By using a six-qubit cluster state as the quantum channel, we investigat the joint remote state preparation of an arbitrary equatorial two-qubit state. We analytically obtain the fidelities of the joint remote state preparation process in noisy environments, such as the amplitude-damping noise and phase-damping noise. In our scheme, the two different noise including amplitude-damping noise and the phase-damping noise only affect the travel qubits of the quantum channel, and then we show that the fidelities in these two noisy cases only depend on the decoherence noisy rate.

In this paper, we demonstrate that two Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states can be used to realize the perfect and deterministic controlled remote state preparation of an arbitrary two-qubit state by performing only the two-qubit projective measurements and appropriate unitary operations.

Recently, deterministic joint remote state preparation (JRSP) schemes have been proposed to achieve 100% success probability. In this paper, we propose a new version of deterministic JRSP scheme of an arbitrary two-qubit state by using the six-qubit cluster state as shared quantum resource. Compared with previous schemes, our scheme has high efficiency since less quantum resource is required, some additional unitary operations and measurements are unnecessary. We point out that the existing two types of deterministic JRSP schemes based on GHZ states and EPR pairs are equivalent.

Recently, Huang and Zhao (Int. J. Theor. Phys. 56, 678, 2017) proposed a new scheme for controlled remote state preparation of an arbitrary two-qubit state by using two sets of three-qubit GHZ states as the quantum channel. In the scheme, Alice and Bob choose four different kinds of two-qubit projective measurement bases to measure their local qubits, respectively. We demonstrate that two sets of four-qubit GHZ states can be used to realize the deterministic controlled remote state preparation of an arbitrary two-qubit state by performing only two-qubit projective measurements.

We propose a novel scheme for remote state preparation of an arbitrary three-qubit state with unit success probability, utilizing a nine-qubit cluster-GHZ state without introducing auxiliary qubits. Furthermore, we proceed to investigate the effects of different quantum noises (e.g., amplitude-damping, phase-damping, bit-flip and phase-flip noises) on the systems. The fidelity results of three-qubit target state are presented, which are usually used to illustrate how close the output state is to the target state. To compare the different effects between the four common types of quantum noises, the fidelities under one specific identical target state are also calculated and discussed. It is found that the fidelity of the phase-flip noisy channel drops the fastest through the four types of noisy channels, while the fidelity is found to always maintain at 1 in bit-flip noisy channel.

The scheme for asymmetric and deterministic controlled bidirectional joint remote state preparation by using one ten-qubit entangled state as the quantum channel is proposed. In this scheme, Alice and David want to remotely prepare an arbitrary single-qubit state at Bob's site, at the same time, Bob and Eve wish to help Alice remotely prepare an arbitrary two-qubit entangled state. Alice and Bob can simultaneously prepare the desired states with the cooperation of David and Eve under the control of Charlie.

Using a quantum channel consisting of a GHZ state exposed to noisy environment, we investigate how to remotely prepare an entangled state and a qubit state, respectively. By solving the master equation in the Lindblad form, the influence of the various types of noises on the GHZ state is first discussed. Then we use the fidelity to describe how close the remotely prepared state and the initial state are. Our results show that the fidelity is a function of the decoherence rates and the angles of the initial state. It is found that for each of the two RSP schemes, the influence of the noise acting simultaneously in x, y, and z directions on the average fidelity is the strongest while the influence of the noise acting in x or z direction on the average fidelity is relatively weaker.

The scheme for joint remote state preparation of two different one-qubit states according to requirement is proposed by using one four-dimensional spatial-mode-entangled KLM state as quantum channel. The scheme for joint remote state preparation of two different two-qubit states according to requirement is also proposed by using one four-dimensional spatial-mode-entangled KLM state and one three-dimensional spatial-mode-entangled GHZ state as quantum channels. Quantum non-demolition measurement, Hadamard gate operation, projective measurement and unitary transformation are included in the schemes.

Utilizing a general joint remote state preparation (JRSP) model, we investigate the JRSP of an arbitrary two-qubit quantum state in noisy environments. Two important decoherence noise models, the amplitude-damping noise and the phase-damping noise, have been considered in our paper. Our investigation of the noisy environment mainly focuses on the process of distributing the channel state. We use fidelity to describe how close the output state with the prepared state are, and how much information has been lost in the transmission. Interestingly, studies show that, if the initial state is successfully prepared, the fidelities in these two cases will only depend on the amplitude parameter of the initial state and the decoherence noisy rate, but have nothing to do with the phase information. Finally, we make some discussions for these two cases to show that in which noisy environment more information will be lost.

