Summary Complexes of the type M(4-ADI)nX2 · mH2O (where 4-ADI = 4-amino-3,5-dimethylisoxazole; n = 1–4; X = Cl, Br, I, SCN, ClO4; m = 1–4) have been studied by i.r. and electronic spectroscopy, magnetic and conductivity measurements. The ligand behaves as a monodentate -NH2 bonded species in monomeric complexes, but as a bridging ligand-NH2 and -N(ring) bonded species in polymeric complexes. All the compounds have an octahedral stereochemistry, except Co(4-ADI)2X2 (X = Cl, Br, I) complexes, which are tetrahedral.  相似文献

A series of polymeric cobalt(II), nickel(II), zinc(II) and cadmium(II) azido complexes with hydrazine of the type [M(N2H4)(H2O)(N3)Cl]n, [M(N2H4)(N3)2]n and [M(N2H4)2(N3)2]n have been prepared. These were characterized by elemental analyses, magnetic susceptibility measurements, electronic and IR spectra. The complexes are highly insoluble in polar and non polar solvents. All the complexes decompose with explosion at different temperatures between 100°C to 200°C. The magnetic moment and electronic spectral data for Co(II) and Ni(II) complexes suggest that the complexes have octahedral structure. The ligand-field parameters (10 Dq, B, β, β° and LFSE) have also been calculated for all Co(II) and Ni(II) complexes which indicate a significant covalent character of M-L bonds. The IR spectra of the complexes show that the azide group and hydrazine molecule both act as bidentate bridging ligands in [M(N2H4)(H2O)(N3)Cl]n and [M(N2H4)(N3)2]n type complexes but the azide group is terminally bonded to metal in all [M(N2H4)2(N3)2]n type complexes.  相似文献

Summary We have synthesized and characterized halocuprate(II) complexes with isoxazolium and imidazolium derivatives. The compounds are of three types: a) Cu(LH)X3 · n H2O where L=isoxazole (isox), 3,5-diMeisox, or 5-amino-3,4-diMeisox (5-ADI); X=Cl or Br; n=1–2; b) (LH)2CuCl4 where L=5-ADI, N-ethylimidazole (N-EtIm) or N-PropIm; c) (3-AMIH)2Cu2X6 where 3-AMI=3-amino-5-methylisox; X= Cl or Br.Complexes (a) seem to be zwitterions with an oxygenbonded ligand and approximately tetrahedral structure; compounds (b) are distorted tetrahedral, nearly square planar; derivatives (c) are polymeric or dimeric with near square planar geometry.  相似文献

Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Cd(II) chelates with 1-aminoethylidenediphosphonic acid (AEDP, H4L1), α-amino benzylidene diphosphonic acid (ABDP, H4L2), 1-amino-2-carboxyethane-1,1-diphosphonic acid (ACEDP, H5L3), 1,3-diaminopropane-1,1,3,3-tetraphosphonicacid (DAPTP, H8L4), ethylenediamine-N,N′-bis(dimethylmethylene phosphonic)acid (EDBDMPO, H4L5), O-phenylenediamine-N,N′-bis(dimethyl methylene phosphonic)acid (PDBDMPO, H4L6), diethylene triamine-N,N,N′,N′,NN″-penta(methylene phosphonic)acid (DETAPMPO, H10L7) and diethylene triamine-N,N″-bis(dimethyl methylene phosphonic)acid (DETBDMPO, H4L8) have been synthesised and were characterised by elemental and thermal analyses as well as by IR, UV–VIS, EPR and magnetic measurements. The first stage in the thermal decomposition process of these complexes shows the presence of water of hydration, the second denotes the removal of the coordinated water molecules. After the loss of water molecules, the organic part starts decomposing. The final decomposition product has been found to be the respective MO·P2O5. The data of the investigated complexes suggest octahedral geometry with respect to Co(II) and Ni(II) and tetragonally distorted octahedral geometry with respect to Cu(II). Antiferromagnetism has been inferred from magnetic moment data. Infrared spectral studies have been carried out to determine coordination sites.  相似文献

