The spectrum of Bi VI in a wavelength region of 177–431 Å was studied. The transitions from the levels of the interacting configurations 5d 86s6p+5d 97p+5d 95f+5d 96f to the levels of the 5d 10 and 5d 96s configurations were analyzed. 174 spectral lines were identified, and 79 new levels of high-lying odd configurations of Bi VI were found.  相似文献

The hyperfine structure and the Stark effect shift of the 4d5s5p z 2 F 5/2 states in the Y I spectrum were investigated by level-crossing technique. Between the Zeeman effect region and the Paschen-Back region of hyperfine structure states some of the levels cross. The resonance radiation of these coherently excited levels show an interference effect of the scattering amplitudes in the crossing region. The level-crossing signals give information about hfs splitting and lifetime of the excited states under investigation. The magnetic hfs splitting factorsA of the 4d5s5p z 2 F 5/2, 7/2 states and their lifetimes were deduced. $$\begin{gathered} |A (z^2 F_{5/2} )| = (23.8 \pm 0.04) MHz \frac{{g_J }}{{0.854}} \hfill \\ |A (z^2 F_{7/2} )| = (84.08 \pm 0.01) MHz \frac{{g_J }}{{1.148}} \hfill \\ \tau (z^2 F_{5/2} ) = (46 \pm 3) 10^{ - 9} s \frac{{0.854}}{{g_J }} \hfill \\ \tau (z^2 F_{7/2} ) = (44 \pm 4) 10^{ - 9} s \frac{{1.148}}{{g_J }}. \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$ With an electric field parallel to the magnetic field a shift of the level-crossing signals of the 4d5s5p z 2 F 5/2, 7/2 states was observed, and the Stark constants β were deduced. $$\begin{gathered} |\beta (z^2 F_{5/2} )| = (0.0020 \pm 0.0002) MHz/(kV/cm)^2 \hfill \\ |\beta (z^2 F_{7/2} )| = (0.0025 \pm 0.0015) MHz/(kV/cm)^2 . \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$   相似文献

The hyperfine structure of the transition Ag I, 4d 9 5s 22 D 3/2-4d 105p 2 P 1/2, λ=19,372 Å has been investigated by means of a photoelectrically recording Fabry-Pérot interferometer using separated isotopes. Evaluating the hfs-pattern by a digital analysis the following values for the magnetic dipole interaction constants have been obtained: $$A_{3/2}^{(109)} (d^9 5s^2 ) = - 12.11(6)mK; A_{1/2}^{(109)} (d^{10} 5p) = - 6.72(10)mK.$$ Using the knownA-factor of the other level of the configurationd 9 s 2 and the values of the Ms anomalies of the levelsd 9 s 22 D 5/2 andd 10 s 2 S 1/2 together with our result, the influence of the core polarization on theA-factors of the configurationd 9 s 2 is discussed. Assuming that the used relativistic correction factors are correct, the influence of the core polarization cannot be due only to the unpaireds-electrons of the core, but must be described by the three-parameter hfs-Hamiltonian given by Harvey. Consequences for calculating the quadrupole moments from hfs data are mentioned.  相似文献

The excitation functions of Cd(II) spectral lines, namely, the lines of the 4d 105s 2 S 1/2?4d 10 np 2 P 3 2/0 (n≤10) principal series and the line corresponding to a transition from the Beitler level 4d 9(5s5p 1 P 0)2 P 3 2/0 , are analyzed under the conditions of electron-cadmium atom collisions in the electron energy range from excitation thresholds to 400 eV. It is found that the excitation functions of the spectral lines attributed to transitions from the Beitler level are similar to those of the principal series lines corresponding to transitions from the 4d 10 np 2 P 3 2/0 (n=9, 10) levels nearest to the Beitler level. This similarity is explained by the significant admixing of the Beitler level to the initial levels of the principal series lines. It is shown that the admixing substantially affects the excitation functions of this series for the states more distant from the Beitler level (up to n=6).  相似文献

