The symmetric d(5) trans-bis-alkynyl complexes [Mn(dmpe)(2)(C triple bond CSiR(3))(2)] (R = Me, 1 a; Et, 1 b; Ph, 1 c) (dmpe = 1,2-bis(dimethylphosphino)ethane) have been prepared by the reaction of [Mn(dmpe)(2)Br(2)] with two equivalents of the corresponding acetylide LiC triple bond CSiR(3). The reactions of species 1 with [Cp(2)Fe][PF(6)] yield the corresponding d(4) complexes [Mn(dmpe)(2)(C triple bond CSiR(3))(2)][PF(6)] (R = Me, 2 a; Et, 2 b; Ph, 2 c). These complexes react with NBu(4)F (TBAF) at -10 degrees C to give the desilylated parent acetylide compound [Mn(dmpe)(2)(C triple bond CH)(2)][PF(6)] (6), which is stable only in solution at below 0 degrees C. The asymmetrically substituted trans-bis-alkynyl complexes [Mn(dmpe)(2)(C triple bond CSiR(3))(C triple bond CH)][PF(6)] (R = Me, 7 a; Et, 7 b) related to 6 have been prepared by the reaction of the vinylidene compounds [Mn(dmpe)(2)(C triple bond CSiR(3))(C=CH(2))] (R = Me, 5 a; Et, 5 b) with two equivalents of [Cp(2)Fe][PF(6)] and one equivalent of quinuclidine. The conversion of [Mn(C(5)H(4)Me)(dmpe)I] with Me(3)SiC triple bond CSnMe(3) and dmpe afforded the trans-iodide-alkynyl d(5) complex [Mn(dmpe)(2)(C triple bond CSiMe(3))I] (9). Complex 9 proved to be unstable with regard to ligand disproportionation reactions and could therefore not be oxidized to a unique Mn(III) product, which prevented its further use in acetylide coupling reactions. Compounds 2 react at room temperature with one equivalent of TBAF to form the mixed-valent species [[Mn(dmpe)(2)(C triple bond CH)](2)(micro-C(4))][PF(6)] (11) by C-C coupling of [Mn(dmpe)(2)(C triple bond CH)(C triple bond C*)] radicals generated by deprotonation of 6. In a similar way, the mixed-valent complex [[Mn(dmpe)(2)(C triple bond CSiMe(3))](2)(micro-C(4))][PF(6)] [12](+) is obtained by the reaction of 7 a with one equivalent of DBU (1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene). The relatively long-lived radical intermediate [Mn(dmpe)(2)(C triple bond CH)(C triple bond C*)] could be trapped as the Mn(I) complex [Mn(dmpe)(2)(C triple bond CH)(triple bond C-CO(2))] (14) by addition of an excess of TEMPO (2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-piperidinyloxy) to the reaction mixtures of species 2 and TBAF. The neutral dinuclear Mn(II)/Mn(II) compounds [[Mn(dmpe)(2)(C triple bond CR(3))](2)(micro-C(4))] (R = H, 11; R = SiMe(3), 12) are produced by the reduction of [11](+) and [12](+), respectively, with [FeCp(C(6)Me(6))]. [11](+) and [12](+) can also be oxidized with [Cp(2)Fe][PF(6)] to produce the dicationic Mn(III)/Mn(III) species [[Mn(dmpe)(2)(C triple bond CR(3))](2)(micro-C(4))][PF(6)](2) (R = H, [11](2+); R = SiMe(3), [12](2+)). Both redox processes are fully reversible. The dinuclear compounds have been characterized by NMR, IR, UV/Vis, and Raman spectroscopies, CV, and magnetic susceptibilities, as well as elemental analyses. X-ray diffraction studies have been performed on complexes 4 b, 7 b, 9, [12](+), [12](2+), and 14.  相似文献

A series of soluble trinuclear copper(I) and silver(I) complexes containing bicapped diynyl ligands, [M(3)(micro-dppm)(3)(micro(3)-eta(1)-C triple bond CC triple bond CR)(2)]PF(6) (M = Cu, R = Ph, C(6)H(4)-CH(3)-p, C(6)H(4)-OCH(3)-p, (n)C(6)H(13), H; M = Ag, R = Ph, C(6)H(4)-OCH(3)-p), has been synthesized and their electronic, photophysical, and electrochemical properties studied. The sequential conversion of [OsBr(cod)Cp*] (9) to [OsBr(dppe)Cp*] (10), [Os([=C=CH2)(dppe)Cp*]PF6 ([11]PF6), [Os(C triple bond CH)(dppe)Cp*] (12), [{Os(dppe)Cp*}2{mu-(=C=CH-CH=C=)}][PF6]2 ([13](PF6)2) and finally [{Os(dppe)Cp*}(2)(mu-C triple bond CC triple bond C)] (14) has been used to make the third member of the triad [{M(dppe)Cp*}2(mu-C triple bond CC triple bond C)] (M = Fe, Ru, Os). The molecular structures of []PF6, 12 and 14, together with those of the related osmium complexes [Os(NCMe)(dppe)Cp*]PF6 ([15]PF6) and [Os(C triple bond CPh)(dppe)Cp*] (16), have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. Comparison of the redox properties of 14 with those of its iron and ruthenium congeners shows that the first oxidation potential E1 varies as: Fe approximately Os < Ru. Whereas the Fe complex has been shown to undergo three sequential 1-electron oxidation processes within conventional electrochemical solvent windows, the Ru and Os compounds undergo no fewer than four sequential oxidation events giving rise to a five-membered series of redox related complexes [{M(dppe)Cp*}2(mu-C4)]n+ (n = 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4), the osmium derivatives being obtained at considerably lower potentials than the ruthenium analogues. These results are complimented by DFT and DT DFT calculations.  相似文献

