动态焦散线实验方法及其在断裂力学中的初步应用   总被引:8,自引:0,他引:8  
本文给出了静、动态的焦散线方程,和确定裂纹尖端位置、动应力强度因子K_1~d的计算公式,并证明了在裂纹扩张速度较低时,可用静态公式计算,还研究了带预裂纹的三点弯曲梁和圆环在冲击载荷下的断裂问题,得到了系列动态焦散线照片、裂尖位置和动应力强度因子随时间的变化曲线。  相似文献

采用数字激光动态焦散线测试系统,研究爆炸应力波作用下动裂纹与预制静裂纹(水平夹角为90°、150°)相互作用机理,以及裂纹扩展的动态行为。结果表明:(1)在动、静裂纹贯通之前,静裂纹两端便出现焦散斑,动、静裂纹贯通以后,静裂纹沿爆炸应力波传播方向扩展,并且扩展速度小于动裂纹扩展速度,也小于无静裂纹时动裂纹扩展速度; (2)静裂纹存在时,动裂纹扩展的总体长度减小。动裂纹起裂时间缩短,扩展速度基本不受静裂纹的影响,裂纹应力强度因子值大于静裂纹两端值; (3)随着静裂纹水平夹角的增大,动、静裂纹贯通时动裂纹沿水平方向偏转距离增大,静裂纹B端反向扩展与动裂纹相互“咬合”,C端裂纹扩展位移和速度增大。  相似文献

焦散线方法与高速摄影技术结合,对线性规律功能梯度材料的I型静、动态断裂特性进行实验研究,并利用有限元软件进行数值模拟. 首先推导了线性规律功能梯度材料静、动态裂尖的焦散线初始曲线方程和参数方程,提出通过迭代方法根据功能梯度材料的复杂焦散线方程求解应力强度因子. 为对比材料梯度对断裂行为的影响,利用重力沉降法制备了3种梯度变化规律的试件. 然后对功能梯度材料试件进行三点弯曲实验,通过CCD和高速摄影装置采集试件焦散线图像,提取各种静、动态断裂参数. 最后通过与有限元模拟结果进行对比,证明在功能梯度材料断裂实验中焦散线方法的有效性,并详细分析了不同梯度变化规律对材料静、动态断裂性能的影响.   相似文献

采用动态焦散线方法,对含偏置裂纹三点弯曲梁承受横向冲击的弯曲断裂行为进行了一系列动态断裂力学实验研究,分析了无量纲量a/l的改变(a——初始裂纹偏离梁中心线的距离;l——梁长度的一半)对于裂纹动态扩展行为(裂纹起始状态、裂纹尖端的复合应力强度因子、裂纹扩展速度、裂纹扩展轨迹)的影响,并借助动态光弹性应力分析,对应力波与扩展裂纹的相互作用以及应力波传播规律进行探讨.给出了裂纹尖端复合应力强度因子、裂纹扩展速度的变化、裂纹曲裂轨迹以及方向与梁中应力波传播的相互关系  相似文献

采用动静组合加载实验装置和数字激光焦散线实验系统,进行了0、3、6、9 MPa等4种压应力场中PMMA试件的爆破致裂实验,分析了沿静态主应力方向扩展的裂纹运动学和力学行为。实验结果表明:首先,静态竖向载荷在预制炮孔周围产生应力集中,在炮孔壁上下端部处出现最大拉应力;随后,在动态爆炸载荷的叠加作用下,裂纹优先在炮孔壁上最大拉应力位置处起裂,并沿最大主应力方向扩展;裂纹扩展过程中,静态竖向载荷越大,裂纹扩展速度越大,且裂纹尖端应力强度因子值越大。  相似文献

The equations of caustics for dynamically extending curvilinear interface cracks are derived where optical isotropy and anisotropy of the material have been considered, respectively. The equations have been obtained by applying the method of generalized complex potentials. Moreover, an algorithm for the determination of stress intensity factors from experimentally obtained caustics is presented for the case of dynamic crack extension.  相似文献

