In this paper, we study the null controllability of a class of Newtonian filtration equations. Using the properties of finite extinction time and finite speed of propagation, we construct a control function in feedback form, such that system is exactly null controllable at any time T>0. If we put a nonnegative constraint on the control function, this system is not exactly null controllable any more, but approximately null controllable for a long time.  相似文献

The article concerns output controllability and optimal output control of positive fractional order discrete linear systems with multiple delays in state, input and output. Necessary and sufficient conditions for output reachability (output controllability from zero initial conditions) and null output controllability (output controllability to zero final output) are given and proven. We also prove that the positive system is output controllable if it is output reachable and null output controllable with the output reachability index is equal or less than the null output controllability index. Sufficient conditions for the solvability of the optimal output control problem are given. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper addresses a study of the controllability for a class of heat equations with memory in one spacial dimension. Unlike the classical heat equation, a heat equation with memory in general is not null controllable. There always exists a set of initial values such that the property of the null controllability fails. Also, one does not know whether there are nontrivial initial values, which can be driven to zero with a boundary control. In this paper, we give a characterization of the set of such nontrivial initial values. On the other hand, if a moving control is imposed on this system with memory, we prove the null controllability of it in a suitable state space for any initial value. We consider the null controllability problem for the semilinear heat equation with nonlinearities involving gradient terms in an unbounded domain of N with Dirichlet boundary conditions. The control is assumed to be distributed along a subdomain such that the uncontrolled region \ is bounded. Using Carleman inequalities, we prove first the null controllability of the linearized equation. Then, by a fixed-point method, we obtain the main result for the semilinear case. This result asserts that, when the nonlinearity is C1 and globally Lipschitz, the system is null controllable.  相似文献

In this paper, we obtain several abstract results concerning the exact controllability of semilinear evolution systems. First, we prove the null local exact controllability of semilinear first-order systems by means of the contraction mapping principle; in this case, we do not assume any compactness. Next, we derive the global and/or local exact controllability of semilinear second-order systems by means of the Schauder fixed-point theorem; in this case, we assume only the embedding of the related spaces having some compactness, which is reasonable for many concrete problems. Our main result shows that the observability of the dual of the linearized system implies the exact controllability of the original semilinear system. Finally, we apply our abstract results to the exact controllability of the semilinear wave equation.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the internal controllability of the pseudo-parabolic equation on the one-dimensional torus. Our control function is acting on a moving small interval with a constant velocity. This paper concerns the problem of feedback null controllability and blowup controllability with feedback controls for ordinary differential equations. First, we study the feedback null controllability on a time-varying ordinary differential system by unbounded feedback operators. Then, the global exact blowup controllability with feedback controls is derived on a time-invariant ordinary differential system. Finally, we obtain the approximate null controllability by bounded feedback operators, and get the approximate blowup controllability with feedback controls for ordinary differential equations.  相似文献

In this paper we analyze the approximate and null controllability of the classical heat equation with nonlinear boundary conditions of the form and distributed controls, with support in a small set. We show that, when the function f is globally Lipschitz-continuous, the system is approximately controllable. We also show that the system is locally null controllable and null controllable for large time when f is regular enough and f(0)=0. For the proofs of these assertions, we use controllability results for similar linear problems and appropriate fixed point arguments. In the case of the local and large time null controllability results, the arguments are rather technical, since they need (among other things) Hölder estimates for the control and the state.  相似文献

In this paper, we present results on constrained controllability for linear control systems. The controls are constrained to take values in a compact set containing the origin. We use the results on reachability properties discussed in Ref. 1.We prove that controllability of an arbitrary pointp inR n is equivalent to an inclusion property of the reachable sets at certain positive times. We also develop geometric properties ofG, the set of all nonnegative times at whichp is controllable, and ofC, the set of all controllable points. We characterize the setC for the given system and provide additional spectrum-dependent structure.We show that, for the given linear system, several notions of constrained controllability of the pointp are the same, and thus the setC is open. In this article, we study the controllability of continuous-time probabilistic logic control networks (CT-PLCNs) under sampled-data feedback controls (SDFCs). First, we demonstrate that the concept of finite-time controllability with probability one for discrete-time probabilistic logic control networks cannot be generalized to CT-PLCNs. Then, we propose the concepts of asymptotical feedback reachability and asymptotical feedback controllability for CT-PLCNs. Based on the invariant subsets, we prove that a target state is asymptotically feedback reachable if and only if the target state is a control equilibrium point and any initial state has an admissible path to the target state. Moreover, we introduce the concept of reachability matrix and propose an easily verifiable criterion for asymptotical feedback reachability expressed in terms of the reachability matrix. Based on these, we prove that a CT-PLCN is asymptotically feedback controllable if and only if every state is a control equilibrium point and there is an admissible path between any pair of initial and target states. The relation between controllability and stabilizability is also discussed. We prove that a CT-PLCN is asymptotically feedback controllable if and only if every state is asymptotically feedback stabilizable. For a controllable CT-PLCN, we propose an algorithm of designing a stabilizing SDFC for any given target state. Additionally, we discuss the asymptotical feedback controllability of CT-PLCNs under time-varying nonuniform SDFCs. Finally, an illustrative example is presented to explain the proposed methods and verify the controllability criteria.  相似文献

