt)(2)] (1) has been determined {1 = C(24)H(44)NPtS(10), a = 12.064(2) ?, b = 17.201(3) ?, c = 16.878(2) ?, beta = 102.22(2) degrees, V = 3423(1) ?(3), monoclinic, P2(1)/n, Z = 4}. Oxidation of these complexes affords the corresponding neutral species [ML(2)](0). Another series of general formula (cation)(n)()[M(dmit)(2)] [cation = PPN(+), BTP(+), and (SMe(y)()Et(3)(-)(y)())(+) with y = 0, 1, 2, and 3, n = 2, 1, M = Ni, Pd] has also been studied. All of these (cation)(n)()[M(dmit)(2)] complexes have been isolated and characterized [with the exception of (cation)[Pd(dmit)(2)] for cation = (SMe(y)()Et(3)(-)(y)())(+)]. The crystal structures of (PPN)[Ni(dmit)(2)].(CH(3))(2)CO (2) and (SMeEt(2))[Ni(dmit)(2)] (3) have been determined {2 = C(45)H(36)NNiS(10)P(2)O, a = 12.310(2) ?, b = 13.328(3) ?, c = 15.850(3) ?, alpha = 108.19(3) degrees, beta = 96.64(2) degrees, gamma = 99.67(2) degrees, V = 2373(1) ?(3), triclinic, P&onemacr;, Z = 2; 3 = C(11)H(13)NiS(11), a = 7.171(9) ?, b = 17.802(3) ?, c = 16.251(3) ?, beta = 94.39(4) degrees, V = 2068(2) ?(3), monoclinic, P2(1)/n, Z = 4} NIOS salts derived from the preceding precursors were obtained by electrochemical oxidation. Electrochemical studies of the [M(dddt)(2)] complexes show that they may be used for the preparation of NIOS radical cation salts and [M(dddt)(2)][M'(dmit)(2)](x)() compounds, but not for the preparation of (cation)[M(dddt)(2)](z)() NIOS radical anion salts. The electrochemical oxidation of the [M(dtdt)(2)](-) complexes always yields the neutral [M(dtdt)(2)](0) species. The crystal structure of [Pt(dddt)(2)][Ni(dmit)(2)](2) (4) has been determined and is consistent with the low compaction powder conductivity (5 x 10(-)(5) S cm(-)(1) at room temperature) {4 = C(20)H(8)Ni(2)PtS(28), a = 20.336(4) ?, b = 7.189(2) ?, c = 14.181(2) ?, beta = 97.16(2) degrees, V = 2057(1) ?(3), monoclinic, C2/m, Z = 2}. The crystal structures of the semiconducting NIOS compounds (BTP)[Ni(dmit)(2)](3) (5) and (SMe(3))[Ni(dmit)(2)](2) (6) have been determined {5 = C(43)H(22)PNi(3)S(30), a = 11.927(2) ?, b = 24.919(2) ?, c = 11.829(3) ?, alpha = 93.11(1) degrees, beta = 110.22(1) degrees, gamma = 83.94(1) degrees, V = 3284(1) ?(3), triclinic, P&onemacr;, Z = 2; 6 = C(15)H(9)Ni(2)S(21), a = 7.882(1) ?, b = 11.603(2) ?, c = 17.731(2) ?, alpha = 77.44(1) degrees, beta = 94.39(1) degrees, gamma = 81.27(1) degrees, V = 1563(1) ?(3), triclinic, P&onemacr;, Z = 2}. The parent compound (SEt(3))[Ni(dmit)(2)](z) (unknown stoichiometry) is also a semiconductor with a single-crystal conductivity at room temperature of 10 S cm(-)(1). By contrast, the single-crystal conductivity at room temperature of (SMeEt(2))[Pd(dmit)(2)](2) (7) is rather high (100 S cm(-)(1)). 7 behaves as a pseudometal down to 150 K and undergoes an irreversible metal-insulator transition below this temperature. The crystal structure of 7 has been determined {7 = C(17)H(13)NPd(2)S(21), a = 7.804(4) ?, b = 36.171(18) ?, c = 6.284(2) ?, alpha = 91.68(4) degrees, beta = 112.08(4) degrees, gamma = 88.79(5) degrees, V = 1643(1) ?(3), triclinic, P&onemacr;, Z = 2}. The electronic structure of (SMeEt(2))[Pd(dmit)(2)](2) (7) and the possible origin of the metal-insulator transition at 150 K are discussed on the basis of tight-binding band structure calculations.  相似文献

Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes with the anions of the model nucleobases 1-methylthymine (1-MethyH), 1-methyluracil (1-MeuraH), and 1-methylcytosine (1-MecytH) of the types [Pd(dmba)(mu-L)]2 [dmba = N,C-chelating 2-((dimethylamino)methyl)phenyl; L = 1-Methy, 1-Meura or 1-Mecyt] and [M(dmba)(L)(L')] [L = 1-Methy or 1-Meura; L' = PPh(3) (M = Pd or Pt), DMSO (M = Pt)] have been obtained. Palladium complexes of the types [Pd(C6F5)(N-N)(L)] [L = 1-Methy or 1-Meura; N-N = N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine (tmeda), 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy), or 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (Me2bpy)] and [NBu4][Pd(C6F5)(1-Methy)2(H2O)] have also been prepared. The crystal structures of [Pd(dmba)(mu-1-Methy)]2, [Pd(dmba)(mu-1-Mecyt)]2.2CHCl3, [Pd(dmba)(1-Methy)(PPh3)].3CHCl3, [Pt(dmba)(1-Methy)(PPh3)], [Pd(tmeda)(C6F5)(1-Methy)], and [NBu4][Pd(C6F5)(1-Methy)2(H2O)].H2O have been established by X-ray diffraction. The DNA adduct formation of the new platinum complexes synthesized was followed by circular dichroism and electrophoretic mobility. Atomic force microscopy images of the modifications caused by the platinum complexes on plasmid DNA pBR322 were also obtained. Values of IC50 were also calculated for the new platinum complexes against the tumor cell line HL-60. All the new platinum complexes were more active than cisplatin (up to 20-fold in some cases).  相似文献

Substitution reactions of the complexes [Pd(bpma)(H2O)]2+ and [Pt(bpma)(H2O)]2+, where bpma = bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine, with TU, DMTU and TMTU for both complexes and Cl-, Br-, I- and SCN- for the platinum complex, were studied in aqueous 0.10 M NaClO4 at pH 2.5 using a variable-temperature stopped-flow spectrophotometer. The pKa value for the coordinated water molecule in [Pd(bpma)(H2O)]2+ (6.67) is a unit higher than that of [Pt(bpma)(H2O)]2+. The observed pseudo-first-order rate constants k(obs) (s(-1)) obeyed the equation k(obs) = k2[Nu] (Nu = nucleophile). The second-order rate constants indicate that the Pd(II) complex is a factor of 10(3) more reactive than Pt(II) complex. The nucleophile reactivity attributed to the steric hindrance in case of TMTU and the inductive effect for DMTU was found to be DMTU > TU > TMTU for [Pt(bpma)(H2O)]2+ and DMTU approximately TU > TMTU for [Pd(bpma)(H2O)]2+. The trend for ionic nucleophile was I- > SCN- > Br- > Cl-, an order linked to their polarizability and the softness or hardness of the metal. Activation parameters were determined for all reactions and the negative entropies of activation (Delta S++) support an associative ligand substitution mechanism. The X-ray crystal structure of [Pd(bpma)(py)](ClO4)2 was determined; it belongs to the triclinic space group P1 and has one formula unit in the unit cell. The unit cell dimensions are a = 8.522(2), b = 8.627(2), c = 16.730(4) A; alpha = 89.20(2), beta = 81.03(2), gamma = 60.61(2) degrees ; V = 1055.7(5) A3. The structure was solved using direct methods in WinGX's implementation of SHELXS-97 and refined to R = 0.054. The coordination geometry of [Pd(bpma)(py)]2+ is distorted square-planar. The Pd-N(central) bond distance, 1.996(3) A, is shorter than the other two Pd-N distances, 2.017(3) and 2.019(3) A. The Pd-N(pyridine) distance is 2.037(3) A.  相似文献

The nominally square-planar coordination of the d(8) complexes [MClL(1)L(2)(p-XC(6)H(4)NNNHC(6)H(4)X-p)](M = Rh, L(1)= L(2)= CO, X = H, Me, Et or F; M = Ir, L(1)= L(2)= CO, X = Me; M = Pd or Pt, L(1)= Cl, L(2)= PPh(3), X = Me; M = Pd, L(1)L(2)=eta(3)-C(3)H(5), X = Me), with the triazene N-bonded via the imine group, is supplemented by an axial M...H-N interaction involving the terminal amino group.  相似文献

The tripodal ligands NP(3)(tris[2-(diphenylphosphino)ethyl]amine) and PP(3)(tris[2-(diphenylphosphino)ethyl]phosphine), form five-coordinate [Pd(NP(3))X]X [X = Cl (1), Br (2)], [M(PP(3))X]X [M = Pd: X = Cl (4), Br (5), I (6); M = Pt, X = Cl (7), Br (8), I (9)] and four-coordinate[Pd(NP(3))I]I (3) complexes containing three fused rings around the metal. The interaction between Au(tdg)X (tdg = thiodiglycol; X = Cl, Br) or AuI and the respective ionic halo complexes 1-9 in a 1:1 stoichiometric ratio occurs via a ring-opening reaction with formation of the heterobimetallic systems PdAu(NP(3))X(3)[X = Cl (11), Br (12), I (13)], [MAu(PP(3))X(2)]X [M = Pd: X = Cl (14), Br (15), I (16); M = Pt: X = Cl (17), Br (18), I (19)]. The cations of complexes 17 and 18 were shown, by X-ray diffraction, to contain a distorted square-planar Pt(II) arrangement (Pt(P(2)P)X) where PP(3) is acting as tridentate chelating ligand and an almost linear PAuX moiety bearing the dangling phosphorus formed in the ring-opening process. PPh(3) coordinates to Au(I) and not to M(II) when added in excess to 14 and 17. Complexes 14-17 and [Pt(P(4))](BPh(4))(2) (10) (P4=linear tetraphosphine) also react with A(I), via chelate ring-openings to give MAu(2)(PP(3))X(4) [M = Pd: X = Cl (20), Br (21), I (22); M = Pt: X = Cl (23)] and [Pt(2)Au(2)(mu-Cl)(2)(mu-P(4))(2)](BPh(4))(4) (24), respectively.  相似文献

