This paper presents a dynamic security assessment solution, which can be used in the power system control room to improve system stability. It is based on a set of security indices. The indices are able of establishing contingencies’ severity levels as a measure of different aspects of power system security. A system based on fuzzy logic is used to combine the indices into a single composite index. The composite index is able to alert the control operator to the network conditions that represent a significant risk to system security based on over-all system performance.  相似文献

In this work, we consider a quantum strongly correlated network described by an Anderson s - d mixing model. By introducing the Green function on the projected formalism of the Schrieffer and Wolf transformation, the energy spectrum of the system can be obtained. Using this result we calculate the survivability distribution of the network and discuss the local magnetism in the network, which shows that the survivability is an important statistical characteristic quantity not just to reflect the network topological property but also dynamics.   相似文献

Advances in fiber optic and local area network (LAN) technologies are providing system designers with many new options for interconnecting computer equipment. A recurring problem for military system designers, who are end-users of a LAN standard, is implementing LANs so that the survivability, reliability, maintainability, and availability (SRMA) of a system is maximized. LAN standards working groups are currently making design decisions about topologies, components, and protocols that directly affect the SRMA of the end-user's system. This article focuses on a new analytic technique, called “network survivability analysis,” that provides the mathematical tools needed to compare the survivability of arbitrary network topologies. For background, several network metrics are described and their limitations for LAN standards development identified. Network survivability is defined, and several token-passing ring case examples are analyzed. The primary strength of network survivability analysis is that it can be used to provide a quantitative comparison among LAN topologies without knowledge of the end-user's equipment, systems, or environments.  相似文献

This paper presents the method of an availability performance analysis that can be used for all-optical networks. We compare different schemes of protection and restoration in a fully connected mesh network based on optical cross-connects, optical fibers, and fiber amplifiers. Specifically treated is an optical mesh network physically mapped onto a Scandinavian backbone. In order to compare different survivability strategies, we selected two nodes located roughly 420 km apart. The goal of this work is to point out possible ways to improve connection availability. A number of survivability schemes are compared, for which the availability model of logical connection is derived and a calculation procedure is described. Our results show that unprotected schemes cannot ascertain reasonably high requirements on connection availability in the backbone network. Thus, if a redundant structure of logical connection is considered, the particular survivability scheme should be evaluated in order to maximize connection availability.  相似文献

针对云计算环境下资源调度模型未充分考虑资源评价的问题,为更好适应不同节点计算性能和大规模数据环境的处理需求,提出了一种基于多维评价模型的虚拟机资源调度策略。首先,在云计算环境下建立包括网络性能在内的多维资源评价模型,在此基础上提出一种改进的蚁群优化算法实现资源调度策略;然后在云计算仿真平台CloudSim上进行实现。实验结果表明,该算法可以更好适应不同网络性能的计算环境,显著提高了资源调度的性能,同时降低了虚拟机负载均衡离差,满足了云计算环境下的虚拟机资源负载均衡需求。  相似文献

Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) based on fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensor network has attracted considerable attention in recent years. However, FBG sensor network is embedded or glued in the structure simply with series or parallel. In this case, if optic fiber sensors or fiber nodes fail, the fiber sensors cannot be sensed behind the failure point. Therefore, for improving the survivability of the FBG-based sensor system in the SHM, it is necessary to build high reliability FBG sensor network for the SHM engineering application. In this study, a model reconstruction soft computing recognition algorithm based on genetic algorithm-support vector regression (GA-SVR) is proposed to achieve the reliability of the FBG-based sensor system. Furthermore, an 8-point FBG sensor system is experimented in an aircraft wing box. The external loading damage position prediction is an important subject for SHM system; as an example, different failure modes are selected to demonstrate the SHM system's survivability of the FBG-based sensor network. Simultaneously, the results are compared with the non-reconstruct model based on GA-SVR in each failure mode. Results show that the proposed model reconstruction algorithm based on GA-SVR can still keep the predicting precision when partial sensors failure in the SHM system; thus a highly reliable sensor network for the SHM system is facilitated without introducing extra component and noise.  相似文献

Since optical network carries a lot of traffic, survivability is very important to ensure the service continuity against network failures. Recently, multicast services become more popular to meet the huge multimedia demand in network, so that multicast survivability in optical network has got more attention. However, multicast survivability may lead to more energy consumption due to more redundant backup resources allocated. Since greening network is particularly important with the energy crisis keeping growing, green multicast survivability in optical network is a challenging issue. This paper focuses on the green multicast grooming protection problem in optical network and designs two auxiliary graphs that includes a virtual topology graph and an integrated graph to address the survivable multicast grooming, routing and wavelength assignment. Based on the auxiliary graphs, this paper proposes an efficient heuristic called green multicast grooming algorithm based on spanning path dedicated protection (GMG-SPDP), in which the network reliability and the energy efficiency are jointly taken into account. Simulation results show that, compared to other algorithms, the proposed GMG-SPDP not only has lower blocking probability and higher bandwidth utilization ratio, but also saves more energy.  相似文献

