In this paper, we characterize the dynamic of every Abelian subgroups of , or . We show that there exists a -invariant, dense open set U in saturated by minimal orbits with a union of at most n -invariant vector subspaces of of dimension n−1 or n−2 over . The purpose of this paper is to extend the construction of Birkhoff coordinates for the KdV equation from the phase space of square integrable 1-periodic functions with mean value zero to the phase space of mean value zero distributions from the Sobolev space endowed with the symplectic structure More precisely, we construct a globally defined real-analytic symplectomorphism where is a weighted Hilbert space of sequences supplied with the canonical Poisson structure so that the KdV Hamiltonian for potentials in is a function of the actions alone.  相似文献

For a given map defined on the field of p-adic numbers satisfying
for some integer r, a Markov process on induced by the map ϕ is constructed in (Kaneko and Zhao (1994) Forum Math. J. 16, 69). This approach can still be our choice in constructing a Markov process on finite algebraic extension of . We will give an answer to the question as to how Markov process driven by set of maps will be addressed. In this article we study nondegenerate projective curves of degree d which are not arithmetically Cohen-Macaulay. Note that for a rational normal curve and a point . Our main result is about the relation between the geometric properties of X and the position of P with respect to . We show that the graded Betti numbers of X are uniquely determined by the rank of P with respect to . In particular, X satisfies property N 2,p if and only if . Therefore property N 2,p of X is controlled by and conversely can be read off from the minimal free resolution of X. This result provides a non-linearly normal example for which the converse to Theorem 1.1 in (Eisenbud et al., Compositio Math 141:1460–1478, 2005) holds. Also our result implies that for nondegenerate projective curves of degree d which are not arithmetically Cohen–Macaulay, there are exactly distinct Betti tables.  相似文献

Let be the variety of irreducible sextics with six cusps as singularities. Let be one of irreducible components of . Denoting by the space of moduli of smooth curves of genus 4, we consider the rational map sending the general point [Γ] of Σ, corresponding to a plane curve , to the point of parametrizing the normalization curve of Γ. The number of moduli of Σ is, by definition the dimension of Π(Σ). We know that , where ρ(2, 4, 6) is the Brill–Noether number of linear series of dimension 2 and degree 6 on a curve of genus 4. Let denote the set of simultaneously - approximable points in and denote the set of multiplicatively ψ-approximable points in . Let be a manifold in . The aim is to develop a metric theory for the sets and analogous to the classical theory in which is simply . In this note, we mainly restrict our attention to the case that is a planar curve . A complete Hausdorff dimension theory is established for the sets and . A divergent Khintchine type result is obtained for ; i.e. if a certain sum diverges then the one-dimensional Lebesgue measure on of is full. Furthermore, in the case that is a rational quadric the convergent Khintchine type result is obtained for both types of approximation. Our results for naturally generalize the dimension and Lebesgue measure statements of Beresnevich et al. (Mem AMS, 179 (846), 1–91 (2006)). For each n > 1 and each multiplicative closed set of integers S, we study closed model category structures on the pointed category of topological spaces, where the classes of weak equivalences are classes of maps inducing isomorphism on homotopy groups with coefficients in determined torsion abelian groups, in degrees higher than or equal to n. We take coefficients either on all the cyclic groups with sS, or in the abelian group where is the group of fractions of the form with sS. In the first case, for n > 1 the localized category is equivalent to the ordinary homotopy category of (n − 1)-connected CW-complexes whose homotopy groups are S-torsion. In the second case, for n > 1 we obtain that the localized category is equivalent to the ordinary homotopy category of (n − 1)-connected CW-complexes whose homotopy groups are S-torsion and the nth homotopy group is divisible. These equivalences of categories are given by colocalizations , obtained by cofibrant approximations on the model structures. These colocalization maps have nice universal properties. For instance, the map is final (in the homotopy category) among all the maps of the form YX with Y an (n − 1)-connected CW-complex whose homotopy groups are S-torsion and its nth homotopy group is divisible. The spaces , are constructed using the cones of Moore spaces of the form M(T, k), where T is a coefficient group of the corresponding structure of models, and homotopy colimits indexed by a suitable ordinal. If S is generated by a set P of primes and S p is generated by a prime pP one has that for n > 1 the category is equivalent to the product category . If the multiplicative system S is generated by a finite set of primes, then localized category is equivalent to the homotopy category of n-connected Ext-S-complete CW-complexes and a similar result is obtained for .  相似文献

