Mononuclear oxorhenium(V) complexes [ReO(HL1 or H2L2)(PPh3)(OH2)Cl]Cl, {H2L1 = 1-(2-hydroxyphenyl)butane-1,3-dione-3-(5,6-diphenyl-1,2,4-triazine-3-ylhydrazone) and H3L2 = 1-(2-hydroxyphenyl)butane-1,3-dione-3-(1H-benzimidazol-2-ylhydrazone)}, have been synthesized by ligand exchange with trans-trichloromonooxo-bis(triphenylphosphine) rhenium(V). The reaction of a 1?:?1 mixture of either NH4SCN, 1,10-phenanthroline (1,10-phen) or 8-hydroxyquinoline (8-OHquin) and H2L1 or H3L2, with trans-ReOCl3(PPh3)2 yielded the mononuclear oxorhenium(V) complexes, [ReO(HL1 or H2L2)(PPh3) (SCN)Cl], [ReO(HL1)(1,10-phen)Cl]Cl, [ReO(H2L2)(1,10-phen)(OH2)]Cl2·H2O and [ReO(HL1 or H2L2) (8-Oquin)Cl]. Thermal studies on these complexes showed structural transformations from mononuclear into binuclear complexes. [Re2O3(HL1 or H2L2)2(PPh3)2Cl2], [Re2O2(μ-L1 or L2)2(SCN)2] and [Re2O3 (H2L2)2(1,10-phen)2]Cl2, were synthesized pyrolytically in the solid state from the respective precursor rhenium complexes. The structures of all complexes and the corresponding thermal products were elucidated using elemental analyses, conductance, IR and electronic absorption spectra, magnetic moments and 1H NMR and TG-DSC measurements. The prepared complexes and their thermal products have octahedral configurations. The ligands H2L1 or H3L2 behave as monoanionic bidentate or monoanionic tetradentate ligands towards the oxorhenium ions. The antifungal activities of the metal complexes towards Alternaria alternata and Aspergillus niger were tested and showed comparable behavior with well known antibiotics.  相似文献

Heteronuclear complexes containing oxorhenium(V), with Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Cd(II) and UO2(VI) ions were prepared by the reaction of the complex ligands [ReO(HL1)(PPh3)(OH2)Cl]Cl (a) and/or [ReO(H2L2)(PPh3)(OH2)Cl]Cl (b), where H2L1?=?1-(2-hydroxyphenyl)butane-1,3-dione-3-(5,6-diphenyl-1,2,4-triazine-3-ylhydrazone) and H3L2?=?1-(2-hydroxyphenyl)butane-1,3-dione-3-(1H-benzimidazol-2-ylhydrazone), with transition and actinide salts. Heterodinuclear complexes of ReO(V) with Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Cd(II) were obtained using a 1?:?1 mole ratio of the complex ligand and the metal salt. Heterotrinuclear complexes were obtained containing ReO(V) with UO2(VI) and Cu(II) using 2?:?1 mole ratios of the complex ligand and the metal salts. The complex ligands a and b coordinate with the heterometal ion via a nitrogen of the heterocyclic ring and the nitrogen atom of the C=N7 group. All transition metal cations in the heteronuclear complexes have octahedral configurations, while UO2(VI)?complexes have distorted dodecahedral geometry. The structures of the complexes were elucidated by IR, ESR, electronic and 1H NMR spectra, magnetic moments, conductance and TG-DSC measurements. The antifungal activities of the complex ligands and their heteronuclear complexes towards Alternaria alternata and Aspergillus niger showed comparable behavior with some well-known antibiotics.  相似文献

The solvothermal reaction of [ReOCl3(PPh3)2] with 2,2′-seleno-bis(4,6-di-tert-butylphenol) (H2L1) in ethanol at 95 °C resulted in an oxorhenium(V) complex of formulation [ReO(L1)(L2)] due to the in situ formation of 2-selenochloromethyl-4,6-di-tert-butylphenolate (L2) through the cleavage of one C–Se bond of H2L1. The mononuclear oxorhenium(V) complex was characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods along with detailed structural analysis by single crystal X-ray crystallography. Electrochemical studies revealed a one-electron equivalent quasi-reversible voltammogram for the ReO(V)/ReO(VI) redox couple at 1.28 V (versus SCE) with no cathodic response for ReO(V) → ReO(IV) reduction.  相似文献

