The quadrupole moment for the πg 9/2⊗νh 11/2 band in the 130>Pr nucleus has been measured using the Doppler-shift attenuation method. A centroid shift analysis was carried out and a value of Q0=6.1±0.4 eb, corresponding to an axial prolate deformation of β2=0.35(3), has been determined. This is the first direct experimental confirmation of the deformation-driving character of the πg 9/2 orbital in an odd-odd nucleus in the A≃135 superdeformed region. A new high-spin isomer in 145Sm was observed by in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy with the reaction 122Sn(27Al,3np) at 127 MeV performed at the Nordball multi-detector array in Roskilde. The excitation energy of the isomer was determined to be E x= 11147 keV, and using the generalized centroid-shift method its half-life was found to be T 1/2= (7.4 ± 1.0) ns. The half-lives of the platinum isotopes 189,191,197Pt and of the 4-day isomer in 195mPt have been measured with high precision using the photoactivation technique. The γ-ray activity was counted over several half-lives with a high-purity germanium detector. The measured half-lives are: T1/2(189Pt) = 12.1 ± 1.5 h; T1/2(191Pt) = 2.862 ± 0.007 d; T1/2(197Pt) = 19.96 ± 0.05 h; T1/2(195mPt) = 4.0104 ± 0.0047 d. Received: 13 September 1999  相似文献

High-spin states in 117I have been studied via the 103Rh(18O, 4n) reaction at a beam energy of 85 MeV. Many deformed rotational bands built on the proton h11/2, g7/2, and g9/2 orbitals have been identified. Among them, an unfavoured rotational band and a quasi-gamma band based on the h11/2 state have been newly observed. Moreover, positive-parity states above Iπ= 35/2+ reported in the previous work have been rearranged. Several energetically favoured states have been assigned to noncollective oblate states based on various quasiparticle configurations with β2≈ 0.18–0.19 and γ= 60°. Received: 1 March 1999  相似文献

High-spin states of 117Xe were investigated by means of in-beam γ-ray spectroscopic techniques via the reaction of 28Si bombarding a 92Mo target at beam energies of 100-120 MeV. A positive-parity rotational band decaying into the yrast negative-parity band by a series of enhanced E1 transitions was observed for the first time, implying the existence of octupole correlations in 117Xe. The B(E1) values increase with spin. The νd5/2 band was firmly established up to 27/2+ and the B(M1)/B(E2) ratios were extracted from the relative intensities of γ-rays in this band. The previously known νh11/2 and νg7/2 [413]5/2+α=−1/2 bands were confirmed and extended up to high spins and two bandcrossings are observed in the latter at ħω=0.33 and 0.44 MeV, respectively. The bandcrossings and configurations of these bands are discussed by TRS and CSM calculations. In a γ–γ–t measurement, the 11/2 and 7/2 levels were identified as two isomers with half-lives of 59.4±20 ns and 16.5±8.0 ns, respectively. New neutron-deficient isotopes 188,189Po have been produced in the complete fusion reaction of 52Cr ions with a 142Nd target at the velocity filter SHIP. The evaporation residues were separated in-flight and subsequently identified on the basis of α-γ and α-conversion electron coincidence measurements and of α-α position and time correlations. In 189Po a ground state to ground state α decay with Eα1= 7540(20) keV, T1/2= 5(1) ms and two fine structure α-decays at Eα2= 7264(15) keV and Eα3= 7316(15) keV have been observed. In 188Po (T1/2= 400+200 −150μs) a ground state to ground state α decay at Eα= 7915(25) keV and a fine structure α decay at Eα= 7350(40) keV have been found. Improved data on the α-decay of 189Bi were obtained. Received: 15 October 1999  相似文献

The α-decay energy and halflife of 195mAt were determined to be 6960±20 keV and 385+69 −51 ms respectively, on the basis of genetic correlations in the 169Tm(36Ar, α6n)195At reaction, while those of 195gAt measured simultaneously were 7105±30 keV and 146+21 −17 ms respectively, reconfirming the previously reported values. A new isotope 199Fr was also produced and identified in the same way in the 169Tm(36Ar, 6n)199Fr reaction, yielding Eα= 7655±40 keV and T1/2= 12+10 −4 ms. Received: 26 March 1999  相似文献