The symmetric rhenium(V) oxo Schiff base complexes trans-[ReO(OH2)(acac2en)]Cl and trans-[ReOCl(acac2pn)], where acac2en and acac2pn are the tetradentate Schiff base ligands N,N'-ethylenebis(acetylacetone) diimine and N,N'-propylenebis(acetylacetone) diimine, respectively, were reacted with monodentate phosphine ligands to yield one of two unique cationic phosphine complexes depending on the ligand backbone length (en vs pn) and the identity of the phosphine ligand. Reduction of the Re(V) oxo core to Re(III) resulted on reaction of trans-[ReO(OH2)(acac2en)]Cl with triphenylphosphine or diethylphenylphosphine to yield a single reduced, disubstituted product of the general type trans-[Re(III)(PR3)2(acac2en)]+. Rather unexpectedly, a similar reaction with the stronger reducing agent triethylphosphine yielded the intramolecularly rearranged, asymmetric cis-[Re(V)O(PEt3)(acac2en)]+ complex. Reactions of trans-[Re(V)O(acac2pn)Cl] with the same phosphine ligands yielded only the rearranged asymmetric cis-[Re(V)O(PR3)(acac2pn)]+ complexes in quantitative yield. The compounds were characterized using standard spectroscopic methods, elemental analyses, cyclic voltammetry, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystallographic data for the structures reported are as follows: trans-[Re(III)(PPh3)2(acac2en)]PF6 (H48C48N2O2P2Re.PF6), 1, triclinic (P), a = 18.8261(12) A, b = 16.2517(10) A, c = 15.4556(10) A, alpha = 95.522(1) degrees , beta = 97.130(1) degrees , gamma = 91.350(1) degrees , V = 4667.4(5) A(3), Z = 4; trans-[Re(III)(PEt2Ph)2(acac2en)]PF6 (H48C32N2O2P2Re.PF6), 2, orthorhombic (Pccn), a = 10.4753(6) A, b =18.4315(10) A, c = 18.9245(11) A, V = 3653.9(4) A3, Z = 4; cis-[Re(V)O(PEt3)(acac2en)]PF6 (H33C18N2O3PRe.1.25PF6, 3, monoclinic (C2/c), a = 39.8194(15) A, b = 13.6187(5) A, c = 20.1777(8) A, beta = 107.7730(10) degrees , V = 10419.9(7) A3, Z = 16; cis-[Re(V)O(PPh3)(acac2pn)]PF6 (H35C31N2O3PRe.PF6), 4, triclinic (P), a = 10.3094(10) A, b =12.1196(12) A, c = 14.8146(15) A, alpha = 105.939(2) degrees , beta = 105.383(2) degrees , gamma = 93.525(2) degrees , V = 1698.0(3) A3, Z = 2; cis-[Re(V)O(PEt2Ph)(acac2pn)]PF6 (H35C23N2O3PRe.PF6), 5, monoclinic (P2(1)/n), a = 18.1183(18) A, b = 11.580(1) A, c = 28.519(3) A, beta = 101.861(2) degrees , V = 5855.9(10) A(3), Z = 4.  相似文献

