1H NMR spectroscopy and fluorescent intercalator displacement (FID) assays have been used to investigate the DNA-binding abilities of two series of dinuclear polypyridyl ruthenium(II) complexes of the form [{Ru(L)2}2(mu-BL)]4+ {L = 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy), 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (Me2bpy), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), or 4,7-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (Me2phen); BL = 2,2'-bipyrimidine (bpm) or 1,4,5,8,9,12-hexaazatriphenylene (HAT)}. Preliminary FID surveys of these metal complexes against a variety of different oligonucleotides revealed that those complexes based upon the HAT bridging ligand induced greater fluorescence decreases in dye-bound DNA than did their bpm-bridged counterparts, suggesting a higher binding affinity by the HAT-bridged species. Furthermore, the greatest fluorescence decreases were typically observed in an oligonucleotide featuring a six-base hairpin loop. The apparent binding affinity of the metal complexes was also found to be a function of the stereochemistry and identity of the terminal ligands of the complex. The meso (DeltaLambda) stereoisomer generally induced greater fluorescence decreases than did either enantiomer (DeltaDelta or LambdaLambda), phen-based terminal ligands performed better than bpy-based terminal ligands, and those terminal ligands with methyl substituents demonstrated stronger apparent binding than did their non-methylated analogues. NMR experiments on meso-[{Ru(phen)2}2(mu-HAT)]4+ and meso-[{Ru(Me2phen)2}2(mu-HAT)]4+ demonstrated that both complexes bound with high affinity to the six-base hairpin oligonucleotide at the stem-loop interface and provided evidence to support stronger binding by the methylated species. meso-[{Ru(phen)2}2(mu-HAT)]4+ was found to bind poorly to duplex DNA and smaller four-base hairpin loops in FID and NMR experiments, whereas FID data suggest that the methylated analogue binds relatively strongly to most oligonucleotide sequences (the four- and six-base hairpins in particular). These results demonstrate that binding affinity can come at the expense of selectivity, with meso-[{Ru(phen)2}2(mu-HAT)]4+ proving to be an efficient compromise between the two as a high-affinity DNA hairpin probe.  相似文献

1H NMR spectroscopy and molecular modelling have been used to investigate the binding of the DeltaDelta-and LambdaLambda-enantiomers of the dinuclear ruthenium(II) complex [[Ru(Me2bpy)2]2(mu-bpm)]4+ [Me2bpy = 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine; bpm = 2,2'-bipyrimidine] to an RNA tridecanucleotide duplex containing a single-base bulge [r(CCGAGAAUUCCGG)2]], and the corresponding control dodecanucleotide [r(CCGGAAUUCCGG)2]. Both enantiomers bound the control RNA sequence weakly. From upfield shifts of the metal complex H3 and H3' protons throughout the titration of the control dodecanucleotide with DeltaDelta-[[Ru(Me2bpy)2]2(mu-bpm)]4+, a binding constant of 1 x 10(3) M(-1) was determined. In NOESY spectra of the control sequence with added DeltaDelta-[[Ru(Me2bpy)2]2(mu-bpm)]4+, NOEs were only observed to protons from the terminal base-pair residues. No significant changes in chemical shift were observed for either the metal complex or RNA protons upon addition of the LambdaLambda-enantiomer to the control dodecanucleotide. The DeltaDelta-[[Ru(Me2bpy)2]2(mu-bpm)]4+ complex bound the bulge-containing RNA with a significantly greater affinity (6 x 10(4) M(-1)) than the non-bulge control RNA duplex. Competition binding experiments indicated that the LambdaLambda-isomer bound the tridecanucleotide with similar affinity to the DeltaDelta-enantiomer. Addition of DeltaDelta-[[Ru(Me2bpy)2]2(mu-bpm)]4+ to the bulge-containing tridecanucleotide induced selective changes in chemical shift for the base H8 and sugar H1' resonances from the adenine bulge residue, and resonances from nucleotide residues adjacent to the bulge site. Intermolecular NOEs observed in NOESY spectra of the tridecanucleotide with added DeltaDelta-[[Ru(Me2bpy)2]2(mu-bpm)]4+ confirmed the selective binding of the ruthenium complex at the bulge site. Preliminary binding models, consistent with the NMR data, showed that the ruthenium complex could effectively associate in the RNA minor groove at the bulge site.  相似文献