The reaction of fac(S)-[Co(aet)(3)](aet = aminoethanethiolate) with [PdCl(4)](2-) in a 2:1 ratio in water gave an S-bridged Co(III)Pd(II)Co(III) trinuclear complex composed of two mer(S)-[Co(aet)(3)] units, [Pd[Co(aet)(3)](2)](2+)([1](2+)). In [1](2+), each of the two mer(S)-[Co(aet)(3)] units is bound to a square-planar Pd(II) ion through two of three thiolato groups, leaving two non-bridging thiolato groups at the terminal. Of two geometrical forms, syn and anti, possible for [Pd[Co(aet)(3)](2)](2+), which arise from the difference in arrangement of two terminal non-bridging thiolato groups, [1](2+) afforded only the syn form. A similar reaction of fac(S)-[Co(aet)(3)] with [PtCl(4)](2-) or trans-[PtCl(2)(NH(3))(2)] produced an analogous Co(III)Pt(II)Co(III) trinuclear complex, [Pt[Co(aet)(3)](2)](2+)([2](2+)), but both the syn and anti forms were formed for [2](2+). Complexes [1](2+) and syn- and anti-[2](2+), which exclusively exist as a racemic(DeltaDelta/LambdaLambda) form, were successfully optically resolved with use of [Sb(2)(R,R-tartrato)(2)](2-) as the resolving agent. The reaction of syn-[2](2+) with [AuCl[S(CH(2)CH(2)OH)(2)]] led to the formation of an S-bridged Co(III)(4)Pt(II)(2)Au(I)(2) octanuclear metallacycle, [Au(2)[Pt[Co(aet)(3)](2)](2)](6+)([3](6+)), while the corresponding reaction of anti-[2](2+) afforded a different product ([[4](3+)](n)) that is assumed to have a polymeric structure in [[Au[Pt[Co(aet)(3)](2)]](3+)](n).  相似文献

Treatment of trans-[PtCl(4)(RCN)(2)](R = Me, Et) with the hydrazone oximes MeC(=NOH)C(R')=NNH(2)(R' = Me, Ph) at 45 degrees C in CH(2)Cl(2) led to the formation of trans-[PtCl(4)(NH=C(R)ON=C(Me)C(R')=NNH(2))(2)](R/R' = Me/Ph 1, Et/Me 2, Et/Ph 3) due to the regioselective OH-addition of the bifunctional MeC(=NOH)C(R')=NNH(2) to the nitrile group. The reaction of 3 and Ph(3)P=CHCO(2)Me allows the formation of the Pt(II) complex trans-[PtCl(2)(NH=C(Et)ON=C(Me)C(Ph)=NNH(2))2](4). In 4, the imine ligand was liberated by substitution with 2 equivalents of bis(1,2-diphenylphosphino)ethane (dppe) in CDCl(3) to give, along with the free ligand, the solid [Pt(dppe)(2)]Cl(2). The free iminoacyl hydrazone, having a restricted life-time, decomposes at 20-25 degrees C in about 20 h to the parent organonitrile and the hydrazone oxime. The Schiff condensation of the free NH(2) groups of 4 with aromatic aldehydes, i.e. 2-OH-5-NO(2)-benzaldehyde and 4-NO(2)-benzaldehyde, brings about the formation of the platinum(II) complexes trans-[PtCl(2)(NH=C(Et)ON=C(Me)C(Ph)=NN=CH(C(6)H(3)-2-OH-5-NO(2))2](5) and trans-[PtCl(2)(NH=C(Et)ON=C(Me)C(Ph)=NN=CH(C(6)H(4)-4-NO(2))2](6), respectively, containing functionalized remote peripherical groups. Metallization of 5, which can be considered as a novel type of metallaligand, was achieved by its reaction with M(OAc)(2).nH(2)O (M = Cu, n= 2; M = Co, n= 4) in a 1:1 molar ratio furnishing solid heteronuclear compounds with composition [Pt]:[M]= 1:1. The complexes were characterized by C, H, N elemental analyses, FAB+ mass-spectrometry, IR, 1H, 13C[1H] and (195)Pt NMR spectroscopies; X-ray structures were determined for 3, 4 and 5.  相似文献
