The formation of nanosize silicides films by implantation of B, P, Ba, and alkali metal atoms in Si(111) and Si(100) followed by thermal annealing is studied by electron spectroscopy and slow-electron diffraction methods. It is shown that implantation of ions with a large dose D > 1016 cm?2 and short-term heating lead to the formation of thin silicides films with new surface superstructures: \(Si(111) - (\sqrt 3 \times \sqrt 3 )R30^ \circ - B\) , Si(100)-2 × 2Ba, Si(111)-1 × 1P, etc.  相似文献

Combining the Okubo-Zweig-Iizuka rule in the decay φ→ρπ→π+π?π0 with the ρ→4π decay amplitudes, we calculate the φ→2π+?π0 and φ→π+π?0 ones. The partial widths of the above φ decays are evaluated, and the excitation curves in e+e? annihilation are obtained, assuming reasonable particular relations among the parameters characterizing the anomalous terms of the HLS Lagrangian. The evaluated branching ratios Bφ→π+π?0 ≈ 2 × 10?7 and Bφ→2π+?π0 ≈ 7 × 10?7 are such that, with the luminosity L=500 pb?1 attained at DAΦNE φ factory, one may already possess about 1685 events of the decays φ→5π.  相似文献

We have measured the branching ratios for \(\bar pp\) annihilation at rest intoπ + π ? η andπ + π ? η′ in hydrogen gas in two data samples that have different fractions ofS-wave andP-wave initial states. The branching ratios are derived from a comparison with the topological branching ratio for \(\bar pp\) annihilations into four charged pions of (49±4)% and the branching ratio intoπ + π ? π + π ? π 0 of (18.7±1.6)%. We find a significant reduction of the branching ratios fromP-states for \(\bar pp \to \pi ^ + \pi ^ - \eta \) andπ + π ? η′ in comparison toS-state annihilation. $$\begin{gathered} BR(S - wave \to \pi ^ + \pi ^ - \eta ) = (13.7 \pm 1.46) \cdot 10^{ - 3} \hfill \\ BR(P - wave \to \pi ^ + \pi ^ - \eta ) = (3.35 \pm 0.84) \cdot 10^{ - 3} \hfill \\ BR(S - wave \to \pi ^ + \pi ^ - \eta ') = (3.46 \pm 0.67) \cdot 10^{ - 3} \hfill \\ BR(P - wave \to \pi ^ + \pi ^ - \eta ') = (0.61 \pm 0.33) \cdot 10^{ - 3} . \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$ In a partial wave analysis of theπ + π ? η Dalitz plot we find the following contributions: Phase space, \(a_2^ + (1320)\pi ^ \mp \) ,ηρ0 andf 2(1270)η: $$\begin{gathered} BR(S - wave \to \pi ^ + \pi ^ - \eta PS) = (6.31 \pm 1.22) \cdot 10^{ - 3} \hfill \\ BR(P - wave \to \pi ^ + \pi ^ - \eta PS) = (0.47 \pm 0.26) \cdot 10^{ - 3} \hfill \\ BR(^1 S_0 \to a_2^ \pm (1320)\pi ^ \mp ) = (2.59 \pm 0.73) \cdot 10^{ - 3} \hfill \\ BR(^3 S_1 \to a_2^ \pm (1320)\pi ^ \mp ) = (1.31 \pm 0.48) \cdot 10^{ - 3} \hfill \\ BR(P - wave \to a_2^ \pm (1320)\pi ^ \mp ) = (1.31 \pm 0.69) \cdot 10^{ - 3} \hfill \\ BR(^3 S_1 \to \rho \eta ) = (3.29 \pm 0.90) \cdot 10^{ - 3} \hfill \\ BR(^1 P_1 \to \rho \eta ) = (0.94 \pm 0.53) \cdot 10^{ - 3} \hfill \\ BR(^1 S_0 \to f_2 (1270)\eta ) = (0.083 \pm 0.086) \cdot 10^{ - 3} \hfill \\ BR(P - wave \to f_2 (1270)\eta ) = (0.64 \pm 0.26) \cdot 10^{ - 3} . \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$ We find a 2 σ effect for the reaction \(\bar pp \to a_0^ \pm (980)\pi ^ \mp \) , \(a_0^ \pm \to \eta \pi ^ \pm \) , with a branching ratio of (0.13±0.07)·10?3. For η' production we give a branching ratio of \(\bar pp \to \rho \eta '\) of (1.81±0.44)·10?3 from3 S 1. We estmate a contribution of about 0.3·10?3 for ρη' fromP-states. The ratio of ρη and ρη' rpoduction is used to test the validity of the quark line rule. In theπ + π ? π + π ? γ final state we do not observe the reaction \(\bar pp \to \pi ^ + \pi ^ - \omega \) , ω→π + π ? λ and derive an upper limit of 3·10?3 for decay modeωπ + π ? λ.  相似文献