Herein, we report on the binding of optically pure ruthenium complexes Delta- or Lambda-[Ru(bpy)(2)(L-L)][PF(6)](2) [L-L = Hcmbpy = 4-carboxy-4'-methyl-2,2'-bipyridine (1), L-L = H(2)dcbpy = 4,4'-dicarboxy-2,2'-bipyridine (2)] to DNA. The binding constants of the two enantiomeric Delta-1 and Lambda-1 complexes to DNA were estimated from titration monitored by (1)H NMR spectroscopy. 2D transferred NOESY (TRNOESY) experiments support the conclusion that Delta-1 and Lambda-1 bind to DNA and that an intermediate-to-fast exchange occurs between bound and free Ru(II) complex. Further, evidence for enantioselective DNA cleavage by Delta-2 is provided by means of gel electrophoresis performed in the presence and in the absence of light; in contrast, the Lambda-2 enantiomer does not. The IR spectrum of enantiomer Delta-2 (or Lambda-2) compared to that of the racemate (rac-2) gives evidence that, in the latter form, the enantiomers are strongly associated. Moreover the X-ray structure of rac-2 was also determined and exhibits as an outstanding feature the formation of a one-dimensional supramolecular species in which the cohesion of the system is maintained by strong hydrogen bonding between carboxylic acid groups of enantiomers Delta-2 and Lambda-2 (cationic parts) with d(O...O) = 2.6 A in agreement with the infrared results. The conclusion that can be drawn from IR and X-ray spectroscopies together is that the self-association in rac-2 is strong.  相似文献

Ruthenium aqua complexes [(eta(6)-C(6)Me(6))Ru(II)(L)(OH(2))](2+) {L = bpy (1) and 4,4'-OMe-bpy (2), bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, 4,4'-OMe-bpy = 4,4'-dimethoxy-2,2'-bipyridine} and iridium aqua complexes [Cp*Ir(III)(L)(OH(2))](2+) {Cp* = eta(5)-C(5)Me(5), L = bpy (5) and 4,4'-OMe-bpy (6)} act as catalysts for hydrogenation of CO(2) into HCOOH at pH 3.0 in H(2)O. The active hydride catalysts cannot be observed in the hydrogenation of CO(2) with the ruthenium complexes, whereas the active hydride catalysts, [Cp*Ir(III)(L)(H)](+) {L = bpy (7) and 4,4'-OMe-bpy (8)}, have successfully been isolated after the hydrogenation of CO(2) with the iridium complexes. The key to the success of the isolation of the active hydride catalysts is the change in the rate-determining step in the catalytic hydrogenation of CO(2) from the formation of the active hydride catalysts, [(eta(6)-C(6)Me(6))Ru(II)(L)(H)](+), to the reactions of [Cp*Ir(III)(L)(H)](+) with CO(2), as indicated by the kinetic studies.  相似文献

We report the synthesis of free 1,6,7,12-tetraazaperylene (tape). Tape was obtained from 1,1'-bis-2,7-naphthyridine by potassium promoted cyclization followed by oxidation with air. Mono- and dinuclear ruthenium(II) 1,6,7,12-tetraazaperylene complexes of the general formulas [Ru(L-L)(2)(tape)](PF(6))(2), [1](PF(6))(2)-[5](PF(6))(2), and [{Ru(L-L)(2)}(2)(μ-tape)](PF(6))(4), [6](PF(6))(4)-[10](PF(6))(4), with{L-L = phen, bpy, dmbpy (4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine), dtbbpy (4,4'-ditertbutyl-2,2'-bipyridine) and tmbpy (4,4'5,5'-tetramethyl-2,2'-bipyridine)}, respectively, were synthesized. The X-ray structures of tape·2CHCl(3) and the mononuclear complexes [Ru(bpy)(2)(tape)](PF(6))(2)·0.5CH(3)CN·0.5toluene, [Ru(dmbpy)(2)(tape)](PF(6))(2)·2toluene and [Ru(dtbbpy)(2)(tape)](PF(6))(2)·3acetone·0.5H(2)O were solved. The UV-vis absorption spectra and the electrochemical behavior of the ruthenium(ii) tape complexes were explored and compared with the data of the analogous dibenzoeilatin (dbneil), 2,2'-bipyrimidine (bpym) and tetrapyrido[3,2-a:2',3'-c:3',2'-h:2',3'-j]phenazin (tpphz) species.  相似文献

