The invariant differential cross section, the tensor analyzing power A yy , and the vector analyzing power A y for the reaction 9Be(d, p)X are measured at an initial deuteron momentum of 4.5 GeV/c and a proton detection angle of about 80 mrad. The data obtained for the differential cross section are consistent with the results of measurements at 3.5 and 5.78 GeV/c and a proton emission angle of 2.5°. The values found for the tensor analyzing power A yy are compared with similar data obtained previously for the deuteron-fragmentation process occurring on a carbon target at various values of the initial deuteron momentum and leading to proton emission at zero angle. The data on the differential cross section for the reaction 9Be(d, p)X can be satisfactorily described within the relativistic impulse approximation by using standard deuteron wave functions; however, the approach based on this conceptual framework proves to be inadequate in dealing with data on the tensor analyzing power. These results indicate that it is necessary either to change the method for describing the relativistic deuteron or to take into account additional mechanisms.  相似文献

Experimental results on the vector (A y ) and tensor (A yy ) analyzing powers in the fragmentation of 5- and 9-GeV/c polarized deuterons to high-momentum pions in the kinematical region corresponding to pion production on a strongly correlated nucleon pair (cumulative meson production) are presented. The angular and momentum dependences of A yy are not described by calculations performed in the impulse approximation by using standard deuteron wave functions. An explanation for our data should be sought on the basis of models that treat the deuteron at short distances (deuteron-core region) as a multiquark state—for example, a 6q cluster, whose high orbital angular momentum (D wave) leads to the observed strong dependence of the reaction tensor analyzing power A( $\vec d$ , π)X on the pion transverse momentum.  相似文献

The results on the vector A y and tensor A yy , A xx and A xz analyzing powers of the $\vec dd \to {}^3Hen$ and $\vec dd \to {}^3Hp$ reactions obtained at intermediate energies at RARF(RIKEN, Japan) are presented. The high precision experimental data are compared with the theoretical calculation within the one nucleon exchange model by using standard 3He, 3H and deuteron wave functions. The data demonstrate the sensitivity to the short-range 3He, 3H and deuteron spin structure.  相似文献

A nonrelativistic deuteron wave function involving the D-wave state and having a correct asymptotic behavior is constructed on the basis of the experimentally measured deuteron charge form factor G C(q) and deuteron structure function A(q). The differential cross section for elastic deuteron-nucleus scattering is calculated by using this wave function and is found to agree with experimental data at an energy of 110 MeV. Integrated cross sections for various processes involving deuteron-nucleus interactions are also calculated. The distribution in the emission angle of the center of mass of the neutron-proton system produced in the diffractive dissociation of 110-MeV deuterons in the field of 208Pb nuclei is obtained.  相似文献

A calculation of the deuteron polarization observables A y d , A yy , A xx , A xz and the differential cross section for elastic nucleon-deuteron scattering at incident deuteron energies 270 and 880 MeV in lab is presented. A comparison of the calculations with two different deuteron wave functions derived from the Bonn-CD NN-potential model and the dressed-quark-bag model is carried out. A model-independent approach, based on an optical-potential framework, is used in which a nucleon-nucleon T matrix is assumed to be local and taken on the energy shell, but still depends on the internal nucleon momentum in a deuteron. The deuteron-proton elastic scattering has been studied in the multiple-scattering expansion formalism. Primary attention has been given to such relativistic problems as a deuteron wave function in a moving frame and transformation of spin states due to Wigner rotation. Parametrization of the nucleon—nucleon t matrix has been used to take the off-energy-shell effects into account. The vector, A y , and tensor, A yy , analyzing powers of the deuteron have been calculated at two deuteron kinetic energies: 395 and 1200 MeV. Precise and large sets of cross section, vector A x A y and tensor A xx A xy A yy analyzing power data for the 1 H(d, pp)n breakup reactions were measured at 100 and 130 MeV deuteron beam energies with the SALAD and BINA detectors at KVI and the Germanium Wall setup at FZ-Jülich. Results are compared with various theoretical approaches which model the three-nucleon system dynamics. The cross section data reveal a sizable three-nucleon force (3NF) and Coulomb force influence. In case of the analyzing powers very low sensitivity to these effects was found and the data are well describe by 2N models only. For A xy at 130 MeV, serious disagreements were observed when 3NF models are included in the calculations.  相似文献

