The title complex [bis(dien)zinc(Ⅱ)] zinc(Ⅱ) tetrachloride was synthesized and characterized by X-ray single-crystal diffraction, elemental analysis, electric conductivity, IR and electronic spectra. The compound crystallizes in the tetragonal system, space group I(4) with a = 10.250(3), b = 10.250(3), c = 9.054(2)(A), V= 951.2(5) (A)3, Mr= 486.95, Z= 2, F(000) = 504, Dc = 1.700 g/cm3,,μ = 3.083 mm-1, ,λ= 0.71073(A), the final R = 0.0226 and wR = 0.0642. The symmetric crystal smucture consists of a zinc complex cation [Zn(dien)2]2 and a zinc tetrachloride anion [ZnCl4]2-, forming a three-dimensional framework through intramolecular and intermolecular hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The imidazolate-bridged binuclear copper(II)-copper(II) complex [(dien)Cu(mu-im)Cu(dien)](ClO(4))(3) and related mononuclear complexes [Cu(dien)(H(2)O)](ClO(4))(2), [Cu(dien)(Him)](ClO(4))(2) were synthesized with diethylenetriamine (dien) as capping ligand. The crystal structure of mononuclear [Cu(dien)(Him)](ClO(4))(2) and binuclear complex [(dien)Cu(mu-im)Cu(dien)](ClO(4))(3) have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction methods. The mononuclear complex [Cu(dien)(Him)](ClO(4))(2) crystallizes in the orthorhombic, Pca2(1) with a = 9.3420(9) A, b = 12.3750(9) A, c = 14.0830(9) A, beta = 90.000(7)(o) and Z = 4 and binuclear complex [(dien)Cu(mu-im)Cu(dien)](ClO(4))(3) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/a, with a = 15.017(7) A, b = 11.938(6) A, c = 15.386(6) A, beta = 110.30(4)(o) and Z = 4. The molecular structures show that copper(II) ions in an asymmetrically elongated octahedral coordination (type 4 + 1 + 1) and in binuclear complex Cu(1) atom has a asymmetrically elongated octahedral coordination (type type 4 + 1 + 1) and Cu(2) atom exhibits a square base pyramidal coordination (type 4 + 1). The bridging ligand (imidazolate ion, im) lies nearly on a straight line between two Cu(2+), which are separated by 5.812 A, slightly shorter than the value in copper-copper superoxide dismutase (Cu(2)-Cu(2)SOD). Magnetic measurements and electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy of the binuclear complex have shown an antiferromagnetic exchange interaction. From pH-dependent cyclic voltametry (CV) and electronic spectroscopic studies the complex has been found to be stable over a wide pH range (7.75-12.50).  相似文献

Novel selenidoantimonate compounds [M(dien)2]2Sb4Se9 [M = Mn (1), Fe (2)], [Co(dien)2]2Sb2Se6 (3), and [Ni(dien)2]2Sb2Se5 (4) (dien = diethylenetriamine) were solvothermally synthesized and characterized. The unique features of compounds 1-3 are the mixed-valent anionic structures constructed by the Sb(III)Se3 trigonal pyramid and Sb(V)Se4 tetrahedron. Three Sb(III)Se3 pyramids share common corners, forming a heterocyclic Sb3Se6 moiety, and the Sb3Se6 moieties are further connected with Sb(V)Se4 tetrahedra to form the novel one-dimensional [Sb4Se9(4-)]n anionic chain in 1 and 2. The discrete [Sb2Se6]4- anion in 3 is formed by an Sb(III)Se3 trigonal pyramid and an Sb(V)Se4 tetrahedron sharing a common corner. The [Sb2Se5]4- anion in 4 is composed of two Sb(III)Se3 trigonal pyramids connected in the same manner as the [Sb2Se6]4- anion. The mixed-valent [Sb4Se9(4-)]n and [Sb2Se6]4- anions were not observed before. The synthesis and solid-state structural studies of the title compounds show that the transition-metal complexes exhibit different structure-directing effects on the formation of selenidoantimonates in dien. Extensive N-H...Se hydrogen bonds are observed between cations and anions in compounds 1-4, resulting in three-dimensional network structures. Optical and thermal properties of the compounds are reported.  相似文献

