We demonstrate theoretically that an efficient field-free molecular orientation driven by the positively chirped laser pulse whose frequency is in the terahertz regime can be achieved, taking the LiH molecule for example. Exact numerical calculations are performed by solving the time-dependent Schrödinger equation including the vibrational and rotational degrees of freedom. The maximal orientation degree of the LiH molecule  |  ? cosθ ?  |  max  = 0.85 under the action of chirped laser pulse with the peak intensity of 4.78 × 108 W/cm2 at T = 0 K, which is larger than  |  ? cosθ ?  |  max =0.75 driven by the half-cycle laser pulse with the same intensity. The molecular orientation degree decreases with the increase of temperature.  相似文献

A compact high-peak-power, high-repetition-rate burst mode laser is achieved by an acousto-optical Q-switched Nd:YVO4 1064 nm laser directly pumped at 878.6 nm. Pulse trains with 10–100 pulses are obtained using acousto-optical Q-switch at repetition rates of 10–100 kHz under a pulsed pumping with a 1 ms duration. At the maximum pump energy of 108.5 mJ, the pulse energy of 10 kHz burst mode laser reaches 44 mJ corresponding to a single pulse energy of 4.4 mJ and an optical-to-optical efficiency of 40.5 %.The maximum peak power of ~468.1 kW at 10 kHz is obtained with a pulse width of 9.4 ns. The beam quality factor is measured to be M 2 ~1.5 and the pulse jitter is estimated to be less than 1 % in both amplitude and time region.  相似文献

Experimental investigations on ablatively accelerated thin plastic foil targets irradiated by a 6J, 5 nsec Nd: glass laser pulse, were conducted using shadowgraphy technique. A 2 nsec, 0.53 μm probe pulse, derived from the main laser was used for recording the foil motion. It was observed that 6 μm plastic foils could be accelerated to a velocity of about 3 × 106 cm/sec for an incident laser intensity of 5 × 1013 W/cm2 and the corresponding ablation pressure was 0.4 Mbar. Ablation pressure (P) scaling against absorbed laser intensity (I a ) was slower (PI a 0.4 ) for a smaller laser focal spot (30 μm) as compared to the scaling (PI a 0.7 ) for a larger focal spot (500 μm). This result has been explained considering the loss due to lateral energy transport from the laser plasma interaction region.  相似文献

The structure factor and correlation energy of a quantum wire of thickness b ? a B are studied in random phase approximation (RPA) and for the less investigated region r s < 1. Using the single-loop approximation, analytical expressions of the structure factor are obtained. The exact expressions for the exchange energy are also derived for a cylindrical and harmonic wire. The correlation energy in RPA is found to be represented by ? c (br s ) = α(r s )/b + β(r s ) ln(b) + η(r s ), for small b and high densities. For a pragmatic width of the wire, the correlation energy is in agreement with the quantum Monte Carlo simulation data.  相似文献

Bonding strength of thermal spray coatings depends on the interfacial adhesion between bond coat and substrate material. In this paper, NiCrAlY (Ni-164/211 Ni22 %Cr10 %Al1.0 %Y) coatings were developed on laser modified H13 tool steel surface using atmospheric plasma spray (APS). Different laser peak power, P p, and duty cycle, DC, were investigated in order to improve the mechanical properties of H13 tool steel surface. The APS spraying parameters setting for coatings were set constant. The coating microstructure near the interface was analyzed using IM7000 inverted optical microscope. Interface bonding of NiCrAlY was investigated by interfacial indentation test (IIT) method using MMT-X7 Matsuzawa Hardness Tester Machine with Vickers indenter. Diffusion of atoms along NiCrAlY coating, laser modified and substrate layers was investigated by energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDXS) using Hitachi Tabletop Microscope TM3030 Plus. Based on IIT method results, average interfacial toughness, K avg, for reference sample was 2.15 MPa m1/2 compared to sample L1 range of K avg from 6.02 to 6.96 MPa m1/2 and sample L2 range of K avg from 2.47 to 3.46 MPa m1/2. Hence, according to K avg, sample L1 has the highest interface bonding and is being laser modified at lower laser peak power, P p, and higher duty cycle, DC, prior to coating. The EDXS analysis indicated the presence of Fe in the NiCrAlY coating layer and increased Ni and Cr composition in the laser modified layer. Atomic diffusion occurred in both coating and laser modified layers involved in Fe, Ni and Cr elements. These findings introduce enhancement of coating system by substrate surface modification to allow atomic diffusion.  相似文献