The light cone QCD sum rules are derived for the K * Kπ coupling g K * Kπ and the ρππ coupling g ρππ. The contribution from the excited states and the continuum is subtracted cleanly through the double Borel transform with respect to the two external momenta, p 1 2, p 2 2= (pq)2. Our result g K * Kπ= (8.7 ± 0.5) and g ρππ= (11.5 ± 0.8) is in good agreement with the experimental value. Received: 31 July 1998 / Revised version: 20 November 1998  相似文献

The time differential as well as time integral perturbed angular correlations of the 486-134 keV cascade in 131Cs have been studied in a polycrystalline BaSO4 powder source using a HPGe-BaF2 detector system. The fundamental quadrupole frequency for the 134 keV level has been found to be ω0= (4.4 ± 0.4) × 107 rad/s. From a comparison of the quadrupole frequencies of this level and that of the 81 keV level in 133Cs, measured earlier in the same crystalline environment of the source, the absolute value of the quadrupole moment of the 134 keV level in 131Cs has been found to be 0.022 ± 0.002 b. This value of the quadrupole moment is reported for the first time and compared with the value predicted theoretically within the unified nuclear model with intermediate coupling. Lifetimes of excited states in 110Cd have been measured by the Doppler shift attenuation method in the reaction (α,2nγ) at E α= 25 MeV. Lifetime values for 8 states and lifetime limits for 3 states were obtained. The band structures of 110Cd have been interpreted in terms of a modified version of the interacting boson model (IBM + 2 q.p.). The calculations explain well the excitation energies and electromagnetic transition probabilities up to J π= 16+, except for the 10+ 1 state. The structural features are discussed in terms of collective and two quasiparticle excitations. Received: 20 March 1999 / Revised version: 28 May 1999  相似文献

High-spin states of 160Lu have been studied through the 144Sm( 19F, 3n) reaction. The previously known πh 11/2⊗υi 13/2 yrast band is extended from I π = 21- to 25- and a four quasiparticle band with configuration πh 11/2[523]7/2 -⊗υh 9/2[521]3/2 -⊗ (υi 13/2)2 is reported. The results of in-beam investigations of excited states of 99Ru using the 98Mo(α,3n) reaction are presented. Angular distributions of γ–rays and γ–γ coincidences have been measured. Excited states have been identified up to an energy of E = 5603 keV and spin of Iπ= 31/2. Mean lifetimes τ have been determined using the DSA method for eleven levels. Aligned angular momenta are discussed and the probable (νh 11/2) origin of a backbending at frequency about 0.5 MeV was confirmed. The possible role of (νd 5/2) alignment at frequencies above 0.5 MeV was pointed out. Received: 13 January 1999 / Revised version: 26 March 1999  相似文献

An investigation of low-lying energy levels of 130Pr and 130Ce has been made via β-decay. The radioactive parent nuclei were produced via 94,96Mo + 40Ca reactions at 6.8 MeV/nucleon and transported by a He-jet system. Gamma-γ-t, γ-X-t, γ-e--t coincidence measurements were performed. Internal conversion coefficients have been measured with a magnetic spectrometer. The new β-decay half-life of 130Nd has been determined to be 21(3) s. A partial level scheme of 130Pr at low-spin has been constructed. The β-decay of 130Pr to 130Ce suggests the existence of three β-instable isomeric states in 130Pr, while only one half-life T 1/2 = 40(4) s has been measured. Based on the present work and low-lying excited states in neighbouring odd-mass nuclei, the spins and parities of isomeric states in 130Pr are proposed to be 2+, (4,5)+ and (7,8±). The ground state in 130Pr is still undetermined. Received: 20 August 2001 / Accepted: 6 November 2001  相似文献