The complexes [(eta5-RC5H4)Ru(CH3CN)3]PF6(R = H, CH3) react with DCVP (DCVP = Cy2PCH=CH2) at room temperature to produce the phosphaallyl complexes [(eta5-C5H5)Ru(eta1-DCVP)(eta3-DCVP)]PF6 and [(eta5-MeC5H4)Ru(eta1-DCVP)(eta3-DCVP)]PF6. Both compounds react with a variety of two-electron donor ligands displacing the coordinated vinyl moiety. In contrast, we failed to prepare the phosphaallyl complexes [(eta5-C5Me5)Ru(eta1-DCVP)(eta3-DCVP)]PF6, [(eta5-MeC5H4)Ru(CO)(eta3-DCVP)]PF6 and [(eta5-C5Me5)Ru(CO)(eta3-DPVP)]PF6(DPVP = Ph2PCH=CH2).The compounds [(eta5-MeC5H4)Ru(CO)(CH3CN)(DPVP)]PF6 and [(eta5-C5Me5)Ru(CO)(CH3CN)(DPVP)]PF6 react with DMPP (3,4-dimethyl-1-phenylphosphole) to undergo [4 + 2] Diels-Alder cycloaddition reactions at elevated temperature. Attempts at ruthenium catalyzed hydration of phenylacetylene produced neither acetophenone nor phenylacetaldehyde but rather dimers and trimers of phenylacetylene. The structures of the complexes described herein have been deduced from elemental analyses, infrared spectroscopy, 1H, 13C{1H}, 31P{1H} NMR spectroscopy and in several cases by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Two heterotrinuclear oligomeric complexes [trans-RuCl(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]Cpy-4)(dppm)(2)](2)[MCl(2)] (M = Pd ; M = Pt ) are prepared from the metalloligand trans-[RuCl(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]Cpy-4)(dppm)(2)] (dppm = Ph(2)PCH(2)PPh(2), ). The resultant linear alignment of the metals [Ru-M-Ru] is imposed by a combinative use of trans-directed spacers and planar metals with trans-juxtaposed donor sites. Ligand exchange of with [Pd(CH(3)CN)(4)][PF(6)](2) gives trans-[Ru(CH(3)CN)(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]Cpy-4)(dppm)(2)][PF(6)] (). All complexes are characterized by single-crystal X-ray crystallography and solution spectroscopy. Acid-base titration on suggested protonation of the pendant pyridyl. Complexes and also undergo protonation at the C[triple bond, length as m-dash]C moiety under acid conditions. The inter-conversion of alkynyl and vinylidene functionality is described. The dual acid and base characters of makes it a potential metalloligand towards basic and acidic fragments in multinuclear heterometallic assemblies.  相似文献

The acetylido methyl iron(II) complexes, cis/trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(CH(3))] (1) and trans-[Fe(depe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(CH(3))] (2) (dmpe = 1,2-dimethylphoshinoethane; depe = 1,2-diethylphosphinoethane), were synthesized by transmetalation from the corresponding alkyl halide complexes. Acetylido methyl iron(II) complexes were also formed by transmetalation from the chloride complexes, trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(Cl)] or trans-[Fe(depe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(Cl)]. The structure of trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(5))(CH(3))] (1a) was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The methyl acetylido iron complexes, [Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(CH(3))] (1), are thermally stable in the presence of acetylenes; however, under UV irradiation, methane is lost with the formation of a metal bisacetylide. Photochemical metathesis of cis- or trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(CH(3))(C[triple bond]CR)] (R = C(6)H(5) (1a), 4-C(6)H(4)OCH(3) (1b)) with terminal acetylenes was used to selectively synthesize unsymmetrically substituted iron(II) bisacetylide complexes of the type trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CR)(C[triple bond]CR')] [R = Ph, R' = Ph (6a), 4-CH(3)OC(6)H(4) (6b), (t)()Bu (6c), Si(CH(3))(3) (6d), (CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]CH (6e); R = 4-CH(3)OC(6)H(4), R' = 4-CH(3)OC(6)H(4), (6g), (t)()Bu (6h), (CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]CH (6i), adamantyl (6j)]. The structure of the unsymmetrical iron(II) bisacetylide complex trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(5))(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(4)OCH(3))] (6b) was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The photochemical metathesis of the bis-acetylene, 1,7-octadiyne, with trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(CH(3))(C[triple bond]CPh)] (1a), was utilized to synthesize the bridged binuclear species trans,trans-[(C(6)H(5)C[triple bond]C)Fe(dmpe)(2)(mu-C[triple bond]C(CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]C)Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(5))] (11). The trinuclear species trans,trans,trans-[(C(6)H(5)C[triple bond]C)Fe(dmpe)(2)(mu-C[triple bond]C(CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]C)Fe(dmpe)(2)(mu-C[triple bond]C(CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]C)Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(5))] (12) was synthesized by the photochemical reaction of Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CPh)(C[triple bond]C(CH(2))(4)C[triple bond]CH) (6e) with Fe(dmpe)(2)(CH(3))(2). Extended irradiation of the bisacetylide complexes with phenylacetylene resulted in insertion of the terminal alkyne into one of the metal acetylide bonds to give acetylide butenyne complexes. The structure of the acetylide butenyne complex, trans-[Fe(dmpe)(2)(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(4)OCH(3))(eta(1)-C(C(6)H(5))=CH(C[triple bond]CC(6)H(4)OCH(3)))] (9a) was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