Amphiphilic ligands 4,4'-bis(1-adamantyl-aminocarbonyl)-2,2'-bipyridine (L(1)), 4,4'-bis[5-[N-[2-(3beta-cholest-5-en-3-ylcarbamate-N-yl)ethyl]aminocarbonyl]]-2,2'-bipyridine (L(2)), 4,4'-bis[5-[N-[2-(3beta-cholest-5-en-3-ylcarbamate-N-yl)propyl]aminocarbonyl]]-2,2'-bipyridine (L(3)), and 4,4'-bis(dodecan-12-ol)-2,2'-bipyridine (L(4)) and their heteroleptic ruthenium(II) complexes of the type [Ru(II)LL(1)(NCS)(2)] (5), [Ru(II)LL(2)(NCS)(2)] (6), [Ru(II)LL(3)(NCS)(2)] (7), and [Ru(II)LL(4)(NCS)(2)] (8) (where L = 4,4'-bis(carboxylic acid)-2,2'-bipyridine) have been synthesized starting from dichloro(p-cymene)ruthenium(II) dimer. All the ligands and the complexes were characterized by analytical, spectroscopic, and electrochemical techniques. The performance of these complexes as charge-transfer photosensitizers in nanocrystalline TiO(2)-based solar cells was studied. When complexes 5-8 anchored onto a 12 + 4 microm thick nanocrystalline TiO(2) films, very efficient sensitization was achieved (85 +/- 5% incident photon-to-current efficiencies in the visible region, using an electrolyte consisting of 0.6 M butylmethylimidazolium iodide, 0.05 M I(2), 0.1 M LiI, and 0.5 M tert-butyl pyridine in 1:1 acetonitrile + valeronitrile). Under standard AM 1.5 sunlight, the complex 8 yielded a short-circuit photocurrent density of 17 +/- 0.5 mA/cm(2), the open-circuit voltage was 720 +/- 50 mV, and the fill factor was 0.72 +/- 0.05, corresponding to an overall conversion efficiency of 8.8 +/- 0.5%.  相似文献

Two luminescent ruthenium(II) polypyridine complexes containing a biotin moiety [Ru(bpy)(2)(L1)](PF(6))(2) (1) and [Ru(bpy)(2)(L2)](PF(6))(2) (2) (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine; L1 = 4-(N-((2-biotinamido)ethyl)amido)-4'-methyl-2,2'-bipyridine; L2 = 4-(N-((6-biotinamido)hexyl)amido)-4'-methyl-2,2'-bipyridine) have been synthesized and characterized, and their photophysical and electrochemical properties have been studied. Upon photoexcitation, complexes 1 and 2 display intense and long-lived triplet metal-to-ligand charge-transfer ((3)MLCT) (dpi(Ru) --> pi*(L1 or L2)) emission in fluid solutions at 298 K and in low-temperature glass. We have studied the binding of these ruthenium(II) biotin complexes to avidin by 4'-hydroxyazobenzene-2-carboxylic acid (HABA) assays, luminescence titrations, competitive assays using native biotin, and quenching experiments using methyl viologen. On the basis of the results of these experiments, a homogeneous competitive assay for biotin has been investigated.  相似文献

We study the electrochemical, spectroscopic, and photocatalytic properties of a series of Ru(II)-Re(I) binuclear complexes linked by bridging ligands 1,3-bis(4'-methyl-[2,2']bipyridinyl-4-yl)propan-2-ol (bpyC3bpy) and 4-methyl-4'-[1,10]phenanthroline-[5,6-d]imidazol-2-yl)bipyridine (mfibpy) and a tetranuclear complex in which three [Re(CO)3Cl] moieties are coordinated to the central Ru using the bpyC3bpy ligands. In the bpyC3bpy binuclear complexes, 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (dmb) and 4,4'-bis(trifluoromethyl)-2,2'-bipyridine ({CF3}2bpy), as well as 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy), were used as peripheral ligands on the Ru moiety. Greatly improved photocatalytic activities were obtained only in the cases of [Ru{bpyC3bpyRe(CO)3Cl}3]2+ (RuRe3) and the binuclear complex [(dmb)2Ru(bpyC3bpy)Re(CO)3Cl]2+ (d2Ru-Re), while photocatalytic responses were extended further into the visible region. The excited state of ruthenium in all Ru-Re complexes was efficiently quenched by 1-benzyl-1,4-dihydronicotinamide (BNAH). Following reductive quenching in the case of d2Ru-Re, generation of the one-electron-reduced (OER) species, for which the added electron resides on the Ru-bound bpy end of the bridging ligand bpyC3bpy, was confirmed by transient absorption spectroscopy. The reduced Re moiety was produced via a relatively slow intramolecular electron transfer, from the reduced Ru-bound bpy to the Re site, occurring at an exchange rate (DeltaG approximately 0). Electron transfer need not be rapid, since the rate-determining process is reduction of CO2 with the OER species of the Re site. Comparison of these results with those for other bimetallic systems gives us more general architectural pointers for constructing supramolecular photocatalysts for CO2 reduction.  相似文献

