The crystal structures of three first‐row transition metal–pyridine–sulfate complexes, namely catena‐poly[[tetrakis(pyridine‐κN)nickel(II)]‐μ‐sulfato‐κ2O:O′], [Ni(SO4)(C5H5N)4]n, (1), di‐μ‐sulfato‐κ4O:O‐bis[tris(pyridine‐κN)copper(II)], [Cu2(SO4)2(C5H5N)6], (2), and catena‐poly[[tetrakis(pyridine‐κN)zinc(II)]‐μ‐sulfato‐κ2O:O′‐[bis(pyridine‐κN)zinc(II)]‐μ‐sulfato‐κ2O:O′], [Zn2(SO4)2(C5H5N)6]n, (3), are reported. Ni compound (1) displays a polymeric crystal structure, with infinite chains of NiII atoms adopting an octahedral N4O2 coordination environment that involves four pyridine ligands and two bridging sulfate ligands. Cu compound (2) features a dimeric molecular structure, with the CuII atoms possessing square‐pyramidal N3O2 coordination environments that contain three pyridine ligands and two bridging sulfate ligands. Zn compound (3) exhibits a polymeric crystal structure of infinite chains, with two alternating zinc coordination environments, i.e. octahedral N4O2 coordination involving four pyridine ligands and two bridging sulfate ligands, and tetrahedral N2O2 coordination containing two pyridine ligands and two bridging sulfate ligands. The observed coordination environments are consistent with those predicted by crystal field theory.  相似文献

Zinc(II) carboxylates with O‐, S‐ and N‐donor ligands are interesting for their structural features, as well as for their antibacterial and antifungal activities. The one‐dimensional zinc(II) coordination complex catena‐poly[[bis(2,4‐dichlorobenzoato‐κO)zinc(II)]‐μ‐isonicotinamide‐κ2N1:O], [Zn(C7H3Cl2O2)2(C6H6N2O)]n, has been prepared and characterized by IR spectroscopy, single‐crystal X‐ray analysis and thermal analysis. The tetrahedral ZnO3N coordination about the ZnII cation is built up by the N atom of the pyridine ring, an O atom of the carbonyl group of the isonicotinamide ligand and two O atoms of two dichlorobenzoate ligands. Isonicotinamide serves as a bridge between tetrahedra, with a Zn...Zn distance of 8.8161 (7) Å. Additionally, π–π interactions between the planar benzene rings contribute to the stabilization of the extended structure. The structure is also stabilized by intermolecular hydrogen bonds between the amino and carboxylate groups of the ligands, forming a two‐dimensional network. During thermal decomposition of the complex, isonicotinamide, dichlorobenzene and carbon dioxide were evolved. The final solid product of the thermal decomposition heated up to 1173 K was metallic zinc.  相似文献

Seven crystal structures of five first‐row (Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, and Zn) and one second‐row (Cd) transition metal–4‐picoline (pic)–sulfate complexes of the form [M(pic)x]SO4 are reported. These complexes are catena‐poly[[tetrakis(4‐methylpyridine‐κN)metal(II)]‐μ‐sulfato‐κ2O:O′], [M(SO4)(C6H7N)4]n, where the metal/M is iron, cobalt, nickel, and cadmium, di‐μ‐sulfato‐κ4O:O‐bis[tris(4‐methylpyridine‐κN)copper(II)], [Cu2(SO4)2(C6H7N)6], catena‐poly[[bis(4‐methylpyridine‐κN)zinc(II)]‐μ‐sulfato‐κ2O:O′], [Zn(SO4)(C6H7N)2]n, and catena‐poly[[tris(4‐methylpyridine‐κN)zinc(II)]‐μ‐sulfato‐κ2O:O′], [Zn(SO4)(C6H7N)3]n. The Fe, Co, Ni, and Cd compounds are isomorphous, displaying polymeric crystal structures with infinite chains of MII ions adopting an octahedral N4O2 coordination environment that involves four picoline ligands and two bridging sulfate anions. The Cu compound features a dimeric crystal structure, with the CuII ions possessing square‐pyramidal N3O2 coordination environments that contain three picoline ligands and two bridging sulfate anions. Zinc crystallizes in two forms, one exhibiting a polymeric crystal structure with infinite chains of ZnII ions adopting a tetrahedral N2O2 coordination containing two picoline ligands and two bridging sulfate anions, and the other exhibiting a polymeric crystal structure with infinite chains of ZnII ions adopting a trigonal bipyramidal N3O2 coordination containing three picoline ligands and two bridging sulfate anions. The structures are compared with the analogous pyridine complexes, and the observed coordination environments are examined in relation to crystal field theory.  相似文献