The metal-mediated coupling between coordinated EtCN in the platinum(II) and platinum(IV) complexes cis- and trans-[PtCl(2)(EtCN)(2)], trans-[PtCl(4)(EtCN)(2)], a mixture of cis/trans-[PtCl(4)(EtCN)(2)] or [Ph(3)PCH(2)Ph][PtCl(n)(EtCN)] (n = 3, 5), and dialkyl- and dibenzylhydroxylamines R(2)NOH (R = Me, Et, CH(2)Ph, CH(2)C(6)H(4)Cl-p) proceeds smoothly in CH(2)Cl(2) at 20-25 degrees C and the subsequent workup allowed the isolation of new imino species [PtCl(n){NH=C(Et)ONR(2)}(2)] (n = 2, R = Me, cis-1 and trans-1; Et, cis-2 and trans-2; CH(2)Ph, cis-3 and trans-3; CH(2)C(6)H(4)Cl-p, cis-4 and trans-4; n = 4, R = Me, trans-9; Et, trans-10; CH(2)Ph, trans-11; CH(2)C(6)H(4)Cl-p, trans-12) or [Ph(3)PCH(2)Ph][PtCl(n){NH=C(Et)ONR(2)}] (n = 3, R = Me, 5; Et, 6; CH(2)Ph, 7; CH(2)C(6)H(4)Cl-p, 8; n = 5, R = Me, 13; Et, 14; CH(2)Ph, 15; CH(2)C(6)H(4)Cl-p, 16) in excellent to good (95-80%) isolated yields. The reduction of the Pt(IV) complexes 9-16 with the ylide Ph(3)P=CHCO(2)Me allows the synthesis of Pt(II) species 1-8. The compounds 1-16 were characterized by elemental analyses (C, H, N), FAB-MS, IR, (1)H, (13)C{(1)H}, and (31)P{(1)H} NMR (the latter for the anionic type complexes 5-8 and 13-16) and by X-ray crystallography for the Pt(II) (cis-1, cis-2, and trans-4) and Pt(IV) (15) species. Kinetic studies of addition of R(2)NOH (R = CH(2)C(6)H(4)Cl-p) to complexes [Ph(3)PCH(2)Ph][Pt(II)Cl(3)(EtCN)] and [Ph(3)PCH(2)Ph][Pt(IV)Cl(5)(EtCN)] by the (1)H NMR technique revealed that both reactions are first order in (p-ClC(6)H(4)CH(2))(2)NOH and Pt(II) or Pt(IV) complex, the second-order rate constant k(2) being three orders of magnitude larger for the Pt(IV) complex. The reactions are intermolecular in nature as proved by the independence of k(2) on the concentrations of added EtC triple bond N and Cl(-). These data and the calculated values of Delta H++ and Delta S++ are consistent with the mechanism involving the rate-limiting nucleophilic attack of the oxygen of (p-ClC(6)H(4)CH(2))(2)NOH at the sp-carbon of the C triple bond N bond followed by a fast proton migration.  相似文献

Iminoacylation of acetone oxime Me(2)C[double bond, length as m-dash]NOH upon reaction with trans-[PtCl(2)(NCCH(2)CO(2)Me)(2)] and [2 + 3] cycloaddition of acyclic nitrone (-)O(+)N(Me) = C(H)(C(6)H(4)Me-4) to a nitrile ligand in lead to the formation of mono-imine trans-[PtCl(2)(imine-a)(NCCH(2)CO(2)Me)] [imine-a = NH[double bond, length as m-dash]C(CH(2)CO(2)Me)ON = CMe(2)] and mono-oxadiazoline trans-[PtCl(2)(oxadiazoline-a)(NCCH(2)CO(2)Me)] [oxadiazoline-a = [upper bond 1 start]N[double bond, length as m-dash]C(CH(2)CO(2)Me)ON(Me)C[upper bond 1 end](H)(C(6)H(4)Me-4)] unsymmetric mixed ligand complexes, respectively, as the main products. Reactions of or with acetone oxime , cyclic nitrone (-)O(+)N = CHCH(2)CH(2)C[upper bond 1 end]Me(2) or N,N-diethylhydroxylamine give access, in moderate to good yields, to the unsymmetric mixed ligand oxadiazoline and/or imine complexes trans-[PtCl(2)(oxadiazoline-a)(imine-a)] , trans-[PtCl(2)(oxadiazoline-a)(oxadiazoline-b)] [oxadiazoline-b = [upper bond 1 start]N[double bond, length as m-dash]C(CH(2)CO(2)Me)O[lower bond 1 start]NC[upper bond 1 end](H)CH(2)CH(2)C[lower bond 1 end]Me(2)], trans-[PtCl(2)(imine-a)(imine-b)] [imine-b = NH = C(CH(2)CO(2)Me)ONEt(2)] or trans-[PtCl(2)(imine-a)(oxadiazoline-b)] . The cis mono-imine mixed ligand complex cis-[PtCl(2)(imine-a)(NCCH(2)CO(2)Me)] is the major product from the reaction of cis-[PtCl(2)(NCCH(2)CO(2)Me)(2)] with the oxime , while the di-imine compound cis-[PtCl(2)(imine-a)(2)] is a minor product. Reaction of cis-[PtCl(2)(imine-a)(NCCH(2)CO(2)Me)] with N,N-diethylhydroxylamine or the cyclic nitrone affords, in good yields, the unsymmetric mixed ligand complexes cis-[PtCl(2)(imine-a)(imine-b)] or cis-[PtCl(2)(imine-a)(oxadiazoline-b)] , respectively. All these complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, IR and (1)H, (13)C and (195)Pt NMR spectroscopies, and FAB(+)-MS. The X-ray structural analysis of trans-[PtCl(2){NH=C(CH(2)CO(2)Me)ON=CMe(2)}(NCCH(2)CO(2)Me)] is also reported.  相似文献