Pionic deuterium     
The strong-interaction shift ε 1s πD and broadening Γ 1s πD in pionic deuterium have been determined in a high statistics study of the πD(3p-1s) X-ray transition using a high-resolution crystal spectrometer. The pionic deuterium shift will provide constraints for the pion-nucleon isospin scattering lengths extracted from measurements of shift and broadening in pionic hydrogen. The hadronic broadening is related to pion absorption and production at threshold. The results are ε 1s πD = (?2356 ± 31) meV (repulsive) and Γ 1s πD meV yielding for the complex πD scattering length a πD = [?(24.99±0.33)+i(6.22 ?0.26 +0.12 )] × 10?3 m π ?1 . From the imaginary part, the threshold parameter for pion production is obtained to be α = (251 ?11 +5 ) μb. This allows, in addition, and by using results from pion absorption in 3He at threshold, the determination of the effective couplings g 0 and g 1 for s-wave pion absorption on isoscalar and isovector NN pairs.  相似文献

Partial wave analysis of the π–A π+ππ system produced by 29 GeV/cπ beam on a beryllium target is presented. About 30 × 106 |events in the wide t′|range 0–0.8 GeV2/c 2 are collected with upgraded VES setup. The size of the data sample is 2.5 times larger than one previously analyzed by VES. Data are analyzed using formalism of the density matrix with unlimited rank. We discuss status of the a 1(1420) a 2(1700) a 3(1875) states and a structure of exotic ρ(770)π P-wave with J PC = 1-+. Parameters of a 3(1875) are estimated as M = 1985 ± 20 MeV/c 2, Γ = 200 ± 50 MeV/c 2 (preliminary).  相似文献

We have found a possible example of the rare decayσ + →nΜ + Ν, which violatesδS=δQ. The positive decay track of theσ + comes to rest in the hydrogen bubble chamber and decays into ane +. This track has all the characteristics of a stoppingΜ +. The decay neutron fortuitously scatters twice, producing two recoil protons. The only other possible interpretation of the event isσ +nγ(π + →Μ + Ν), where theπ + →Μ + Ν decay produces no deflection (θ<0.1 rad) and no significant change in curvature. Using thep-wave radiative decay predictions ofBarshay et al. we calculate that the integrated branching ratio for such “accidental” events isγ(σ + →nγ(π + →Μ stop + Ν))/γ(σ + →nπ +)=1.6×10?6. Most of the contribution to this “accidental” branching ratio comes from radiative decays where theπ + mesons have ranges less than 1 mm (p π<20 MeV/c). If one excludes thoseΜ's with ranges less than 1.2 cm the above “accidental” branching ratio becomes 5.5×10?7. With this figure we estimate that we should have seen 6.5×10?2 events of this type thusfar in our experiment. The neutron momentum does not help in deciding between the two hypotheses. We therefore assign a confidence level of 7% for the radiative hypothesis. For the leptonic hypothesis we obtain an estimate of the branching ratio,γ(σ + →nΜ + Ν)/γ(σ + →nπ +)=5×10?5. If one further accepts theσ + →nπ + Ν event reported byBarbaro-Galtieri et al. and theσ + →ne + Ν event reported byNauenberg et al., one obtains theδS=?δQ leptonic branching ratio [γ(σ + →nΜ + Ν)+γ(σ + →ne + Ν)]/γ(σ + →nπ +)=(4±3)×10?5.  相似文献

