Spectroscopic studies using far infrared reflectivity and transmissivity measurements between 10 and 600 cm−1, were performed on plane parallel quartz crystal plates, in the temperature range 10–300 K. The temperature dependence of the optical mode parameters is reporeted for both polarizations parallel and perpendicular to the c-axis. The extraordinary optical constants of quartz are determined at 10 and 300 K, from the A2 transmissivity channeled spectrum, between 10 and 300 cm−1.  相似文献

We measured transmittance and reflectance spectra of SrTiO3 crystals in the infrared region, at 200 and 100 K. These data and our previous 300 and 20 K data are analyzed in order to derive frequency and temperature dependence of the refractive indices n and k. We thus provide detailed n(v) and k(v) data at 300, 200, 100, and 20 K, in the frequency range 25–16000 cm−1.  相似文献

This is a study of IR reflection spectra of systems of a thin Bi4X3O12(X=Si, Ge) film and a substrate of fused quartz v-SiO2 in the range 400–1600 cm−1 at T=295 K. Bands assigned to Bi4X3O12 are interpreted. It is found that single-photon processes are exhibited in the range 400–800 cm−1, while biphonon processes, in the range 800–1600 cm−1. I. The temperature dependence of the electrical conductivity, thermoelectric power and dielectric constant of the antiferromagnetic CuWO4 have been studied in the temperature range 300–1000 K. The conductivity results can be summarised by the equations σI=6.31 × 10−3 exp (−0.29 eV/kT) ohm−1 cm−1 in the temperature range 300–600 K and σII=3.16 × 105 exp (−1.48 eV/kT) ohm−1 cm−1 between 600 K and 1000 K. The thermoelectric power can be expressed byθ=[− 1.25 (103/T) + 3.9] mV/K. Initially dielectric constant increases slowly but for high temperatures its increase is fast.  相似文献

The spectra of epitaxial Pb1 − x Eu x Te (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.37) solid solution layers grown on BaF2 and Si substrates have been investigated over a wide frequency range 7–4000 cm−1 at temperatures of 5–300 K. Apart from the phonon and impurity absorption lines, the absorption in a local mode in PbEuTe layers of substrates and buffer layers has been observed in the frequency range 110–114 cm−1. As the temperature decreases from 300 to 5 K, the transverse phonon mode softens from 33.0 to 19.5 cm−1.  相似文献

The interference of optical transmission spectra of thin CuGaS2 single crystals is measured in E||c and E⊥c polarizations. The spectral dependencies of the refractive indexes no, ne and Δn = no − ne near the absorption edge have been determined from interference spectra. The intersection of refractive indexes at two wavelengths has been revealed at 300 K and 10 K. The characteristics of Band-Pass-Mode Filter and Band-Elimination-Mode Filter have been measured, which possess 7 narrow absorption (transmission) bands and represent a comb filter. Absolute spectral luminosity from an O2–O2(a)-H2O gas flow formed by a chemical singlet oxygen generator was measured at 600–800 and 1230–1310 nm wavelengths. The results were used to determine the rate constants for O2(a, 0) + O2(a, 0) → O2(X, 0) + O2(X, 0) + hν (λ = 634 nm) and O2(a, 0) + O2(a, 0) → O2(X, 1) + O2(X, 0) + hν (λ = 703 nm) collision-induced emission ((6.72 ± 0.8) × 10−23 and (7.17 ± 0.8) × 10−23 cm3/s, respectively).  相似文献

Results of the first μSR studies using Merck FO Optipur silica powder, which contains paramagnetic impurities at the ppb level and has a surface area of 610±20 m2/g. are reported. Above 20 K, the transverse field muonium relaxation rate is roughly constant at 0.5 μs−1. Upon the addition of oxygen at ppm levels, the relaxation rate increases linearly with O2 concentration in the temperature range from 40–100 K yielding two-dimensional depolarization rate constants on the order of 10−4 cm2 molecule−1 s−1. As the temperature is increased further, both oxygen and muonium desorb from the surface yielding a three-dimensional rate constants at 300 K of 3.1(3)×10–10−10 cm3 molecule−1 s−1, in agreement with the gas phase value. Longitudinal field measurements suggest that MuO2 is formed and is able to spin exchange with other oxygen molecules.  相似文献

The functions of the main indices of refraction n(ν) and absorption κ(ν) of uniaxial thin polyethylene terephthalate films have been calculated by the experimental spectra of frustrated total reflection of s-and p-polarized radiation in the 700–760-cm−1 range. Summary Reflectivity measurements have been done on dopedn-type HgCr2Se4 (n≈(1015÷1019) cm−3), at various temperatures ((4÷300) K) in the infra-red range . The spectra show the structure of a plasma edge and reststrahlbands. Data have been analysed by a Kramers-Kronig procedure. The deduced dynamical conductivity shows an anomaly near the plasma frequency ωp. The transmitivity measurements show a strong temperature dependence of the conduction band.