We consider a cascade system of two conservative equations and prove the controllability of the full system when each equation is controllable, provided that the unitary group corresponding to the free evolution is time-periodic. Applications to systems of Schrödinger (resp. wave) equations are given. With the aid of Kannai transform we infer that a one-dimensional system of heat equations is null controllable even if the supports of the control function and of the coupling term do not intersect.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish the null/approximate controllability for forward stochastic heat equations with control on the drift. The null controllability is obtained by a time iteration method and an observability estimate on partial sums of eigenfunctions for elliptic operators. As a consequence of the null controllability, we obtain the observability estimate for backward stochastic heat equations, which leads to a unique continuation property for backward stochastic heat equations, and hence the desired approximate controllability for forward stochastic heat equations. It deserves to point out that one needs to introduce a little stronger assumption on the controller for the approximate controllability of forward stochastic heat equations than that for the null controllability. This is a new phenomenon arising in the study of the controllability problem for stochastic heat equations.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the wave equation with both viscous Kelvin–Voigt and frictional damping as a model of viscoelasticity in which we incorporate an internal control with a moving support. We prove the null controllability when the control region, driven by the flow of an ODE, covers all the domain. The proof is based upon the interpretation of the system as, roughly, the coupling of a heat equation with an ordinary differential equation (ODE). The presence of the ODE for which there is no propagation along the space variable makes the controllability of the system impossible when the control is confined into a subset in space that does not move. The null controllability of the system with a moving control is established in using the observability of the adjoint system and some Carleman estimates for a coupled system of a parabolic equation and an ODE with the same singular weight, adapted to the geometry of the moving support of the control. This extends to the multi-dimensional case the results by P. Martin et al. in the one-dimensional case, employing 1-d Fourier analysis techniques.  相似文献

We study the boundary exact controllability for a system of two quasi-linear wave equations coupled in parallel with springs and viscous terms. We prove the locally exact controllability around superposition equilibria under some checkable geometrical conditions. We then establish the globally exact controllability in such a way that the state of the coupled quasi-linear system moves from a superposition equilibrium in one location to a superposition equilibrium in another location. Our results show that exact controllability is geometrical characters of a Riemannian metric, given by the coefficients and superposition equilibria of the system.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a linear KdV equation posed on a bounded interval. We study the behavior of the cost of null controllability when two boundary controls are employed. By means of suitable Carleman inequalities and a new exponential dissipation estimate, we prove that uniform null controllability with respect to the dispersion coefficient holds, contrary to the case when one control is used at the left end-point of the interval.  相似文献

This paper deals with the approximate controllability of a semilinear control system with delay, where the nonlinear term satisfies the linear growth condition. Sufficient conditions for the approximate controllability of a semilinear control system have been established by assuming that the corresponding linear control system with delay is approximately controllable. To prove our results, the Schauder fixed point theorem is applied and instead of a Co-semigroup associated with the mild solution of the system we use the so-called fundamental solution.  相似文献

We study the controllability properties of a nonlinear parabolic system that models the temperature evolution of a one-dimensional thermoelastic rod that may come into contact with a rigid obstacle. Basically the system dynamics is described by a one-dimensional nonlocal heat equation with a nonlinear and nonlocal boundary condition of Newmann type. We focus on the control problem and treat the case when the control is distributed over the whole space domain. In this case the system is proved to be exactly null controllable provided the parameters of the system are smooth. The proof is based on changing the control variable and using Aubins Compactness Lemma to obtain an invariant set for the linearized controllability map. Then, by proving that the found solution is sufficiently smooth, we get the null controllability for the original system.  相似文献

In this paper we consider compressible barotropic Navier–Stokes equations in one and two dimensions linearized around a constant steady state with Dirichlet boundary conditions. We explore the controllability of this linearized system using a control only for the velocity equation. We prove that the system with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions, is approximately controllable by a localized interior control when time is sufficiently large.  相似文献
