An ultra-preconcentration technique composed of solid-phase extraction (SPE) and dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME) coupled with gas chromatography–flame photometric detection (GC–FPD) was used for determination of thirteen organophosphorus pesticides (OPPs) including phorate, diazinon, disolfotane, methyl parathion, sumithion, chlorpyrifos, malathion, fenthion, profenphose, ethion, phosalone, azinphose-methyl and co-ral in aqueous samples. The analytes were collected from large volumes of aqueous solutions (100 mL) into 100 mg of a SPE C18 sorbent. The effective variables of SPE including type and volume of elution solvent, volume and flow rate of sample solution, and salt concentration were investigated and optimized. Acetone was selected as eluent in SPE and disperser solvent in DLLME and chlorobenzene was used as extraction solvent. Under the optimal conditions, the enrichment factors were between 15,160 and 21,000 and extraction recoveries were 75.8–105.0%. The linear range was 1–10,000 ng L?1 and limits of detection (LODs) were between 0.2 and 1.5 ng L?1. The relative standard deviations (RSDs) for 50 ng L?1 of OPPs in water with and without an internal standard, were in the range of 1.4–7.9% (n = 5) and 4.0–11.6%, respectively. The relative recoveries of OPPs from well and farm water sat spiking levels of 25 and 250 ng L?1 were 88–109%.  相似文献

A new approach to performing extraction and preconcentration employing functionalized magnetic nanoparticles for the determination of trace metals is presented. Alumina-coated iron oxide nanoparticles were synthesized and used as the solid support. The nanoparticles were functionalized with sodium dodecyl sulfate and used as adsorbents for solid phase extraction of the analyte. Extraction, elution, and detection procedures were performed sequentially in the sequential injection lab-on-valve (SI-LOV) system followed by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (ETAAS). Mixtures of hydrophobic analytes were successfully extracted from solution using the synthesized magnetic adsorbents. The potential use of the established scheme was demonstrated by taking cobalt as a model analyte. Under the optimal conditions, the calibration curve showed an excellent linearity in the concentration range of 0.01–5 μg L?1, and the relative standard deviation was 2.8% at the 0.5 μg L?1 level (n = 11). The limit of detection was 6 ng L?1 with a sampling frequency of 18 h?1. The present method has been successfully applied to cobalt determination in water samples and two certified reference materials.  相似文献

The object of this work is to develop a simple and selective method for efficient extraction of Au(III) ions in aqueous solution using a new solid-phase extraction sorbent. Polyethylenimine (PEI) ion-exchange polymer was coated on alumina in the presence of NaNO3. The method is based on sorption of Au3+ ions on 50 mg PEI/Al2O3. A solution of 0.5 M thiourea, then 1.0 M HCl effectively eluted the gold ion and then aspirated into flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (FAAS). The influence of flow rate of sample solution and eluent, the pH effect, eluent type and sorption capacity was investigated. The effects of various diverse ions for preconcentration and separation of the gold ion were investigated. Relative standard deviation of 4.0 μg mL−1 of gold was 1.46% (n = 10). The detection limit was 26.2 ng L−1 in original solution. The method has been applied successfully for the recovery of trace amount of Au(III) ions from water samples.  相似文献

Analytical performances of metal coated slotted quartz tube flame atomic absorption spectrometry (SQT-FAAS) and slotted quartz tube in situ atom trapping flame atomic absorption spectrometry (SQT-AT-FAAS) systems were evaluated for determination of Bi. Non-volatile elements such as Mo, Zr, W and Ta were tried as coating materials. It was observed that W-coated SQT gave the best sensitivity for the determination of Bi for SQT-FAAS and SQT-AT-FAAS. The parameters for W-coated SQT-FAAS and W-coated SQT-AT-FAAS were optimized. Sensitivity of FAAS for Bi was improved as 4.0 fold by W-coated SQT-FAAS while 613 fold enhancement in sensitivity was achieved by W-coated SQT-AT-FAAS using 5.0 min trapping with respect to conventional FAAS. MIBK was selected as organic solvent for the re-atomization of Bi from the trapping surface. Limit of detection values for W-coated SQT-FAAS and W-coated SQT-AT-FAAS was obtained as 0.14 μg mL 1 and 0.51 ng mL 1, respectively. Linear calibration plot was obtained in the range of 2.5–25.0 ng mL 1 for W-coated SQT-AT-FAAS. Accuracy of the W-coated SQT-AT-FAAS system was checked by analyzing a standard reference material, NIST 1643e.  相似文献