为了探究动静组合应力场作用下邻近巷道背爆侧裂纹缺陷的扩展规律,采用动静加载透射式动态焦散线方法进行了模拟实验,并结合裂纹尖端的动态应力强度因子和能量释放率进行了分析。实验结果表明:在动静荷载作用下,邻近巷道背爆侧裂纹缺陷处也成为巷道主要扰动区,且爆炸荷载对背爆侧预制裂纹的起裂起主导作用;p=0.2 MPa时的相同动静组合应力场中,背爆侧预制裂纹的扩展位移差异与裂纹的倾角有关,当θ=75°时,爆炸应力波无法驱动裂纹起裂;在相同爆炸荷载作用下,θ=30°时,较小竖向荷载对裂纹的扩展具有抑制作用,且抑制作用随所施加的竖向荷载增加而增大,当p=0.4 MPa时,裂纹无法起裂;裂纹最终扩展位移,与裂纹尖端动态应力强度因子在极大值上下振荡变化的持续时间,或在裂纹扩展阶段能量释放率积累量,呈正相关。  相似文献

Based on the first invariant of stress singular field in the vicinity of running tip of an interface crack, mapping equations of the caustic curve on the reference plane and the initial curve on the specimen plane are developed. The dynamic caustics are analyzed for the crack propagating along the interface between two bonded dissimilar materials. The variation of the caustic configurations is shown with the velocity change of the running crack and the ratio change of the stress intensity factors. Two characteristic dimensions are proposed that are not only practically measurable from optical caustic contours but also suitable to represent the behavior of transient caustics. 本文利用高速摄影捕捉含裂纹三点弯曲梁在冲击下裂纹扩展过程,借助动态焦散线对裂纹尖端初始曲线范围内的应力第二不变量分布进行了试验研究,并通过Det.-准则对动载下裂纹起始扩展的条件和方向进行了分析。结果表明:裂纹扩展的实际方向与理论预测相一致;Det.-准则与焦散线相结合在动态断裂力学研究中具有广泛的使用价值  相似文献

Dynamic fracture behaviour of crack curving in bent beams has been investigated. In order to understand the propagation mechanism of such cracks under impact, an experimental method is used that combines dynamic photoelasticity with dynamic caustics to study the interaction of the flexural waves and the crack. From the state change of the transient stresses in polymer specimen, the curving fracture in the impulsively loaded beams is analyzed. The dynamic responses of crack tips are evaluated by the stress intensity factors for the cracks running in varying curvature paths under bending stress wave. 本文从焦散线形成原理的数学描述出发,用扩展裂纹尖端附近的应力分量表达式,在前人工作的基础上,作了详细的数值计算。特别分析了裂纹扩展速度对焦散斑和初始曲线的形状、大小的影响,为测量扩展裂纹尖端的动态应力强度因子K_1~d提供了依据,并通过拟合得到了以裂纹扩展速度为参量的修正因子表达式。本文还提出了一种测定透明材料动态应力光学常数的方法,并用这一方法测定了有机玻璃的动态应力光学常数。  相似文献

The caustics created at a crack tip under biaxial loading are examined using both the closed form and the approximate solution. Particular attention is given to the caustics and their initial curves created by rays reflected from the rear and front surfaces of the specimen in addition to those in the transverse direction of the cracked specimen. These quantities can differ by more than 30% depending on whether the exact or the approximate solution is used for determining the stress intensity factors which can deviate as much as 80%. The crack length also affects the outcome. Larger errors are committed by the approximate solution for caustics that are closer to the crack tip. The advantage of using the normalized distance from the crack tip is discussed in contrast to using the absolute distance. Incorrect experimental measurements are also discussed in relation to the resulting error for evaluating the crack tip stress intensity factor.  相似文献