Ten new complexes, [Cu2(L1)(NO3)2]·2H2O (1), [Cu4(L1)2]·4ClO4·H2O (2), [Cu2(L1)(H2O)2]·(adipate) (3), [Cu6(L1)2(m-bdc)4]·2DMF·5H2O (4), [Cu2(L1)(Hbtc)]·5H2O (5), [Cu2(L1)(H2O)2]·(ntc)·3H2O (6), [Co2(L2)]·[Co(MeOH)4(H2O)2] (7), [Co3(L2)(EtOH)(H2O)] (8), [Ni6(L2)2(H2O)4]·H2O (9) and [Zn4(L2)(OAc)2]·0.5H2O (10), have been synthesized. 1 displays a [Cu2(L1)(NO3)2] monomolecular structure. 2 shows a supramolecular chain including [Cu2L1]2+. In 3, two Cu(II) ions are connected by L1 to form a [Cu2(L1)(H2O)2]2+ cation. In 4, the m-bdc anions bridge Cu(II) ions and L1 anions to form a layer. Both 5 and 6 display 3-D supramolecular structures. 7 consists of both [Co2L2]2? and [Co(MeOH)4(H2O)2]2+ units. 8 and 9 show infinite chain structures. In 10, Zn(II) dimers are linked by L2 to generate a 3-D framework. The magnetic properties for 4 and 8 and the luminescent property for 10 have been studied.  相似文献

New heteronuclear complexes containing oxorhenium(V), Cu(II), Ni(II), Fe(III), UO2(VI) and Th(IV) ions were prepared by the reaction of the complex ligand, [ReO(H4L)Cl]Cl2, where H4L = 8,17-dimethyl-6,15-dioxo-5,7,14,16-tetrahydrodibenzo[a,h][14]annulene-2,11-dicarboxylic acid, with the previous transition and actinide salts. Three heteronuclear Cu(II) complexes were isolated depending on the ratio of [ReO(H4L)Cl]Cl2?:?Cu(II) ion. When the ratios were 1?:?0.5, 1?:?1 and 1?:?2, the heteronuclear complexes {[ReO(H3L)Cl]2CuCl2(OH2)2}SO4 · H2O (I), [ReO(H3L)Cl2Cu(OH2)2(SO4)] (II) and {ReO(H2L)Cl[Cu(OH2)3 SO4]2} (III) were obtained, respectively. Heteronuclear complexes of the other metal cations were obtained by mixing [ReO(H4L)Cl]Cl2 with the metal salt in the ratio 1?:?1 to obtain the heteronuclear complexes [ReO(H3L)Cl2Ni(OH2)2](NO3)2 (IV), [ReO(H3L)Cl3Fe(OH2)3](NO3)2 (V), [ReO(H3L)ClUO2(NO3)2 (OH2)]Cl (VI) and [ReO(H3L)Cl3Th(NO3)2(OH2)]NO3 · 2H2O (VII). The complex ligand coordinates with the heterometal ion via the carboxylate group, and the infrared bands νas COO and νs COO indicate that the carboxylate acts as a unidentate ligand to the heterometal cations. Cu(II) and Fe(III) cations in the heteronuclear complexes have octahedral geometry, while Ni(II) is square planar. Thermal studies explored the possibility of obtaining new heteronuclear complexes pyrolytically in the solid state from the corresponding mother complexes. The structures of the complexes were elucidated by conductance, IR and electronic spectra, magnetic moments, 1H NMR and TG-DSC measurements as well as by mass spectroscopy.  相似文献

Five N-heterocyclic carboxylate-based coordination complexes, [Co(L1)2(H2O)2]·2H2O (1), [Cd(L1)2(H2O)2]·2H2O (2), [Co(L2)(H2O)3] (3), [Ni(L2)(H2O)3] (4), and [Cu2(L2)2(H2O)2] (5), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, Powder X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analyses, and single-crystal X-ray crystallography, where HL1 is 2-((5-amino-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)thio)acetic acid and H2L2 is 2-((5-amino-1-(carboxymethyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)thio)acetic acid. In these complexes, the hydrogen bonds (H-bonds) play an important role in their packing structures. Complex 1 has nine H-bonds showing a 3-D sqc38 topology. Complex 2 has 17 H-bonds exhibiting a 3-D hxl network. Complexes 3 and 4 are isomorphic, both of which possess ten H-bonds to present a 3-D btc topology. Complex 5 with eight H-bonds forms a 2-D sq1 structure. In addition, complex 3 catalyzes the decolorization of methyl orange. Meanwhile, 1, 3, and 5 show certain anticancer activities to inhibit the growth of HepG2 cells.  相似文献