Three new complexes with the ligand 3,5‐diamino‐1,2,4‐triazole (Hdatrz), [Co32‐Hdatrz)6(H2O)6]·(NO3)8·4H2O ( 1 ), [Cu32‐Hdatrz)42‐Cl)2(H2O)2Cl2]·Cl2·4H2O·2C2H5OH ( 2 ) and {[Zn22‐SO4) (μ3‐datrz)2]·2H2O}n ( 3 ) have been synthesized and structurally characterized. Complex 1 has a linear trinuclear mixed‐valence cobalt structure with six neutral triazole ligands in the N(1), N(2)‐bridging mode. The central cobalt atom, Co(1), is coordinated to six nitrogen atoms (octahedral) whereas the terminal cobalt atom, Co(2), is coordinated to an N3O3 moiety (octahedral). In complex 1 , the uudd cyclic water clusters, nitrate anions and the trimeric cations are linked to a supramolecular structure. Complex 2 features a linear trinuclear copper(II) core, with four N(1), N(2)‐bridging triazole ligands and two chlorido bridges. The central copper atom is coordinated to an N4Cl2 moiety (octahedral) whereas the terminal copper is coordinated to an N2Cl2O moiety (square‐pyramidal). In complex 2 , tetrahedral hydrogen bonding interactions play an important role to form a supramolecular network. Complex 3 exhibits a polymeric structure, with N(1), N(2), N(4)‐bridging triazolate ligands and sulfate bridges, in which zinc is coordinated to an N3O moiety (tetrahedral). In complex 3 , water molecules and sulfate anions construct the sulfate‐water supramolecular chain with hydrogen bonding interactions. In addition, the complexes were investigated by elemental analyses, IR spectroscopic, and thermogravimetric measurements.  相似文献

Luminescent metal complexes are used in photooptical devices. Zinc(II) complexes are of interest because of the ability to tune their color, their high thermal stability and their favorable carrier transport character. In particular, some zinc(II) complexes with aryl diimine and/or heterocyclic ligands have been shown to emit brightly in the blue region of the spectrum. Zinc(II) complexes bearing derivatized imidazoles have been explored for possible optoelectronic applications. The structures of two zinc(II) complexes of 5,6‐dimethyl‐2‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1‐[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methyl]‐1H‐benzimidazole (L), namely dichlorido(dimethylformamide‐κO){5,6‐dimethyl‐2‐(pyridin‐2‐yl‐κN)‐1‐[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methyl]‐1H‐benzimidazole‐κN3}zinc(II) dimethylformamide monosolvate, [ZnCl2(C20H18N4)(C3H7NO)]·C3H7NO, (I), and bis(acetato‐κ2O,O′){5,6‐dimethyl‐2‐(pyridin‐2‐yl‐κN)‐1‐[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methyl]‐1H‐benzimidazole‐κN3}zinc(II) ethanol monosolvate, [Zn(C2H3O2)2(C20H18N4)]·C2H5OH, (II), are reported. Complex (I) crystallized as a dimethylformamide solvate and exhibits a distorted trigonal bipyramidal coordination geometry. The coordination sphere consists of a bidentate L ligand spanning axial to equatorial sites, two chloride ligands in equatorial sites, and an O‐bound dimethylformamide ligand in the remaining axial site. The other complex, (II), crystallized as an ethanol solvate. The ZnII atom has a distorted trigonal prismatic coordination geometry, with two bidentate acetate ligands occupying two edges and a bidentate L ligand occupying the third edge of the prism. Complexes (I) and (II) emit in the blue region of the spectrum. The results of density functional theory (DFT) calculations suggest that the luminescence of L results from π*←π transitions and that the luminescence of the complexes results from interligand charge‐transfer transitions. The orientation of the 2‐(pyridin‐2‐yl) substituent with respect to the benzimidazole system was found to have an impact on the calculated HOMO–LUMO gap (HOMO is highest occupied molecular orbital and LUMO is lowest unoccupied molecular orbital).  相似文献