A sensitive and selective preconcentration method using solid-phase extraction (SPE) disk, namely multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) disk, is proposed for the determination of atrazine and simazine in water samples. Atrazine and simazine were extracted on MWCNTs disk and then determined by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC/MS). Several parameters on the enrichment factor of the analytes were investigated. The experimental results showed that it was possible to obtain quantitative analysis when the solution pH was 5 using 200 mL of validation solution containing 0.1 μg of triazines and 5 mL of acetone as an eluent. The maximum enrichment factors for atrazine and simazine were 3900 ± 250 and 4000 ± 110, respectively when 200 mL of sample solution volume was used. Relative standard deviations for seven determinations were 6.9% (atrazine) and 3.0% (simazine) under optimum conditions. The linear range of calibration curves were 0.1 to 1 ng mL 1 for each analyte with good correlation coefficients. The detection limits (3S/N) were 2.5 and 5.0 pg mL 1 for atrazine and simazine, respectively. The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of atrazine and simazine in environmental water samples with high precision and accuracy.  相似文献

An electrothermal vaporization (ETV) system useful for the analysis of solutions and slurries has been coupled with a sector-field inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICP–MS) equipped with an array detector. The ability of this instrument to record the transient signals produced for a number of analytes in ETV–ICP–MS is demonstrated. Detection limits for Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn and Ga are in the range of 4–60 pg μL 1 for aqueous solutions and in the low μg g 1 range for the analysis of 10 mg mL 1 slurries of Al2O3 powders. The dynamic ranges measured for Fe, Cu and Ga spanned 3–5 orders of magnitude when the detector was operated in the low-gain mode and appear to be limited by the ETV system. Trace amounts of Fe, Cu and Ga could be directly determined in Al2O3 powders at the 2–270 μg g 1 level without the use of thermochemical reagents. The results well agree with literature values for Fe and Cu, whereas deviations of 50% at the 90 μg g 1 level for Ga were found.  相似文献

A headspace adsorptive microextraction technique was developed using a novel polyaniline-nylon-6 (PANI-N6) nanofiber sheet, fabricated by electrospinning. The homogeneity and the porosity of the prepared PANI-N6 sheet were studied using the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and nanofibers diameters were found to be around 200 nm. The novel nanofiber sheet was examined as an extracting medium to isolate some selected chlorobenzenes (CBs), as model compounds, from aquatic media. The extracted analytes were desorbed using μL-amounts of solvent and eventually an aliquot of extractant was injected into gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC–MS). Various parameters affecting the extraction and desorption processes were optimized. The developed method proved to be convenient and offers sufficient sensitivity and a good reproducibility. Limits of detection achieved for CBs with the developed analytical procedure ranged from 19 to 33 ng L?1, while limits of quantification were from 50 to 60 ng L?1. The relative standard deviations (RSD) at a concentration level of 0.1 ng mL?1 and 1 ng mL?1 were in the range of 8–14% and 5–11% (n = 3), respectively. The calibration curves of analytes were investigated in the range of 50–1000 ng L?1 and R2 between 0.9739 and 0.9932 were obtained. The developed method was successfully applied to the extraction of selected CBs from tap and river water samples. The relative recovery (RR) percentage obtained for the spiked real water samples at 0.1 ng mL?1 and 1 ng mL?1 level were 93–103% and 95–104%, respectively. The whole procedure showed to be conveniently applicable and quite easy to handle.  相似文献

In this work, the potential of modified multiwalled carbon nanotubes for separation and preconcentration of trace amounts of manganese ion is studied. Multiwalled carbon nanotubes were oxidized with concentrated HNO3 and then modified with loading 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphtol. Mn(II) ions could be quantitatively retained by modified multiwalled carbon nanotubes in the pH range of 8–9.5. Elution of the adsorbed manganese was carried out with 5.0 mL of 0.1 mol L?1 HNO3. Detection limit is 0.058 ng mL?1 and analytical curve is linear in the range of 0.1 ng mL?1–5.0 μg mL?1 in the initial solution with a correlation coefficient 0.9977 and the preconcentration factor is 100. Relative standard deviation for eight replicate determination of 0.5 μg mL?1 of manganese in the final solution is 0.41%. The effects of the experimental parameters, including the sample pH, flow rates of sample and eluent solution, eluent type, breakthrough volume and interference ions, were studied for preconcentration of Mn(II) ions in detail to optimize the conditions. The method was successfully applied for separation, preconcentration and determination of manganese in different samples.  相似文献

