In this paper, the reachability realization of a switched linear discrete-time system, which is a collection of linear time-invariant discrete-time systems along with some maps for “switching” among them, is addressed. The main contribution of this paper is to prove that for a switched linear discrete-time system, there exists a basic switching sequence such that the reachable (controllable) state set of this basic switching sequence is equal to the reachable (controllable) state set of the system. Hence, the reachability (controllability) can be realized by using only one switching sequence. We also discuss the stabilizability of switched systems, and obtain a sufficient condition for stabilizability. Two numeric examples are given to illustrate the results.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the quadratic stabilizability via state feedback for a particular class of switched systems that evolve on a non-uniform time domain by introducing time scales theory. The system considered switches between a continuous-time subsystem with variable lengths and a discrete-time subsystem with variable discrete step sizes. Necessary and sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the quadratic stability of this class of switched systems via a switching state feedback law based on the existence of a common positive definite matrix satisfying the quadratic stabilizability condition by considering that the two subsystems are unstable. By state feedback, we mean that the switching among subsystems depends on the system states. Current results for this kind of state switching feedback control are derived only for switched systems evolving on a continuous time domain or a discrete time domain with fixed step’s size. These results are not applicable for the particular class of switched systems where there is a mixing between the continuous and discrete dynamics. This motivates the derivation of a new and more general state feedback control law for switched systems in this work. A numerical example illustrating the results is presented.  相似文献

In the paper, commuting and stable feedback design for switched linear systems is investigated. This problem is formulated as to build up suitable state feedback controller for each subsystem such that the closed-loop systems are not only asymptotically stable but also commuting each other. A new concept, common admissible eigenvector set (CAES), is introduced to establish necessary/sufficient conditions for commuting and stable feedback controllers. For second-order systems, a necessary and sufficient condition is established. Moreover, a parametrization of the CAES is also obtained. The motivation comes from stabilization of switched linear systems which consist of a family of LTI systems and a switching law specifying the switching between them, where if all the subsystems are stable and commuting each other, then the total system is stable under arbitrary switching.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the asymptotic stability of continuous-time positive switched linear systems for the case when each subsystem is only stable. By using the so-called “joint linear copositive Lyapunov function” (JLCLF) generalizing the common linear copositive Lyapunov function, we show that the system remains asymptotically stable under appropriate switching if it has a JLCLF. Then, the main result is extended to positive switched linear systems with time delay.  相似文献

In this paper, the stability properties for a class of switched stochastic systems with commutative componentwise subsystem matrices are studied. Under some switching law, the trivial solutions of the above systems are proved to be exponentially stable in mean square and almost sure exponentially stable if the random perturbations are sufficiently "small".  相似文献

This paper is concerned with exponential quasi-dissipativity for switched nonlinear systems using multiple storage functions and multiple supply rates. First, a new concept of exponential quasi-dissipativity for a switched nonlinear system is proposed. In contrast with dissipative system which does not produce energy in some abstract sense, the supply rate of quasi-dissipativity is the sum of the conventional dissipativity supply rate and the constant supply rate. This means quasi-dissipative system can produce energy by itself. Each active subsystem is only required to be exponentially quasi-dissipative, while the energy changing of each inactive subsystem characterized by cross-supply rates is considered as the transformation of “energy” from the active subsystem. By weakening the conventional dissipation inequality, a broader class of open-loop systems and controllers are admissible, leading to broader application. Second, the ultimate boundedness property is obtained under some constraints on the energy changing of inactive subsystems. Third, the exponential quasi-dissipativity conditions for switched nonlinear systems are obtained by the design of a state-dependent switching law. In particular, the sufficient conditions of exponential quasi-passivity and exponential finite power gain for switched nonlinear systems are given thereby providing generalizations of KYP conditions and HJI inequality. Finally, the effectiveness of the obtained results is verified by two examples.  相似文献