Reactions of [PdCl2(COD)] with 1 equiv. of the iminophosphorane-phosphine ligands Ph2PCH2P{=NP(=O)(OR)2}Ph2 (R=Et, Ph) lead to the novel Pd(II) derivatives cis-[PdCl2(kappa2-(P,N)-Ph2PCH2P{=NP(=O)(OR)2}Ph2)] (R=Et, Ph). Pd-N bond cleavage readily takes place upon treatment of these species with a variety of two-electron donor ligands. By this way, complexes cis-[PdCl2(kappa1-(P)-Ph2PCH2P{=NP(=O)(OR)2}Ph2)(L)] (R=Et, L=CNtBu, CN-2,6-C6H3Me2, py, P(OMe)3, P(OEt)3; R=Ph, L=CNtBu, CN-2,6-C6H3Me2, py, P(OMe)3, P(OEt)3) have been synthesized in high yields. The addition of two equivalents of ligands to dichloromethane solutions of [PdCl2(COD)] results in the formation of complexes trans-[PdCl2(kappa1-(P)-Ph2PCH2P{=NP(=O)(OR)2}Ph2)2] (R=Et, Ph), which can be converted into the dicationic species [Pd(Ph2PCH2P{=NP(=O)(OR)2}Ph2)2][SbF6]2 (R=Et, Ph) by treatment with AgSbF6. Complex also reacts with CNtBu to afford trans-[Pd(kappa1(P)-Ph2PCH2P{=NP(=O)(OPh)2}Ph2)2(CNtBu)2][SbF6]2. The structures of and have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods. In addition, the ability of these Pd(II) complexes to promote the catalytic cycloisomerization of (Z)-3-methylpent-2-en-4-yn-1-ol into 2,3-dimethylfuran has also been studied.  相似文献

Systematic synthesis routes have been developed for the linear-shaped rhenium(I) oligomers and polymers bridged with bidentate phosphorus ligands, [Re(N--N)(CO)3-PP-{Re(N--N)(CO)2-PP-}(n)Re(N--N)(CO)3](PF6)(n+2) (N--N = diimine, PP = bidentate phosphine, n = 0-18). These were isolated by size exclusion chromatography (SEC) and identified by (1)H NMR, IR, electrospray ionization Fourier transform mass spectrometry, analytical SEC, and elemental analysis. Crystal structures of [Re(bpy)(CO)3-Ph2PC[triple bond]CPPh2-Re(bpy)(CO)3](PF6)2, [Re(bpy)(CO)3-Ph2PC[triple bond]CPPh2-Re(bpy)(CO)2-Ph2PC[triple bond]CPPh2-Re(bpy)(CO)3](PF6)3 and [Re(bpy)(CO)3-Ph2PC2H4PPh2-{Re(bpy)(CO)2Ph2PC2H4PPh2-}(n)Re(bpy)(CO)3](PF6)(n+2) (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, n = 1, 2) were obtained, showing that they have interligand pi-pi interaction between the bpy ligand and the phenyl groups on the phosphorus ligand. All of the oligomers and polymers synthesized were emissive at room temperature in solution. For the dimers, broad emission was observed with a maximum at 523-545 nm, from the (3)MLCT excited-state of the tricarbonyl complex unit, [Re(N--N)(CO)3-PP-]. Emission from the longer oligomers and polymers with > or = 3 Re(I) units was observed at wavelengths 50-60 nm longer than those of the corresponding dimers. This fact and the emission decay results clearly show that energy transfer from the edge unit to the interior unit occurs with a rate constant of (0.9 x 10(8))-(2.5 x 10(8)) s(-1). The efficient energy transfer and the smaller exclusive volume of the longer Re(I) polymers indicated intermolecular aggregation for these polymers in an MeCN solution.  相似文献