Neutral ruthenium(II) complexes [RuLL'(CN)2] (L, L' = bpy, dmb, dbb; bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, dmb = 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine, dbb = 4,4'-tert-butyl-2,2'-bipyridine) were prepared, and the luminescence characteristics of the complexes in the solid state were measured. The luminescence was tuned by crystal waters included in the crystals; for example, [Ru(dbb)2(CN)2] x 2H2O, [Ru(dbb)2(CN)2] x H2O, and [Ru(dbb)2(CN)2] emit luminescence at 640, 685, and 740 nm, respectively.  相似文献

In search of potential anticancer drug candidates in ruthenium complexes, a series of mononuclear ruthenium complexes of the type [Ru(phen)(2)(nmit)]Cl(2) (Ru1), [Ru(bpy)(2)(nmit)]Cl(2) (Ru2), [Ru(phen)(2)(icpl)]Cl(2) (Ru3), Ru(bpy)(2)(icpl)]Cl(2) (Ru4) (phen=1,10-phenanthroline; bpy=2,2'-bipyridine; nmit=N-methyl-isatin-3-thiosemicarbazone, icpl=isatin-3-(4-Cl-phenyl)thiosemicarbazone) and [Ru(phen)(2)(aze)]Cl(2) (Ru5), [Ru(bpy)(2)(aze)]Cl(2) (Ru6) (aze=acetazolamide) and [Ru(phen)(2)(R-tsc)](ClO(4))(2) (R=methyl (Ru7), ethyl (Ru8), cyclohexyl (Ru9), 4-Cl-phenyl (10), 4-Br-phenyl (Ru11), and 4-EtO-phenyl (Ru12), tsc=thiosemicarbazone) were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, FTIR, (1)H-NMR and FAB-MS. Effect of these complexes on the growth of a transplantable murine tumor cell line (Ehrlich Ascites Carcinoma) and their antibacterial activity were studied. In cancer study the effect of hematological profile of the tumor hosts have also been studied. In the cancer study, the complexes Ru1-Ru4, Ru10 and Ru11 have remarkably decreased the tumor volume and viable ascitic cell count as indicated by trypan blue dye exclusion test (p<0.05). Treatment with the ruthenium complexes prolonged the lifespan of Ehrlich Ascites Carcinoma (EAC) bearing mice. Tumor inhibition by the ruthenium chelates was followed by improvements in hemoglobin, RBC and WBC values. All the complexes showed antibacterial activity, except Ru5 and Ru6. Thus, the results suggest that these ruthenium complexes have significant antitumor property and antibacterial activity. The results also reflect that the drug does not adversely affect the hematological profiles as compared to that of cisplatin on the host.  相似文献

We report the first synthesis of a metallonucleoside bound to a solid support and subsequent oligonucleotide synthesis with this precursor. Large-scale syntheses of metal-containing oligonucleotides are achieved using a solid support modified with [Ru(bpy)(2)(impy')](2+) (bpy is 2,2'-bipyridine; impy' is 2'-iminomethylpyridyl-2'-deoxyuridine). A duplex formed with the metal-containing oligonucleotide exhibits superior thermal stability when compared to the corresponding unmetalated duplex (T(m) = 50 degrees C vs T(m) = 48 degrees C). Electrochemical (E(1/2) = 1.3 V vs NHE), absorption (lambda(max) = 480 nm), and emission (lambda(max) = 720 nm, tau = 44 ns, Phi = 0.11 x 10(-)(3)) data for the ruthenium-modified oligonucleotides indicate that the presence of the oligonucleotide does not perturb the electronic properties of the ruthenium complex. The absence of any change in the emission properties upon duplex formation suggests that the [Ru(bpy)(2)(impy)](2+) chromophore will be a valuable probe for DNA-mediated electron-transfer studies. Despite the relatively high Ru(III/II) reduction potential, oxidative quenching of photoexcited [Ru(bpy)(2)(impy)](2+) does not lead to oxidative damage of guanine or other DNA bases.  相似文献