Laguerre geometry of surfaces in is given in the book of Blaschke [Vorlesungen über Differentialgeometrie, Springer, Berlin Heidelberg New York (1929)], and has been studied by Musso and Nicolodi [Trans. Am. Math. soc. 348, 4321–4337 (1996); Abh. Math. Sem. Univ. Hamburg 69, 123–138 (1999); Int. J. Math. 11(7), 911–924 (2000)], Palmer [Remarks on a variation problem in Laguerre geometry. Rendiconti di Mathematica, Serie VII, Roma, vol. 19, pp. 281–293 (1999)] and other authors. In this paper we study Laguerre differential geometry of hypersurfaces in . For any umbilical free hypersurface with non-zero principal curvatures we define a Laguerre invariant metric g on M and a Laguerre invariant self-adjoint operator : TM → TM, and show that is a complete Laguerre invariant system for hypersurfaces in with n≥ 4. We calculate the Euler–Lagrange equation for the Laguerre volume functional of Laguerre metric by using Laguerre invariants. Using the Euclidean space , the semi-Euclidean space and the degenerate space we define three Laguerre space forms , and and define the Laguerre embeddings and , analogously to what happens in the Moebius geometry where we have Moebius space forms S n , and (spaces of constant curvature) and conformal embeddings and [cf. Liu et al. in Tohoku Math. J. 53, 553–569 (2001) and Wang in Manuscr. Math. 96, 517–534 (1998)]. Using these Laguerre embeddings we can unify the Laguerre geometry of hypersurfaces in , and . The peak algebra is a unital subalgebra of the symmetric group algebra, linearly spanned by sums of permutations with a common set of peaks. By exploiting the combinatorics of sparse subsets of [n−1] (and of certain classes of compositions of n called almost-odd and thin), we construct three new linear bases of . We discuss two peak analogs of the first Eulerian idempotent and construct a basis of semi-idempotent elements for the peak algebra. We use these bases to describe the Jacobson radical of and to characterize the elements of in terms of the canonical action of the symmetric groups on the tensor algebra of a vector space. We define a chain of ideals of , j = 0,..., , such that is the linear span of sums of permutations with a common set of interior peaks and is the peak algebra. Both the clear effects and minimum aberration criteria are the important rules for the design selection. In this paper, it is proved that some designs have weak minimum aberration, by considering the number of clear two-factor interactions in the designs. And some conditions are provided, under which a design can have the maximum number of clear two-factor interactions and weak minimum aberration at the same time. Some weak minimum aberration designs are provided for illustrations and two nonisomorphic weak minimum aberration designs are constructed at the end of this paper.  相似文献

Another hybrid conjugate gradient algorithm is subject to analysis. The parameter β k is computed as a convex combination of (Hestenes-Stiefel) and (Dai-Yuan) algorithms, i.e. . The parameter θ k in the convex combination is computed in such a way so that the direction corresponding to the conjugate gradient algorithm to be the Newton direction and the pair (s k , y k ) to satisfy the quasi-Newton equation , where and . The algorithm uses the standard Wolfe line search conditions. Numerical comparisons with conjugate gradient algorithms show that this hybrid computational scheme outperforms the Hestenes-Stiefel and the Dai-Yuan conjugate gradient algorithms as well as the hybrid conjugate gradient algorithms of Dai and Yuan. A set of 750 unconstrained optimization problems are used, some of them from the CUTE library.   相似文献

Suppose A generates a strongly continuous linear group on a Banach space X and B is a linear operator on X. It is shown that an extension of generates a strongly continuous semigroup if and only if the family of operators has an appropriate evolution system. This produces simple sufficient conditions for an extension of to generate a strongly continuous semigroup, including
(1)  being m-dissipative and for all x in the domain of B; or
(2)  being m-dissipative and being a commuting family of operators with
dense. This is applied to many differential operators; for at least one class of applications, the semigroup is generated by the closure of and the equivalence between semigroups and evolution systems enables us to construct it explicitly. In all the applications, including the sufficient conditions (1) and (2) above, the semigroup generated by an extension of is given by the Trotter product formula

This paper deals with the stability of the intersection of a given set with the solution, , of a given linear system whose coefficients can be arbitrarily perturbed. In the optimization context, the fixed constraint set X can be the solution set of the (possibly nonlinear) system formed by all the exact constraints (e.g., the sign constraints), a discrete subset of (as or { 0,1} n , as it happens in integer or Boolean programming) as well as the intersection of both kind of sets. We consider the computation of stable approximations to the exact solution of nonlinear ill-posed inverse problems F(x) = y with nonlinear operators F : XY between two Hilbert spaces X and Y by the Newton type methods