The three transition‐metal complexes, (meso‐5,7,7,12,14,14‐hexamethyl‐1,4,8,11‐tetraazacyclotetradecane‐κ4N)bis(perchlorato‐κO)copper(II), [Cu(ClO4)2(C18H40N4)], (I), (meso‐5,7,7,12,14,14‐hexamethyl‐1,4,8,11‐tetraazacyclotetradecane‐κ4N)bis(nitrato‐κO)zinc(II), [Zn(NO3)2(C18H40N4)], (II), and aquachlorido(meso‐5,7,7,12,14,14‐hexamethyl‐1,4,8,11‐tetraazacyclotetradecane‐κ4N)copper(II) chloride, [CuCl(C18H40N4)(H2O)]Cl, (III), are described. The molecules display a very similarly distorted 4+2 octahedral environment for the cation [located at an inversion centre in (I) and (II)], defined by the macrocycle N4 group in the equatorial sites and two further ligands in trans‐axial positions [two O–ClO3 ligands in (I), two O–NO2 ligands in (II) and one chloride and one aqua ligand in (III)]. The most significant difference in molecular shape resides in these axial ligands, the effect of which on the intra‐ and intermolecular hydrogen bonding is discussed. In the case of (I), all strong hydrogen‐bond donors are saturated in intramolecular interactions, while weak intermolecular C—H...O contacts result in a three‐dimensional network. In (II) and (III), instead, there are N—H and O—H donors left over for intermolecular interactions, giving rise to the formation of strongly linked but weakly interacting chains.  相似文献

Phosphoraneiminato Acetate Cluster of Copper and Zinc. Crystal Structures of [Cu4(NPEt3)2(O2CCH3)6] and [Zn4(NPEt3)2(O2CCH3)6] The anhydrous acetates of copper(II) and zinc react with the silylated phosphaneimine Me3SiNPEt3 in dichloromethane at 20 °C forming the mixed phosphoraneiminato acetate clusters [Cu4(NPEt3)2(O2CCH3)6] ( 1 ), which forms emerald crystals, and colourless [Zn4(NPEt3)2 · (O2CCH3)6] ( 2 ). In spite of analogous composition the structures of 1 and 2 are completely different. In the asymmetric unit of 1 three copper atoms of an almost isosceles triangle are linked via two nitrogen atoms of the NPEt3 groups to form a trigonal bipyramidal aggregate. One of these three copper atoms is chelated by an acetate group, another one is connected with the fourth copper atom via three μ2‐O2C–CH3 groups. The asymmetric units are associated via a μ2‐O2C–CH3 group and a μ3‐OC(O)CH3 group at a time so that infinite chains result. In 2 two zinc atoms are linked via the nitrogen atoms of the two NPEt3 groups to form an almost centrosymmetric four‐membered ring. Both nitrogen atoms of the four‐membered ring are connected with another zinc atom each. These zinc atoms again are linked with the zinc atoms of the Zn2N2 four‐membered ring via two μ2‐O2C–CH3 groups each and additionally coordinated with a terminal acetate ligand each.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the title compound, triacetato‐1κO;3κ4O,O′‐(2,2′‐iminodiethanol)‐1κ3O,N,O′‐bis(μ‐2,2′‐iminodiethanolato)‐1κ2O:2κ6O,N,O′:3κ2O′‐cobalt(III)copper(II)zinc(II), [CoCuZn(C4H9NO2)2(C2H3O2)3(C4H11NO2)], shows a molecule with a triangular three‐metal core. The metal sites were refined with full occupancies, but the possibility that the Zn and Cu positions are actually mixed Cu/Zn sites cannot be excluded. The intermetallic Cu⋯Co and Co⋯Zn distances are 2.924 (3) and 2.906 (3) Å, respectively. The neutral molecules are held together by N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds involving amine groups from the 2,2′‐iminodiethanol ligands and acetate groups to build two‐dimensional layers.  相似文献

The title compounds, tetrakis(μ‐benzoato‐O:O′)bis(2,6‐diaminopyridine)‐1κN,2κN‐dicopper(II)–acetonitrile (1/2), [Cu2(C7H5O2)4(C5H7N3)2]·2C2H3N, (I), and bis(acetonitrile)‐1κN,2κN‐tetrakis(μ‐benzoato‐O:O′)dicopper(II)–acetonitrile (1/1.5), [Cu2(C7H5O2)4(C2H3N)2]·1.5C2H3N, (II), crystallize as acetonitrile solvates exhibiting different stability. They have similar molecular structures with discrete dimeric units located at crystallographic inversion centres. The copper ions are bridged by four benzoate groups and neutral N‐donor ligands, viz. 2,6‐diaminopyridine in (I) and acetonitrile in (II), are coordinated at apical positions. The diverse stability is probably due to hydrogen‐bond interactions of the solvated acetonitrile molecules with neighbouring dimers in compound (I).  相似文献