Arsenic and germanium have been evaluated as internal standards to minimize matrix effects on the direct determination of selenium in milk by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS) using tubes with integrated platform, pre-treated with W together with Pd as chemical modifier. The efficiency of As and Ge as internal standards for 25 μg L 1 Se plus 500 μg L 1 As or Ge in diluted (1 + 9 v/v) milk plus 1.0% (v/v) HNO3 was evaluated by means of correlation graphs plotted from the normalized absorbance signals (n = 20) of internal standard (axis y) versus analyte (axis x). The equations that describe the linear regression were: AAs =  0.004 ± 0.019 + 1.02 ± 0.019 ASe (r = 0.9967 ± 0.005); AGe =  0.017 ± 0.015 + 1.01 ± 0.015 ASe (r = 0.9978 ± 0.004). Samples and reference solutions were automatically spiked with 500 μg L 1 Ge or As and 1.0% (v/v) HNO3 by the autosampler. For 20 μL of aqueous standard solutions, analytical curves in the 5.00–40.0 μg L 1 Se range were established using the ratio of Se absorbance to internal standard absorbance (ASe / AIS) versus analyte concentration, and good linear correlations were obtained. The characteristic mass was 40 pg Se. Limits of detection were 0.55 and 0.40 μg L 1 with As and Ge as the internal standard, respectively. Relative standard deviations (RSD) for a sample containing 25 μg L 1 Se were 1.2% and 1.0% (n = 12) using As and Ge, respectively. The RSD without internal standardization was about 6%. The accuracy of the proposed method was evaluated by an addition-recovery experiment and all recovered values were in the 99–105% range with IS and in the 70–80% range without IS. Using Ge as the internal standard, results of analysis of standard reference materials were in agreement with certified values at a 95% confidence level. The selenium concentration for 10 analyzed milk samples varied from 5.0 to 20 μg L 1.  相似文献

Simultaneous determination of nimesulide, phenylpropanolamine, chlorpheniramine and caffeine in rat plasma by reversed-phase high performance liquid-chromatography (RP–HPLC) with photodiode array (PDA) detection method was developed and validated. Sample preparation based on a simple extraction procedure consisting of deproteination and extraction with methanol solution followed by volume make up with the aqueous component of the mobile phase obtained best recoveries of the analytes. The chromatographic conditions were optimized and the analytes were separated on XBridge™ C18 (3.5 μm, 4.6 × 150 mm) column in isocratic elution with the mobile phase composition of acetonitrile and 10 mM ammonium acetate buffer (pH 4.0, 0.1% formic acid) (18:82 v/v%) at the flow rate of 1 mL min−1 and the effluents were monitored in the wavelength range of 220–275 nm. The method was linear for all analytes over the following concentration (ng mL−1) ranges: nimesulide 250–4000; phenylpropanolamine 100–1500; chlorpheniramine 20–500; and caffeine 10–100. Acceptable precision, accuracy and recoveries were obtained for quality control (QC) samples at three concentrations (low QC, middle QC and high QC). The percentage of relative standard deviation (% RSD) of Inter and intra-run precision of all molecules was <15% and the percentage of accuracy was 100 ± 10. The analytes were more stable in rat plasma at different storage conditions. Finally the method was efficiently applied to pharmacokinetics study in rat plasma.  相似文献

A novel procedure for trace methylmercury determinations by anodic stripping voltammetry at a gold film electrode is presented. Measurements were performed in a flow system. For selective determination of methylmercury, the Hg2+ ions were masked by complexation with DTPA. Hg-DTPA complex is not reduced at the gold film electrode at the potential of methylmercury reduction to the metallic state. The calibration graph was linear from 5 × 10−9 to 1 × 10−7 mol L−1 for an accumulation time 600 s. A detection limit (based on 3σ criterion) for methylmercury was 2.3 × 10−9 mol L−1. The validation of the proposed procedure was made by analyses of human hair certified reference material.  相似文献