The synthesis of a new Schiff base containing 1,10-phenanthroline-2,9-dicarboxaldehyde and 2-mercaptoethylamine is described. The reaction of 1,10-phenanthroline-2,9-dicarboxaldehyde with 2-mercaptoethylamine leads to 2,9-bis(2-ethanthiazolinyl)-1,10-phenanthroline (I) which undergoes rearrangement when reacted with manganese, nickel, copper or zinc ions to produce complexes of the tautomeric Schiff base 2,9-bis[2-(2-mercaptoethyl)-2-azaethene]-1,10-phenanthroline (L). The [M(L)Cl2] complexes [where M = Mn(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) ions] were characterized by physical and spectroscopic measurements which indicated that the ligand is a tetradentate N4 chelating agent.  相似文献

The first heterodinuclear ruthenium(II) complexes of the 1,6,7,12‐tetraazaperylene (tape) bridging ligand with iron(II), cobalt(II), and nickel(II) were synthesized and characterized. The metal coordination sphere in this complexes is filled by the tetradentate N,N′‐dimethyl‐2,11‐diaza[3.3](2,6)‐pyridinophane (L‐N4Me2) ligand, yielding complexes of the general formula [(L‐N4Me2)Ru(µ‐tape)M(L‐N4Me2)](ClO4)2(PF6)2 with M = Fe {[ 2 ](ClO4)2(PF6)2}, Co {[ 3 ](ClO4)2(PF6)2}, and Ni {[ 4 ](ClO4)2(PF6)2}. Furthermore, the heterodinuclear tape ruthenium(II) complexes with palladium(II)‐ and platinum(II)‐dichloride [(bpy)2Ru(μ‐tape)PdCl2](PF6)2 {[ 5 ](PF6)2} and [(dmbpy)2Ru(μ‐tape)PtCl2](PF6)2 {[ 6 ](PF6)2}, respectively were also prepared. The molecular structures of the complex cations [ 2 ]4+ and [ 4 ]4+ were discussed on the basis of the X‐ray structures of [ 2 ](ClO4)4 · MeCN and [ 4 ](ClO4)4 · MeCN. The electrochemical behavior and the UV/Vis absorption spectra of the heterodinuclear tape ruthenium(II) complexes were explored and compared with the data of the analogous mono‐ and homodinuclear ruthenium(II) complexes of the tape bridging ligand.  相似文献

Summary Copper(II), nickel(II) and cobalt(II) perchlorate complexes of 5,5-dimethylcyclohexane-1,2,3-trione-2-(p-nitrophenyl-hydrazone) (HL1), 5,5-dimethyl-cyclohexane-1,2,3-trione-2-(p-chlorophenylhydrazone) (HL2), 5,5-dimethylcyclohexane-1,2,3-trione-2-(o-chlorophenylhydrazone) (HL4), 5,5-dimethylcyclohexane-1,2,3-trione-2-(o-methylphenyl-hydrazone) (HL5) and 5,5-dimethylcyclohexane-1,2,3-trione-2-(m-methylphenylhydrazone) (HL6) have been prepared, and characterized using analytical, spectral and magnetic measurements. The data reveal that the reaction of Cu(ClO4)2 (1 mol) in EtOH, with all ligands, produces complexes of the type CuL(ClO4)(H2O).nH2O. Nickel(II) and cobalt(II) perchlorates react only with HL1 and HL2 to produce the complexes ML(ClO4)(H2O)3 (where M = NiII, L = L and L2, M = CoII, L = L1) and Co(HL2)2-(ClO4)2.2H2O. The spectral data show that the ligands behave as monobasic bidentate in their azo forms, except HL2 which reacts with cobalt(II) as a neutral bidentate ligand in its hydrazone form.  相似文献

