Among data acquisition techniques in digital photoelasticity, the integrated phase shifting technique (IPST) can real-time analyze the photoelastic parameters at a video rate of the high speed CCD camera. In this paper, fourteen algorithms are described by different configurations of the rotating an analyzer at a constant rate and an output quarter-wave plate at another constant rate. The theoretical comparisons of the algorithms are given by the simulated phase distributions of the isochromatic and isoclinic parameters of the disk under two cases that the load keeps unchangeable or linear increasing in exposure time of the camera. Then a guideline is given to alleviate the influence of the load changing with time on the IPST.  相似文献

A study is undertaken into the kinetics of phase transitions in solids under a load at a fixed temperature. The critical size of the micropores forming at a given load in the course of a phase transition in a material is found. The steady-state flux of pores in size space and the time required to reach this state, which depend at a given load on the surface energy of the solid and on an additional parameter characterizing the boundary kinetics of microdefects, are calculated. The parameters found in this work, which describe the onset of the latent stage in the fracture of a solid and the intensity of defect formation in the material in this stage, are new in the mechanics of fracture. This approach allows generalization to load-induced structural and martensitic transitions.  相似文献

A high-speed phase-shifted speckle interferometer has been developed recently for studying dynamic events. Speckle interferograms are continuously recorded by a CCD camera operating at 1 kHz with temporal phase shifting carried out by a Pockels cell running at the same frequency. Temporal phase unwrapping through sequences of more than 1000 frames allows the determination of time-varying absolute displacement maps. This paper presents the application of this speckle interferometry system to the detection and measurement of sub-surface delamination defects in carbon fibre specimens. The influence of re-referencing the temporal phase unwrapping algorithm after different time intervals is analysed to reduce the random phase errors produced by speckle decorrelation and vibration. The performance of several phase-shifting algorithms to minimize the influence of the vibration noise caused by the vacuum pump used to load the specimen is also investigated.  相似文献

简单地介绍了量子搜索算法中的相位匹配条件、 改进的成功率为100%的量子搜索算法和量子搜索算法中的主要误差等. We briefly introduced some of our recent work related to the phase matching condition in quantum searching algorithms and the improved Grover algorithm. When one replaces the two phase inversions in the Grover algorithm with arbitrary phase rotations, the modified algorithm usually fails in searching the marked state unless a phase matching condition is satisfied between the two phases. The Grover algorithm is not 100% in success rate, an improved Grover algorithm with zero failure rate is given by replacing the phase inversions with angles that depends on the size of the database. Other aspects of the Grover algorithm such as the SO(3) picture of quantum searching, the dominant gate imperfections in the Grover algorithm are also mentioned.  相似文献

The phase-shifting method is all along an important wavefront extraction technique in the interferometer. Moreover, to require almost real-time measurement an algorithm with a small number of grabbed buckets is very helpful to the phase-shifting interferometer. Therefore, those algorithms within five buckets are very practical and are given more attention. In the paper, popular phase shifting algorithms within five buckets are compared and new four and five buckets algorithms are developed to compensate for two dominate error sources which are linear phase shift deviation and detector nonlinearity. Numerical simulations and wavefront extraction experiment verify that the proposed compensation algorithms are insensitive to linear phase shift deviation and detector nonlinearity compared with classical four and five bucket algorithm.  相似文献

This paper applies the entropy-based fractal indexing scheme that enables the grid environment for fast indexing and querying. It addresses the issue of fault tolerance and load balancing-based fractal management to make computational grids more effective and reliable. A fractal dimension of a cloud of points gives an estimate of the intrinsic dimensionality of the data in that space. The main drawback of this technique is the long computing time. The main contribution of the suggested work is to investigate the effect of fractal transform by adding R-tree index structure-based entropy to existing grid computing models to obtain a balanced infrastructure with minimal fault. In this regard, the presented work is going to extend the commonly scheduling algorithms that are built based on the physical grid structure to a reduced logical network. The objective of this logical network is to reduce the searching in the grid paths according to arrival time rate and path’s bandwidth with respect to load balance and fault tolerance, respectively. Furthermore, an optimization searching technique is utilized to enhance the grid performance by investigating the optimum number of nodes extracted from the logical grid. The experimental results indicated that the proposed model has better execution time, throughput, makespan, latency, load balancing, and success rate.  相似文献

Use of phase shifting has revolutionized the acquisition of photoelastic data. Even since its introduction, various researchers have improved the methodology. In phase shifting the problem of ambiguity exists in the sign of fractional retardation in some zones of the model. This has been overcome with the development of load stepping. However, the conventional approach to data processing in load stepping introduces several noise points in the phase map. In this paper a new methodology for data reduction in load stepping, which removes the noise points in the domain is presented. Results from four- and six-step algorithms are analyzed. A normalization scheme to improve the results has been proposed. A comparative study has also been carried out on the evaluation of phase map by phase shifting, load stepping and the new methodology.  相似文献

For structural health monitoring of composite structure, it is important to quickly and accurately identify the impact load whenever an impact event occurs. This paper proposes a genetic algorithms (GA)-based approach for impact load identification, which can identify the impact location and reconstruct the impact force history simultaneously. In this study, impact load is represented by a set of parameters, thus the impact load identification problem in both space (impact location) and time (impact force history) domains is transformed to a parameter identification problem. A forward model characterizes the dynamic response of the structure subject to a known impact force is incorporated in the identification procedure. By minimizing the difference between the analytical responses given by the forward model and the measured ones, GA adaptively identify the impact location and force history with its global search capability. This new impact identification approach is applied to a stiffened composite panel. The stiffened composite panel is modeled as an equivalent laminate with varying properties and the forward response is obtained by using an assumed modes approach. To improve the computational efficiency, micro-GA (μGA) is employed to perform the identification task. Numerical simulation studies are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed method.  相似文献

