A pyrimidine derivative, [(4,6-dimethyl-2-pyrimidinyl)thio] acetic acid (Hdpmta) has been synthesized and used as an ionophore in a Pb2+-selective electrode. The electrode works well over a wide range of concentration (1.0?×?10?5 to 1.0?×?10?2?mol?L?1) with the response slope of 27.4?mV?decade?1. The electrochemical behavior of Hdpmta on glassy carbon electrode shows that in 0.1?mol?L?1 TBAP/DMF solution, it has a well-defined irreversible cathodic peak at ?0.83?V. The electrode process involves single electron transfer. Furthermore, a novel Pb(II) complex, [Pb(μ 2-dpmta)2(H2O)2] n (1), has been synthesized through self-assembly of Pb(OAc)2 with Hdpmta in aqueous solution and characterized by elemental analysis and IR spectra. X-ray diffraction analysis shows that 1 is a 1D chain structure consisting of two kinds of rhomboidal Pb2O2 rings, in which a large amount of H-bonding is involved. By π–π interactions parallel chains are further assembled to a 2D supramolecular network. The UV, TG and photoluminescence properties of 1 have also been investigated.  相似文献

The construction and characteristic performance of a PVC membrane electrode responsive for sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) are described in this paper. The electrode based on CTA+DS? ion pair as ionophore in PVC membrane displays a Nernstian slope of ?58.8 ± 0.7 mV/decade in a 1.32 × 10?6 to 3.75 × 10?3 mol L?1 concentration range and a limit of detection of 1.13 × 10?6 mol L?1. The electrode can be used for 3 months without showing significant changes in the value of slope or working range. The electrode has been utilized as an end point indicator electrode for potentiometric titration involving Hyamine as titrant. More than 100 titrations were carried out for the evaluation of the electrode parameters: the standard deviations of the equivalent volume and the equivalent potential, the height of the potential jump and the number of faulty titrations. The behavior of the electrode was assessed with regard to their usefulness in routine analysis.  相似文献

A new PVC-membrane electrode for Co2+ ions based on N,N′-di(thiazol-2-yl)formimidamide (TF) as membrane carrier has been developed. The electrode resulted in Nernstian response (29.5?±?0.4?mV decade?1) for Co2+ ion over a wide concentration range (2.5?×?10?7 ?1.0?×?10?1?M) with a detection limit of 6.1?×?10?8?M. The sensor has a response time of about 10?s, and can be used for at least 2 months without observing any deviation from the Nernstain response. The electrode revealed good selectivity towards cobalt(II) ion over a wide variety of alkali, alkaline earth, transition, and heavy metal ions and could be used in the pH range 2.0–7.0. An amperometric pesticides inhibition biosensor has been developed and used for determination of pesticides in vegetable samples. To eliminate the interference of ascorbic acid, multilayer films of polyelectrolyte (chitosan/polystyrensulfonate) were coated on the glass carbon electrode. Then, acetylcholinesterase was immobilized on the electrode based on surface-treated nanoporous ZrO2/chitosan composite film as immobilization matrix. As a modified substrate, acetylthiocholine was hydrolysed by acetylcholinesterase and produced thiocholine which can be oxidized at +700?mV vs. SCE. Pesticides inhibit the activity of enzyme with an effect of decreasing of oxidation current. The experimental conditions were optimized. The electrode has a linear response to acetylthiocholine within 9.90?×?10?6 to 2.03?×?10?3?M. The electrode provided a linear response over a concentration range of 6.6?×?10?6 to 4.4?×?10?4?M for phoxim with a detection limit of 1.3?×?10?6?M, over a range of 1.0?×?10?8 to 5.9?×?10?7?M for malathion, and over a range of 8.6?×?10?6 to 5.2?×?10?4?M for dimethoate. ABSTRACT

A PVC membrane electrode for lead ion based on dimethyl benzo tetrathia fulvalene(DMBTTF)as membrane carrier was developed. The electrode exhibits a Nernstian response for Pb2? over a wide concentration range (10?2?10?5 M) with a limit of detection of 8*10?6M. It has a response time of 20s and can be used for at least 2 months without any considerable divergence in potentials. The proposed membrane sensor revealed good selectivities for Pb2? over a wide variety of other metal ions and could be used in pH range of 3.0-6.0.  相似文献