The binding of the three stereoisomers (DeltaDelta-, LambdaLambda- and DeltaLambda-) of the dinuclear ruthenium(II) complex [[Ru(Me2bpy)2]2(mu-bpm)]4+ [Me2bpy = 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine; bpm = 2,2'-bipyrimidine] to a tridecanucleotide containing a single adenine bulge has been studied by 1H NMR spectroscopy. The addition of the DeltaDelta-isomer to d(CCGAGAATTCCGG)2 induced significant chemical shift changes for the base and sugar resonances of the residues at the bulge site (G3A4G5/C11C10), whereas small shifts were observed upon addition of the enantiomeric LambdaLambda-form. NOESY spectra of the tridecanucleotide bound with the DeltaDelta-isomer revealed intermolecular NOE's between the metal complex and the nucleotide residues at the bulge site, while only weak NOE's were observed to terminal residues to the LambdaLambda-form. Competitive binding studies were performed where both enantiomers were simultaneously added to the tridecanucleotide, and for all ratios of the two stereoisomers the DeltaDelta-isomer remained selectively bound at the bulge site with the LambdaLambda-enantiomer localised at the terminal regions of the tridecanucleotide. The meso-diastereoisomer (DeltaLambda) was found to bind to the tridecanucleotide with characteristics intermediate between the DeltaDelta- and LambdaLambda-enantiomers of the rac form. Two distinct sets of metal complex resonances were observed, with one set having essentially the same shift as the free metal complex, whilst the other set of resonances exhibited significant shifts. The NOE data indicated that the meso-diastereoisomer does not bind as selectively as the DeltaDelta-isomer, with NOE's observed to a greater number of nucleotide residues compared to the DeltaDelta-form. This study provides a rare example of total enantioselectivity in the binding of an inert transition metal complex to DNA, produced by the shape recognition of both ruthenium(II) centres.  相似文献

Four new Ru(II) complexes, [Ru(bpy)(2)(4,4'-BP2bpy)][PF(6)](2) (1), [Ru(t-Bu-bpy)(2)(4,4'-BP2bpy)][PF(6)](2) (2), [Ru(bpy)(2)(5,5'-BP2bpy)][PF(6)](2) (3), and [Ru(t-Bu-bpy)(2)(5,5'-BP2bpy)][PF(6)](2) (4) have been synthesized (where 4,4'-BP2bpy = 4,4'-bis(BMes(2)phenyl)-2,2'-bpy; 5,5'-BP2bpy = 5,5'-bis(BMes(2)phenyl)-2,2'-bpy (4,4'-BP2bpy); and t-Bu-bpy = 4,4'-bis(t-butyl)-2,2'-bipyridine). These new complexes have been fully characterized. The crystal structures of 3 and 4 were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. All four complexes display distinct metal-to-ligand charge transfer (MLCT) phosphorescence that has a similar quantum efficiency as that of [Ru(bpy)(3)][PF(6)](2) under air, but is at a much lower energy. The MLCT phosphorescence of these complexes has been found to be highly sensitive toward anions such as fluoride and cyanide, which switch the MLCT band to higher energy when added. The triarylboron groups in these compounds not only introduce this color switching mechanism, but also play a key role in the phosphorescence color of the complexes.  相似文献

Two novel chiral ruthenium(II) complexes, Δ‐[Ru(bpy)2(dmppd)]2+ and Λ‐[Ru(bpy)2(dmppd)]2+ (dmppd = 10,12‐dimethylpteridino[6,7‐f] [1,10]phenanthroline‐11,13(10H,12H)‐dione, bpy = 2,2′‐bipyridine), were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, 1H‐NMR and ES‐MS. The DNA‐binding behaviors of both complexes were studied by UV/VIS absorption titration, competitive binding experiments, viscosity measurements, thermal DNA denaturation, and circular‐dichroism spectra. The results indicate that both chiral complexes bind to calf‐thymus DNA in an intercalative mode, and the Δ enantiomer shows larger DNA affinity than the Λ enantiomer does. Theoretical‐calculation studies for the DNA‐binding behaviors of these complexes were carried out by the density‐functional‐theory method. The mechanism involved in the regulating and controlling of the DNA‐binding abilities of the complexes was further explored by the comparative studies of [Ru(bpy)2(dmppd)]2+ and of its parent complex [Ru(bpy)2(ppd)]2+ (ppd = pteridino[6,7‐f] [1,10]phenanthroline‐11,13 (10H,12H)‐dione).  相似文献