A method for preconcentration of palladium at trace level on modified multiwalled carbon nanotubes columns and determination by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) has been developed. Multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were oxidized with concentrated HNO3 and the oxidized multiwalled carbon nanotubes were modified with 5-(4′-dimethylamino benzyliden)-rhodanine, and then were used as a solid sorbent for preconcentration of Pd(II) ions. Factors influencing sorption and desorption of Pd(II) ions were investigated. The sorption of Pd(II) ions was quantitative in the pH range of 1.0–4.5, whereas quantitative desorption occurs with 3.0 mL 0.4 mol L?1 thiourea. The amount of eluted palladium was measured using flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The effects of experimental parameters, including sample flow rate, eluent flow rate, and eluent concentration were investigated. The effect of coexisting ions showed no interference from most ions tested. The proposed method permitted a large enrichment factor (about 200). The relative standard deviation of the method was ±2.73% (for eight replicate determination of 2.0 μg mL?1 of Pd(II)) and the limit of detection was 0.3 ng mL?1. The method was applied to the determination of Pd(II) in water, road dust, and standard samples.  相似文献

A simple and inexpensive laboratory-built flow injection vapor generation system coupled to atomic absorption spectrometry (FI-VG AAS) for inorganic and total mercury determination has been developed. It is based on the vapor generation of total mercury and a selective detection of Hg2 + or total mercury by varying the temperature of the measurement cell. Only the inorganic mercury is measured when the quartz cell is at room temperature, and when the cell is heated to 650 °C or higher the total Hg concentration is measured. The organic Hg concentration in the sample is calculated from the difference between the total Hg and Hg2 + concentrations. Parameters such as the type of acid (HCl or HNO3) and its concentration, reductant (NaBH4) concentration, carrier solution (HCl) flow rate, carrier gas flow rate, sample volume and quartz cell temperature, which influence FI-VG AAS system performance, were systematically investigated. The optimized conditions for Hg2 + and total Hg determinations were: 1.0 mol l 1 HCl as carrier solution, carrier flow rate of 3.5 ml min 1, 0.1% (m/v) NaBH4, reductant flow rate of 1.0 ml min 1 and carrier gas flow rate of 200 ml min 1. The relative standard deviation (RSD) is lower than 5.0% for a 1.0 μg l 1 Hg solution and the limit of quantification (LOQ, 10 s) is 55 ng g 1. Certified samples of dogfish muscle (DORM-1 and DORM-2) and non-certified fish samples were analyzed, using a 6.0 mol l 1 HCl solution for analyte extraction. The Hg2 + and CH3Hg+ concentrations found were in agreement with certified ones.  相似文献

This work reports on a novel chitosan–hematite nanotubes composite film on a gold foil by a simple one-step electrodeposition method. The hybrid chitosan–hematite nanotubes (Chi–HeNTs) film exhibits strong electrocatalytic reduction activity for H2O2. Interestingly, two electrocatalytic reduction peaks are observed at −0.24 and −0.56 V (vs SCE), respectively, one controlled by surface wave and the other controlled by diffusion process. The Chi–HeNTs/Au electrode shows a linear response to H2O2 concentration ranging from 1 × 10−6 to 1.6 × 10−5 mol L−1 with a detection limit of 5 × 10−8 mol L−1 and a sensitivity as high as 1859 μA μM−1 cm−2.  相似文献

Four inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometric methods: nebulization sample introduction with external calibration; hydride generation with external calibration; isotope dilution with nebulization; and isotope dilution with hydride generation, have been tested and compared. Multimode Sample Introduction System (MSIS™) was employed in either nebulization or hydride generation mode. Best limits of detection (below 0.1 μg L 1) and accuracy were obtained for isotope dilution techniques in hydride generation and sample nebulization mode. A mixture of HNO3 and H2O2 served both for microwave-assisted digestion as well as a medium for subsequent plumbane generation. Optimal reagent concentrations for hydride generation stage were 0.1 mol L 1 HNO3, 0.28 mol L 1 H2O2 and 1.5% m/v NaBH4. Critical effects of acidity, blanks and concomitants have been discussed. Analytical methods were validated by use of plant and water certified reference materials and spiked high-salt solutions (seawater and 20% m/v NaCl) at lead levels in nanograms per gram to micrograms per gram range.  相似文献