The magnetic-dipole hyperfine interaction constantsA of low-lying metastable atomic levels in91Zr,181Ta,183W, and191Ir determined from atomic-beam magnetic-resonance investigations are analyzed with respect to the effective-operator formalism. Similar results for other 4d- and 5d-shell atoms are also tabulated. The experimental results for the effective 〈r ?3〉 values are compared with relativistic predictions for the 4d N 5s and 5d N 6s 2 series.  相似文献

Radiative lifetimes for the 4d94f, 4d95p, 4d95d, and 4d96s levels in the spectra of palladium-like ions Pr XIV and Nd XV are calculated in the electric-dipole approximation by the intermediate coupling semiempirical method with the use of experimental energy levels available in the literature. The radial integrals of transitions necessary for calculating absolute values of transition probabilities are obtained in the length form with Hartree–Fock functions.  相似文献

The hyperfine structure of the ground configurations 5d 8 6s 2 and 5d 9 6s of the stable Platin isotopes 194, 195, 196, 198 was analyzed. For the isotope 195 a complete set of the magnetic splitting constantsA is given. TheA constants of the levels 5d 8 6s 2 3 P 1 and1 D 2 were determined for the first time. From these data the electronic splitting constants a6 s=l010(10) mK, ad 3/2=57 (6) and ad 5/2=27 (2) mK could be evaluated. The effect of core polarization is discussed and a fieldκ cp=?5.6(1.0) a.u. per 5d-electron spin is found. Also the isotopic shift is determined and for the mean quadratic nuclear charge radius the valueΒδ <r 2>=0.095 (10) fm2 is derived.  相似文献

Radiative lifetimes of 7 levels in the Cu(I) 3d9 4s4p configuration have been measured using a delayed coincidence technique; copper vapor was excited in an argon buffer gas and cross sections for collisional destruction of copper levels by argon were also obtained. Transition probabilities of the lines originating from these levels have been determined using the measured lifetimes and branching ratios.  相似文献

The level-crossing technique with parallel electric and magnetic fields was used to measure the tensor polarizabilities of six levels of the configuration 4f 13 6s6p + 4f 12 5d6s 2 in the Tm I-spectrum. Using intermediate coupling wave functions given by Camus and the experimental values of the tensor polarizabilities, the radial integrals for electric dipole transitions from levels of the configuration 4f 136s6p + 4f 125d6s 2 to levels of the configuration 4f 13 5d6s + 4f 12 6s 26p have been determined. The results areI(4f 136s6p,4f 135d6s)=1.98(45)ea 0 andI(4f 125d6s 2,4f 126s 26p) = 0.88(25)ea 0. A comparison between the experimental and the calculated values of the tensor polarizabilities shows an excellent agreement, provided that these radial integrals and the radial integrals for the electric dipole transitions to the ground state configuration 4f 136s 2 as determined by Wallenstein from lifetime measurements are used in the calculation, instead of radial integrals computed by Camus with Hartree-Fock wave functions.  相似文献

The isotope shift in the spark spectrum of dysprosium was studied by means of a photoelectric recording Fabry-Perot spectrometer with digital data output. For 29 lines the isotope shift of162Dy and164Dy was measured in order to check the mixing of the three configurations 4f 95d6s, 4f 95d 2, and 4f 106p calculated by Wyart. By means of the sharing rule the configuration mixing could be confirmed as a whole. In the ground state configuration the influence of relativistic effects was demonstrated and explained by theory. The order of magnitude of crossed-second-order effects contributing to the isotope shift of 4f 106s6 I and4 I could be estimated. In three lines the isotope shift of all stable Dy isotopes was measured. Mass shift and field shift were separated by comparison with results obtained in the arc spectrum.  相似文献

The excitation of transitions terminating at the 4f 12(3 H)5d6s 2(6,3/2) levels of the thulium atom are studied experimentally. Seventy-five cross sections of the TmI spectral lines are measured at an excitation electron energy of 50 eV. The spectrum of platinum is studied in the region from 250 to 1250 Å. The twenty-two 5d6s-5d6p spectral lines of the PtIX are assigned. All levels of the 5d6s configuration are found. The assignment of the previously known 5d6p levels is confirmed and their positions are refined. The 5d 2, 5d6s, and 5d6p configurations are theoretically described by the method of orthogonal operators. These calculations are compared with the data obtained by a conventional method using the Cowan program.  相似文献