The data on the tensor Ayy, Axx, Axz and vector Ay analyzing powers in the dd → ^3Hen obtained at T d = 270 MeV in the angular range 0° - 110° in the c.m. are presented. The observed negative sign of the tensor analyzing powers Ayy, Axx and Axz at small angles clearly demonstrate the sensitivity to the ratio of the D - and S -wave component of the 3He wave function. However, the one-nucleon exchange calculations by using the standard 3He wave functions have failed to reproduce the strong variation of the tensor analyzing powers as a function of the angle in the c.m.  相似文献

Tensor A yy and vector A y analyzing powers in the inelastic scattering of deuterons with a momentum of 5.0 GeV/c on beryllium at an angle of 178 mrad in the vicinity of the excitation of baryonic resonances with masses up to ~ 1.8 GeV/c 2 have been measured. The A yy data are in good agreement with the previous data obtained at 4.5 and 5.5 GeV/c. The tensor Ayy and vector Ay analyzing powers in the inelastic scattering of deuterons with a momentum of 4.5 GeV/c on beryllium at an angle of 80 mr in the vicinity of baryonic resonances excitation have been measured. The differential cross section and the vector and tensor analyzing powers Ay, Axx, Ayy and Axz were measured for the d-4He elastic scattering at 56 MeV. The measurement of Axz was performed using a deuteron beam polarized in the horizontal plane. An optical-model analysis of the experimental data was carried out. The magnitude of the tensor analyzing powers could not be reproduced without the tensor potential. By including the TR type tensor potential, the optical-model calculations give a reasonable reproduction of the experimental data at θc.m. < 120°. The obtained TR tensor potential was much stronger than that predicted by the folding model. The strength of the real TR potential was roughly in accordance with that obtained from the optical-model analysis of d-4He elastic scattering at 20.2 MeV.  相似文献

The Reid93 potential provides a representation of the nucleon–nucleon (NN) scattering data that rivals that of a partial wave analysis. We present here a unitary pole approximation (UPA) for this contemporary NN potential that provides a rank one separable potential for which the wave function of the deuteron (3S1-3D1) and singlet anti-bound (1S0) state are exactly those of the original potential. Our motivation is to use this UPA potential to investigate the sensitivity of the electric dipole moment for the deuteron and 3H and 3He to the ground state nuclear wave function. We compare the Reid93 results with those for the original Reid (Reid68) potential to illustrate the accuracy of the bound state properties.  相似文献

A search for vector analysing power Ay = 1 and tensor analysing power Ayy = 1 values of the 6Li(d, α)4He reaction in the energy region between 5.0 and 6.5 MeV as well as between 8.0 and 10.0 MeV was performed experimentally. Two Ayy maxima which are compatible with unity were found. No Ay = 1 point could be detected. The precise energies and angles for the maxima were determined by interpolation of the experimental data.  相似文献

The neutron-proton spin correlation coefficient Ayy was measured at 90° c.m. by elastic scattering of 13.7 MeV polarized neutrons from a polarized proton target. The target polarization of about 60% was produced in a LMN single crystal by dynamic nuclear orientation using 70 GHz microwaves. The target was thin enough to allow the detection of the recoil protons in coincidence with the associated scattered neutrons. Our result for Ayy is the first experimental determination of a neutron-proton spin correlation parameter at such a low energy. To determine the influence of Ayy on the 3S1-3D1 mixing parameter ε1, a single-energy n-p phase shift analysis was performed using the experimentally determined value of Ayy= 0.078 ± 0.014 along with analyzing power and cross section data. As expected, the result for ε1 changes drastically upon the inclusion of Ayy. An unexpectedly small value of ε1 = −0.16°±0.54° has been obtained in the present analysis.  相似文献