Fuzzy logic control has been used frequently in tuning network control system (NCS) due to its on-line dynamic static non-linear match and several remarkable fractional-order controllers have achieved satisfactory control performance when applied to NCS in present years, therefore, in this paper, a novel fractional fuzzy logic controller which combined the fractional algorithm and fuzzy logic control together has been proposed to deal with fixed and random network induced delays in closed-loop feedback systems. The comparisons of set-point tracking performances of fractional fuzzy logic PID controller (FFuzzyPID), conventional fuzzy logic PID controller(FuzzyPID), fractional optimal PID controller (FOPID), and optimal PID controller(OPID) on a representative plant with fixed and random network delays have been shown with simulations. The simulation results indicate that fractional fuzzy logic controller has higher capability to handle network delays compared with other controllers in most cases.  相似文献

Although the physics of computing allows the possibility of logic operations with no energy dissipation, over 40 years of work by brilliant scientists in many fields has not achieved it. The solution described here required breaking from the tacit assumptions that logic gates had to be electronic. The system is implemented entirely with passive optical components. Also needed was a logic that could utilize those passive components. Hardy and Shamir showed how to map a Boolean logic problem into a form suitable to be implemented by light flowing through various paths and cascaded as needed. This paper examines a modular approach to implementing their approach (called Directed Logic) in an integrated optical system. We start from unit cells, implementing a dynamic flip-flop principle and combine the cells in a network or “logic fabric.” Contrary to proofs by the founders of this field, speed is limited only by the message bandwidth of the optical signal, and, of course, no energy is dissipated. There are still aspects that need additional work on issues like accuracy using analog components and size relative to electronics. But the basic problem is solved at last and paths toward solving the remaining problems have been identified.  相似文献

量子信令态在传输过程中,由于环境影响产生退相干,造成信令损伤,从而会对构建高生存性的量子纠缠信令网产生影响. 为分析所造成的影响,建立了自然灾害下的量子信令网Poisson损伤模型. 首先,根据信令保真度定义了灾害级数;其次,提出信令态平均损伤量子比特数,并给出信令网生存函数;最后,研究了信令损伤的修复策略并进行仿真. 仿真结果表明,灾害级数的增加会大大降低信令网生存性,而增加信令转接点数和控制信令损伤上限可改善生存性,且该修复策略循环次数少,并可将信令态的保真度由0.6快速提高到0.9,信令网的生存函数由0.4提高到0.9. 关键词: 量子通信 量子信令网 保真度 生存函数  相似文献

Storage area networks (SANs) are an essential part of enterprise computing today. There is no comprehensive business continuity plan without SANs in the picture. This paper proposes and evaluates network survivability of optical paths in wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) based storage area networks in a metro ring network. The paper begins with a background on network survivability in metro WDM ring network. Subsequently, the network and node architectures along with their medium access control (MAC) protocols are described. In this work, one link failure (a single cable cut) in metro WDM based SANs in a ring network architecture is considered. Performance evaluation for network survivability in metro WDM SAN is carried out by means of discrete-event computer simulation. Network throughput and packet delay are investigated. The network performance is evaluated for asymmetric (unbalanced) traffic scenarios under Poisson and self-similar traffic.  相似文献

Ultrasonic pulse velocity technique is one of the most popular non-destructive techniques used in the assessment of concrete properties. However, it is very difficult to accurately evaluate the concrete compressive strength with this method since the ultrasonic pulse velocity values are affected by a number of factors, which do not necessarily influence the concrete compressive strength in the same way or to the same extent. This paper deals with the analysis of such factors on the velocity-strength relationship. The relationship between ultrasonic pulse velocity, static and dynamic Young’s modulus and shear modulus was also analyzed. The influence of aggregate, initial concrete temperature, type of cement, environmental temperature, and w/c ratio was determined by our own experiments. Based on the experimental results, a numerical model was established within the Matlab programming environment. The multi-layer feed-forward neural network was used for this purpose. The paper demonstrates that artificial neural networks can be successfully used in modelling the velocity-strength relationship. This model enables us to easily and reliably estimate the compressive strength of concrete by using only the ultrasonic pulse velocity value and some mix parameters of concrete.  相似文献

