Sandwich hologram interferometry and sandwich speckle photography tend to complement each other as displacement measuring methods; a sandwich hologram is best suited for out-of-plane movements, while speckle photography is used to determine in-plane components. The two techniques can be combined and both holographic and speckle photographic data can be stored on the same sandwich pair. Fringes caused by in-plane rigid body motion can be compensated for and local displacement evaluated.  相似文献

In the present paper, the method of time-average hologram interferometry has been applied to study periodic, non-cosinusoidal vibrations represented by a Jacobian elliptic function. For such vibrations the characteristic fringe function has been evaluated by making use of an equation derived from considerations of the effect of motion on coherence. Techniques of holographic addition and subtraction and extended pulse stroboscopic holography have been applied to analyze these vibrations in detail. Graphical representation of the fringe irradiance distributions in the reconstructed image is given in all the cases.  相似文献

In this paper, vibration measurement and analysis of microsystems, such as micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) by using stroboscopic digital speckle pattern interferometry (DSPI) is presented. Because of the speckle interferometry, the technique is suited for samples which have a rough surface or whose surfaces can be sprayed into a scattering surface. A laser speckle microinterferometer incorporated with optoelectronic devices for a stroboscopic illumination and a synchronization of the signals between excitation and stroboscopic illumination is described and demonstrated. The system can measure both out-of-plane and in-plane displacement under either a static or dynamic loading. The fundamental is explained and some applications are demonstrated.  相似文献

Except for the extreme positions, a vibrating object passes twice through a position in each vibration cycle. It is suggested that this fact can be used to reduce the recording time during the pulsed illumination in stroboscopic holographic interferometry by providing two light pulses per vibration cycle for a given subject position.  相似文献

提出了一种用于振动研究的方法——频闪剪切散斑干涉照相法。该方法由于采用了剪切镜,能得到较为精确的散斑剪切图,提高了测量的精度,是一种用于振动研究较为理想的散斑照相的新方法。讨论了频闪剪切散斑干涉术的基本原理,给出了频闪剪切散斑图的全场分析的平均光强分析的解析式,并给出了实验结果。理论和实验都表明频闪剪切散斑干涉照相法要优于时间平均剪切散斑干涉照相法。该方法在全场滤波分析时,能给出任一瞬时物体振动信息,得到清晰的、高衬比的全场干涉条纹图,是一种实用可行的方法。  相似文献

A technique using acousto-optic modulated partially incoherent stroboscopic imaging for measurement of in-plane motion of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) is presented. Vibration measurement is allowed by using flashes of the partially incoherent light source to freeze the positions of the microstructure at 12 equally spaced phases of the vibration period. The first-order diffracted beam taken out by an acousto-optic modulator (AOM) from the light beam of a laser is made partially incoherent by a rotating diffuser and then serves as the stroboscopic light source. Both the MEMS excitation signal and the flash control signal are provided by a dual-channel function generator. The main advantage of this measurement method is the absence of a stroboscopic generator and a high speed digital camera. Microscale prototypes are fabricated and tested. Quantitative estimates of the harmonic responses of the prototypes are obtained from the recorded images. The results agree with those obtained with a commercial MEMS motion analyzerTM with relative errors less than 2%.  相似文献

In this paper, the free vibration of prefabricated architectural sandwich panels is studied. The core of the sandwich panel is approximated by finite prisms and the thin faces are modelled by finite strips. The finite prism-strip method is simple to program and saves considerable computing effort when compared with the finite element method. In this paper, only the dynamic characteristics of flat faced homogeneous sandwich panels are compared with results obtained by other methods, and also with the analytical solutions. Several examples are also presented for the free vibration of prefabricated architectural sandwich panels.  相似文献

In this paper, we evaluate photopolymer media using a polycarbonate (PC) substrate. In holographic data storage medium, substrates that sandwich the photopolymer material are needed to protect the photopolymer material against exogenous shock and open air. An optical glass such as BK-7 is normally used as a substrate, but a PC substrate has a cost advantage and is easy to fabricate compared with optical glass. For holographic recording and reading, however, the high birefringence and high thermal expansion of a PC substrate are significant problems. First, we analyze the degree of degradation of output power by the polarization change and estimate the threshold value of birefringence to record hologram normally. Next, we estimate the temperature tolerance of hologram readout with polycarbonate substrate hologram medium. These analyses results indicate the possible usage of the PC substrate as holographic recording media.  相似文献

A technique is developed for determining approximate periodic solutions to a class of non-linear differential equations which often arise in vibration theory. Although it is akin to the stroboscopic method of Minorsky, no topological arguments are utilized. A dynamic 3D nano-scale surface profilometer using stroboscopic white-light interferometry with novel signal deconvolution was developed to deliver dynamic surface profilometry with a measurement bandwidth of up to a MHz scale and a vertical resolution reaching 1 nm. Previous work using stroboscopic microscopic interferometry for dynamic characterization of micro-(opto)electromechanical systems (M(O)EMS) has been limited in measurement bandwidth of less than a few hundred kHz due to physical length limitation of stroboscopic light. For high-resonance mode analysis, the stroboscopic light pulse is too lengthy to capture the moving fringes from dynamic motion of the detected structure. In view of this need, a novel deconvolution algorithm using correction of the light response was developed for removing potential image blurs caused by the unavoidable vibration of the tested parts. With this advance in technology, the bandwidth of dynamic measurement can be significantly increased without sacrificing measurement accuracy. A microcantilever beam used in AFM was measured to verify the capability of the system in accurate characterization of dynamic behaviors of M(O)EMS.  相似文献