Two nickel(II) complexes of formula (H(3)dien)(2)[Ni(2)(ox)(5)].12H(2)O (1) and [Ni(2)(dien)(2)(H(2)O)(2)(ox)]Cl(2) (2) (dien = diethylenetriamine and ox = oxalate dianion) have been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Abnn, with a = 15.386(4) ?, b = 15.710(4) ?, c = 17.071(4) ?, and Z = 4. 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/c, with a = 10.579(1) ?, b = 7.258(1) ?, c = 13.326(1) ?, beta = 93.52(3) degrees, and Z = 2. The structures of 1 and 2 consist of dinuclear oxalato-bridged nickel(II) units which contain bidentate oxalate (1) and tridentate dien in the fac-conformation (2) as terminal ligands. Both features, oxalato as a peripheral ligand and dien in the fac-conformation (instead of its usual mer-conformation), are unprecedented in the coordination chemistry of nickel(II). The nickel atom is six-coordinated in both compounds, the chromophores being NiO(6) (1) and NiN(3)O(3) (2). The Ni-O(ox) bond distances at the bridge (2.072(4) ? in 1 and 2.11(1) and 2.125(9) ? in 2) are somewhat longer than those concerning the terminal oxalate (2.037(5) and 2.035(3) ? in 1). Magnetic susceptibility data of 1 and 2 in the temperature range 4.2-300 K show the occurrence of intramolecular antiferromagnetic coupling with J = -22.8 (1) and -28.8 (2) cm(-)(1) (J being the parameter of the exchange Hamiltonian H = -JS(A).S(B)). The observed value of -J in the investigated oxalato-bridged nickel(II) complexes, which can vary from 22 to 39 cm(-)(1), is strongly dependent on the nature of the donor atoms from the peripheral ligands. This influence has been analyzed and rationalized through extended Hückel calculations.  相似文献

A new metal-organic coordination complex [Zn(H2BPTC)(phen)2]n·3nH2O (BPTC = 3,3′,4,4′-benzophenone tetracarboxylate, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) 1 has been obtained from hydrothermal reaction and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, TG and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. In compound 1, the zinc cation is hexa-coordinated with two carboxylate oxygen atoms from one H2BPTC ligand and four nitrogen atoms from two different phen ligands, showing a slightly distorted octahedral geometry. Crystal data: C41H30N4O12Zn, Mr = 836.06, monoclinic, P21/c, a = 14.2714(9), b = 16.9386(10), c = 15.0151(9) , β = 101.3420(10)o, V = 3558.8(4) 3, Dc = 1.560 g/cm3, μ(MoKα) = 0.766 mm-1, F(000) = 1720, Z = 4, R = 0.0439 and wR = 0.1157 for 4123 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I).  相似文献

A new copper(II) compound with imino nitroxide radicals [Cu(IM-MeImz)2]?(SCN)2 (IM-meImz =2-(5-methylimidazol-4-yl)-4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-2-imidazoline-1-oxyl) has been synthesized and characterized structurally and magnetically. It crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 9.3604(7), b = 10.3012(7), c = 16.6684(12) , β = 105.0290(10)o, V = 1552.25(19) 3, C24H34CuN10O2S2, Mr = 622.27, Z = 2, Dc = 1.331 g/cm3, μ(MoKα) = 0.876 mm-1, F(000) = 650, the final R = 0.0374 and wR = 0.1079. X-ray analysis demonstrates that the IM-MeImz ligand is coordinated to the copper(II) ion as an unusual didentate chelate with a κ2 N(MeImz),O(IM) mode in the complex. The square-planar coordination sites at Cu(II) are occupied by two O and two N atoms from the imino nitroxide radicals. The complex molecules are connected as a onedimensional polymer structure by intermolecular interactions. Magnetic measurements show that there are intramolecular antiferromagnetic interactions between the Cu(II) ion and radicals.  相似文献

