Fish maws are commonly recommended and consumed in Asia over many centuries because it is believed to have some traditional medical properties. This study highlights and provides new information on the proximate composition, amino acid and fatty acid composition of fish maws of Cynoscion acoupa, Congresox talabonoides and Sciades proops. The results indicated that fish maws were excellent protein sources and low in fat content. The proteins in fish maws were rich in functional amino acids (FAAs) and the ratio of FAAs and total amino acids in fish maws ranged from 0.68 to 0.69. Among species, croaker C. acoupa contained the most polyunsaturated fatty acids, arachidonic acid, docosahexaenoic acid and eicosapntemacnioc acid, showing the lowest value of index of atherogenicity and index of thrombogenicity, showing the highest value of hypocholesterolemic/hypercholesterolemic ratio, which is the most desirable.  相似文献

Two different relatively simple, commercially available supercritical fluid extractors (SFE), Leco and Foss-Tecator, were tested for the determination of total fat content in meat and meat products. The fatty acid composition in meat and meat products was also determined after the Foss-Tecator extraction in an aliquot of the extract. Total fat was determined by weighing after the different extraction procedures and the fatty acid composition by gas chromatography after hydrolysis and methylation of the extract. The results for total fat content agreed well with results from a standard method of Schmid, Bondzynski, and Ratzlaff, which uses conventional solvent extraction. Fatty acid composition was compared with the Bligh and Dyer extraction, and showed good agreement. The average relative difference between SFE and Bligh and Dyer of all fatty acids in the sample was <3% for acids exceeding 0.5% of total fatty acid amount. The advantages of SFE over traditional methods are a much lower consumption of hazardous organic solvents and shorter extraction times. To obtain quantitative recoveries by SFE, ethanol was added to the extraction cells before extraction.  相似文献

鳗鱼加工下脚料(头、骨等)所得鱼油经甲酯化处理后,用GC和GC-MS进行了脂肪酸的组成分析,共签定出27个组分,它们占色谱峰总面积的97.9%。其主组分为油酸、棕榈酸、棕榈油酸,并含有廿碳五烯酸、廿二碳六烯酸,与鳗鱼肉中油的化学组成类似,具有开发利用的价值。  相似文献

A rapid and simple method for the isolation of fatty acid methyl esters and fatty alcohols from the lipid fraction of marine zooplankton is described. Wax esters are the dominant lipid class in most calanoid copepods and trans-esterification results in a high fatty alcohol content in the analytical extract. Current procedures for the separation and purification of lipid classes by preparative thin-layer chromatography are time-consuming and are subject to low recovery of the analytes. In this method, fatty acid methyl esters and fatty alcohols were separated by liquid chromatography using silica or honded amino-silica as the stationary phase. The procedure is equally applicable to the analysis of zooplankton with low wax ester (and hence fatty alcohol) content, for example, a number of species of euphausiid and, generally, for samples of low mass.  相似文献

The fatty acid composition of five endemic Bupleurum (Apiaceae) species was analysed by GC technique for their nutritional value. The amount of oil content of the species varied from 3.77% to 7.03%. Twenty-one fatty acids were identified in the oils. The fatty acid composition of the studied species contained oleic, palmitic and linoleic acids as the major components. Oleic acid ranged from 8.81% to 68.30%, while the levels of palmitic acid were found to be between 12.47% and 47.85%. Bupleurum lycaonicum, Bupleurum sulphureum and Bupleurum heldreichii are very good sources of oleic acid. The remaining species were characterised as containing the highest level of palmitic acid. In this study, the total saturated fatty acids ranged between 15.02 and 65.20%, while total monounsaturated fatty acids were between 18.10 and 70.65%. The total polyunsaturated fatty acid accounted for 13.47-35.20% of the studied fatty acids. Therefore, we can conclude that Bupleurum oils have a significant nutritional value.  相似文献

Multivariate statistics were applied to analyse the relationships between fatty acids and triacylglycerols in virgin olive oil. The chemical significance of factors obtained by applying principal components analysis to both sets of variables was established, and this method is proposed as a useful tool for obtaining information about the biosynthetic route of fatty acids and its regulation. Finally, because both sets of data present the same latent structure, multiple regression analysis is proposed for determining the triacylglycerol composition of an oil according to its fatty acid composition.  相似文献

本文研究维药柽柳实中脂肪酸的化学成分。采用石油醚和乙醚两种溶剂提取柽柳实中的脂肪酸,经甲酯化后,使用气质联用技术对脂肪酸的组成及含量进行检测。结果表明,两种方法分别鉴定出18种和17种脂肪酸成分,占提取成分总峰面积的99.33%和89.65%,两者所包含的成分基本一致,但含量有一定的差异。石油醚和乙醚提取物中分别鉴定出棕榈酸(35.61%和32.77%),亚油酸(27.26%和18.76%)和油酸(11.33%和9.15%)等脂肪酸,其中不饱和脂肪酸含量分别占总脂肪酸含量的38.59%和27.91%。维药柽柳实中富含不饱和脂肪酸,具有很好的开发利用价值。  相似文献