The reaction of trans(N)-[Co(D-pen)2]? (pen = penicillaminate) or trans(N)-[Co(L-pen)2]? with [MCl2(L)] (M = Pd or Pt, L = 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy) or 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine (dmbpy)) stereoselectively gave an optically active S-bridged dinuclear complex, [M(L){Co(D-pen)2}]Cl · 3H2O or [M(L){Co(L-pen)2}]Cl · 3H2O. The mixture of equimolar amounts of these two enantiomers in H2O crystallizes as [M(L){Co(D-pen)2}]0.5[M(L){Co(L- pen)2}]0.5Cl · nH2O (1cCl · 7H2O: M = Pd, L = bpy, n = 7; 2cCl · 7H2O: M = Pd, L = dmbpy, n = 7; 3cCl · 6H2O: M = Pt, L = dmbpy, n = 6), in which the enantiomeric complex cations are included in the ratio of 1 : 1. In the crystals of 1cCl · 7H2O, [Pd(bpy){Co(D-pen)2}]+ (1a) and [Pd(bpy){Co(L-pen)2}]+ (1b) are arranged alternately while overlapping the bpy planes along the a axis, and the π electronic systems of bpy moieties interact with each other. This is quite a contrast to the optically active 1aCl · 3H2O or 1bCl · 3H2O, which exist as monomers without intermolecular interactions. In crystals of 2cCl · 7H2O and 3cCl · 6H2O, similarly, the two enantiomeric complex cations interact with each other through the dmbpy frameworks. However, the interplane distances between the stacked π systems in these dmbpy complexes are considerably longer than in the bpy complexes. Such structural characteristics significantly reflect their diffuse reflectance spectra.  相似文献

Four new mononuclear complexes, [Ni(L1)(NCS)2] (1), [Ni(L2)(NCS)2] (2), [Co(L1)(N3)2]ClO4 (3), and [Co(L2)(N3)2]ClO4 (4), where L1 and L2 are N,N′-bis[(pyridin-2-yl)methylidene]butane-1,4-diamine and N,N′-bis[(pyridin-2-yl)benzylidene]butane-1,4-diamine, respectively, have been prepared. The syntheses have been achieved by reaction of the respective metal perchlorate with the tetradentate Schiff bases, L1 and L2, in presence of thiocyanate (for 1 and 2) or azide (for 3 and 4). The complexes have been characterized by microanalytical, spectroscopic, single crystal X-ray diffraction and other physicochemical studies. Structural studies reveal that 14 are distorted octahedral geometries. The antibacterial activity of all the complexes and their constituent Schiff bases have been tested against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.  相似文献

Four Ru(II) complexes with tridentate ligands viz. (4-hydroxy-N′-(pyridin-2-yl-ethylene) benzohydrazide [Ru(L1)(PPh3)2(Cl)] (1), N′-(pyridin-2-yl-methylene) nicotinohydrazide [Ru(L2)(PPh3)2(Cl)] (2), N′-(1H-imidazol-2-yl-methylene)-4-hydroxybenzohydrazide [Ru(L3)(PPh3)2(Cl)] (3), and N′-(1H-imidazol-2-yl-methylene) nicotinohydrazide [Ru(L4)(PPh3)2(Cl)] (4) have been synthesized and characterized. The methoxy-derivative of L3H (abbreviated as L3H*) exists in E configuration with torsional angle of 179.4° around C7-N8-N9-C10 linkage. Single crystal structures of acetonitrile coordinated ruthenium complexes of 1 and 3 having compositins as [Ru(L1)(PPh3)2(CH3CN)]Cl (1a) and [Ru(L3)(PPh3)2(CH3CN)]Cl (3a) revealed coordination of tridentate ligands with significantly distorted octahedral geometry constructed by imine nitrogen, heterocyclic nitrogen, and enolate amide oxygen, forming a cis-planar ring with trans-placement of two PPh3 groups and a coordinated acetonitrile. Ligands (L1H-L4H) and their ruthenium complexes (1–4) are characterized by 1H, 13C, 31P NMR, and IR spectral analysis. Ru(II) complexes have reversible to quasi-reversible redox behavior having Ru(II)/Ru(III) oxidation potentials in the range of 0.40–0.71 V. The DNA binding constants determined by absorption spectral titrations with Herring Sperm DNA (HS-DNA) reveal that L4H and 1 interact more strongly than other ligands and Ru(II) complexes. Complexes 1–3 exhibit DNA cleaving activity possibly due to strong electrostatic interactions while 4 displays intercalation.  相似文献