A novel one-dimensional chain-like coordination polymer constructed from 3-nitro- benzene-1,2-dicarboxylic acid, [Cd2(C8H3NO6)2(H2O)4]n·2nH2O, has been synthesized and its structure was determined by X-ray crystallography method. The crystal belongs to monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 6.1252(8), b = 20.706(3), c = 8.8067(11) , β = 95.608(2)°, V = 1111.6(2) 3, Mr = 751.12, Dc = 2.244 g/cm3, F(000) = 736, μ = 2.011 mm-1, Z = 2, the final R = 0.0262 and wR = 0.0692 for 2338 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). The structure of the title compound presents a 1-D chain-like structure constructed by dimer units, [Cd2(C8H3NO6)2(H2O)4]n, through two carboxylate oxygen atoms. The fluorescence of the title compound has been also discussed in this paper.  相似文献

Formate is an inhibitor of cytochrome oxidases and also effects conversion of the bovine heart enzyme from the "fast" to the "slow" cyanide-binding form. The molecular basis of these effects is unknown; one possibility is that formate inserts as a bridge into the binuclear heme a(3)-Cu(B) site, impeding the binding of dioxygen or cyanide. Consequently, Fe-Cu-carboxylate interactions are a matter of current interest. We have initiated an examination of such interactions by the synthesis of the first examples of [Fe(III)-(&mgr;(2):eta(2)-RCO(2))-Cu(II)] bridges, minimally represented by Fe(III)-L + Cu(II)-O(2)CR --> [Fe(III)-(RCO(2))-Cu(II)] + L. A series of Cu(II) precursor complexes and solvate forms have been prepared and their structures determined, including [Cu(Me(5)dien)(O(2)CH)](+) (3), [Cu(Me(5)dien)(O(2)CH)(MeOH)](+) (4), [Cu(Me(6)tren)(O(2)CH)](+) (5), and [Cu(Me(5)dien)(OAc)](+) (6). [4](ClO(4)) was obtained in monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 8.166(3) ?, b = 15.119(5) ?, c = 15.070(4) ?, beta = 104.65(2) degrees, and Z = 4. [5](ClO(4))/[6](ClO(4)) crystallize in orthorhombic space groups Pnma/Pna2(1) with a = 16.788(2)/14.928(5) ?, b = 9.542(1)/9.341(4) ?, c = 12.911(1)/12.554(4) ?, and Z = 4/4. In all cases, the carboxylate ligand is terminal and is bound in a syn orientation. Also prepared for the purpose of structural comparison was [Fe(OEP)(O(2)CH)], which occurred in monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 13.342(2) ?, b = 13.621(2) ?, c = 19.333(2) ?, beta = 106.12(2) degrees, and Z = 4. The desired bridges were stabilized in the assemblies [(OEP)Fe(O(2)CH)Cu(Me(5)dien)(OClO(3))](+) (9), [(OEP)Fe(OAc)Cu(Me(5)dien)](2+) (10), and {(OEP)Fe[(O(2)CH)Cu(Me(6)tren)](2)}(3+) (11), which were prepared by the reaction of 3, 6, and 5, respectively, with [Fe(OEP)(OClO(3))] in acetone or dichloromethane. [9](ClO(4))/[10](ClO(4))(2).CH(2)Cl(2) crystallize in triclinic space group P&onemacr; with a = 9.016(3)/13.777(3) ?, b = 15.377(5)/13.847(3) ?, c = 19.253(5)/17.608(4) ?, alpha = 78.12(3)/96.82(3) degrees, beta = 86.30(4)/108.06(3) degrees, gamma = 76.23(3)/114.32(3) degrees, and Z = 2/2. Each assembly contains a [Fe(III)-(RCO(2))-Cu(II)] bridge but with the differing orientations anti-anti (9) and syn-anti (10, 11). The compound [11](ClO(4))(2)(SbF(6)) occurs in orthorhombic space group Pbcn with a = 12.517(6) ?, b = 29.45(1) ?, c = 21.569(8) ?, and Z = 4. Complex 11 is trinuclear; the Fe(III) site has two axial formate ligands with bond distances indicative of a high-spin configuration. Structural features of 9-11 are discussed and are considered in relation to the possible insertion of formate into the binuclear sites of two oxidases whose structures were recently determined. The present results contribute to the series of molecular assemblies with the bridge groups [Fe(III)-X-Cu(II)], X = O(2)(-), OH(-), and RCO(2)(-), all with a common high-spin heme, thereby allowing an examination of electronic structure as dependent on the bridging atom or group and bridge structure. Three new centrosymmetric trinuclear nickel(II) and manganese(II) complexes, Ni[Ni(CH(3)COO)(CPA)](2) (1), Ni[Ni(CH(3)COO)(BPA)](2) (2), Mn[Mn(CH(3)COO)(BPA)](2) (3), where H(2)CPA = N,N'-bis(5-chlorosalicylidene)-1,3-propanediamine, H(2)BPA = N,N'-bis(5-bromosalicylidene)-1,3-propanediamine, and two new centrosymmetric dinuclear zinc(II) complexes, [Zn(2)(CMP)(2)] (4) and [Zn(2)(BMP)(2)] (5), where H(2)CMP = 4-chloro-2-{[3-(5-chloro-2-hydroxybenzyl)aminopropylimino]methyl}phenol, and H(2)BMP = 4-bromo-2-{[3-(5-bromo-2-hydroxybenzyl)aminopropylimino]methyl}phenol, have been prepared from the Schiff bases derived from 5-halido-substituted salicylaldehydes with N-hexylpropane-1,3-diamine under solvothermal conditions. The complexes have been characterised by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The complexes 1, 2, and 3 crystallise in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with cell dimensions a = 9.347(1), b = 11.507(2), c = 18.539(2) ?, β = 93.774(2)°, Z = 2 (for 1), a = 9.111(4), b = 12.089(6), c = 18.724(8) ?, β = 92.117(7)°, Z = 2 (for 2), and a = 11.328(2), b = 22.468(5), c = 8.270(2) ?, β = 93.74(3)°, Z = 2 (for 3), while complexes 4 and 5 crystallise in the triclinic space group P1, with cell dimensions a = 7.483(1), b = 9.990(2), c = 12.155(2) ?, α = 75.27(3), β = 85.00(3), γ = 73.82(3)°, Z = 1 (for 4), and a = 7.008(1), b = 10.081(2), c = 13.095(3) ?, α = 100.62(3), β = 95.51(3), γ = 104.03(3)°, Z = 1 (for 5). It is interesting that the mono-Schiff bases 4-chloro-2-[(3-cyclohexylaminopropylimino)methyl]phenol (HCCP) and 4-bromo-2-[(3-cyclohexylaminopropylimino)methyl]phenol (HBCP) used to prepare the nickel(II) and manganese(II) complexes were transferred to bis-Schiff bases H(2)CPA and H(2)BPA in the complexes 1, 2, and 3, while the mono-Schiff bases HCCP and HBCP used to prepare the zinc(II) complexes were transferred to novel ligands H(2)CMP and H(2)BMP, bearing the unexpected, newly formed carbon-nitrogen single bond.  相似文献