Clarifying the phase transformation process and mechanism of single-crystal silicon induced by high pressure is essential for preparation of new silicon phases. Although many previous researches have focused in this area, the volume of high-pressure phases and the duration of phase transformation are still unclear. In this paper, the volume change and the duration of phase transformation from Si-II phase into Si-XII/Si-III phases were investigated quantitatively by introducing a holding process in the unloading stage of a nanoindentation test. Experimental results indicate that the high-pressure phase volume is dependent strongly on the maximum indentation load and independent of the loading/unloading rate and the holding time at the maximum indentation load, while phase transformation duration is independent of the aforementioned experimental parameters. By analyzing the results, a critical volume of Si-XII/Si-III phases was identified which determines the occurrence of sudden phase transformation, and a modified nucleation and growth mechanism of high-pressure phases was proposed. These results provide new insights into high-pressure phase transformations in single-crystal silicon.  相似文献

For full-field phase measurement methods, many algorithms have been developed to extract a phase map from fringe image(s). Both phase wrapping and unwrapping algorithms have been extensively investigated by many researchers, but few papers can be found on how to calculate the coordinates of surface points from a phase map. This paper focuses on algorithms that show how a phase map can be used to calculate coordinates. Details are given for single image methods such as Fourier transform, spatial carrier methods, and multiple image methods like traditional phase-shifting methods. Algorithms that can be used to convert a phase map to coordinates and some issues related to these conversion algorithms are discussed. An artifact is measured using these phase measurement methods. The results show that using the correct algorithm to convert a phase map to coordinates is a key to obtaining accurate measurement results.  相似文献

由于高光谱图像的高数据维和大数据量,现有的波段选择方法大多不能同时具有良好的效果和较短的计算时间。提出了一种用于高光谱图像波段选择的新方法——快速混合搜索算法。该算法将全局搜索和局部寻优有机的结合起来,能够在较短的时间内获得最佳的波段组合,用于高光谱图像的目标分类识别。快速混合搜索算法克服了传统搜索方法在高光谱图像波段选择中的缺陷,能够在提高所选波段性能的同时节省大量的运算时间。分别利用200波段和126波段的AVIRIS对其数据进行了仿真实验。实验结果表明,快速混合搜索算法在所选波段性能和计算耗时方面都获得了令人满意的效果。  相似文献

Fringe patterns from optical metrology systems need to be demodulated to get the desired parameters. Two-dimensional windowed Fourier transform is chosen for the determination of phase and phase derivatives. Two algorithms, one based on filtering and the other based on similarity measure, are developed. Some applications based on these two algorithms are explored, including strain determination, phase unwrapping, phase-shifter calibration, fault detection, edge detection and fringe segmentation. Various examples are given to demonstrate the ideas. Finally implementations of these algorithms are addressed. Most of the work has appeared in various papers and its originality is not claimed. Instead, this paper gives an overview and more insights of our work on windowed Fourier transform.  相似文献

This paper describes a path-following phase unwrapping algorithm and a phase unwrapping algorithm based on discrete cosine transform (DCT) which accelerates the computation and suppresses the propagation of noise. Through analysis of fringe pattern with serious noises simulated in mathematic model, we make a contrast between path-following algorithm and DCT algorithm. The advantages and disadvantages of analytical fringe pattern are also given through comparison of two algorithms. Three-dimensional experimental results have been given to prove the validity of these algorithms. Despite DCT phase unwrapping technique robustness and speed in some cases, it cannot be unwrapping inconsistencies phase. The path-following algorithm can be used in automation analysis of fringe patterns with little influence of noise.  相似文献

Research on the techniques to unwrap the geometrically discontinuous phase map is an active area during the past decade, various algorithm are developed. Basically, these algorithms need a prior knowledge about the spatial extension of the discontinuity area in the sample for correct phase unwrapping, manual mask is often involved and negate the sense of automatic processing to fringe patterns. More ever, current phase unwrapping algorithms are either computationally complex or highly time consuming. In this paper, a refined method is proposed to deal with the geometrical discontinuity problem in an improved automation sense: suppression of background noise and recognition of discontinuity area in the phase map can be finished in the same time, and discontinuous phase map can be unwrapped in a simple way to avoid the effect of discontinuity area. An example of electronic package with complex shape and structure is used to verify the efficiency of this method.  相似文献

Spatial-carrier phase-shifting method (SCPM) retrieves the phase distribution from carrier interferograms by assuming that the phases of the processed pixel and its adjacent pixels are uniform,which introduces considerable theoretical error. A new method is presented in this paper to improve the SCPM accuracy: (1) A quadric curve is used to describe the phase distribution of the adjacent pixels; (2) The linear and quadric terms of the phase are considered as phase shifter errors; (3)Suitable phase shifting algorithms insensitive to these errors are selected. Two "5-step" algorithms are used and their properties are analyzed. An example ofphase retrieving by SCPM is given and the result shows that SCPM has high theoretical accuracy. With the potential high accuracy, ability of measuring dynamic phase andcomputational simplicity, SCPM will become a much more useful phase measurement method.  相似文献