Four copper(II) complexes and one copper(I) complex with pyridine-containing pyridylalkylamide ligands N-(pyridin-2-ylmethyl)pyrazine-2-carboxamide (HLpz) and N-(2-(pyridin-2-yl)ethyl)pyrazine-2-carboxamide (HLpz?) were synthesized and characterized. The X-ray crystal structures of [Cu2(Lpz)2(4,4?-bipy)(OTf)2] (1, OTf?=?trifluoromethanesulfonate, 4,4?-bipy?=?4,4?-bipyridine) and [Cu(Lpz)(py)2]OTf·H2O (2, py?=?pyridine) revealed binuclear and mononuclear molecular species, respectively, while [Cu(Lpz)(μ2-1,1-N3)]n (3), [Cu(Lpz?)(μ2-1,3-N3)]n (4), and [Cu(HLpz)Cl]n (5) are coordination polymer 1-D chains in the solid state.  相似文献

New complexes of cobalt(III) with the tridentate and tetradentate Schiff base ligands: 3-methoxy-2-{(Z)[(2-hydroxyphenyl)imino]methyl}phenol (H2L1), 4-[(2-hydroxyphenyl)imino]-2-pentanone (H2L2); and 2-((E)-1-(2-((E)-1-(2-hydroxy-4,5-dimethylphenyl)ethylideneamino)ethylimino)ethyl)-4,5 dimethylphenol (H2L3), namely [CoIII(L1)(N-MeIm)3]PF6 (1), [CoIII(L1)(py)3]ClO4 (2), [Co(L1)(py)3][Co(L1)2] (3) and [CoIII(L2)(N-MeIm)3]PF6 (4) and [Co(L3)(N-MeIm)2]PF6 (5), were synthesized and characterized by physico-chemical and spectroscopic methods. The crystal structures of the complexes were determined by X-ray crystallography. In each of these complexes, the cobalt(III) centre has a slightly distorted octahedral environment, utilizing all available coordination centres of the ligands. The complexes were also screened for in vitro antibacterial activities against four human pathogenic bacteria, and their minimum inhibitory concentrations indicated good antibacterial activities.  相似文献

Herein, we describe the coordination behavior of chromone Schiff bases towards [ReVO]3+ and [ReI(CO)3]+. The reaction between 2-(2-thiolphenyliminomethyl)-4H-chromen-4-one (Htch) and [Re(CO)5Cl] led to fac-[Re(CO)3(bsch)Cl] (1) (bsch = 2-benzothiazole-4H-chromen-4-one). The square pyramidal [ReO(Hns)] (2) {H2ns=bis-[(2-phenylthiolate)iminomethyl]-methyl-1-(2-hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-en-1-one} and octahedral [ReO(OCH3)(PPh3)(Huch)] (3) complexes were isolated from reactions of trans-[ReVOBr3(PPh3)2] with Htch and H3uch [(5Z)-5-((4-hydroxy-2-methoxy-2H-chromen-3-yl)methyleneamino)-6-amino-1,3-dimethylpyrimidine-2,4(1H, 3H)-dione], respectively. The chromone Schiff bases and their metal complexes were fully characterized via NMR-, IR- and UV–Vis spectroscopy, single crystal XRD analysis and conductivity measurements. In addition, DFT studies were conducted to compare selected optimized and experimental parameters of the complexes.  相似文献

The reactions of equimolar amounts of trans-[ReOC13(PPh3)2] or trans-[Re(NPh)(PPh3)2Cl3] with a Schiff base formed by condensation of 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzaldehyde and ethanolamine (H2L) result in the formation of cis-[ReO(HL)PPh3Cl2] (1a) and trans-[Re(NPh)(HL)(PPh3)Cl2] (2b), respectively, in good yields. 1a and 2b have been characterized by a range of spectroscopic and analytical techniques. The X-ray crystal structures of 1a and 2b reveal that 1a is an octahedral cis-Cl,Cl oxorhenium(V) complex, while 2b is a trans-Cl,Cl phenylimidorhenium(V) complex. The complexes are weakly emissive at room temperature with quantum yields of 10?4. Density functional theory calculations of the electronic properties of the complexes were performed and are in agreement with the experimental results. The complexes display quasi-reversible Re(V)/Re(VI) redox couples in acetonitrile. There is reasonable agreement between the experimental and calculated redox potentials of 1a and 2b.  相似文献