The synthesis and spectroscopic properties of trans-[RuL4(C[triple bond]CAr)2] (L4 = two 1,2-bis(dimethylphosphino)ethane, (dmpe)2; 1,5,9,13-tetramethyl-1,5,9,13-tetraazacyclohexadecane, 16-TMC; 1,12-dimethyl-3,4:9,10-dibenzo-1,12-diaza-5,8-dioxacyclopentadecane, N2O2) are described. Investigations into the effects of varying the [RuL4] core, acetylide ligands, and acetylide chain length for the [(-)C[triple bond]C(C6H4C[triple bond]C)(n-1)Ph] and [(-)C[triple bond]C(C6H4)(n-1)Ph] (n = 1-3) series upon the electronic and electrochemical characteristics of trans-[RuL4(C[triple bond]CAr)2](0/+) are presented. DFT and TD-DFT calculations have been performed on trans-[Ru(L')4(C[triple bond]CAr)2](0/+) (L' = PH3 and NH3) to examine the metal-acetylide pi-interaction and the nature of the associated electronic transition(s). It was observed that (1) the relationship between the transition energy and 1/n for trans-[Ru(dmpe)2{C[triple bond]C(C6H4C[triple bond]C)(n-1)Ph}2] (n = 1-3) is linear, and (2) the sum of the d(pi)(Ru(II)) --> pi*(C[triple bond]CAr) MLCT energy for trans-[Ru(16-TMC or N2O2)(C[triple bond]CAr)2] and the pi(C[triple bond]CAr) --> d(pi)(Ru(III)) LMCT energy for trans-[Ru(16-TMC or N2O2)(C[triple bond]CAr)2]+ corresponds to the intraligand pi pi* absorption energy for trans-[Ru(16-TMC or N2O2)(C[triple bond]CAr)2]. The crystal structure of trans-[Ru(dmpe)2{C[triple bond]C(C6H4C[triple bond]C)2Ph}2] shows that the two edges of the molecule are separated by 41.7 A. The electrochemical and spectroscopic properties of these complexes can be systematically tuned by modifying L4 and Ar to give E(1/2) values for oxidation of trans-[RuL4(C[triple bond]CAr)2] that span over 870 mV and lambda(max) values of trans-[RuL4(C[triple bond]CAr)2] that range from 19,230 to 31,750 cm(-1). The overall experimental findings suggest that the pi-back-bonding interaction in trans-[RuL4(C[triple bond]CAr)2] is weak and the [RuL4] moiety in these molecules may be considered to be playing a "dopant" role in a linear rigid pi-conjugated rod.  相似文献

Binuclear beta-diketonatoruthenium(III) complexes [[Ru(acac)(2)](2)(tae)], [[Ru(phpa)(2)](2)(tae)], and [(acac)(2)Ru(tae)Ru(phpa)(2)] and binuclear and mononuclear bipyridine complexes [[Ru(bpy)(2)](2)(tae)](PF(6))(2) and [Ru(bpy)(2)(Htae)]PF(6) (acac = 2,4-pentanedionate ion, phpa = 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-3,5-heptanedionate ion, tae = 1,1,2,2-tetraacetylethanate dianion, and bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine) were synthesized. The new complexes have been characterized by (1)H NMR, MS, and electronic spectral data. Crystal and molecular structures of [[Ru(acac)(2)](2)(tae)] have been solved by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. Crystal data for the meso isomer of [[Ru(acac)(2)](2)(tae)] have been confirmed by the dihedral angle result that two acetylacetone units of the bridging tae ligand are almost perpendicular to one another. A detailed investigation on the electrochemistry of the binuclear complexes has been carried out. The electrochemical behavior details of the binuclear complexes have been compared with those of the mononuclear complexes obtained from the half-structures of the corresponding binuclear complexes. Studies on the effects of solvents on the mixed-valence states of Ru(II)-Ru(III) and Ru(III)-Ru(IV) complexes have been carried out by various voltammetric and electrospectroscopic techniques. A correlation between the comproportionation constant (K(c)) and the donor number of the solvent has been obtained. The K(c) values for the binuclear complexes have been found to be low because of the fact that two acetylacetone units of the bridging tae ligand are not in the same plane, as revealed by the crystal structure of [[Ru(acac)(2)](2)(tae)].  相似文献

