The Moor-Penrose generalized inverses (M-P inverses for short) of matrices over a finite field Fq 2 which is a generalization of the Moor-Penrose generalized inverses over the complex field, are studied in the present paper. Some necessary and sufficient conditions for anm xn matrixA over Fq 2 having an M-P inverse are obtained, which make clear the set ofm xn matrices over Fq 2 having M-P inverses and reduce the problem of constructing and enumerating the M-P invertible matrices to that of constructing and enumerating the non-isotropic subspaces with respect to the unitary group. Based on this reduction, both the construction problem and the enumeration problem are solved by borrowing the results in geometry of unitary groups over finite fields.  相似文献

The main purpose of this paper is to study the continuity of several kinds of generalized inverses of elements in a Banach algebra with identity. We first obtain a sufficient and necessary condition for the lower semi-continuity of reflexive generalized inverses as set-valued mappings. Based on this result, we characterize the continuity of the Moore-Penrose inverse in a C-algebra and therefore, derive some new and well-known criteria in operator theory.  相似文献

The problems of perturbation and expression for the generalized inverses of closed linear operators in Banach spaces and for the Moore-Penrose inverses of closed linear operators in Hilbert spaces are studied. We first provide some stability characterizations of generalized inverses of closed linear operators under T-bounded perturbation in Banach spaces, which are exactly equivalent to that the generalized inverse of the perturbed operator has the simplest expression T+(I+δTT+)-1. Utilizing these results, we investigate the expression for the Moore-Penrose inverse of the perturbed operator in Hilbert spaces and provide a unified approach to deal with the range preserving or null space preserving perturbation. An explicit representation for the Moore-Penrose inverse of the perturbation is also given. Moreover, we give an equivalent condition for the Moore-Penrose inverse to have the simplest expression T(I+δTT)-1. The results obtained in this paper extend and improve many recent results in this area.  相似文献

We investigate the generalized Drazin inverse and the generalized resolvent in Banach algebras. The Laurent expansion of the generalized resolvent in Banach algebras is introduced. The Drazin index of a Banach algebra element is characterized in terms of the existence of a particularly chosen limit process. As an application, the computing of the Moore-Penrose inverse in >C *-algebras is considered. We investigate the generalized Drazin inverse as an outer inverse with prescribed range and kernel. Also, 2 × 2 operator matrices are considered. As corollaries, we get some well-known results.  相似文献

On the basis of a generalization of the well-known Schmidt lemma to the case of n-normal and d-normal linear bounded operators in a Banach space, we propose constructions of generalized inverse operators. In this paper, we investigate the perturbation problem for the Moore–Penrose bounded quasi-linear projection generalized inverses of a closed linear operaters in Banach space. By the method of the perturbation analysis of bounded quasi-linear operators, we obtain an explicit perturbation theorem and error estimates for the Moore–Penrose bounded quasi-linear generalized inverse of closed linear operator under the T-bounded perturbation, which not only extend some known results on the perturbation of the oblique projection generalized inverse of closed linear operators, but also extend some known results on the perturbation of the Moore–Penrose metric generalized inverse of bounded linear operators in Banach spaces.  相似文献

In this paper,the perturbations of the Moore–Penrose metric generalized inverses of linear operators in Banach spaces are described.The Moore–Penrose metric generalized inverse is homogeneous and nonlinear in general,and the proofs of our results are different from linear generalized inverses.By using the quasi-additivity of Moore–Penrose metric generalized inverse and the theorem of generalized orthogonal decomposition,we show some error estimates of perturbations for the singlevalued Moore–Penrose metric generalized inverses of bounded linear operators.Furthermore,by means of the continuity of the metric projection operator and the quasi-additivity of Moore–Penrose metric generalized inverse,an expression for Moore–Penrose metric generalized inverse is given.  相似文献

An essential part of Cegielski’s [Obtuse cones and Gram matrices with non-negative inverse, Linear Algebra Appl. 335 (2001) 167-181] considerations of some properties of Gram matrices with nonnegative inverses, which are pointed out to be crucial in constructing obtuse cones, consists in developing some particular formulae for the Moore-Penrose inverse of a columnwise partitioned matrix A = (A1 : A2) under the assumption that it is of full column rank. In the present paper, these results are generalized and extended. The generalization consists in weakening the assumption mentioned above to the requirement that the ranges of A1 and A2 are disjoint, while the extension consists in introducing the conditions referring to the class of all generalized inverses of A.  相似文献

Generalized quasi-twisted (GQT) codes form a generalization of quasi-twisted (QT) codes and generalized quasi-cyclic (GQC) codes. By the Chinese remainder theorem, the GQT codes can be decomposed into a direct sum of some linear codes over Galois extension fields, which leads to the trace representation of the GQT codes. Using this trace representation, we first prove the minimum distance bound for GQT codes with two constituents. Then we generalize the result to GQT codes with s constituents. Finally, we present some examples to show that the bound is better than the well-known Esmaeili-Yari bound and sharp in many instances.  相似文献

We define and characterize inner generalized inverses with prescribed idempotents. These classes of generalized inverses are natural algebraic extension of generalized inverses of linear operators with prescribed range and kernel. We consider the reverse order rule for inner generalized inverses of elements of a ring, some perturbation bounds, and we construct an iterative method for computing a (p, q)-inner inverse in Banach algebras.  相似文献

The ‘constrained inverse’ was introduced by Bott and Duffin in 1953. Since then various generalizations have arisen. In this paper, we propose a generalization of the Bott–Duffin inverse. Applications of the projection methods for solving sparse linear systems, the truncated methods for solving least squares problems, and solvers for generalized saddle point problems are also presented. The relationships with other generalized Bott–Duffin inverses are explored. The results indicate that the generalized Bott–Duffin inverse may be a useful tool in matrix computations. A generalization is given of Finsler's theorem on the positivity of a quadratic form subject to a quadratic equality. The generalized result is, under a certain assumption, a set of necessary and sufficient conditions for non-negativity of a quadratic form subject to an arbitrary number of quadratic inequality and equality constraints. The concept of digroup has been proposed as a generalization of continuous groups whose tangent space is a Leibniz algebra. We study a further generalization of the digroup structure in which we do not demand that the inverses are necessarily bilateral. We characterize a generalized digroup as a set and as a product. We show an analogous to the first isomorphism theorem. Additionally, we explore the concept of dialgebra digroup.  相似文献