The in-beam spectroscopy on N = 91 isotones has been carried out using the 12C + 150Nd reaction. The νi 13/2 and νh 11/2 bands of 153Sm have been extended up to 33/2+ and 31/2-, respectively. Two new γ-rays have been located on the top of the unfavored band with νi 13/2 configuration in 157Dy. Two identical relationships have been established in the low-spin region of the yrast νi 13/2 configuration between 153Sm and 155Gd, and between unfavored bands of 155Gd and 157Dy. Here all these nuclei have the same neutron number N = 91. Received: 28 June 2000 / Accepted: 20 October 2000  相似文献

Production yields and β-decay half-lives (T 1/2) of very neutron-rich indium isotopes were determined at CERN/ISOLDE using isobaric selectivity of a resonance-ionization laser ion-source. Beta-delayed neutron (βdn) multiscaling measurements have yielded improved T 1/2 for 206(6) ms 132In, 165(3) ms 133In and 141(5) ms 134In. With 92(10) ms 135In, a new r-process nuclide has been identified which acts as an important “waiting point” in the In isotopic chain for neutron densities in the range n n≃ 1024-1026 n/cm3, where the r-matter flow has already passed the A≃ 130 abundance peak region. High spins states in 99Rh were populated via the 66Zn(37Cl, 2p2n)99Rh reaction at an incident beam energy of 130 MeV. Seventeen new transitions have been observed in the present study and the level scheme has now been extended up to a spin of J∼ 25ħ and an excitation energy of about E x∼ 10 MeV. The observation of a positive parity E2 cascade based on the 9/2+ isomeric level is suggestive of collective behaviour in this nucleus up to high spins. Spherical shell model (within restricted model space) and Cranked shell model calculations were performed to obtain an insight into the observed level structure. The new collective band observed up to a spin of J∼ 25ħ is suggested to be based on (πg 9/2 3) ⊗ (νg 7/2 2) quasi-particle excitations. An in-beam experiment with the reaction 122Sn(27Al,4np) at 127 MeV was performed at the Nordball multi-detector array in Roskilde. It provided evidence for a new high-spin isomer in 144Sm. This isomer with T 1/2= (2.6 ± 0.5) ns at an excitation energy E x= 9232 keV seems to belong to a family of isomers of similar configuration in neighbouring N= 82 nuclei. High spin states of 126La have been populated using the reaction 116Sn+14N at 68 MeV. γ-rays and conversion electrons were detected with the GAREL array. Multipolarities of the lowest-lying in-band dipole transitions have been determined from the deduced internal conversion coefficients. Experimental B(M1)/B(E2) ratios have been derived for the bands and compared with calculated values using the D?nau-Frauendorf geometrical model. Configurations are proposed for the bands comparing them with cranked shell model calculations and on the basis of the measured B(M1)/B(E2) ratios. The β-decay of 126La has also been revisited. The population of the 126Ba levels gives a probable spin value of five for the decaying high-spin 126La state with T 1/2≈ 64 s which may indicate a signature inversion in the πh11/2νh11/2 band. A recoil distance method was used to measure half-lives of the excited states of 145Sm. The reaction used was 139La(10B, 4n)145Sm. A plunger system was used. Half-lives were determined for two excited states for the first time. The yrast 27/2+ state was found to have a half-life of 1.1 ± 0.2 ns corresponding to the retardation of 3.1 × 10−4 comparing with the single particle estimate of M1. The excitation energy of this state was well reproduced by the shell model calculation having a mixed configuration of [π{h11/2(g7/2)−2 (d5/2)−1}10−, νf7/2] + [π{h11/2(g7/2)−1}9−,νh9/2]. Another retarded E1 transition was also found in a decay of a 21/2+ state. Its retardation was 1.6 × 10−4 comparing with the single particle value. In this work we have identified and studied the decay of two new microsecond isomers 19/2- and 23/2+ in 131Sb. This neutron-rich nucleus was produced by thermal neutron-induced fission of 241Pu. The detection is based on time correlation between fission fragments selected by the LOHENGRIN spectrometer at ILL (Grenoble) and the γ-rays or conversion electrons from isomers. These new data on high-spin states complete the level scheme previously obtained from β-decay. A large fraction of the members of the πg 7/2ν(h 11/2 -1 d 3/2 -1) and πg 7/2νh 11/2 -2 multiplets are now known and were compared with a multi-particle shell model calculation.