Potentiometric sensors with plasticized polymer membranes based on organic ion exchangers, tetraalkylammonium dodecyl sulfates (benzyldimethyldodecylammonium, benzyldimethyltetradecylammonium, dimethyldistearylammonium), have been proposed for the determination of quaternary ammonium salts in model solutions and KATAPAV technical solutions. The thermal stability, composition, and solubility product have been estimated. It has been shown that ion associates are stable to 60?C70°C, K S varies in the range from 2 × 10?8 to 5 × 10?10. The basic electrochemical parameters of the sensors have been determined as well, such as linearity ranges of the electrode function (5 × 10?5 (5 × 10?6)?1 × 10?2 (1 × 10?3) M) and slopes of the electrode functions (47?C59 mV/pc), response time (60?C90 sec), potential drift (2?C3 mV/day), operation period (3?C4 months), limits of detection for tetramethylammonium salts (1 × 10?5?4 × 10?7 M).  相似文献

Abstract

A new type of gold nanoparticles–attached indium tin oxide electrode was made. By SEM and EDS, the as‐prepared gold nanoparticles–modified ITO electrode was characterized. This modified electrode has been used for the determination of pirarubicin (THP) in urine by cyclic voltammetry. Compared to a bare ITO electrode, the modified electrode exhibited a marked enhancement in the current response. Liner calibration curves are obtained in the range 5×10?9mol/L~1.5×10?6 mol/L with a detection limit of 1×10?9 mol/L. The percentage of the recoveries ranged from 99.3% to 106.3%. The practical analytic utility of the method is illustrated by quantitative determination of THP in urine.  相似文献

A ratiometric fluorescent zinc probe 1 of carboxamidoquinoline with a carboxylic acid group was designed and synthesised. Probe 1 exhibits high selectivity for sensing Zn2+; about a 13-fold increase in fluorescence emission intensity and an 82?nm red-shift of fluorescence emission are observed upon binding Zn2+ in EtOH/H2O (1?:?1, V/V) solution. The ratiometric fluorescence response is attributed to the 1?:?1 complex formation between probe 1 and Zn2+ which has been utilised as the basis for the selective detection of Zn2+. The analytical performance characteristics of the proposed Zn2+-sensitive probe were investigated. The linear response range covers a concentration range of Zn2+ from 2.0?×?10?6 to 5.0?×?10?5?mol?L?1 and the detection limit is 2.7?×?10?7?mol?L?1. Abstract

Molybdenum has been determined by adsorption′voltammetry in a pH 2.40 buffer solution (0.005M NaH2PO4-0.01M H3PO4). Utilizing the Strong adsorption of 12-molybdenum phosphate at a hanging mercury electrode, nanomole sensitivities are achieved. The derivative peak current is directly proportional to the concentration of molybdenum (VI) over the range of 5×10–9?2×10?7M. The detection limit is 4×10?9M.  相似文献

The reactions between aluminium chloride and oxide anion were studied in molten LiCl+KCl eutectic at 470°C. For that purpose, a pO2? indicator electrode made with a membrane in yttria-stabilized zirconia has been used and tested by means of a carbonate ion whose dissociation constant, 10?2.15 atm, was determined. Then, the electrode has allowed us to obtain the formation constant of AlO+ (solvated by Cl?) and the solubility product of Al2O3 (S): 1010.7 and 10?27.4, respectively (molality scale). The equilibrium constant of the following system: 2HCl (g)+O2? agH2O (g)+2Cl? has also been determined: 10?9.93 atm mol kg?1. Abstract

A novel amperometric nitric oxide (NO) sensor based on a glassy carbon electrode modified with thionine and Nafion films has been developed. The oxidation peak current of NO increased significantly at the poly(thionine)/Nafion‐modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE), which can be used for the detection of NO. The oxidation peak current was linear with the concentration of nitric oxide over the range from 3.6×10?7 to 6.8×10?5 mol · L?1, and the detection limit was 7.2×10?8 mol · L?1. This nitric oxide sensor showed high selectivity to nitric oxide determination, and some potential interference could be eliminated effectively. The nitric oxide sensor has been applied to monitor NO release from rat kidney stimulated by L‐arginine. The results indicated the applicability of the NO sensor to biomedical samples.  相似文献