The connection between chocolate and cocoa is studied. As cocoa is produced in different countries, samples coming from the same geographical region are analysed. The analyses focus on the characterisation of the considered samples for different aspects of quality and to individuate the original locations of production, also connecting this with the nutritional aspects. For this purpose, qualitative and quantitative traditional analysis and determination of fatty acid content are performed. The obtained experimental data show interesting correlations. The percentages of fatty acids computed allow for distinctions to be made among cocoa and chocolate samples. Furthermore, a relation can be assumed among the data obtained for primary matters and final products corresponding to countries being positioned on the same latitude, even if they are situated in different continents.  相似文献

The phospholipid compositions of five species of marine ophiuroids belonging to the classOphiuroidea have been investigated. It has been shown that the phosphatidylethanolamines contain almost solely ether bonds in the first position of the glycerophospholipids. The amount of the plasmalogen form in the phosphatidylethanolamines averages 89.8% (82.3–96.2%) and the amount of the alkyl form 9.8% (3.8–17.7%). The compositions of the fatty acids, fatty aldehydes, and alkyl ethers in the two main classes of phospholipids — phosphatidylethanolamine and phosphatidylcholine — have been studied. The main acids found were eicosatetraenoic and eicosapentaenoic, the total amount of which was 53%. It has been shown that the ophiuroids can be used as promising objects for the investigation of the metabolism of alkoxylipids and for their preparative isolation.  相似文献

Tree cultivars (Jupiter, Sejnov, and Elit) of walnut (Juglans regia L.) were collected during the 2004 harvest from Cacak, Central Serbia. The chemical composition, including moisture, total oil content, crude protein, ash, and carbohydrates, was determined. Afterwards, two techniques of oil extraction were implemented: cold pressing extraction and organic solvent extraction. Iodine value, saponification value, acid value, and peroxide value of obtained walnut oils were analyzed. The fatty acid composition of the walnut oils was determined using gas chromatography with flame ionization detector. The oleic acid content of the oils ranged from 15.9–23.7% of the total acids, while linoleic acid content ranged from 57.2–65.1% and the linolenic acid from 9.1–13.6%. A study is conducted to determine the amino acid, fatty acid, and carbohydrate content of breadfruit using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography (GC). An HPLC method is used for the determination of amino acids and fatty acids in breadfruit. Representative amino acid samples are derivatized with phenylisothiocianate and the resulting phenylthiocarbamyl derivatives are separated on a reversed-phase column by gradient elution with a 0.05M ammonium acetate buffer and 0.01M ammonium acetate in acetonitrile-methanol-water (44:10:46, v/v). Representative fatty acid samples are derivatized with phenacyl bromide and the resulting fatty acid phenacyl esters are separated on a reversed-phase column by gradient elution with acetonitrile and water. Amino acid and fatty acid derivatives are detected by ultraviolet detection at 254 nm. The analysis of the carbohydrates in breadfruit employs a GC method. Carbohydrates are derivatized using trimethylchlorosilane and hexamethyldisilazane to form trimethylsilyl ethers. Compounds in the samples are separated by the temperature programming of a GC using nitrogen as the carrier gas. Percent recoveries of amino acids, fatty acids, and carbohydrates are 72.5%, 68.2%, and 81.4%, respectively. The starch content of the breadfruit is 15.52 g/100 g fresh weight.  相似文献

The fatty acid composition of adipose tissue was studied in a population in western Andalusia with a diet in which the fat contribution is mainly from olive oil. The lipid composition of adipose tissue, including the fatty acid composition of triacylglycerols, was examined by capillary gas chromatography. Thirty-five peaks were resolved, ranging in chain length from 12 to 24 carbon atoms, including geometric and positional isomers. The major triacylglycerol was POO, followed by PLO and OOO.  相似文献

The oil contents and the fatty acid compositions of the lipids of cotton seeds of varieties AN-402 and AN-9 grown under the influence of ultradisperse powders (UDPs) of iron and copper have been studied. Changes in the absolute weight, oil content, and fatty acid composition of the seeds have been shown. The lipid composition of rat caecal mucosa, including the fatty acid composition of phospholipids and triacylglycerols, has been examined by capillary gas chromatography. Thirty-seven peaks were resolved, ranging in chain length from 12 to 24 carbon atoms. Preliminary identification of fatty acids by comparison with authentic standards was confirmed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry using electron-impact ionization. The neutral and polar components were examined. Fatty acid methyl esters were quantified in absolute amounts with respect to the percentage of total phospholipid and triacylglycerols. The results show significantly higher levels of 16:0, 18:0, 18:1(n-9), 18:1(n-7), 18:2(n-6) and 20:4(n-6) in phospholipids, and higher levels of 16:0, 18:1(n-9) and 18:2(n-6) in triacylglycerols. On the other hand, analysis of caecal triacylglycerols revealed sn-glycerol-palmitate-oleate-palmitate, sn-glycerol-palmitate-linoleate-palmitate and sn-glycerol-palmitate-linoleate-oleate as major components.  相似文献