As advanced structural materials such as graphite epoxy, metal matrix and ceramic matrix composites or optical mirror substrate materials such as beryllium and silicon carbide are increasingly used in high performance systems, their ability to withstand environments that will cause loss of system survivability must be taken into account. The concept of survivability includes cases where the system is not destroyed, but is inoperable because of subtle effects on the system. These effects can be delamination from weak shock events, critical platform misalignment from large slew motions, or even mirror coating and substrate deformations of as little as a fraction of a micron from their specifications. All the effects listed above, in the system survivability realm, are very subtle and are due to transient deformations at a local or micromechanical level. This paper describes recent work at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory, under the Office of Naval Research funding, to understand the transient mechanisms in composite interfaces that lead to impact delamination. The principal tool of investigation was dynamic moiré interferometry coupled with continuum analysis. Results for two configurations under impact loading are presented. The first result shows dynamic interfacial shears in a AS4/3501-6 [0/90]s composite. The second result shows similar effects in a [02/902]s configuration of the same material. Similarities and dissimilarities will be discussed, as will future work.  相似文献

It is envisaged that photonic networking will play a significant role in improving performance and reliability in both civil and military avionics systems. Of all the available photonic multiplexing technologies, wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) has been the primary focus of attention within mainstream telecommunications offering increased throughput at a reasonable cost, with scope for enhanced routing flexibility, connectivity and network survivability. A direct mapping of techniques and devices from the maturing telecommunications sector is, however, not possible because of the stringent requirements of systems operating in the hostile aerospace environment. This paper gives an outline of these requirements and discusses, in detail, the design and development of a multi-gigabit, broadband optical WDM network architecture, specifically for use on aerospace platforms. The paper will also discuss a key element in the system, the arrayed-waveguide grating (AWG) wavelength multiplexing component, which has been designed to allow operation over the full military temperature specification without environmental conditioning.  相似文献

This paper investigates the competitive relationship and rivalry of industrial markets, using Chinese household electrical appliance firms as a platform for the study. The common complex network models belong to one-level networks in layered classification, while this paper formulates and evaluates a new two-level network model, in which the first level is the whole unweighted-undirected network useful for macro-analyzing the industrial market structure while the second level is a local weighted-directed network capable of micro-analyzing the inter-firm rivalry in the market. It is believed that the relationship is determined by objective factors whereas the action is rather subjective, and the idea in this paper lies in that the objective relationship and the subjective action subjected to this relationship are being simultaneously considered but at deferent levels of the model which may be applicable to many real applications.  相似文献

Since the optical network carries a lot of traffic, the survivability is an important issue to ensure the service continuity. At the same time, with the network scale increasing, the optical network has been divided into multi-domains each of which is managed by a unique network provider. Therefore, the survivability in multi-domain optical networks has got more attention in recent years. However, current works mostly addressed the unicast survivability and few or no solved the multicast survivability in multi-domain optical networks. Therefore, in this paper we propose two heuristic algorithms called Multicast Multi-domain Dedicated Protection (MMDP) and Multicast Multi-domain Shared Protection (MMSP) to provide the survivability in multicast multi-domain optical networks. In MMDP and MMSP, to provide the intra-domain protection, we use the modified Minimal-cost Path Heuristic (MPH) algorithm to compute the intra-domain survivable multicast tree. To provide the inter-domain protection, based on multi-domain logical topology, we firstly use the MPH algorithm to compute the inter-domain logical multicast tree and then use the Dijkstra algorithm to compute the inter-domain logical backup sub-path for each inter-link on this logical multicast tree. Simulation results show that MMSP has better resource utilization efficiency and lower blocking probability.  相似文献

In the optical multicast network, node and link failures have very important influence on the network survivability which may lead to multiple destinations cannot receive data. Based on the wavelength layered-graph method, a method of efficiency-score based on heuristic algorithm of pre-configured cycle (p-Cycle) based-segment protection (ESHS) for dynamic multicast with limited-range wavelength conversion was presented in this paper. By finding the multicast tree segment protection, the total available p-Cycles are constructed for the multicast. Then we calculate each p-Cycle efficiency-score, the highest efficient-score p-Cycle is selected as the multicast route protection p-Cycle. The simulation results show that the ESHS can get higher performance than the existing ESHT algorithm, in terms of multicast request blocking probability and wavelength utilization.  相似文献

Bad meteorological conditions may reduce the reliability of power communication equipment, which can increase the distortion possibility of fault information in the communication process, hence raising its uncertainty and incompleteness. To address the issue, this paper proposes a fault diagnosis method for transmission networks considering meteorological factors. Firstly, a spiking neural P system considering a meteorological living environment and its matrix reasoning algorithm are designed. Secondly, based on the topology structure of the target power transmission network and the action logic of its protection devices, a diagnosis model based on the spiking neural P system considering the meteorological living environment is built for each suspicious fault transmission line. Following this, the action messages of protection devices and corresponding temporal order information are used to obtain initial pulse values of input neurons of the diagnosis model, which are then modified with the gray fuzzy theory. Finally, the matrix reasoning algorithm of each model is executed in a parallel manner to obtain diagnosis results. Experiment results achieved out on IEEE 39-bus system show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献