The inclusive η-momentum spectrum from \(\bar p\) annihilations at rest in liquid hydrogen was measured at LEAR. Branching ratios were obtained for $$\begin{gathered} p\bar p \to \eta \omega \left( {1.04_{ - 0.10}^{ + 0.09} } \right)\% ,\eta \rho ^0 \left( {0.53_{ - 0.08}^{ + 0.20} } \right)\% , \hfill \\ \pi a_2 \left( {8.49_{ - 1.10}^{ + 1.05} } \right)\% ,\eta \pi ^0 \left( {1.33 \pm 0.27} \right) \times 10^{ - 4} , \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$ , and ηη(8.1±3.1)×10?5. An upper limit for \(p\bar p \to \eta \eta '\) of 1.8×10?4 at 95% CL was found. The ratio of the branching ratios is BR(η?)/BR(ηω)=0.51 ?0.06 +0.20 . For the ratio of branching ratios into two pseudoscalar mesons, we have BR(ηπ0)/BR(π0π0)=0.65±0.14, BR(ηη)/BR(π0π0), BR(η η )/BR(π0π0) at 95% CL, and BR(ηη)/BR(ηπ0).  相似文献

Laser atom-molecule reaction interaction through polarizability and dipole moment contribution leads to potential energy surface barrier reshaping and bound states along the reaction path. The polarizability is maximum in the transition state. We will show here by using gauge representation (electric field gauge) for wave length λ = 20.6 μm, intensity I = 1 × 1012 W/cm2, I = 5 × 1012 W/cm2, I = 1 × 1013 W/cm2, I = 3 × 1013 W/cm2, that we can create laser induced potential energy surface barrier reshaping in the transition state region (–1–0.5 a. u.). We illustrate such effects for the LiH + CH3 ? Li + CH4 reaction with a barrier using ab-initio methods for calculating the reaction path, polarizability and dipole moment contribution of the atom-molecule reaction.  相似文献

Using new experimental data, we calculated, with a high precision, a contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic moment from the vacuum-polarization intermediate states π0γ and ηγ taking into account a correction for the trapezoidal rule: aμ(π0γ+aμ(ηγ)=(53.1± 1.5)×10?11. We also determined a small contribution from the e+e?π0, e+e?η, and μ+μ?π0 intermediate states, which was found to be equal to 0.5×10?11.  相似文献

The NA48/2 experiment reports the first observation of the rare decay K±π±π0e+e?, based on about 2000 candidates from 2003 data. The preliminary branching ratio in the full kinematic region is \(\mathcal {B}(K^{\pm } \to \pi ^{\pm }\pi ^{0}e^{+}e^{-})=(4.06\pm 0.17)\cdot 10^{-6}\). A sample of 4.687 × 106\(K^{\pm }\to \pi ^{\pm }{\pi ^{0}_{D}}\) events collected in 2003/4 is analyzed to search for the dark photon (\(A^{\prime }\)) via the decay chain K±π±π0, \(\pi ^{0}\to \gamma A^{\prime }\), \(A^{\prime }\to e^{+}e^{-}\). No signal is observed, limits in the plane mixing parameter ε2 versus its mass \(m_{A^{\prime }}\) are reported.  相似文献

The KLOE-2 experiment continues and extends the program of its predecessor KLOE in the field of discrete symmetry tests with the K meson system, among other studies which comprise light meson spectroscopy, dark matter searches and γγ physics. Together, KLOE and KLOE-2 have recorded the largest sample (almost 8 fb??1) of e+e? collisions at the energy equal to ? meson mass, amounting to 2.4 × 1010 of produced ? mesons. We report on the latest results and ongoing analyses of KLOE and KLOE-2 concerning discrete symmetry tests and measurements of symmetry-violating observables. A measurement of the CPT violation sensitive asymmetry in semileptonic decays of K˙S with 1.7 fb??1 of KLOE data will be presented, which improves the sensitivity w.r.t. previous measurements about twice. Moreover, status of direct tests of T and CPT in transitions of neutral kaons performed with the ? →K˙SK˙L → πeν, 3π0(2π) processes will be reported, followed by the search of the CP-violating decay K˙S → 3π0 using the data recently acquired by KLOE-2.  相似文献