Remote state preparation: arbitrary remote control of photon polarization
We experimentally demonstrate the first remote state preparation of arbitrary single-qubit states, encoded in the polarization of photons generated by spontaneous parametric down-conversion. Utilizing degenerate and nondegenerate wavelength entangled sources, we remotely prepare arbitrary states at two wavelengths. Further, we derive theoretical bounds on the states that may be remotely prepared for given two-qubit resources.

A scheme for the controlled joint remote preparation of an arbitrary six-qubit cluster-type state by using only two sets of five-qubit GHZ states as quantum channel is proposed. In our scheme, Alice firstly performs two sets of two-qubit projective measurement according to the real coefficients and the complex coefficients of the desired six-qubit cluster-type state. Then, the controller Charlie must apply another two-qubit projective measurement according to the Alice’s measurement result. Finally, Bob can obtain the desired six-qubit cluster-type state according to an appropriate unitary operation. Our scheme can achieve unit success probability.

In this paper, the theoretical investigation of remote preparation of an entangledstate is studied in nonideal conditions. Our studies include two parts. In the first part, we consider the remote state preparation (RSP) of an entangled state through two equally noisy quantum channel states, namely, a mixture of Bell states. Studies show there is a particular mixed-state channel for which all pure entangled states remain entangled after this inexact RSP. In the second part, we suppose that noises which quantum channels suffer from can be expressed as the Lindblad operators. The master equation of the system can be expressed in the Lindblad form. Through solving the master equation, we calculate the fidelity as a function of decoherence rates and parameters of the state to be prepared. For a given entangled state, we investigate the influence of different types of noises on the fidelity.

The previous protocols of remote quantum information concentration were focused on the reverse process of quantum telecloning of single-qubit states. We here investigate the reverse process of optimal universal 1→2 telecloning of arbitrary two-qubit states. The aim of this telecloning is to distribute respectively the quantum information to two groups of spatially separated receivers from a group of two senders situated at two different locations. Our scheme shows that the distributed quantum information can be remotely concentrated back to a group of two different receivers with 1 of probability by utilizing maximally four-particle cluster state and four-particle GHZ state as quantum channel.

We propose a scheme for controlled joint remote state preparation of an arbitrary equatorial two-qubit state by using a seven-qubit entangled state as the quantum channel. In this scheme, two senders wish to help a receiver to remotely prepare an arbitrary equatorial two-qubit state, and the receiver can obtain the original quantum state with 100% success probability by performing the appropriate unitary operations.

In this Letter, we put forward a new nontrivial three-step strategy for joint remote preparation of arbitrary two-qudit states (JRSP) in a deterministic manner from a spatially separated multi-sender to one receiver. The scheme is then extended to the arbitrary multi-qudit case. In our schemes, various partially entangled GHZ-like states with arbitrary complex parameters are used as the quantum channels. It overcomes state preparation failure leading to the loss of valuable quantum channel resource and ensures the prepared data available for the remote terminals under extreme conditions such as limited number of quantum channels and limited quantum information processing technologies.

In this paper, we propose a scheme to remotely prepare an arbitrary two-qubit state from one sender to either of two receivers. Two cases of the prepared quantum state, an arbitrary two-qubit state with real coefficients and complex coefficients, are considered. Firstly, one single EPR pair and a GHZ state are used as the quantum channel. Then the present scheme is extended to some partially entangled states as the quantum channel. To design these schemes, some useful and general measurement bases have been constructed. The successful probability and classical communication cost of these schemes are also calculated to weigh the efficiency and cost.

We propose two simple and resource-economical schemes for remote preparation of four-partite atomic as well as cavity field cluster states. In the case of atomic state generation,we utilize simultaneous resonant and dispersive interactions of the two two-level atoms at the preparation station.Atoms involved in these interactions are individually pair-wise entangled into two different tri-partite GHZ states. After interaction, the passage of the atoms through a Ramsey zone and their subsequent detection completes the protocol. However, for field state generation we first copy the quantum information in the cavities to the atoms by resonant interactions and then adapt the same method as in the case of atomic state generation. The method can be generalised to remotely generate any arbitrary graph states in a straightforward manner.

We propose two novel schemes for remotely preparing a four-qubit cluster-type entangled state (FCES) with complex coefficients by using four EPR pairs and two three-qubit GHZ states as the quantum channel, respectively. To complete the remote state preparation (RSP) schemes, several novel sets of four-and two-qubit measuring basis were introduced. In these schemes, after the sender performs two different projective measurements, the receiver should introduce two auxiliary qubits and employ suitable C-NOT gates on his qubits, the original state can be reconstructed with unit successful probability. Compared with the previous schemes for the RSP of a FCES, the advantage of the present schemes is that the entanglement resource can be reduced.