The study considers solubility in water, extractivity, and electrode properties of ionic liquids (IL), lauroyl tetrahexylammonium (THALS) and tetraoctylammonium lauroyl sarcosinate (TOALS). The values of solubility, found by potentiometry using ion-selective membranes of PVC-electrodes (ISE) have appeared to be 3.0 ± 0.4 mM and 0.011 ± 0.005 mM, for THALS and TOALS, respectively. Both IL quantitatively recover nitrophenol (99.9%) into chloroform from aqueous solutions in the pH range from 2 to 12. The application of IL as the active components of PVC-ISE enables the determination of lauroyl sarcosinate anion in the concentration range 1 × 10?2?C1 × 10?4 M for THALS and 1 × 10?2?C1 × 10?5 M for TOALS and the determination of mononitrophenols, 2,4-dinitrophenols and picrates (1 × 10?2 M?C1 × 10?5 M). A solid-state sensor based on screen-printed electrode modified by TOALS IL has been proposed. The electrode has been used for the determination of 4-nitrophenol in the concentration range 1 × 10?2?C1 × 10?5 M, the operational stability of the electrode is 10 days.  相似文献

The electrochemical response of a modified-carbon nanotubes paste electrode with p-aminophenol was investigated as an electrochemical sensor for sulfite determination. The electrochemical behaviour of sulfite was studied at the surface of the modified electrode in aqueous media using cyclic voltammetry and square wave voltammetry. It has been found that under the optimum condition (pH 7.0) in cyclic voltammetry, the oxidation of sulfite occurs at a potential about 680?mV less positive than that of an unmodified-carbon nanotubes paste electrode. Under the optimized conditions, the electrocatalytic peak current showed linear relationship with sulfite concentration in the range of 2.0?×?10?7–2.8?×?10?4?mol?L?1 with a detection limit of 9.0?×?10?8?mol?L?1 sulfite. The relative standard deviations for ten successive assays of 1.0 and 50.0?µmol?L?1 sulfite were 2.5% and 2.1%, respectively. Finally, the modified electrode was examined as a selective, simple and precise new electrochemical sensor for the determination of sulfite in water and wastewater samples.  相似文献

A dichromate‐selective PVC‐membrane electrode based on Quinaldine Red (an acridinium derivative) is described. The electrode exhibits rapid (< 30 s) and linear response to the activity of Cr(VI) anions in the range of 5.2 × 10?6 ?1.0 × 10?1 M dichromate with the limit of detection 2.5 × 10?6 Mof Cr2O72?. The sensor is used as an indicator electrode in potentiometric determination of Cr(VI) anions and is also suitable for end‐point indication in the titrations of proper metal ions with dichromate under laboratory conditions. The proposed electrode has been applied to the direct potentiometric determination of Cr(VI) anions in water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A new electrode was developed by one-step potentiostatic electrodeposition (at ?2.0 V for 20 s) of Au/SiO2 nanoparticles on a glassy carbon electrode. The resulting electrode (nano-Au/SiO2/GCE) was characterized by scanning electronic microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and electrochemical techniques. The electrochemical behavior of dihydronicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) at the nano-Au/SiO2/GCE were thoroughly investigated. Compared to the unmodified electrode, the overpotential decreased by about 300 mV, and the current response significantly increased. These changes indicated that the modified electrode showed excellent catalytic activity in the oxidation of NADH. A linear relationship was obtained in the NADH concentration range from 1.0?×?10?6 to 1.0?×?10?4 mol?L?1. In addition, amperometric sensing of ethanol at the nano-Au/SiO2/GCE in combination with alcohol dehydrogenase and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide was successfully demonstrated. A wide linear response was also found for ethanol in the range from 5.0?×?10?5 to 1.0?×?10?3 mol?L?1 and 1.0?×?10?3 to 1.0?×?10?2 mol?L?1, respectively. Two new iron(III) compounds, (Hamp)[Fe(pydc)2]?·?2H2O (1) and (Hacr)[Fe(pydc)2]?·?2H2O (2) (pydc2??=?pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid, amp?=?2-aminopyrimidine, acr?=?acridine), have been hydrothermally synthesized. Both compounds were characterized by spectroscopic methods (IR, UV/Vis), and their molecular and crystal structures were determined by X-ray crystal structure analysis and their thermal stability by thermogravimetric analysis/differential thermal analysis (TGA/DTA) methods. Compound 1 consists of Hamp+ cation and [Fe(pydc)2]? anion and 2 consists of Hacr+ cation and [Fe(pydc)2]? anion. Crystallographic characterization revealed an octahedron as a coordination polyhedron for the complex anion in 1 and 2 and the same O,N,O′-chelated coordination mode of pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate. The crystal structures of 1 and 2 are stabilized by a complicated network of hydrogen bonds between the crystallization water molecules, counter ion, and carboxylates of pydc2?. Thermogravimetric (TG) analyses of the two compounds were carried out to examine their thermal stabilities. Cyclic voltammetric response of bare glassy carbon electrode surface in 0.10?mol?L?1 phosphate buffer containing 1 and 2 at different pH values indicated that they have the same voltammograms at all pH values and the electrochemical behavior of 1 and 2 has not been affected by different ion pairs. The formal potential of the solutions of 1 and 2 at the glassy carbon electrode surface was also pH-dependent with a slope of ?57.0?mV/pH unit at 25°C. This shows that the number of electrons and protons involved in the electrode process is equal.  相似文献

