We study the inverse problem of the reconstruction of the coefficient ?(x, t) = ?0(x, t) + r(x) multiplying ut in a nonstationary parabolic equation. Here ?0(x, t) ≥ ?0 > 0 is a given function, and r(x) ≥ 0 is an unknown function of the class L(Ω). In addition to the initial and boundary conditions (the data of the direct problem), we pose the problem of nonlocal observation in the form ∫0Tu(x, t) (t) = χ(x) with a known measure (t) and a function χ(x). We separately consider the case (t) = ω(t)dt of integral observation with a smooth function ω(t). We obtain sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of the solution of the inverse problem, which have the form of ready-to-verify inequalities. We suggest an iterative procedure for finding the solution and prove its convergence. Examples of particular inverse problems for which the assumptions of our theorems hold are presented.  相似文献

A subgroup K of G is Mp-supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup B of G such that G = KB and TB < G for every maximal subgroup T of K with |K: T| = pα. In this paper we prove the following: Let p be a prime divisor of |G| and let H be ap-nilpotent subgroup having a Sylow p-subgroup of G. Suppose that H has a subgroup D with Dp ≠ 1 and |H: D| = pα. Then G is p-nilpotent if and only if every subgroup T of H with |T| = |D| is Mp-supplemented in G and NG(Tp)/CG(Tp) is a p-group.  相似文献

Two-sided pointwise estimates are established for polynomials that are orthogonal on the circle |z| = 1 with respect to the weight ?(τ): = h(τ)|sin(τ/2)|?1 g(|sin(τ/2)|) (τ ∈ ?), where g(t) is a concave modulus of continuity slowly changing at zero such that t ?1 g(t) ∈ L 1[0, 1] and h(τ) is a positive function from the class C 2π with a modulus of continuity satisfying the integral Dini condition. The obtained estimates are applied to find the order of the distance from the point t = 1 to the greatest zero of a polynomial orthogonal on the segment [?1, 1].  相似文献

We characterize A-linear symmetric and contraction module operator semigroup{Tt}t∈R+L(l2(A)),where A is a finite-dimensional C-algebra,and L(l2(A))is the C-algebra of all adjointable module maps on l2(A).Next,we introduce the concept of operator-valued quadratic forms,and give a one to one correspondence between the set of non-positive definite self-adjoint regular module operators on l2(A)and the set of non-negative densely defined A-valued quadratic forms.In the end,we obtain that a real and strongly continuous symmetric semigroup{Tt}t∈R+L(l2(A))being Markovian if and only if the associated closed densely defined A-valued quadratic form is a Dirichlet form.  相似文献

The Dirichlet problem for the degenerate and singular parabolic p(x)-Laplace equation with one spatial variable is considered. We prove the existence of the unique weak solution such that the derivatives u t and u x of a solution u belong to \({L_{\infty}}\). Results on the solvability of boundary integral equations on a plane contour with a peak obtained in collaboration with V.G. Maz’ya are developed. Earlier, it was proved that, on a contour Γ with an outward peak, the operator of the boundary equation of the Dirichlet boundary value problem maps the space ? p, β + 1 (Γ) continuously onto \(\mathcal{N}_{p,\beta } (\Gamma )\). The norm of a function in ? p, β (Γ) is defined as
, provided that the peak is at the origin. In this case, the norms on the spaces \(\mathcal{N}_{p,\beta }^ \mp (\Gamma )\) are defined by
, where q ± are the intersection points of Γ with the circle {z: |z| = |q|} and δ > 0 is a fixed small number. On a contour with an inward peak, the operator of the boundary equation of the Dirichlet problem continuously maps ? p, β + 1 (Γ) onto ? p, β(Γ), where ? p, β(Γ) is the direct sum of \(\mathcal{N}_{p,\beta }^ + (\Gamma )\) (Γ) and the space
(Γ) of functions on Γ of the form p(z) = Σ k = 0 m t (k)Rez k with the parameter m = [μ ? β ? p ?1]. The operator I ? 2W of the boundary integral equation of plane elasticity theory, where W is the elastic double-layer potential, is considered. The main result is that the operator I ? 2W continuously maps the space ? p, β + 1 × ? p, β + 1(Γ) to the space \(\mathcal{N}_{p,\beta }^ - \times \mathcal{N}_{p,\beta }^ - (\Gamma )\).
On a contour with an inward peak, the obtained representation of the operator I ? 2W and theorems on the boundedness of auxiliary integral operators imply that the images of vector-valued functions from ? p, β + 1 × ? p, β + 1(Γ) have components representable as sums of functions from the spaces \(\mathcal{N}_{p,\beta }^ - (\Gamma )\)(Γ) and ? p, β(Γ).  相似文献