Treatment of trans-[FeCl(2)(dmpe)(2)] with phenylhydrazine and 1 equiv of base afforded the side-on bound phenylhydrazido complex cis-[Fe(η(2)-NH(2)NPh)(dmpe)(2)](+). Further deprotonation of the phenylhydrazido complex afforded the side-on bound phenyldiazene complex cis-[Fe(η(2)-HN═NPh)(dmpe)(2)] as a mixture of diastereomers. Treatment of cis-[RuCl(2)(dmpe)(2)] with phenylhydrazine or methylhydrazine afforded the end-on bound phenylhydrazine or methylhydrazine complexes cis-[RuCl(η(1)-NH(2)NHR)(dmpe)(2)](+) (R = Ph, Me). Treatment of the substituted hydrazine complexes with base afforded the side-on bound phenylhydrazido complex cis-[Ru(η(2)-NH(2)NPh)(dmpe)(2)](+) as well as the phenyldiazene and methyldiazene complexes cis-[Ru(η(2)-HN═NR)(dmpe)(2)] (R = Ph, Me). cis-[RuCl(η(1)-NH(2)NHR)(dmpe)(2)](+) (R = Ph, Me), cis-[M(η(2)-NH(2)NPh)(dmpe)(2)](+) (M = Fe, Ru) and cis-[Ru(η(2)-HN═NPh)(dmpe)(2)] were characterized structurally by X-ray crystallography. cis-[Ru(η(2)-HN═NPh)(dmpe)(2)] is the first side-on bound phenyldiazene complex to be structurally characterized. In the structure of cis-[Ru(η(2)-HN═NPh)(dmpe)(2)], the geometry of the coordinated diazene fragment is significantly nonplanar (CNNH angle 137°) suggesting that the complex is probably better described as a Ru(II) metallodiaziridine than a Ru(0) diazene π-complex.  相似文献

Reaction of the antitumor complex trans-[Ru(III)Cl4(Hind)2]- (Hind = indazole) with an excess of dimethyl sulfoxide (dmso) in acetone afforded the complex trans,trans,trans-[Ru(II)Cl2(dmso)2(Hind)2] (1). Two other isomeric compounds trans,cis,cis-[Ru(II)Cl2(dmso)2(Hind)2] (2) and cis,cis,cis-[Ru(II)Cl2(dmso)2(Hind)2] (3) have been obtained on refluxing cis-[Ru(II)Cl(2)(dmso)(4)] with 2 equiv. of indazole in ethanol and methanol, respectively. Isomers 1 and 2 react with acetonitrile yielding the complexes trans-[Ru(II)Cl2(dmso)(Hind){HN=C(Me)ind}].CH3CN (4.CH3CN) and trans,cis-[Ru(II)Cl2(dmso)2{HN=C(Me)ind}].H2O (5.H2O), respectively, containing a cyclic amidine ligand resulting from insertion of the acetonitrile C triple bond N group in the N1-H bond of the N2-coordinated indazole ligand in the nomenclature used for 1H-indazole. These are the first examples of the metal-assisted iminoacylation of indazole. The products isolated have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, UV-vis spectroscopy, electrospray mass-spectrometry, thermogravimetry, differential scanning calorimetry, 1H NMR spectroscopy, and solid-state 13C CP MAS NMR spectroscopy. The isomeric structures of 1-3 and the presence of a chelating amidine ligand in 4 and 5 have been confirmed by X-ray crystallography. The electrochemical behavior of 1-5 and the formation of 5 have been studied by cyclic voltammetry.  相似文献

A series of new dicationic dihydrogen complexes of ruthenium of the type cis-[(dppm)(2)Ru(eta(2)-H(2))(L)][BF(4)](2) (dppm = Ph(2)PCH(2)PPh(2); L = P(OMe)(3), P(OEt)(3), PF(O(i)Pr)(2)) have been prepared by protonating the precursor hydride complexes cis-[(dppm)(2)Ru(H)(L)][BF(4)] (L = P(OMe)(3), P(OEt)(3), P(O(i)Pr)(3)) using HBF(4).Et(2)O. The cis-[(dppm)(2)Ru(H)(L)][BF(4)] complexes were obtained from the trans hydrides via an isomerization reaction that is acid-accelerated. This isomerization reaction gives mixtures of cis and trans hydride complexes, the ratios of which depend on the cone angles of the phosphite ligands: the greater the cone angle, the greater is the amount of the cis isomer. The eta(2)-H(2) ligand in the dihydrogen complexes is labile, and the loss of H(2) was found to be reversible. The protonation reactions of the starting hydrides with trans PMe(3) or PMe(2)Ph yield mixtures of the cis and the trans hydride complexes; further addition of the acid, however, give trans-[(dppm)(2)Ru(BF(4))Cl]. The roles of the bite angles of the dppm ligand as well as the steric and the electronic properties of the monodentate phosphorus ligands in this series of complexes are discussed. X-ray crystal structures of trans-[(dppm)(2)Ru(H)(P(OMe)(3))][BF(4)], cis-[(dppm)(2)Ru(H)(P(OMe)(3))][BF(4)], and cis-[(dppm)(2)Ru(H)(P(O(i)Pr)(3))][BF(4)] complexes have been determined.  相似文献