Six new Cu(II), Ni(II) and Co(II) macroacyclic Schiff base complexes [MII(H2L)](ClO4)2 (L = L1 and L2) (I–VI) were prepared by the reaction of two new N2O4 Schiff base ligands in equemolar ratios. The ligands H2L1 and H2L2 were synthesized by reaction of 2-[2-(2-formyl phenoxy)ethoxy]benzaldehyde (A1) and/or 2-[2-(3-formylphenoxy)propoxy]benzaldehyde (A2) and ethanol amine and characterized with IR and 1H, 13C NMR spectroscopy. All complexes were characterized by microanalysis, IR and mass spectrometry, whereas complex I was also characterized by single crystal X-ray (CIF file CCDC no. 1020055). The X-ray structure of complex I revealed that all nitrogen and oxygen atoms of ligand (N2O4) have coordinated to the metal ion. However, Cu2+ ion is in six coordination environment that can bedescribed as a distorted octahedral geometry.  相似文献

The reaction of [RuCl2(PPh3)3] with 1-(2-pyridylcarbonyl)benzotriazole has been examined. A new ruthenium(II) complex–[RuCl(PPh3)2(C6H5N3)(C5H4NCO2)] has been obtained and characterized by IR and UV–Vis measurements. The crystal structure of the complex has been determined. The electronic spectrum of the complex has been calculated by TDDFT method.  相似文献

Three new binuclear Ni(II) complexes [{Ni(L22py)Cl}2](ClO4)2 (1), [{Ni(L23py)Cl}2](ClO4)2 (2), and [{Ni(L33py)Cl}2](ClO4)2 (3), {L22py = N-(2-pyridylmethyl)-N-(2-aminoethyl)-1,2-diaminoethane, L23py = N-(2-pyridylmethyl)-N-(2-aminoethyl)-1,3-diaminopropane, L33py = N-(2-pyridylmethyl)-N-(3-aminopropyl)-1,3-diaminopropane} have been synthesized. Single crystal X-ray structure analysis showed that in each complex two distorted octahedral Ni(II) ions are bridged asymmetrically by a pair of chloride anions. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements of 1 and 3 revealed dominant ferromagnetic exchange interactions.  相似文献

N-(2-Hydroxybenzyl)aminopyridines (Li) react with Cu(II) and Pd(II) ions to form complexes in the compositions Cu(Li)2(CH3COO)2 · nH2O (n = 0, 2, 4), Pd(Li)2Cl2 · nC2H5OH (n = 0, 2) and Pd(L2)2Cl2 · 2H2O. In the complexes, the ligands are neutral and monodentate which coordinate through pyridinic nitrogen. Crystal data of the complexes obtained from 2-amino pyridine derivative have pointed such a coordinating route and comparison of the spectral data suggests the validity of similar complexation modes of other analog ligands. Cu(II) complex of N-(2-hydroxybenzyl)-2-aminopyridine (L1), [Cu(L1)2(CH3COO)2] has slightly distorted square planar cis-mononuclear structure which is built by two oxygen atoms of two monodentate carboxylic groups disposed in cis-position and two nitrogen atoms of two pyridine rings. The remaining two oxygen atoms of two carboxylic groups form two Cu and H bridges containing cycles which joint at same four coordinated copper(II) ion. IR and electronic spectral data and the magnetic moments as well as the thermogravimetric analyses also specify on mononuclear octahedric structure of complexes [Cu(L2)2(CH3COO)2 · 2H2O] and [Cu(L3)2(CH3COO)2 · 4H2O] where L2 and L3 are N-(2-hydroxybenzyl)-2- or 3-aminopyridines, respectively.  相似文献