In this paper we present some necessary and sufficient conditions for the stability of periodically switched discrete-time linear index-1 singular system, (PSSS). In particular, it is proved that, if at least one subsystem of a PSSS is asymptotically stable, then there is a switching rule, so that the whole system is also uniformly exponentially stable. Furthermore, for a periodically switched control system with no stable subsystems, there exist a switching rule and feedback matrices, such that the obtained PSSS is uniformly exponentially stable.  相似文献

Periodical stabilization problems for switched linear systems are investigated in this paper. For autonomous switched systems, if there exists a stable convex combination of the subsystems, then a periodically switching signal can be constructed such that the overall system is asymptotically stable. Based on this fact, for switched control systems, corresponding sufficient conditions are presented under which constant/switching direct/observer-based state feedback controller can be designed such that the corresponding closed-loop systems are asymptotically stable under some periodically switching signal. Some numerical examples are given to illustrate our results.  相似文献

Asymptotic stability of time-varying switched systems is investigated in this paper. The less conservative sufficient criteria for asymptotic stability of time-varying discrete-time switched systems are proposed via common indefinite difference Lyapunov functions and multiple indefinite difference Lyapunov functions introduced in this note, respectively. Common indefinite difference Lyapunov functions can be used to analyze stability of a switched system with asymptotic stable subsystems and arbitrary switching signal. Multiple indefinite difference Lyapunov functions can be used to investigate stability of a switched system with unstable subsystems and a given switching signal. The difference of the proposed Lyapunov function may be positive at some instants for an asymptotically stable subsystem. We compare these main results and illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained theorems by three numerical examples.  相似文献

Our main interest in this paper is the resolution of the problem of controllability of interconnected nonlinear delay systems in function space, from which hopefully the existence of an optimal control law can be deduced later. We insist that each subsystem be controlled by its own variables while taking into account the interacting effects. This is the recent basic insight of [13] on ordinary differential systems. Controllability is deduced for the composite system from the assumption of controllability of each free subsystem and a growth condition of the interconnecting structure. Conditions for a free system’s controllability are given. One application is presented. The insight it provides for the growth of global economy has important policy implications.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of stability of switched homogeneous systems is addressed. First of all, if there is a quadratic Lyapunov function such that nonlinear homogeneous systems are asymptotically stable, a matrix Lyapunov-like equation is obtained for a stable nonlinear homogeneous system using semi-tensor product of matrices, and Lyapunov equation of linear system is just its particular case. Following the previous results, a sufficient condition is obtained for stability of switched nonlinear homogeneous systems, and a switching law is designed by partition of state space. In particular, a constructive approach is provided to avoid chattering phenomena which is caused by the switching rule. Then for planar switched homogeneous systems, an LMI approach to stability of planar switched homogeneous systems is presented. Similar to the condition for linear systems, the LMI-type condition is easily verifiable. An example is given to illustrate that candidate common Lyapunov function is a key point for design of switching law.  相似文献

This paper investigates the periodic switching point controllability and stabilization of periodic switched Boolean control networks (PSBCNs), and applies the obtained results to the stabilization of deterministic asynchronous Boolean control networks (DABCNs). Firstly, using the algebraic state space representation of PSBCNs, a kind of periodic switching point controllability matrix is constructed, based on which, a necessary and sufficient condition is presented for the periodic switching point reachability and controllability of PSBCNs. Secondly, using the reachable set of PSBCNs, a constructive procedure is proposed to design time-variant state feedback controllers for the periodic switching point stabilization of PSBCNs. Finally, by converting the dynamics of DABCNs into the form of PSBCNs, the time-variant state feedback stabilization problem of DABCNs is solved.  相似文献