The collisionless vibrational excitation of a polyatomic molecule in an IR laser radiation field has been theoretically studied. It has been shown that (i) the degree of vibrational excitation (namely, number 0000 of vibrational quanta of a molecular mode near-resonant with the IR laser field that are absorbed by the molecule) is low if laser pulse intensity P (energy flux density in the laser beam) is lower than a certain critical value P cr; (ii) the degree of excitation abruptly increases after crossing the boundary where P = P cr; (iii) this effect is attributed to two properties inherent in polyatomic molecules, namely, the anharmonicity of the vibrational mode interacting with the laser field and the energy exchange with other modes; and (iv) at P > P cr, number 00000 is determined only by energy density Φ = PτP, where τP is the laser pulse duration, 00000 monotonically increases with increasing Φ. The model is in good agreement with the experimental data.  相似文献

In this paper, a gate-all-around junctionless tunnel field effect transistor (JLTFET) based on heterostructure of compound and group III–V semiconductors is introduced and simulated. In order to blend the high tunneling efficiency of narrow band gap material JLTFETs and the high electron mobility of III–V JLTFETs, a type I heterostructure junctionless TFET adopting Ge–Al x Ga1?x As–Ge system has been optimized by numerical simulation in terms of aluminum (Al) composition. To improve device performance, we considered a nanowire structure, and it was illustrated that high-performance logic technology can be achieved by the proposed device. The optimal Al composition founded to be around 20 % (x = 0.2). The numerical simulation results demonstrate that the proposed device has low leakage current I OFF of ~1.9 × 10?17, I ON of 4 µA/µm, I ON/I OFF current ratio of 1.7 × 1011 and subthreshold swing SS of 12.6 mV/decade at the 40 nm gate length and temperature of 300 K.  相似文献

Recently, we reported a significant solvent effect on the phosphorus hyperfine coupling constant a P in β-phosphorylated 6-membered ring nitroxides (?a P = 24 G in Org. Biomol. Chem. 2015). Thus, it led us to investigate the effect of solvent for several 6-membered ring nitroxides. Although smaller than mentioned above, a change of 5–7 G in a P with the polarity of solvent was still observed for these nitroxides. As for other β-phosphorylated nitroxides, a N increases with the polarity/polarizability π* and the Hydrogen Bond Donating α properties of the solvent whereas a P exhibits the reverse trends. The change of a P with the solvent depends a lot on a subtle interplay between the destabilizing steric hindrance due to the bulkiness of the substituents and the stabilizing hyperconjugation interactions SOMO → σ*C–P between the anti-bonding orbitals of the C–P bond and the SOMO.  相似文献

The magnetic superconductorRu0.9Sr2YCu2.1O7.9 (Ru-1212Y) has beeninvestigated using neutron diffraction under variable temperature and magnetic field. Withthe complementary information from magnetization measurements, we propose a magnetic phasediagram T-H for the Ru-1212 system. Uniaxialantiferromagnetic (AFM) order of 1.2μ B /Ruatoms with moments parallel to the c-axis is found below the magnetictransition temperature at  ~140 K in the absence of magnetic field. In addition,ferromagnetism (FM) in the ab-plane develops below  ~120 K, butis suppressed at lower temperature by superconducting correlations. Externally appliedmagnetic fields cause Ru-moments to realign from the c-axis to theab-plane, i.e. along the ?1,1,0? direction, and induce ferromagnetismin the plane with  ~1μ B at 60 kOe.These observations of the weak ferromagnetism suppressed by superconductivity and thefield-induced metamagnetic transition between AFM and FM demonstrate not only competingorders of superconductivity and magnetism, but also suggest a certain vortex dynamicscontributing to these magnetic transitions.  相似文献

LiFe1???x Sm x PO4/C cathode materials were synthesized though a facile hydrothermal method. Compared with high-temperature solid-phase sintering, the method can allow for the fabrication of low Sm content (2 %), a scarce and expensive rare earth element, while the presence of an optimized carbon coating with large amount of sp2-type carbon sharply increases the material’s electrochemical performance. The high-rate dischargeability at 5 C, as well as the exchange current density, can be increased by 21 and 86 %, respectively, which were attributed to the fine size and the large cell parameter a/c as much. It should be pointed out that the a/c value will be increased for the LiFePO4 Sm-doped papered by both of the two methods, while the mechanism is different: The value c is increased for the front and the value a is decreased for the latter, respectively.  相似文献