To provide precedents for the possible interactions of platinum DNA adducts with zinc finger proteins, the complexes [Pt(dien)Cl]Cl (dien = diethylenetriamine) and [Pt(terpy)Cl]Cl (terpy = 2,2':6',2'-terpyridine) were exposed to the N,N'-bis(2-mercaptoethyl)-1,4-diazacycloheptanezinc(II) dimer, [Zn(bme-dach)]2, and the products defined by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS), X-ray crystallography and (195)Pt NMR spectroscopy. The presence of a leaving chloride in both platinum(II) complexes facilitates electrophilic substitution involving sulfur-containing zinc finger synthetic models or, as in previous studies, zinc finger peptidic sequences. Monitored via ESI-MS, both reactants yielded evidence for Zn-(mu-SR)-Pt bridges followed by zinc ejection from the N2S2 coordination sphere and subsequent formation of a trimetallic Zn-(mu-SR)2-Pt-(mu-SR)2-Zn-bridged species. The isolation of Zn-(mu-SR)-Pt-bridged species [(Zn(bme-dach)Cl)(Pt(dien))]Cl is, to our knowledge, the first Zn-Pt bimetallic thiolate-bridged model demonstrating the interaction between Zn-bound thiolates and Pt(2+). In the case of the [Pt(terpy)Cl]Cl reaction with the [Zn(bme-dach)]2, ESI-MS analysis further suggests metal exchange by formation of [Zn(terpy)Cl](+), whereas the [Pt(dien)Cl]Cl reaction does not yield the corresponding [Zn(dien)Cl](+) ion. Direct synthesis of the Zn-Pt thiolate-bridged species and the Pt(N2S2) chelate, where Pt has displaced the Zn from the chelate core, permitted the isolation of X-ray-quality crystals to confirm the bridging and metal-exchanged structures. The ESI-MS, (195)Pt NMR spectroscopy, and molecular structures of the di- and trinuclear complexes will be discussed, as they provide insight into the metal-exchange mechanism.  相似文献