Schiff bases o-vanilidene-1-aminobenzene (HL1) and o-vanilidene-2-methyl-1-aminobenzene (HL2) lead to the formation of mono- and bis-[(Cl)Zn(L1)] (1), [(Cl)Zn(L2)] (2), [(Cl)Hg(L1)] (3), [(Cl)Hg(L2)] (4), [Zn(L1)2] (5), [Zn(L2)2] (6), [Hg(L1)2] (7), and [Hg(L2)2] (8) complexes by reactions of zinc(II) and mercury(II) chlorides in different mole ratio(s). Complexes 18 have been characterized by elemental analyses (Zn, Hg, C, H, Cl, and N), melting point and spectral (IR, 1H-NMR), PXRD, molar conductivity measurement, and TGA. Conductivity measurements suggest non-electrolytes. Structural compositions have been assigned by mass spectral studies. Four-coordinate geometry may be assigned to these complexes tentatively. Structural study reveals that in 14 two metal centers are held together by two bridged (μ2-Cl) chlorides, whereas 58 contain two bidentate Schiff-base ligands around one metal-producing monomers.  相似文献

Three new coordination complexes, 2{[Co(L1)2]ClO4} · 0.5CH3OH (1), [Mn(L2)2] (2), and [Cu(HL2)(L2)]ClO4 · 2H2O (3) have been synthesized from two tridentate N,N,O-donor hydrazone ligands HL1, 2-acetylpyridine-salicyloylhydrazone, and HL2, 2-benzoylpyridine-salicyloylhydrazone, respectively and thoroughly characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, UV–Vis, electrochemical, and room temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements. Structures of the complexes have been unequivocally established by single crystal X-ray diffraction technique. Structural analysis reveals that 1 consists of two chemically similar but crystallographically independent cationic [Co(L1)2]+ units and 2 consists of a neutral [Mn(L2)2] molecule while 3 consists of a cationic [Cu(HL2)(L2)]+ unit. Metal ions display distorted octahedral geometry in 1 and 2 while in 3 it shows a distorted square pyramidal geometry. Ligand conformations around the metal ions are stabilized by the presence of intra-ligand hydrogen bonding in all the complexes. Structure of 3 reveals that a perchlorate ion linked to the complex by hydrogen bonding via a water molecule.  相似文献

Abstract

Five ruthenium complexes bearing phenylazo-(2-(phenylthio))phenylmethine ligands of the general type trans-[RuII(bpy)(L)(Cl)2] (C1C5) {L = YC6H4N=NC(COCH3)=NC6H4(2-SC6H5), H (L1), Cl (L2), OCH3 (L3), Br (L4), or NO2 (L5)} have been synthesized. The crystal structure of trans-[Ru(bpy)(L1)(Cl)2] (C1) is reported and shows no direct metal–S interaction. The complexes have been characterized through spectroscopic (IR, UV/vis and NMR) and electrochemical (CV) techniques. The electrochemical parameters (E L(L)) of the azoimine ligands are reported.  相似文献

5,12-dioxa-7,14-dimethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradeca-1,8-diene (N4L) reacts with the starting oxorhenium(V) complex, H2[ReOCl5], to yield either mononuclear [ReO(N4L)(OH2)]Cl3, or dinuclear [Re2O3(N4L)2]Cl4·2H2O depending on the concentration of hydrochloric acid in rhenium complex. The reaction of (N4L) mixed with KSCN or PPh3 with the oxorhenium(V) complex in 6N HCl, yielded the mononuclear complexes [ReO(N4L)(SCN)]Cl2·H2O and [ReO(N4L)(PPh3)]Cl3·H2O respectively. Both complexes have an octahedral configuration. These complexes decompose through several isolable, as well as non-isolable, intermediates during heating. [Re2O3(N4L\)2] (N4L\ = dianionic tetradentate ions), [ReO(N4L)Cl]Cl2 and [ReO(N4L\)(SCN)], were synthesized pyrolytically in the solid state from the corresponding rhenium(V) complexes. All have octahedral configurations. The ligand (N4L) behaves in these complexes either as a neutral tetradentate or dianionic tetradentate ligand towards the oxorhenium ions. All complexes and the corresponding thermal products were isolated and their structures were elucidated by elemental analyses, conductance, IR and electronic absorption spectra, magnetic moments, 1H NMR and TG-DSC measurements as well as by mass spectroscopy.  相似文献