In the new tin(IV) and copper(II) complexes, cis‐dichlorido‐trans‐dimethyl‐cis‐bis(N,N′,N′′‐tricyclohexylphosphoric triamide‐κO)tin(IV), [Sn(CH3)2Cl2(C18H36N3OP)2], (I), and trans‐diaquabis(N,N′,N′′‐tricyclohexylphosphoric triamide‐κO)copper(II) dinitrate–N,N′,N′′‐tricyclohexylphosphoric triamide (1/2), [Cu(C18H36N3OP)2(H2O)2](NO3)2·2C18H36N3OP, (II), the N,N′,N′′‐tricyclohexylphosphoric triamide (PTA) ligands exist as hydrogen‐bonded dimers via P=O...H—N interactions around the metal center. The asymmetric unit in (I) consists of one complete complex molecule located on a general position. The SnIV coordination geometry is octahedral with two cis hydrogen‐bonded PTA ligands, two cis chloride ligands and two trans methyl groups. The asymmetric unit in (II) contains one half of a [Cu(PTA)2(H2O)2]2+ dication on a special position (site symmetry for the Cu atom), one nitrate anion and one free PTA molecule, both on general positions. The complex adopts a square‐planar trans‐[CuO2O2] coordination geometry, with the CuII ion coordinated by two PTA ligands and two water molecules. Each of the noncoordinated PTA molecules is hydrogen bonded to a neighboring coordinated PTA molecule and an adjacent water molecule; the phosphoryl O atom acts as a double‐H‐atom acceptor. The P atoms in the PTA ligands of both complexes and in the noncoordinated hydrogen‐bonded molecules in (II) adopt a slightly distorted tetrahedral environment.  相似文献

The title compound, bis(μ‐4‐acetyl‐3‐amino‐5‐methylpyrazolato‐N1:N2)bis[(acetato‐O)(4‐acetyl‐3‐amino‐5‐methylpyrazole‐N2)zinc(II)], [Zn2(C6H8N3O)2(C2H3O2)2(C6H9N3O)2], ex‐ists as a centrosymmetric binuclear molecule with two tetrahedrally coordinated Zn atoms bridged by two pyrazolate anions. The geometry of the terminal and bridging pyrazole ligands are slightly different as a consequence of their differing modes of coordination.  相似文献

The isomorphous title complexes, dichlorido[4‐(3,5‐dimethyl‐4H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐4‐yl)benzoic acid‐κN1]zinc(II) dihydrate, [ZnCl2(C11H11N3O2)2]·2H2O, and dibromido[4‐(3,5‐dimethyl‐4H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐4‐yl)benzoic acid‐κN1]zinc(II) dihydrate, [ZnBr2(C11H11N3O2)2]·2H2O, were synthesized and crystallized by slow evaporation of the solvent from a solution of the ligand and either zinc chloride or zinc bromide, respectively, in water/ethanol. The ZnII ions occupy twofold axes in the noncentrosymmetric orthorhombic space group Fdd2. The metal ion is approximately tetrahedrally coordinated by two monodentate triazole groups of the ligands and additionally by two halide ions. The water molecules incorporate the complexes into a three‐dimensional framework made up by hydrogen bonds. Furthermore, each complex possesses two hydrogen‐bond‐donor sites represented by the carboxy groups and two acceptor sites at the noncoordinating N atoms of the triazoles.  相似文献