1,3-Dimethyluracil (1,3-DimeU) reacts with trans-[(CH(3)NH(2))(2)Pt(H(2)O)(2)](+) to give trans-[(CH(3)NH(2))(2)Pt(1,3-DimeU-C5)(H(2)O)]X (X = NO(3)(-), 1a, ClO(4)(-), 1b) and subsequently with NaCl to give trans-(CH(3)NH(2))(2)Pt(1,3-DimeU-C5)Cl (2) or with NH(3) to yield trans-[(CH(3)NH(2))(2)Pt(1,3-DimeU-C5)(NH(3))]ClO(4) (3). In a similar way, (dien)Pt(II) forms [dienPt(1,3-DimeU-C5)](+) (4). Reactions leading to formation of 1 and 4 are slow, taking days. In contrast, Hg(CH(3)COO)(2) reacts fast with 1,3-DimeU to give (1,3-DimeU-C5)Hg(CH(3)COO) (5). Both 1-methyluracil (1-MeUH) and uridine (urdH) react with (dien)Pt(II) initially at N(3) and subsequently with either (dien)Pt(II) or Hg(CH(3)COO)(2) also at C(5) to give the diplatinated species 7 and 9 or the mixed PtHg complex 8. C(5) binding of either Pt(II) or Hg(II) is evident from coupling of uracil-H(6) with either (195)Pt or (199)Hg nuclei and (3)J values of 47-74 Hz (for Pt compounds) and 185-197 Hz (for Hg compounds). J values of Pt compounds are influenced both by the ligands trans to the uracil C(5) position and by the number of metal entities bound to a uracil ring. Both 2 and 5 were X-ray structurally characterized. 2: monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/c, a = 15.736(6) ?, b = 11.481(6) ?, c = 25.655 (10) ?, beta = 145.55(3) degrees, V = 2621.9(28) ?(3), Z = 4. 5: monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/c, a = 4.905(2) ?, b = 18.451(6) ?, c = 11.801(5) ?, beta = 94.47(3) degrees, V = 1064.77(72) ?(3), Z = 4.  相似文献

A new mixed valence copper complex Cu(II)(Me(5)dien)Cl(2)(Cu(I)Cl) (2) was obtained from the reaction of CuCl with Cu(II)(Me(5)dien)Cl(2) (1) in acetonitrile. The structures of 1 and 2 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 8.374(5) ?, b = 17.155(3) ?, c = 23.806(5) ?, beta = 94.40(4) degrees, Z = 8, and V = 3398(1) ?(3) while compound 2 crystallizes in orthorhombic space group Pbcn with a = 14.71(1) ?, b = 16.06(2) ?, c = 13.38(1) ?, Z = 8, and V = 3159(5) ?. The Cu(II)(Me(5)dien)Cl(2) unit in both compounds has a similar distorted square-pyramidal geometry. The Cu(I)Cl moiety in 2 is attached to the Cu(II) unit via two bridging chlorine atoms and has a distorted trigonal planar geometry. UV-vis and EPR spectroscopic studies and molecular orbital calculations established the presence of significant perturbation of the Cu(I)Cl unit to the electronic structure of the Cu(II) ion in compound 2.  相似文献