For the complexes (CH8N4)2[CuCl6], (C2H9N5)2[CuCl6] · 2H2O, and (CH8N4O)4[CuCl6]Cl4, where (CH8N4)2+, (C2H9N5)2+, and (CH8N4O)2+ are the aminoguanidinium, biguanidium, and carbohydrazidium cations, respectively, IR and Raman spectra were taken and analyzed in the region of Cu—Cl vibrations. Polarization measurements of the Raman spectra of (CH8N4O)4[CuCl6]Cl4 single crystals were performed with the purpose of assigning the vibrations to symmetry types. Vibration spectra were calculated for the hexachlorocuprate ion in the given series of compounds, and the spectra of the examined complexes were compared with spectra of the previously known compounds incorporating the hexachlorocuprate(II) ion.  相似文献

Summary The chlorides and bromides of cobalt(II), nickel(II) and copper(II) along with the acetates of the latter two metal ions and copper(II) tetrafluoroborate were used to prepare complexes ofN-2-(5-picolyl)-N-phenylthiourea (5MTUH). 5MTUH coordinates as a bidentate ligand via the pyridyl nitrogen and the sulphur atoms in the cobalt(II) complexes and the compounds isolated with Cu(BF4)2 and CuCl2. Complexes of stoichiometry [Cu(5MTU)X] (X=Br or C2H3O2) appear to have the deprotonated ligand coordinated via the pyridyl andN thioamide nitrogens and the sulphur atom. The nickel(II) complexes involve monodentate 5MTUH with sulphur being the donor atom. A violet, octahedral [Co(5MTUH)2Cl2] complex and a blue, tetrahedral [Co(5MTUH)Cl2] complex have been isolated, but with CoBr2 only an octahedral complex could be prepared.  相似文献

N-(R-carbamothioyl)cyclohexanecarboxamides (R: diethyl, di-n-propyl, di-n-butyl, diphenyl and morpholine-4) and their Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, FT-IR and NMR methods. N-(diethylcarbamothioyl)cyclohexanecarboxamide, HL1, C12H22N2OS, crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group P212121, with Z = 4, and unit cell parameters, a = 6.6925(13) Å, b = 9.0457(18) Å, c = 22.728(5) Å. The conformation of the HL1 molecule with respect to the thiocarbonyl and carbonyl moieties is twisted, as reflected by the torsion angles O1–C6–N2–C5, C6–N2–C5–N1 and S1–C5–N2–C6 of 1.68°, ?67.47° and 115.50°, respectively. The structure of HL1 also shows a delocalization of the π electrons of the thiocarbonyl group over the C–N bonds. The ring puckering analysis shows that the cyclohexane ring has a chair conformation. The bis(N-(morpholine-4-carbonothioyl)cyclohexane carboxamido)nickel(II) complex, Ni(L5)2, C24H38N4NiO4S2, crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c, with Z = 4, and unit cell parameters, a = 16.919(3) Å, b = 8.3659(17) Å, c = 19.654(4) Å, β = 107.43(3)°. Ni(L5)2 is a cis-complex with a slightly distorted square-planar coordination of the central nickel by two oxygen and two sulfur atoms.  相似文献

Three new vic-dioximes, [L1H2], N-(4-ethylphenyl)amino-1-acetyl-1-cyclohexenylglyoxime, [L2H2], N-(4-butylphenyl)amino-1-acetyl-1-cyclohexenylglyoxime, and [L3H2], N-(4-methoxyphenyl)amino-1-acetyl-1-cyclohexenylglyoxime were synthesized from 1-acetyl-1-cyclohexeneglyoxime and the corresponding substituted aromatic amines. Metal complexes of these ligands were also synthesized with Ni(II), Cu(II), and Co(II) salts. These new compounds (ligands and complexes) were characterized with FT–IR, magnetic susceptibility measurement, molar conductivity measurements, mass spectrometry measurements, thermal methods (e.g. thermal gravimetric analysis), 1H NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) and 13C NMR spectral data and elemental analyses.  相似文献