We have observed three unique decays of F mesons into KKπ and five unique decays of D mesons into KKπ using the NA11 spectrometer together with a telescope of high-resolution silicon microstrip detectors. The experimental results obtained with the Crystal Ball detector for the physics of η-meson decays are reviewed. The η → 3π 0 Dalitz plot slope and the ηπ 0 γγ decay width are measured with a high accuracy using 3 × 107 η decays. Upper limits on the η → 3γ, η → 2π 0 γ, and η → 3π 0 γ C-forbidden decays are found. The sensitivity of these upper limits to C violation is estimated. An upper limit on the η → 4π 0 C P-forbidden decay is found for the first time and the sensitivity of this value to C P violation is estimated.  相似文献

The results of theoretical and experimental studies of the influence of Ba-atom implantation and the presence of an oxide film on the Si-surface sputtering coefficient under ion bombardment are presented. It is shown that, in the dose range of D = 1014–5 × 1015 cm—2, the Si sputtering coefficient increases linearly, then this increase decelerates, and is almost constant, starting from 1016 cm–2. In the range of D = 5 × 1015–5 × 1016 cm—2, the Ba sputtering coefficient increases sharply, which is explained by an increase in the Ba concentration in the surface layer during the ion bombardment process.  相似文献

The magnetic correlation in the Hubbard model on a two-dimensional anisotropic triangular lattice is studied by using the determinant quantum Monte Carlo method. Around half filling, it is found that the increasing frustration t/t could change the wave vector of maximum spin correlation along(π,π) → (π, 5π/6) → (5π/6, 5π/6) → (2π/3, 2π/3),indicating the frustration’s remarkable effect on the magnetism. In the studied filling region ?n? = 1.0 ? 1.3, the doping behaves like some kinds of frustration, which destroys the (π,π) AFM correlation quickly and push the magnetic order to a wide range of the (2π/3, 2π/3)120° order when the t/t is large enough. Our non-perturbative calculations reveal a rich magnetic phase diagram over both the frustration and electron doping.  相似文献

We theoretically demonstrate the inclusive and semiexclusive spectra in the 3He (K ?, π ?) reactions at 600 MeV/c (4°) within a distorted-wave impulse approximation, using a coupled (2N ? Λ) + (2N ? Σ) model with a spreading potential. It is shown that a signal of a ${^3_\Sigma{\rm He}}$ quasibound state is clearly observed near the Σ threshold in the π ? spectrum, whereas a peak of a ${^3_\Sigma{\rm n}}$ quasibound state is relatively reduced in the π + spectrum. The mechanism of Σ production for these spectra is discussed.  相似文献

Structure of smooth hydrocarbon CD x films with a high deuterium ratio x ~ 0.5 redeposited from T-10 tokamak D-plasma discharges (NRC Kurchatov Institute, Moscow) has been studied. For the first time, small and wide angle X-ray scattering technique using synchrotron radiation and neutron diffraction have been employed. A fractal structure of CD x films is found to consist of mass-fractals with rough border, surface fractals (with rough surface), plane scatterers and linear chains forming a branched and highly cross-linked 3D carbon network. The found fractals, including sp2 clusters, are of typical size ~1.60 nm. They include a C13 fragment consisting of three interconnected aromatic rings forming a minimal fractal sp2 aggregate 9 × C13. These graphene-like sp2 clusters are interconnected and form a 3D lattice which can be alternatively interpreted as a highly defective graphene layer with a large concentration of vacancies. The unsaturated chemical bonds are filled with D, H atoms, linear sp2 C=C, C=O, and sp3 structural elements like C-C, C-H(D), C-D2,3, C-O, O-H, COOH, C x D(H) y found earlier from the infrared spectra of CD x films, which are binding linear elements of a carbon network. The amorphous structure of CD x films has been confirmed by the results of earlier fractal structure modeling, as well as by researches with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy which allow finding a definite similarity with the electron structure of their model analogues — polymeric a-C:H and a-C:D films with a disordered carbon network consisting of atoms in sp3 + sp2 states.  相似文献

The Ericson-Ericson optical potential for theπ-nucleuss-wave interaction was extended to be applicable also for light nuclei. In particular, terms of order A?1 were evaluated and the (π2N) dispersion was considered. From comparison with experimental data we found that considerable improvement could be achieved by introducing terms of order A?1. The (π2N) dispersion was found to be repulsive and of the same magnitude as the absorption. The (πN) scattering lengths were deduced to be α31=0.258±0.008m π ?1 and α1+2α3=?0.018±0.008m π ?1 .  相似文献