The oxidative addition of the salt [{SC(NMe(2))(2)}(2)]Cl(2).2H(2)O (1), the disulfide-like dimerized form of 1,1,3,3-tetramethylthiourea (tmtu), to Pt(II) chloro am(m)ine compounds is described. Oxidation of the [PtCl(3)(NH(3))](-) anion with 1 in methanol yields cis-[PtCl(4)(NH(3))L] (2; L = tmtu) as the result of the trans addition of one tmtu and one chloro ligand. The same mode of oxidation is found in reactions of 1 with [PtCl(dien)](+) (dien = diethylenetriamine) and trans-[PtCl(2)(NH(3))(2)]. In these cases, however, the oxidation is followed by (light-independent) cis,trans isomerizations, giving trans,mer-[PtCl(2)(dien)L]Cl(2) (4) and fac-[PtCl(3)(NH(3))(2)L]Cl.0.5MeOH (6), respectively. The single-crystal X-ray structures of 2 and trans,mer-[PtCl(2)(dien)L](BF(4))(2) (4a) have been determined. 2: monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n, a = 6.280(1) ?, b = 13.221(3) ?, c = 16.575(2) ?, beta = 96.45(1) degrees, Z = 4. 4a: monoclinic, space group C2/m, a = 21.093(5) ?, b = 8.9411(9) ?, c = 14.208(2) ?, beta = 124.65(2) degrees, Z = 4. The tmtu ligands are S-bound. In 2 a pronounced trans influence of the S-donor ligand on the Pt-Cl bond (2.370(1) ?) trans to sulfur is observed. The unusual acidity of the Pt(IV) complexes exhibiting tmtu coordination trans to chloride is attributed to hydrolysis of the labilized Pt-Cl(trans) bond, which is supported by ion sensitive electrode measurements. An upfield shift of the (195)Pt resonances is found on changing the ligand combination from NCl(4)S (2) to N(3)Cl(2)S (4). This order correlates with the trans influences of the ligands: tmtu > am(m)ine > chloride. The cytotoxicity of 2 and 6 in L1210 cell lines is reported and discussed in terms of a possible mechanism of action of the compounds invivo. It is suggested that tmtu may act as a lipophilic carrier ligand and therefore enhance the cellular uptake of the new potential Pt(IV) drugs.  相似文献

The reactions of zinc(II) acetate with a variety of 2-substituted benzothiazolines afforded tetrahedral mononuclear complexes with a N 2S 2 donor set, [Zn(RPhC(H) NC 6H 4 S) 2]. The obtained zinc(II) complexes can be divided into three groups based on the characteristics of the absorption spectra; Group 1 (R = 2,4,6-triMe ( 1), 2,6-diCl ( 2)) showing an intense band at 250-300 nm and a weak band at 400-450 nm, Group 2 (R = 4-Cl ( 3), H ( 4), 4-Et ( 5), 4-OMe ( 6)) showing two intense bands at 250-300 nm and a weak band at 400-450 nm, and Group 3 (R = 4-NMe 2 ( 7), 4-NEt 2 ( 8)) showing an intense band at 250-300 nm and two very intense bands at 350-450 nm. The Group 2 and Group 3 complexes exhibited a strong emission on irradiating with ultraviolet light while the Group 1 complexes were not emissive at room temperature. However, all the zinc(II) complexes were luminescent in CH 2Cl 2/toluene glass at 77 K, and their emission peak energies were found to correlate with the Hammett constant of the substituent at para position of a pendent phenyl ring in each complex. Similar reactions of cadmium(II) acetate with 2-substituted benzothiazolines were also carried out to synthesize corresponding cadmium(II) complexes. While [Cd(RPhC(H) NC 6H 4 S) 2] (R = 2,4,6-triMe ( 9)) with bulky substituents at ortho positions of a pendent phenyl ring had a tetrahedral mononuclear structure, other cadmium(II) complexes [Cd 2(RPhC(H) NC 6H 4 S) 4] (R = 4-Et ( 10), 4-OMe ( 11), 4-NMe 2 ( 12)) possessed S-bridged dinuclear structures. These cadmium(II) complexes, which are assumed to have a mononuclear structure in solution, showed photophysical properties similar to those of the corresponding zinc(II) complexes.  相似文献