Three new potentially hexadentate N4O2 Schiff-base ligands (H2L1, H2L2 and H2L3) were prepared from the reaction of the polyamines N,N′-bis(2-aminophenyl)-1,2-ethanediamine (L1), N,N′-bis(2-aminophenyl)-1,3-propanediamine (L2) and N,N′-bis(2-aminophenyl)-1,4-butanediamine (L3), respectively with salicylaldehyde. Reaction of the Schiff bases with Ni(II) salts in the presence of N(Et)3 gave the neutral complexes [NiL4], [NiL5] and [NiL6]. Ni(II) complexes of the polyamines were also prepared. One of complexes [Ni(L1)(MeCN)2](ClO4)2·MeCN has been characterized through X-ray diffraction methods.  相似文献

Two new Schiff base-hydrazones bearing furan ring, (Z)-4-butoxy-N′-(furan-2-ylmethylene)benzohydrazide (IV) and (Z)-N′-(furan-2-ylmethylene)-4-(hexyloxy)benzohydrazide (V), as well as their Cu(II), Ni(II), and Zn(II) complexes have been synthesised and characterised. The DNA-binding and DNA-cleavage activities of both aroylhydrazone ligands and their transition metal complexes were examined using UV-VIS titration and agarose gel electrophoresis in the presence of an oxidative agent (H2O2). The results indicate that the copper complexes bind significantly to calf thymus DNA and effectively cleave pBR322 DNA whereas the nickel and zinc complexes interact slightly with DNA.  相似文献

Five coordination compounds Zn(mbmpbi)2Cl2 (1), Zn(mbmpbi)2Br2 (2), Cd(mbmpbi)2Cl2 (3), Hg(mbmpbi)2Cl2 (4) and Hg(mbmpbi)2Br2 (5) were synthesized by the reaction of 1-(p-methoxybenzyl)-2-(p-methoxyphenyl)benzimidazole (mbmpbi) with the corresponding metal halides. The complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, conductance measurements, FT-IR, 1H NMR and photoluminescence spectral studies. The ligand mbmpbi exhibits the N-benzimidazole coordination. The structures of 3-5 have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. These three complexes are isostructural, crystallizing in the monoclinic system, P2/n space group with a distorted tetrahedral geometry around the metal ion. Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes show strong blue emission in solid state at room temperature.  相似文献

The crystal structures of the well-known complexes, [(Me4en)M(II)X2] (Me4en?=?N,N,N??,N??-tetramethylethylenediamine; M(II)?=?Pd(II) or Pt(II); X ??=?NO2 ? or NO3 ?) have been determined. For [(Me4en)Pd(NO2)2] and [(Me4en)Pt(NO2)2], the nitrite anion acts as a monodentate N-donor ligand in the solid state. In contrast, for [(Me4en)Pd(ONO2)(O2NO)], the two nitrate anions act as a monodentate O-donor (ONO2) and a bidentate O,O??-donor (O2NO). Recrystallization of [(Me4en)Pt(NO3)2] from Me2SO yields the Me2SO adduct with a monodentate O-donor nitrate and a counteranionic nitrate, [(Me4en)Pt(ONO2)(S-Me2SO)](NO3). The solution behavior of these complexes, including the equilibrium between coordinated and free Me2SO, has been investigated.  相似文献

Three Cd(II) or Co(II) macroacyclic Schiff-base complexes [CoL1Br]ClO4 (1), [CdL2Cl]ClO4 (2) and [CdL3(NO3)]ClO4 (3) were prepared by template condensation of 2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde and three different amines containing piperazine moiety, N,N′-bis(2-aminoethyl)piperazine, N,N′(2-aminoethyl)(3-aminopropyl)piperazine and N,N′-bis(3-aminopropyl)piperazine, in the presence of Co(II) or Cd(II) metal ions, respectively. All complexes have been studied with IR, FAB mass and microanalysis and for complex (3) by 1H and 13C NMR spectra. One of these complexes, [CdL3(NO3)]ClO4 (3) has been characterized through X-ray crystallography. In complex (3), the Cd(II) ion is coordinated by the six nitrogen donor atoms from the ligand and by one oxygen atom from a monodentate nitrate ion in a N6O environment.  相似文献