This paper investigates stability and stabilization of positive switched systems with mode-dependent average dwell time, which permits to each subsystem in the underlying systems to have its own average dwell time. First, by using the multiple linear copositive Lyapunov function, the stability analysis of continuous-time systems in the autonomous form is addressed based on the mode-dependent average dwell time switching strategy. Then, the stabilization of non-autonomous systems is considered. State-feedback controllers are constructed, and all the proposed conditions are solvable in terms of linear programming. The obtained results are also extended to discrete-time systems. Finally, the simulation examples are given to illustrate the correctness of the design. The switching strategy used in the paper seems to be more effective than the average dwell time switching by some comparisons.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the event-triggered control of switched linear systems. The coupling of system switching and event-triggered communication raises two phenomena: (1) the update of controller cannot always catch up with the active subsystem; (2) the switching may lead to additional triggers. The first phenomenon is called the asynchronous switching induced by network communication and the second one brings great difficulty to avoid the Zeno behavior of event-triggered mechanism (ETM). To address the above problem, we propose a new ETM which contains the switching signal of models and controllers and the discontinuity of triggering error at switching time instants. A relative threshold strategy, combined with a jump function, is designed as a new threshold function. By introducing a compensation term, the linear feedback control law is extended to avoid the Zeno behavior of ETM and improve the solvability of control algorithm. Based on the proposed event-triggered control scheme, the exponential stabilization of switched systems is achieved with relaxed constraints on the triggering and switching conditions. The obtained results are validated by a numerical example.  相似文献

We study controllability of switched differential algebraic equations (switched DAEs) with fixed switching signal. Based on a behavioral definition of controllability we are able to establish a controllability characterization that takes into account possible jumps and impulses induced by the switches. This works is concerned with the finite-time optimal stabilization problem for a class of switched non-strict-feedback nonlinear systems whose powers are possibly different positive odd rational numbers in the sense the powers of each subsystem might differ from others. It is well known that high-order nonlinear systems are intrinsically challenging as feedback linearization and backstepping method successfully developed for low-order systems fail to work. To this purpose, the nested saturation homogeneous controller is constructively devised to achieve global finite-time stability. Furthermore, the corresponding design parameters are optimized by minimizing a well-defined cost function, and thus an optimal controller being independent of switching signals is obtained. Simulation results are eventually provided to validate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

This paper presents a new computational approach for solving optimal control problems governed by impulsive switched systems. Such systems consist of multiple subsystems operating in succession, with possible instantaneous state jumps occurring when the system switches from one subsystem to another. The control variables are the subsystem durations and a set of system parameters influencing the state jumps. In contrast with most other papers on the control of impulsive switched systems, we do not require every potential subsystem to be active during the time horizon (it may be optimal to delete certain subsystems, especially when the optimal number of switches is unknown). However, any active subsystem must be active for a minimum non-negligible duration of time. This restriction leads to a disjoint feasible region for the subsystem durations. The problem of choosing the subsystem durations and the system parameters to minimize a given cost function is a non-standard optimal control problem that cannot be solved using conventional techniques. By combining a time-scaling transformation and an exact penalty method, we develop a computational algorithm for solving this problem. We then demonstrate the effectiveness of this algorithm by considering a numerical example on the optimization of shrimp harvesting operations.  相似文献

Traditional method to design a controller for each subsystem of switched systems will increase the complexity of the controller’s realization. Hence this paper gives sufficient conditions for designing a uniform output feedback controller for linear switched systems, and this common controller can be used for all subsystems of the switched systems. Then the output stabilization problem for a particular class of linear switched systems under this uniform output feedback controller has been studied. An illustrative example is given in order to highlight the proposed method.  相似文献

Input-to-state stability (ISS) analysis and stabilization are concerned in this paper for switched nonlinear positive systems (SNPS), where the deterministic and random switching are both included. For general SNPS, switched affine nonlinear positive systems (SANPS) and switched linear positive systems (SLPS) with deterministic and some kinds of random ”slow” switching, some criterions on ISS are provided. From the criterions for SANPS and SLPS, the ISS properties can be judged just by the differential, algebraic and switching characteristics of the systems. Further, based on the criterions for SANPS and SLPS, some state feedback controllers are designed such that the closed-loop systems be positive, ISS or ISS in some stochastic senses. Four simulation examples verify the validity of our results.  相似文献