Coordination polymers are a thriving class of functional solid‐state materials and there have been noticeable efforts and progress toward designing periodic functional structures with desired geometrical attributes and chemical properties for targeted applications. Self‐assembly of metal ions and organic ligands is one of the most efficient and widely utilized methods for the construction of CPs under hydro(solvo)thermal conditions. 2‐(Pyridin‐3‐yl)‐1H‐imidazole‐4,5‐dicarboxylate (HPIDC2−) has been proven to be an excellent multidentate ligand due to its multiple deprotonation and coordination modes. Crystals of poly[aquabis[μ3‐5‐carboxy‐2‐(pyridin‐3‐yl)‐1H‐imidazole‐4‐carboxylato‐κ5N1,O5:N3,O4:N2]copper(II)dicopper(I)], [CuIICuI2(C10H5N3O4)2(H2O)]n, (I), were obtained from 2‐(pyridin‐3‐yl)‐1H‐imidazole‐4,5‐dicarboxylic acid (H3PIDC) and copper(II) chloride under hydrothermal conditions. The asymmetric unit consists of one independent CuII ion, two CuI ions, two HPIDC2− ligands and one coordinated water molecule. The CuII centre displays a square‐pyramidal geometry (CuN2O3), with two N,O‐chelating HPIDC2− ligands occupying the basal plane in a trans geometry and one O atom from a coordinated water molecule in the axial position. The CuI atoms adopt three‐coordinated Y‐shaped coordinations. In each [CuN2O] unit, deprotonated HPIDC2− acts as an N,O‐chelating ligand, and a symmetry‐equivalent HPIDC2− ligand acts as an N‐atom donor via the pyridine group. The HPIDC2− ligands in the polymer serve as T‐shaped 3‐connectors and adopt a μ3‐κ2N,O2N′,O′:κN′′‐coordination mode, linking one CuII and two CuI cations. The Cu cations are arranged in one‐dimensional –Cu1–Cu2–Cu3– chains along the [001] direction. Further crosslinking of these chains by HPIDC2− ligands along the b axis in a –Cu2–HPIDC2−–Cu3–HPIDC2−–Cu1– sequence results in a two‐dimensional polymer in the (100) plane. The resulting (2,3)‐connected net has a (123)2(12)3 topology. Powder X‐ray diffraction confirmed the phase purity for (I), and susceptibilty measurements indicated a very weak ferromagnetic behaviour. A thermogravimetric analysis shows the loss of the apical aqua ligand before decomposition of the title compound.  相似文献

Multidentate N‐heterocyclic compounds form a variety of metal complexes with many intriguing structures and interesting properties. The title coordination polymer, catena‐poly[zinc(II)‐bis{μ‐2‐[(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)methyl]‐1H‐benzimidazole}‐κ2N3:N3′;N3′:N3‐zinc(II)‐bis(μ‐benzene‐1,2‐dicarboxylato)‐κ2O1:O23O1,O1′:O2], [Zn2(C8H4O4)2(C11H10N4)2]n, has been synthesized by the reaction of Zn(NO3)2 with 2‐[(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)methyl]‐1H‐benzimidazole (imb) and benzene‐1,2‐dicarboxylic acid (H2bdic) under hydrothermal conditions. There are two crystallographically distinct imb ligands [imb(A) and imb(B)] in the structure which adopt very similar coordination geometries. The imb(A) ligand bridges two symmetry‐related Zn1 ions, yielding a binuclear [(Zn1)2{imb(A)}2] unit, and the imb(B) ligand bridges two symmetry‐related Zn2 ions resulting in a binuclear [(Zn2)2{imb(B)}2] unit. The above‐mentioned binuclear units are further connected alternately by pairs of bridging bdic2− ligands, forming an infinite one‐dimensional chain. These one‐dimensional chains are further connected through N—H...O hydrogen bonds, leading to a two‐dimensional layered structure. In addition, the title polymer exhibits good fluorescence properties in the solid state at room temperature.  相似文献

Three new diclofenac‐based copper(II) complexes, namely tetrakis{μ‐2‐[2‐(2,6‐dichloroanilino)phenyl]acetato‐κ2O:O′}bis(methanol‐κO)copper(II), [Cu2(μ‐dicl)4(CH3OH)2] ( 1 ), bis{2‐[2‐(2,6‐dichloroanilino)phenyl]acetato‐κ2O,O′}bis(1‐vinyl‐1H‐imidazole‐κN3)copper(II), [Cu(dicl)2(vim)2] ( 2 ), and bis{2‐[2‐(2,6‐dichloroanilino)phenyl]acetato‐κ2O,O′}bis(1H‐imidazole‐κN3)copper(II), [Cu(dicl)2(im)2] ( 3 ) [dicl is diclofenac (C14H10Cl2NO2), vim is 1‐vinylimidazole (C5H6N2) and im is imidazole (C3H4N2)], have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT–IR spectroscopy, thermal analysis and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. X‐ray diffraction analysis shows that complex 1 consists of dimeric units in which the dicl ligand exhibits a bidentate syn,syn‐μ2 coordination mode linking two copper(II) centres. Complexes 2 and 3 have mononuclear units with the general formula [Cu(dicl)2L2] (L is vim or im) in which the CuII ions are octahedrally coordinated by two L and two dicl chelating ligands. The L and dicl ligands both occupy the trans positions of the coordination octahedron. The different coordination modes of dicl in the title complexes were revealed by Fourier transform IR (FT–IR) spectroscopy. The spin matching between the copper(II) centres in the dimeric [Cu2(μ‐dicl)4(CH3OH)2] units was also confirmed by magnetic data to be lower than the spin‐only value and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectra. The thermal properties of the complexes were investigated by thermogravimetric (TG) and differential thermal analysis (DTA) techniques.  相似文献