A study of organic loading rate (OLR) and effect of NaOH concentration on the pretreatment stage of corn husk (CH) was conducted by Face-Centered Central Composite Design (CCF) to improve the biogas production. Three levels of OLR at 25.0 g VS · L−1 · d−1 (OLR25), 35.0 g VS · L−1 · d−1 (OLR35), and 45.0 g VS · L−1 · d−1 (OLR45) were performed with NaOH pretreatment concentration of CH at 25.0% (N25), 35.0% (N35), and 45.0% (N45) (w/w). The optimum production of biogas at 67.6 mL · min−1 with methane concentration of 63.4% has been obtained at the application of OLR at 43.6 g VS · L−1 · d−1 and NaOH concentration at 33% (w/w).  相似文献

The originality on the high efficiency of murexide modified halloysite nanotubes as a new adsorbent of solid phase extraction has been reported to preconcentrate and separate Pd(II) in solution samples. The new adsorbent was confirmed by Fourier transformed infrared spectra, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, transmission electron microscope and N2 adsorption–desorption isotherms. Effective preconcentration conditions of analyte were examined using column procedures prior to detection by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). The effects of pH, the amount of adsorbent, the sample flow rate and volume, the elution condition and the interfering ions were optimized in detail. Under the optimized conditions, Pd(II) could be retained on the column at pH 1.0 and quantitatively eluted by 2.5 mL of 0.01 mol L?1 HCl–3% thiourea solution at a flow rate of 2.0 mL min?1. The analysis time was 5 min. An enrichment factor of 120 was accomplished. Common interfering ions did not interfere in both separation and determination. The maximum adsorption capacity of the adsorbent at optimum conditions was found to be 42.86 mg g?1 for Pd(II).The detection limit (3σ) of the method was 0.29 ng mL?1, and the relative standard deviation (RSD) was 3.1% (n = 11). The method was validated using certified reference material, and has been applied for the determination of trace Pd(II) in actual samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Activated carbon fibers (ACFs) with high surface area and highly mesoporous structure for electrochemical double layer capacitors (EDLCs) have been prepared from polyacrylonitrile fibers by NaOH activation. Their unique microstructural features enable the ACFs to present outstanding high specific capacitance in aqueous, non-aqueous and novel ionic liquid electrolytes, i.e. 371 F g−1 in 6 mol L−1 KOH, 213 F g−1 in 1 mol L−1 LiClO4/PC and 188 F g−1 in ionic liquid composed of lithium bis(trifluoromethane sulfonyl)imide (LiN(SO2CF3)2, LiTFSI) and 2-oxazolidinone (C3H5NO2, OZO), suggesting that the ACF is a promising electrode material for high performance EDLCs.  相似文献

Using a solid phase extraction mini-column home-made from a neutral extractant Cyanex 923, inorganic Hg could be on-line preconcentrated and simultaneously separated from methyl mercury. The preconcentrated Hg (II) was then eluted with 10% HNO3 and subsequently reduced by NaBH4 to form Hg vapor before determination by cold vapor atomic absorption spectrometry (CVAAS). Optimal conditions for and interferences on the Hg preconcentration and measurement were at 1% HCl, for a 25 mL sample uptake volume and a 10 mL min 1 sample loading rate. The detection limit was 0.2 ng L 1 and much lower than that of conventional method (around 15.8 ng L 1). The relative standard deviation (RSD) is 1.8% for measurements of 40 ng L 1 of Hg and the linear working curve is from 20 to 2000 ng L 1 (with a correlation coefficient of 0.9996). The method was applied in determination of inorganic Hg in city lake and deep well water (from Changchun, Jilin, China), and recovery test results for both samples were satisfactory.  相似文献

Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectra of the herbicide 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) was obtained by employing a bi-layer gold substrate, assembled by the reduction of Au(III) over gold-seeded nanoparticles immobilized on functionalized glass substrates. The SERS signal was linear with the logarithm of the solution concentrations between 1.0 × 10−7 mol L−1 and 1.0 × 10−3 mol L−1, indicating that the bi-layer gold substrate affords a significant dynamic range for SERS, providing an excellent analytical response within this concentration range, and revealing the high sensitivity of the gold surface towards such analyte. In addition, using the same gold substrate, a similar calibration curve was obtained for crystal-violet (CV), and it was possible to identify the concentration limit corresponding to the transition from the average SERS to the nonlinear SERS response.  相似文献