Measurements of the hyperfine structures in the 6p5d 1 D 2,3 D 1 and3 F 2, 3, 4 states of135Ba and137Ba, and isotope-shifts in several far-red transitions between the 6s 5d and 6p 5d configurations, as well as the transition 6s 2 1 S 0→6s6p 3 P 1 at 7,911 Å have been performed using high-resolution laser spectroscopy on a collimated atomic beam of natural barium. An analysis of the magnetic-dipole interaction in the 6p 5d configuration using effective one- and two-body hyperfine operators is presented. In particular the contact interaction was studied with respect to the correlation between the two valence electrons. Effects of strong configuration interaction were found. From a King-plot analysis of the isotope shift term- andJ-dependence of the field shift have been evaluated for the transitions between the 6s 5d and 6p 5d configurations. Relativistic Hartree-Fock (RHF) calculations have been performed of electron densities at the nucleus for six different configurations in Ba I and Ba II. The RHF calculations reproduce the experimental King-plot slopes quite well, while the absolute values, of the changes in electron density at the nucleus for the studied transitions, are found to be 9% lower than the results derived from a muonic experiment.  相似文献

Quasi-cw operation of three laser lines (λ = 650.1 nm, 521.0 nm, 479.7 nm) has been achieved in a pure mercury, low pressure discharge. These lines belong to the Hg-III 5d86s2-5d96p transitions. An output power of 40 W at 650.1 nm, 25 W at 479.7 nm and 5 W at 521.0 nm was observed.  相似文献

The spectrum of the Zn-like Kr VII ion, excited in a capillary discharge and recorded with a high resolution in the wavelength range of 300–1000 Å, was studied. Previously performed identification of the transitions from the levels of the 4s4f, 4s5s, 4s5p, and 4s5d configurations is confirmed and extended, and the energies of these levels are specified. The (4p 2+4s4d)?4p4d and (4p 2+4s5s)?4p5s transitions are identified for the first time, and the energies of all the levels of the 4p4d and 4p5s configurations are determined. The results of the analysis performed are confirmed by semiempirical calculations in terms of the Hartree-Fock method. These results are also shown to conform to the experimental data obtained for lighter ions of the Zn I isoelectronic sequence.  相似文献

The hyperfine structure and the isotope shift of transitions between metastable levels of the configuration 4f 75d6s and levels of the configuration 4f 75d6p of151Eu and153Eu were studied by means of the high resolution laser-atomic-beam technique. The metastable states were populated by an arc discharge burning in the atomic beam. The measured hyperfine constantsA andB of the 4f 75d6s configuration allow to perform a parametric analysis using the effective tensor operator formalism. For the first time the nuclear quadrupole moments are deduced from the quadrupole interaction parameters of the 5d electron in Eu I. The values uncorrected for the Sternheimer effect are151 Q(5d)=1.53(5)b and153 Q(5d)=3.92(12)b. A comparison with the quadrupole moments derived from the 6p electron and the intrinsic quadrupole moment of153Eu gives information about Sternheimer's correction factors. The value found for the hyperfine anomaly due tos electrons in the 4f 75d6s configuration agrees very well with previous results in other Eu configurations. The change in the mean-square nuclear charge radius is derived from the isotope shift measurements and compared with the results obtained from other optical transitions in Eu. The mean value isgdr 2151, 153 =0.577(25) fm2.  相似文献

The hyperfine structure of the low-lying atomic levels 4d 2 5s 2 3 F 2, 3, 4 and 4d 3 5s 5 F 2, 3, 4, 5 of91Zr has been studied using the atomic-beam magnetic-resonance method. The main results of a model for 5d electrons in the heavy rare earth metals are presented. The model involves the use of wave functions based on published analyses for 4fn5d6s2 atomic configurations, and the spreading of each of these energy levels uniformly over a band of width W in the metals. Excess saturation magnetic moments above those of the tripositive ions can be explained by the model with W in the range 0.84±0.16eV in the five metals Gd, Tb, Dy, Er and Tm. The magnetic hyperfine fields in the metals include negative contributions from the 5d electrons which have been shown to amount to about ?250koe in Gd, Er and Tm.  相似文献