The title compound, trans-bis(3-amino-2-phenyl-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one-κ2N,O4)bis(perchlorato-κO)copper(II), [Cu(ClO4)2(C15H11NO2)2], is composed of mononuclear units wherein the central CuII cation occupies a crystallographic inversion centre. The cation is coordinated by two bidentate 3-aminoflavone ligands occupying the equatorial sites and by two perchlorate anions in the apical positions, thereby giving rise to a markedly elongated octahedral coordination geometry. Two symmetry-related intermolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into chains of rings running parallel to the [100] direction, while intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds help to determine the orientation of the apical perchlorate anions.  相似文献

The title compounds, bis(pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato‐N,O,O′)copper(II) monohydrate, [Cu(C7H4NO4)2]·H2O, andbis(pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato‐N,O,O′)zinc(II) trihydrate, [Zn(C7H4NO4)2]·3H2O, have distorted octahedral geometries about the metal centres. Both metal ions are bonded to four O atoms and two pyridyl‐N atoms from the two terdentate ligand molecules, which are nearly perpendicular to each other. The copper(II) complex has twofold crystallographic symmetry and contains two different ligand molecules, one of which is neutral and another doubly ionized. In contrast, the zinc(II) complex contains two identical singly ionized ligand molecules. Both crystal structures are stabilized by O—H?O intermolecular hydrogen bonds between the complex and the water molecules.  相似文献

The title compound, [Ru2(C2H3O2)4(C15H16N2O2)2], lies on a crystallographic inversion center and exhibits an Ru—Ru bond length of 2.2847 (8) Å. There are weak intramolecular hydrogen‐bonding interactions between the N1,N2‐di‐p‐anisylformamidine (HDAniF) ligands and the bridging acetate ligands. The molecule is one of the few examples of a crystallographically characterized axial bis‐adduct of a {Ru2}4+ complex with two N‐donor ligands.  相似文献

Two trinuclear Ni(II) complexes Ni3(L1)2(py)2(DMF)(H2O) (1) and Ni3(L2)2(py)2(DMF)2 (2) with two new trianionic pentadentate ligands N-(3,5-dimethylbenzoyl)-salicylhydrazide (H3L1) and N-(phenylacetyl)-5-nitrosalicylhydrazide (H3L2) have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. Nickel ions in the two complexes have square-planar/octahedral/square-planar coordination. Central metal ion and two terminal metal ions in the two complexes are combined by two bridging deprotonated ligands, forming a trinuclear structural unit with an M–N–N–M–N–N–M core. Studies on the trinuclear Ni(II) complexes show that the β-branched N-acylsalicylhydrazide ligands with sterically flexible Cα methylene groups yield linear trinuclear Ni(II) complexes, while α-branched N-acylsalicylhydrazide ligands tend to form bent trinuclear Ni(II) complexes. Antibacterial screening data in a previous study indicates that bent trinuclear Ni(II) compound 1 is more active than linear compound 2 and less active than a tetranuclear nickel compound.  相似文献

The crystal structures of the title complexes, namely trans‐bis(isoquinoline‐3‐carboxylato‐κ2N,O)bis(methanol‐κO)cobalt(II), [Co(C10H6NO2)2(CH3OH)2], and the corresponding nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes, [Ni(C10H6NO2)2(CH3OH)2] and [Cu(C10H6NO2)2(CH3OH)2], are isomorphous and contain metal ions at centres of inversion. The three compounds have the same distorted octahedral coordination geometry, and each metal ion is bonded by two quinoline N atoms, two carboxylate O atoms and two methanol O atoms. Two isoquinoline‐3‐carboxylate ligands lie in trans positions, forming the equatorial plane, and the two methanol ligands occupy the axial positions. The complex molecules are linked together by O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds between the methanol ligands and neighbouring carboxylate groups.  相似文献
