This paper is concerned with a class of essentially strongly order-preserving semiflows, which are defined on an ordered metric space and are generalizations of strongly order-preserving semiflows. For essentially strongly order-preserving semiflows, we prove several principles, which are analogues of the nonordering principle for limit sets, the limit set dichtomy and the sequential limit set trichotomy for strongly order-preserving semiflows. Then, under certain compactness hypotheses, we obtain some results on convergence, quasiconvergence and stability in essentially strongly order-preserving semiflows. Finally, some applications are made to quasimonotone systems of delay differential equations and reaction-diffusion equations with delay, and the main advantages of our results over the classical ones are that we do not require the delicate choice of state space and the technical ignition assumption.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a class of pseudo monotone semiflows, which only enjoy some weak monotonicity properties and are defined on product-ordered topological spaces. Under certain conditions, several convergence principles are established for each precompact orbit of such a class of semiflows to tend to an equilibrium, which improve and extend some corresponding results already known. In this paper, we study the existence and exponential convergence of positive almost periodic solutions for the generalized Nicholson’s blowflies model with multiple time-varying delays. Under proper conditions, we establish some criteria to ensure that the solutions of this model converge locally exponentially to a positive almost periodic solution. In this paper we develop the necessary conditions of optimality for a class of distributed parameter systems (partial differential equations) determined by operator valued measures and controlled by vector measures. Based on some recent results on existence of optimal controls from the space of vector measures, we develop necessary conditions of optimality for a class of control problems. The main results are the necessary conditions of optimality for problems without state constraints and those with state constraints. Also, a conceptual algorithm along with a brief discussion of its convergence is presented.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the problem of global exponential stability for a class of impulsive neural networks with bounded and unbounded delays and fixed moments of impulsive effect. We provide operator-norm convergence estimates for solutions to a time-dependent equation of fractional elasticity in one spatial dimension, with rapidly oscillating coefficients that represent the material properties of a viscoelastic composite medium. Assuming periodicity in the coefficients, we prove operator-norm convergence estimates for an operator fibre decomposition obtained by applying to the original fractional elasticity problem the Fourier–Laplace transform in time and Gelfand transform in space. We obtain estimates on each fibre that are uniform in the quasimomentum of the decomposition and in the period of oscillations of the coefficients as well as quadratic with respect to the spectral variable. On the basis of these uniform estimates we derive operator-norm-type convergence estimates for the original fractional elasticity problem, for a class of sufficiently smooth densities of applied forces.  相似文献

We investigate various properties of time maps for one-dimensional prescribed mean curvature equations. Using these properties, we obtain some exact multiplicity results of positive solutions and sign-changing solutions. As it turned out, these quasilinear problems show many different phenomena from semilinear problems. Our methods are based on a detailed analysis of time maps.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider an initial value problem for a class of generalized ODEs, also known as Kurzweil equations, and we prove the existence of a local semidynamical system there. Under certain perturbation conditions, we also show that this class of generalized ODEs admits a discontinuous semiflow which we shall refer to as an impulsive semidynamical system. As a consequence, we obtain LaSalle's invariance principle for such a class of generalized ODEs. Due to the importance of LaSalle's invariance principle in studying stability of differential systems, we include an application to autonomous ordinary differential systems with impulse action at variable times.  相似文献

For a germ of analytic vector fields, the existence of first integrals, resonance and the convergence of normalization transforming the vector field to a normal form are closely related. In this paper we first provide a link between the number of first integrals and the resonant relations for a quasi-periodic vector field, which generalizes one of the Poincaré's classical results [H. Poincaré, Sur l'intégration des équations différentielles du premier order et du premier degré I and II, Rend. Circ. Mat. Palermo 5 (1891) 161-191; 11 (1897) 193-239] on autonomous systems and Theorem 5 of [Weigu Li, J. Llibre, Xiang Zhang, Local first integrals of differential systems and diffeomorphism, Z. Angew. Math. Phys. 54 (2003) 235-255] on periodic systems. Then in the space of analytic autonomous systems in C2n with exactly n resonances and n functionally independent first integrals, our results are related to the convergence and generic divergence of the normalizations. Lastly for a planar Hamiltonian system it is well known that the system has an isochronous center if and only if it can be linearizable in a neighborhood of the center. Using the Euler-Lagrange equation we provide a new approach to its proof.  相似文献

As a main step in the numerical solution of control problems in continuous time, the controlled process is approximated by sequences of controlled Markov chains, thus discretising time and space. A new feature in this context is to allow for delay in the dynamics. The existence of an optimal strategy with respect to the cost functional can be guaranteed in the class of relaxed controls. Weak convergence of the approximating extended Markov chains to the original process together with convergence of the associated optimal strategies is established.  相似文献

This work investigates the existence of monotonic traveling wave and standing wave solutions of RTD-based cellular neural networks in the one-dimensional integer lattice . For nonzero wave speed c, applying the monotone iteration method with the aid of real roots of the corresponding characteristic function of the profile equation, we can partition the parameter space (γ,δ)-plane into four regions such that all the admissible monotonic traveling wave solutions connecting two neighboring equilibria can be classified completely. For the case of c=0, a discrete version of the monotone iteration scheme is established for proving the existence of monotonic standing wave solutions. Furthermore, if γ or δ is zero then the profile equation for the standing waves can be viewed as an one-dimensional iteration map and we then prove the multiplicity results of monotonic standing waves by using the techniques of dynamical systems for maps. Some numerical results of the monotone iteration scheme for traveling wave solutions are also presented.  相似文献