A novel synthesis method is introduced for the preparation of [Os(NN)(CO)(2)X(2)] complexes (X = Cl, Br, I, and NN = 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy) or 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (dmbpy)). In the first step of this two-step synthesis, OsCl(3) is reduced in the presence of a sacrificial metal surface in an alcohol solution. The reduction reaction produces a mixture of trinuclear mixed metal complexes, which after the addition of bpy or dmbpy produce a trans(Cl)-[Os(NN)(CO)(2)Cl(2)] complex with a good 60-70% yield. The halide exchange of [Os(bpy)(CO)(2)Cl(2)] has been performed in a concentrated halidic acid (HI or HBr) solution in an autoclave, producing 30-50% of the corresponding complex. All of the synthesized trans(X)-[Os(bpy)(CO)(2)X(2)] (X = Cl, Br, I) complexes displayed a similar basic electrochemical behavior to that found in the ruthenium analog trans(Cl)-[Ru(bpy)(CO)(2)Cl(2)] studied previously, including the formation of an electroactive polymer [Os(bpy)(CO)(2)](n) during the two-electron electrochemical reduction. The absorption and emission properties of the osmium complexes were also studied. Compared to the ruthenium analogues, these osmium complexes display pronounced photoluminescence properties. The DFT calculations were made in order to determine the HOMO-LUMO gaps and to analyze the contribution of the individual osmium d-orbitals and halogen p-orbitals to the frontier orbitals of the molecules. The electrochemical and photochemical induced substitution reactions of carbonyl with the solvent molecule are also discussed.  相似文献

The present work reports an attempt to elucidate a stereoselective energy-transfer system by immobilizing a chiral metal complex on a clay surface. The metal complex used was [Ru(bpy)2L(i)]2+ with L1 = bpy (2,2'-bipyridine), L2 = 4,4'-diundecyl-2,2'-bipyridine, and L3 = 5,5'-diundecyl-2,2'-bipyridine. The adsorption structure of [Ru(bpy)2L(i)]2+ was studied by means of electric dichroism measurements on an aqueous dispersion of a colloidal clay. It was found that the molecular orientation of the adsorbed Ru(II) complex was affected remarkably by the positions of the alkyl chains on the bpy ligand; that is, the angle of the 3-fold or pseudo-3-fold symmetry axis of the Ru(II) complex with respect to the surface normal was obtained to be 24 degrees, 30 degrees, and 52 degrees for i = 1, 2, and 3, respectively. The efficiency of the energy-transfer was determined by photoluminescence quenching measurements between the adsorbed Ru(II) complex and [Ru(acac)3] (acac = acetylacetonate) in solution. As a result, stereoselectivity appeared most for the case of [Ru(bpy)2L3]2+ in which its two helically twisted bpy ligands were projected in an outward direction.  相似文献

The reactions of bidentate diimine ligands (L2) with binuclear [Ru(L1)(CO)Cl2]2 complexes [L1 not equal to L2 = 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy), 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (4,4'-Me2bpy), 5,5'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (5,5'-Me2bpy), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), 4,7-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (4,7-Me2phen), 5,6-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (5,6-Me2phen), di(2-pyridyl)ketone (dpk), di(2-pyridyl)amine (dpa)] result in cleavage of the dichloride bridge and the formation of cationic [Ru(L1)(L2)(CO)Cl]+ complexes. In addition to spectroscopic characterization, the structures of the [Ru(bpy)(phen)(CO)Cl]+, [Ru(4,4'-Me2bpy)(5,6-Me2phen)(CO)Cl]+ (as two polymorphs), [Ru(4,4'-Me2bpy)(4,7-Me2phen)(CO)Cl]+, [Ru(bpy)(dpa)(CO)Cl]+, [Ru(5,5'-Me2bpy)(dpa)(CO)Cl]+, [Ru(bpy)(dpk)(CO)Cl]+, and [Ru(4,4'-Me2bpy)(dpk)(CO)Cl]+ cations were confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. In each case, the structurally characterized complex had the carbonyl ligand trans to a nitrogen from the incoming diimine ligand, these complexes corresponding to the main isomers isolated from the reaction mixtures. The synthesis of [Ru(4,4'-Me2bpy)(5,6-Me2bpy)(CO)(NO3)]+ from [Ru(4,4'-Me2bpy)(5,6-Me2bpy)(CO)Cl]+ and AgNO3 demonstrates that exchange of the chloro ligand can be achieved.  相似文献