为得到圆孔缺陷对运动裂纹扩展过程的影响规律,采用动态焦散线实验方法进行模型实验,研究了冲击载荷下含空孔三点弯曲梁的动态断裂行为。研究结果表明:空孔对裂纹扩展有极大的阻碍作用,在一定范围内,空孔直径越大,阻碍作用越明显。裂纹扩展到空孔附近时,扩展速度会下降。裂纹在空孔上部再次起裂后,最大扩展速度远远大于裂纹与空孔贯通前的最大扩展速度。裂纹扩展至空孔附近时,裂纹尖端动态应力强度因子KdⅠ和KdⅡ均会下降。裂纹在空孔上部再次起裂后,裂尖的应力强度因子KdⅠ和KdⅡ均大于裂纹与空孔贯通前裂尖的KdⅠ和KdⅡ。在整个扩展过程中,裂纹尖端的动态应力强度因子KdⅡ远小于KdⅠ,说明KdⅠ在裂纹扩展过程中起主要作用。  相似文献

A simple model was proposed for the interpretation of the non-circular form of the Rayleigh wavefronts emitted by a fast running crack in a plate. The surface deformation around the crack tip, due to the high stress concentration there, propagated as a surface wave after fracture of this zone. On the other hand, the moving singularity of the crack tip created a dynamic stress field of varying intensity with time all over the specimen. This dynamic stress field resulted in a significant change of the mechanical properties of a strain-rate dependent material and therefore it influenced the velocity of propagation of fracture-Rayleigh wavefronts. An analysis of this varying dynamic strain field explained the non-circular form of Rayleigh waves, accompanying the propagating crack. For the experimental evaluation of the K1-factor the method of dynamic caustics was used in conjunction with the high-speed photography technique.  相似文献

A dynamic model for beams with cross-sectional cracks is discussed. It is shown that a crack can be represented by a consistent, static flexibility matrix. Two different methods for the determination of the flexibility matrix are discussed. If the static stress intensity factors are known, the flexibility matrix can be determined from an integration of these stress intensity factors. Alternatively, static finite element calculations can be used for the determination of the flexibility matrix. Both methods are demonstrated in the present paper. The mathematical model was applied to an edge-cracked cantilevered beam and the eigenfrequencies were determined for different crack lengths and crack positions. These results were compared to experimentally obtained eigenfrequencies. In the experiments, the cracks were modelled by sawing cuts. The theoretical results were, for all crack lengths, in excellent agreement with the experimental data. The dynamic stress intensity factor for a longitudinally vibrating, centrally cracked bar was determined as well. The results compared very well with dynamic finite element calculations. The crack closure effect was experimentally investigated for an edge-cracked beam with a fatigue crack. It was found that the eigenfrequencies decreased, as functions of crack length, at a much slower rate than in the case of an open crack.  相似文献

A dynamic weight function method is presented for dynamic stress intensity factors of circular disk with a radial edge crack under external impulsive pressure. The dynamic stresses in a circular disk are solved under abrupt step external pressure using the eigenfunction method. The solution consists of a quasi-static solution satisfying inhomogeneous boundary conditions and a dynamic solution satisfying homogeneous boundary conditions. By making use of Fourier-Bessel series expansion, the history and distribution of dynamic stresses in the circular disk are derived. Furthermore, the equation for stress intensity factors under uniform pressure is used as the reference case, the weight function equation for the circular disk containing an edge crack is worked out, and the dynamic stress intensity factor equation for the circular disk containing a radial edge crack can be given. The results indicate that the stress intensity factors under sudden step external pressure vary periodically with time, and the ratio of the maximum value of dynamic stress intensity factors to the corresponding static value is about 2.0.  相似文献

应用爆炸加载的透射式动焦散线测试系统,分析了有机玻璃切槽孔爆破模型的裂纹动态特征变化规律。比较了不同切槽角度、切槽深度的定向断裂裂纹尖端的扩展长度、扩展速度和动态应力强度因子。初步探讨了切槽爆破的动态效应,研究表明切槽孔爆破早期裂纹破坏模式为爆炸拉应力波作用下的I型快速扩展裂纹,裂纹尖端拉应力集中积聚的较大应变能维持了爆炸裂纹进一步扩展,裂纹尖端扩展后期表现为P波、S波共同作用下的复合型扩展特征。切槽角为60时获得的定向断裂效果最好,合理切槽深度为炮孔半径的1/4~1/2。  相似文献