Let G be a finite group. The prime graph Γ(G) of G is defined as follows. The vertices of Γ(G) are the primes dividing the order of G and two distinct vertices p and p′ are joined by an edge if there is an element in G of order pp′. We denote by k(Γ(G)) the number of isomorphism classes of finite groups H satisfying Γ(G) = Γ(H). Given a natural number r, a finite group G is called r-recognizable by prime graph if k(Γ(G)) =  r. In Shen et al. (Sib. Math. J. 51(2):244–254, 2010), it is proved that if p is an odd prime, then B p (3) is recognizable by element orders. In this paper as the main result, we show that if G is a finite group such that Γ(G) = Γ(B p (3)), where p > 3 is an odd prime, then \({G\cong B_p(3)}\) or C p (3). Also if Γ(G) = Γ(B 3(3)), then \({G\cong B_3(3), C_3(3), D_4(3)}\), or \({G/O_2(G)\cong {\rm Aut}(^2B_2(8))}\). As a corollary, the main result of the above paper is obtained.  相似文献

For a vector measure ν having values in a real or complex Banach space and \({p \in}\) [1, ∞), we consider L p (ν) and \({L_{w}^{p}(\nu)}\), the corresponding spaces of p-integrable and scalarly p-integrable functions. Given μ, a Rybakov measure for ν, and taking q to be the conjugate exponent of p, we construct a μ-Köthe function space E q (μ) and show it is σ-order continuous when p > 1. In this case, for the associate spaces we prove that L p (ν) ×  = E q (μ) and \({E_q(\mu)^\times = L_w^p(\nu)}\). It follows that \({L_p (\nu) ^{**} = L_w^p (\nu)}\). We consider linear Hawkes process N t and its inverse process T n . The limit theorems for N t are well known and studied by many authors. In this paper, we study the limit theorems for T n . In particular, we investigate the law of large numbers, the central limit theorem and the large deviation principle for T n . Let G be a finite group and let Γ(G) be the prime graph of G. Assume p prime. We determine the finite groups G such that Γ(G) = Γ(PSL(2, p 2)) and prove that if p ≠ 2, 3, 7 is a prime then k(Γ(PSL(2, p 2))) = 2. We infer that if G is a finite group satisfying |G| = |PSL(2, p 2)| and Γ(G) = Γ(PSL(2, p 2)) then G ? PSL(2, p 2). This enables us to give new proofs for some theorems; e.g., a conjecture of W. Shi and J. Bi. Some applications are also considered of this result to the problem of recognition of finite groups by element orders.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group. The main result of this paper is as follows: If G is a finite group, such that Γ(G) = Γ(2G2(q)), where q = 32n+1 for some n ≥ 1, then G has a (unique) nonabelian composition factor isomorphic to 2 G 2(q). We infer that if G is a finite group satisfying |G| = |2 G 2(q)| and Γ(G) = Γ (2 G 2(q)) then G ? = 2 G 2(q). This enables us to give new proofs for some theorems; e.g., a conjecture of W. Shi and J. In case m T is a Blaschke product with simple roots forming a Carleson sequence, we show that the relation between T and S(m T ) can be strengthened to similarity. For integers nr, we treat the rth largest of a sample of size n as an \(\mathbb {R}^{\infty }\)-valued stochastic process in r which we denote as M(r). We show that the sequence regarded in this way satisfies the Markov property. We go on to study the asymptotic behavior of M(r) as r, and, borrowing from classical extreme value theory, show that left-tail domain of attraction conditions on the underlying distribution of the sample guarantee weak limits for both the range of M(r) and M(r) itself, after norming and centering. In continuous time, an analogous process Y(r) based on a two-dimensional Poisson process on \(\mathbb {R}_{+}\times \mathbb {R}\) is treated similarly, but we note that the continuous time problems have a distinctive additional feature: there are always infinitely many points below the rth highest point up to time t for any t >?0. The paper studies the additive structure of the algebra F(7), i.e., a relatively free associative countably generated algebra with the identity [x1,..., x7] = 0 over an infinite field of characteristic ≠ 2, 3. First, the space of proper multilinear polynomials in this algebra is investigated.