The population noise in a semiconductor laser is calculated by means of the quantum mechanical Langevin method. The resulting population noise is given by 〈δ N c 2 〉=(T c/2) (rate in+rate out)+K(¯n), whereN c is the total number of electrons in the conduction band in the active region,T c is a relaxation time. The first expression is the usual shot noise term. The transition rates are the sum of the rates due to the light field, the pumping and the spontaneous emission. The last termK(¯ n) is caused by the light field fluctuations;¯n is the mean number of photons in the laser mode.K(¯ n) consists of two parts: a) The main part is proportional to the intensity noise of the light field, which increases below but near threshold and gets constant above threshold. b) There is a second term due to the fact that parts of the fluctuations of the population and of the light field are correlated. — The noise spectrumS I(ω) of the junction currentI is calculated for low frequencies. Beyond the usual shot noise termS I(0)=2eI, additional noise is found in and above the threshold region, a) mainly because of the fluctuations of the light field in the laser mode and b) to a small amount, because the absorption processes due to the laser photons weaken the forward current, which is carried by emission processes, while the absorption noise adds to the emission noise.  相似文献

We describe a parametrized Yang-Baxter equation with nonabelian parameter group. That is, we show that there is an injective map \({g \mapsto R (g)}\) from \({ \rm{GL}(2, \mathbb{C}) \times \rm{GL}(1, \mathbb{C})}\) to End \({(V \otimes V)}\) , where V is a two-dimensional vector space such that if \({g, h \in G}\) then R 12(g)R 13(gh) R 23(h) = R 23(h) R 13(gh)R 12(g). Here R i j denotes R applied to the i, j components of \({V \otimes V \otimes V}\) . The image of this map consists of matrices whose nonzero coefficients a 1a 2b 1b 2c 1c 2 are the Boltzmann weights for the non-field-free six-vertex model, constrained to satisfy a 1 a 2 + b 1 b 2 ? c 1 c 2 = 0. This is the exact center of the disordered regime, and is contained within the free fermionic eight-vertex models of Fan and Wu. As an application, we show that with boundary conditions corresponding to integer partitions λ, the six-vertex model is exactly solvable and equal to a Schur polynomial s λ times a deformation of the Weyl denominator. This generalizes and gives a new proof of results of Tokuyama and Hamel and King.  相似文献

We report a narrow pulse width optical parametric oscillator based on periodically poled MgO:LiNbO3 (PPMgLN) with a high repetition rate under quasi-phase matched conditions. When the maximum pumping power of the 1,064-nm laser was 14.57 W, the acousto-optical (A-O) Q-switch repetition rate was 100 kHz, and the PPMgLN crystal grating period was 29.5 μm. A 1,474-nm signal light output power of 4.21 W and a 3,828 nm idler light output power of 1.547 W were obtained, corresponding to a pulse width of 9.52 ns and 9.65 ns, respectively. The overall optical–optical conversion efficiency was 39.5%. Additionally, by changing the temperature from 25°C to 150°C, a tunable signal wavelength of 1,474–1,499 nm and idler wavelength at 3,676–3,828 nm of the output laser were achieved.  相似文献

A symmetry analysis of the possible magnetic structures of Er5Ge3 in the ground state is performed using the results of measurements of elastic magnetic neutron scattering at 4.2 K. It is shown that the minimum discrepancy factor R m ≈9.5% corresponds to a modulated collinear magnetic structure in which the magnetic moments of erbium atoms are oriented along the a 3 axis of the unit cell of the crystal structure and induce an antiferromagnetic longitudinal spin wave (AFLSW). The magnetic structure is characterized by the wave vector k=2π(0, 0, μ /a 3) (where μ≈0.293) and the modulation period λ≈3.413a 3. Cobalt ferrite, CoFe2O4, nanoparticles in the size range 2–15 nm have been prepared using a non-aqueous solvothermal method. The magnetic studies indicate a superparamagnetic behavior, showing an increase in the blocking temperatures (ranging from 215 to more than 340 K) with the particle size, D TEM. Fitting M versus H isotherms to the saturation approach law, the anisotropy constant, K, and the saturation magnetization, M S, are obtained. For all the samples, it is observed that decreasing the temperature gives rise to an increase in both magnetic properties. These increases are enhanced at low temperatures (below ~160 K) and they are related to surface effects (disordered magnetic moments at the surface). The fit of the saturation magnetization to the T 2 law gives larger values of the Bloch constant than expected for the bulk, increasing with decreasing the particle size (larger specific surface area). The saturation magnetization shows a linear dependence with the reciprocal particle size, 1/D TEM, and a thickness of 3.7 to 5.1 Å was obtained for the non-magnetic or disordered layer at the surface using the dead layer theory. The hysteresis loops show a complex behavior at low temperatures (T ≤ 160 K), observing a large hysteresis at magnetic fields H > ~1000 Oe compared to smaller ones (H ≤ ~1000 Oe). From the temperature dependence of the ac magnetic susceptibility, it can be concluded that the nanoparticles are in magnetic interaction with large values of the interaction parameter T 0, as deduced by assuming a Vogel–Fulcher dependence of the superparamagnetic relaxation time. Another evidence of the presence of magnetic interactions is the almost nearly constant value below certain temperatures, lower than the blocking temperature T b, observed in the FC magnetization curves.  相似文献