Reduction of [M(CO)2(eta-RC[triple bond]CR')Tp']X {Tp' = hydrotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borate, M = Mo, X = [PF6]-, R = R' = Ph, C6H4OMe-4 or Me; R = Ph, R' = H; M = W, X = [BF4]-, R = R' = Ph or Me; R = Ph, R' = H} with [Co(eta-C5H5)2] gave paramagnetic [M(CO)2(eta-RC[triple bond]CR')Tp'], characterised by IR and ESR spectroscopy. X-Ray structural studies on the redox pair [Mo(CO)2(eta-PhC[triple bond]CPh)Tp'] and [Mo(CO)2(eta-PhC[triple bond]CPh)Tp'][PF6] showed that oxidation is accompanied by a lengthening of the C[triple bond]C bond and shortening of the Mo-C(alkyne) bonds, consistent with removal of an electron from an orbital antibonding with respect to the Mo-alkyne bond, and with conversion of the alkyne from a three- to a four-electron donor. Reduction of [Mo(CO)(NCMe)(eta-MeC[triple bond]CMe)Tp'][PF6] with [Co(eta-C5H5)2] in CH2Cl2 gives [MoCl(CO)(eta-MeC[triple bond]CMe)Tp'], via nitrile substitution in [Mo(CO)(NCMe)(eta-MeC[triple bond]CMe)Tp'], whereas a similar reaction with [M(CO){P(OCH2)3CEt}(eta-MeC[triple bond]CMe)Tp']+ (M = Mo or W) gives the phosphite-containing radicals [M(CO){P(OCH2)3CEt}(eta-MeC[triple bond]CMe)Tp']. ESR spectroscopic studies and DFT calculations on [M(CO)L(eta-MeC[triple bond]CMe)Tp'] {M = Mo or W, L = CO or P(OCH2)3CEt} show the SOMO of the neutral d5 species (the LUMO of the d4 cations) to be largely d(yz) in character although much more delocalised in the W complexes. Non-coincidence effects between the g and metal hyperfine matrices in the Mo spectra indicate hybridisation of the metal d-orbitals in the SOMO, consistent with a rotation of the coordinated alkyne about the M-C2 axis.  相似文献

The complexes [(H3N)5Ru(II)(mu-NC)Mn(I)Lx]2+, prepared from [Ru(OH2)(NH3)5]2+ and [Mn(CN)L(x)] {L(x) = trans-(CO)2{P(OPh)3}(dppm); cis-(CO)2(PR3)(dppm), R = OEt or OPh; (PR3)(NO)(eta-C5H4Me), R = Ph or OPh}, undergo two sequential one-electron oxidations, the first at the ruthenium centre to give [(H3N)5Ru(III)(mu-NC)Mn(I)Lx]3+; the osmium(III) analogues [(H3N)5Os(III)(mu-NC)Mn(I)Lx]3+ were prepared directly from [Os(NH3)5(O3SCF3)]2+ and [Mn(CN)Lx]. Cyclic voltammetry and electronic spectroscopy show that the strong solvatochromism of the trications depends on the hydrogen-bond accepting properties of the solvent. Extensive hydrogen bonding is also observed in the crystal structures of [(H3N)5Ru(III)(mu-NC)Mn(I)(PPh3)(NO)(eta-C5H4Me)][PF6]3.2Me2CO.1.5Et2O, [(H3N)5Ru(III)(mu-NC)Mn(I)(CO)(dppm)2-trans][PF6]3.5Me2CO and [(H3N)5Ru(III)(mu-NC)Mn(I)(CO)2{P(OEt)3}(dppm)-trans][PF6]3.4Me2CO, between the amine groups (the H-bond donors) at the Ru(III) site and the oxygen atoms of solvent molecules or the fluorine atoms of the [PF6]- counterions (the H-bond acceptors).  相似文献

A series of cyanide-bridged complexes that combine a low-valent photoacceptor rhenium(I) metal center with an electroactive midvalent rhenium(V) complex were prepared. The synthesis involved the preparation of novel asymmetric rhenium(V) oxo compounds, cis-Re(V)O(CN)(acac(2)en) (1) and cis-Re(V)O(CN)(acac(2)pn) (2), formed by reacting trans-[Re(V)O(OH(2))(acac(2)en)]Cl or trans-Re(V)O(acac(2)pn)Cl with [NBu(4)][CN]. The μ-bridged cyanide mixed-oxidation Re(V)-Re(I) complexes were prepared by incubating the asymmetric complexes, 1 or 2, with fac-[Re(I)(bipy)(CO)(3)][OTf] to yield cis-[Re(V)O(acac(2)en)(μ-CN-1κC:2κN)-fac-Re(I)(bipy)(CO)(3)][PF(6)] (3) and [cis-Re(V)O(acac(2)pn)(μ-CN-1κC:2κN)-fac-Re(I)(bipy)(CO)(3)][PF(6)] (4), respectively.  相似文献