夹心式换能器应用极为广泛,但当其横向尺寸过大时,存在耦合振动,影响其辐射面的位移分布.本文通过在大尺寸夹心式换能器的前盖板中加工周期排列的槽,来形成一种二维声子晶体结构.随后,采用有限元法对基于二维声子晶体的大尺寸夹心式换能器的振动传输特性、共振频率以及发射电压响应进行仿真模拟,讨论了开槽高度和开槽宽度对其带隙、共振与反共振频率、带宽以及辐射面位移分布的影响.研究结果表明,通过在大尺寸夹心式换能器中应用声子晶体结构可对其进行优化设计.当大尺寸夹心式换能器的工作频率位于其带隙范围内时,二维声子晶体结构能有效地抑制其横向振动,从而改善换能器辐射面位移分布的均匀程度.此外,在大尺寸夹心式换能器的前盖板中加工二维声子晶体结构,能有效提升换能器的带宽,进而拓宽大尺寸夹心式换能器的工作频带.  相似文献

If a hologram of a vibrating object is recorded on a photographic plate which vibrates synchronously with the object, the reconstructed image produces equi-amplitude fringes of the object vibration, the amplitude of which is reduced by a constant determined from the amplitude of the plate vibration. This phenomenon can be used as a method to extend the measurable range of vibration amplitudes, and some experimental results are shown.  相似文献

采用单幅数字散斑图投影及高速数字图像采集技术,研究了动态离面位移的测量。采用商用液晶投影仪将计算机产生的模拟散斑图投影到待测动态变形物体表面,由高速数字图像采集设备摄取并保存变形散斑图,采用时间序列数字图像相关软件计算出物体表面各点随时间变化的离面位移。这种方法用于振动分析时不仅可以获得振型分布,而且还可以获得各点的振幅值。与现有的激光频闪照相测振及激光多普勒测振等方法相比,具有光学系统简单,可全场定量测量。悬臂梁振动实验结果证实了该方法的有效性。  相似文献

Digital shearography, also called digital speckle pattern shearing interferometry, is described as a robust measuring method due to its simple optical setup and the relative insensitivity against ambient noise. It has been applied for nondestructive testing and strain measuring. This paper explores its possibilities for vibration analysis. The measuring device performing both continuous (time-average method) and stroboscopic illuminations is described. The selection of the illumination mode is made by adjusting a controller and performed simply by a computer. The real-time observation with refreshing reference frame technique and the quantitative evaluation with the phase shift technique are presented. The results show this measuring device is well suited for both qualitative and quantitative vibration analysis.  相似文献

The dynamic analysis of a three-layered symmetric sandwich beam with magnetorheological elastomer (MRE) embedded viscoelastic core and conductive skins subjected to a periodic axial load have been carried out under various boundary conditions. As the skins of the sandwich beam are conductive, magnetic loads are applied to the skins during vibration. Due to the field-dependent shear modulus of MRE material, the stiffness of the MRE embedded sandwich beam can be changed by the application of magnetic fields. Using extended Hamilton’s principle along with generalized Galarkin’s method the governing equation of motion has been derived. The free vibration analysis of the system has been carried out and the results are compared with the published experimental and analytical results which are found to be in good agreement. The parametric instability regions of the sandwich beam have been determined for various boundary conditions. Here, recently developed magnetorheological elastomer based on natural rubber containing iron particles and carbon blacks have been used. The effects of magnetic field, length of MRE patch, core thickness, percentage of iron particles and carbon blacks on the regions of parametric instability for first three modes of vibration have been studied. These results have been compared with the parametric instability regions of the sandwich beam with fully viscoelastic core to show the passive and active vibration reduction of these structures using MRE and magnetic field. Also, the results are compared with those obtained using higher order theory.  相似文献

In this study, magneto-rheological elastomers (MREs) are adopted to construct a smart sandwich beam for micro-vibration control of equipment. The micro-vibration response of a smart sandwich beam with MRE core which supports mass-concentrated equipment under stochastic support-motion excitations is investigated to evaluate the vibration suppression capability. The dynamic behavior of MREs as a smart viscoelastic material is characterized by a complex modulus dependent on vibration frequency and controllable by external magnetic fields. A frequency-domain solution method for the stochastic micro-vibration response of the smart sandwich beam supporting mass-concentrated equipment is developed based on the Galerkin method and random vibration theory. First, the displacements of the beam are expanded as series of spatial harmonic functions and the Galerkin method is applied to convert the partial differential equations of motion into ordinary differential equations. With these equations, the frequency-response function matrix of the beam–mass system and the expression of the velocity response spectrum are then obtained, with which the root-mean-square (rms) velocity response in terms of the one-third octave frequency band can be calculated. Finally, the optimization problem of the complex modulus of the MRE core is defined by minimizing the velocity response spectrum and the rms velocity response of the sandwich beam, through altering the applied magnetic fields. Numerical results are given to illustrate the influence of MRE parameters on the rms velocity response and the response reduction capacity of the smart sandwich beam. The proposed method is also applicable to response analysis of a sandwich beam with arbitrary core characterized by a complex shear modulus and subject to arbitrary stochastic excitations described by a power spectral density function, and is valid for a wide frequency range.  相似文献