We demonstrate a high-repetition-rate, short-pulse-width pulse burst laser from a compact 885 nm laser diode directly pumped by a passively Q-switched YAG/Nd:YAG/Cr:YAG laser. We investigate the output laser characteristics with different output transmissions and spot sizes of the pumping laser and compare these characteristics. After optimization, we achieve a shortest pulse width of 1.4 ns generated by a 1,064 nm pulse burst laser. The single-pulse energy reaches 239 μJ at 86.3 kHz, with a peak power of 117.2 kW.  相似文献

Spectral dispersions of index of refraction \({n(\lambda )}\) and extinction coefficient \({\kappa (\lambda )}\) of undoped amorphous selenium (a-Se) films of three thicknesses (d?≈?0.5, 0.75, and 1.0 µm) were evaluated by analyzing experimental room-temperature normal-incidence transmittance-wavelength (\({{T_{{\text{exp}}}}(\lambda )} - \lambda\)) data (λ =?400–1100 µm) of their air-supported {a-Se film/thick glass slide}-stacks using Swanepoel’s transmission envelope theory of uniform films. Above a wavelength \({{\lambda _c}\,\, \approx \,\,640\;{\text{nm}}}\), as-measured \({{T_{{\text{exp}}}}(\lambda )}\,\, - \,\lambda\) spectra display well-resolved maxima and minima, with minor shrinkage in transparent and weak absorption regions (750–1100 nm). Below \({\lambda _{\text{c}}}\), a smeared sharp decline of \({{T_{{\text{exp}}}}(\lambda )}\) with decreasing λ, signifying strong absorption in a-Se films and existence of band-tail localized states. For λ > λ c, the \({n\,(\lambda )}\, - \,\lambda\) data retrieved from algebraic envelope procedures followed a Sellmeier-like dispersion relation, with the best-fit values of high-frequency dielectric constant \({{\varepsilon _\infty }\, \approx \,\,{\text{4.9}}}\), static index of refraction \({{n_{\text{0}}} = n\left( {E\, \to \,{\text{0}}} \right)\,\, \approx \,\,{\text{2.43}}}\), and resonance wavelength \({{\lambda _0}\, \approx \,490\,\,{\text{nm}}}\), which may be assigned to onset of photogeneration in a-Se. Urbach-like dependency of absorption coefficient \({\alpha (h{{\nu }})}\) of a-Se films on photon energy \({h{{\nu }}}\) was realized with an Urbach-tail breadth of 85 meV. All achieved optical parameters were found to be slightly dependent on film thickness. Findings of present algebraic analysis are consistent with reported literature results obtained on the basis of other optical analytical approaches.  相似文献

We consider Ising models in two and three dimensions, with short range ferromagnetic and long range, power-law decaying, antiferromagnetic interactions. We let J be the ratio between the strength of the ferromagnetic to antiferromagnetic interactions. The competition between these two kinds of interactions induces the system to form domains of minus spins in a background of plus spins, or vice versa. If the decay exponent p of the long range interaction is larger than d + 1, with d the space dimension, this happens for all values of J smaller than a critical value Jc(p), beyond which the ground state is homogeneous. In this paper, we give a characterization of the infinite volume ground states of the system, for p > 2d and J in a left neighborhood of Jc(p). In particular, we prove that the quasi-one-dimensional states consisting of infinite stripes (d = 2) or slabs (d = 3), all of the same optimal width and orientation, and alternating magnetization, are infinite volume ground states. Our proof is based on localization bounds combined with reflection positivity.  相似文献

The unit cell parameters a, b, and c of [N(CH3)4]2ZnCl4 have been measured by x-ray diffraction in the temperature range 80–293 K. Temperature dependences of the thermal expansion coefficients αa, αb, and αc along the principal crystallographic axes and of the unit cell thermal expansion coefficient αV were determined. It is shown that the a=f(T), b=f(T), and c=f(T) curves exhibit anomalies in the form of jumps at phase transition temperatures T1=161 K and T2=181 K and that the phase transition occurring at T3=276 K manifests itself in the a=f(T) and b=f(T) curves as a break. A slight anisotropy in the coefficient of thermal expansion of the crystal was revealed. The phase transitions occurring at T1=161 K and T2=181 K in [N(CH3)4]2ZnCl4 were established to be first-order.  相似文献