A modified carbon paste electrode was prepared by incorporating the TiO2 nanoparticles in the carbon paste matrix. The electrochemical behavior of gallic acid (GA) is investigated on the surface of the electrode using cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry. The surface morphology of the prepared electrode was characterized using the scanning electron microscopy. The results indicate that the electrochemical response of GA is improved significantly at the modified electrode compared with the unmodified electrode. Furthermore, the capabilities of electron transfer on these two electrodes were also investigated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Under the optimized condition, a linear dynamic range of 2.5?×?10?6 to 1.5?×?10?4?mol?L?1 with detection limit of 9.4?×?10?7?mol?L?1 for GA is obtained in buffered solutions with pH 1.7. Abstract

A metalloporphyrin incorporated carbon paste sensor has been developed for the determination of metronidazole benzoate (MTZB). Zn(II) complex of 5,10,15,20-tetrakis (3-methoxy-4-hydroxy phenyl) porphyrin (TMHPP) was used as the active material. The MTZB gave a well-defined reduction peak at?0.713 V in 0.1 mol l?1 phosphate buffer solution of pH around 7. Compared with bare carbon paste electrode (CPE), the TMHPP Zn(II) modified electrode significantly enhanced the reduction peak current of MTZB as well as lowered its reduction potential. Under optimum conditions the reduction peak current was proportional to MTZB concentration over the range 1 × 10?3 mol l?1 to 1 × 10?5 mol l?1. The detection limit was found to be 4.36 × 10?6 mol l?1. This sensor has been successfully applied for the determination of MTZB in pharmaceutical formulations and urine samples.  相似文献

A nano-composite consisting of amine functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes and a room temperature ionic liquid (1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate) was prepared and used for modification of glassy carbon electrode. By immobilizing choline oxidase (ChOx) on the modified electrode, the enzyme direct electron transfer has been achieved. The modified electrode exhibited a pair of well-defined cyclic voltammetric peaks at a formal potential of ?0.395?V versus Ag/AgCl in 0.2?M phosphate buffer solution at pH 7.0. This peak was characteristic of ChOx-FAD/FADH2 redox couple. The electrochemical parameters such as charge transfer coefficient (??) and apparent heterogeneous electron transfer rate constant (k s) were estimated to be 0.36 and 2.74?s?1, respectively. When the enzyme electrode was examined for the detection of choline, a relatively high sensitivity (2.59???A?mM?1) was obtained. Under the optimized experimental conditions, choline was detected in the concentration range from 6.9?×?10?3 to 6.7?×?10?1?mM with a detection limit of 2.7???M. The peak currents of ChOx were reasonably stable and retained 90% of its initial current after a period of 2?months.  相似文献
