A series of sulfonate-tagged 1,4-diazabutadiene (DAD(S)) ligands was prepared as salts with typical ionic liquid (IL) cations ([EMIM](+), [BMIM](+), [BMMIM](+), Bu(4)N(+), Bu(3)PMe(+), [Gua-4,4-4,4-4,1](+)). Complexation behaviour of the ligands was investigated by preparing complexes of the types [BMMIM](2)[MCl(2)(DAD(S))] (M = Pd, Pt), [BMMIM][Rh(COD)(DAD(S))] and [BMMIM](2)[Mo(CO)(4)(DAD(S))]. Using UV-Vis spectroscopy, the latter sulfonate-tagged chromophore was shown to be well soluble in the sulfonate IL [BMIM]OTf and completely insoluble in toluene, resulting in perfect immobilization. The crystal structures of [HNEt(3)](2)[2,6-Me(2)-Me-DAD(S)], [BMIM](2)[2,6-Me(2)-Me-DAD(S)], [BMMIM](2)[2,4,6-Me(3)-Me-DAD(S)], [BMMIM](2)[2,6-iPr(2)-Me-DAD(S)] and [HNEt(3)](2)[PdCl(2)(2,6-Me(2)-Me-DAD(S))] were determined. Regarding the diimine fragment, they show geometries similar to the respective non-sulfonated parent compounds.  相似文献

Some synthetic and structural systematics for monocarbaboranes, using the C-phenylated motif as the example, are investigated. The 10-vertex [6-Ph-nido-6-CB(9)H(11)](-) anion 1, from reaction of PhCHO with B(10)H(14) in KOH/H(2)O, is a useful entry synthon into C-phenyl monocarbaborane chemistry. Treatment of anion 1 with Na/thf yields the 10-vertex [1-Ph-closo-1-CB(9)H(9)](-) anion 2a, whereas treatment of anion 1 with iodine in alkaline solution yields the isomeric 10-vertex [2-Ph-closo-2-CB(9)H(9)](-) anion 2b, which isomerises quantitatively to 2a on heating under reflux in DME. Thermolysis of anion 1 yields the 9-vertex [4-Ph-closo-4-CB(8)H(8)](-) anion 5, whereas treatment of anion 1 with FeCl(3)/HCl gives neutral 9-vertex [4-Ph-arachno-4-CB(8)H(13)] 3. Compound 3 gives neutral 9-vertex [1-Ph-nido-1-CB(8)H(11)] 4 in refluxing toluene, and gives the 7-vertex [2-Ph-closo-2-CB(6)H(6)](-) anion 7 and the 8-vertex [1-Ph-closo-1-CB(7)H(7)](-) anion 6 in refluxing toluene with NEt(3). Reaction of 1 with [BH(3)(thf)] yields the 11-vertex [7-Ph-nido-7-CB(10)H(12)](-) anion 8 which can be converted to the 12-vertex [1-Ph-closo-1-CB(11)H(11)](-) anion 10 using [BH(3)(SMe(2))]; alternatively, anion 1 yields anion 10 directly on treatment with [BH(3)(NEt(3))]. Treatment of anion 8 with I(2)/KOH yields the 11-vertex [2-Ph-closo-2-CB(10)H(10)](-) anion 9. The structures of anions 1, 2a, 2b, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 have been established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses of their [NEt(4)](+) salts, and those of neutral 3 and 4 estimated by DFT calculations at the B3LYP/6-31G* level; similar calculations have also been applied to the new anionic closo species 2a, 2b, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10. Crystals of the [NEt(4)](+) salt of the [2-Ph-closo-2-CB(6)H(6)](-) anion 7 required synchrotron X-radiation for sufficient diffraction intensity for molecular-structure elucidation. The syntheses are in principle generally applicable to give extensive derivative C-aryl and C-alkyl chemistries.  相似文献

Treatment of a solution of excess PCl(3) and PS (PS = "proton sponge" = 1,8-dimethylamino naphthalene) with arachno-4-CB(8)H(14) (1) in CH(2)Cl(2), followed by hydrolysis of the reaction mixture, resulted in the isolation of the eleven-vertex diphosphacarbaborane nido-7,8,9-P(2)CB(8)H(10) (2) (yield 34%) as the main product. Other products isolated from this reaction were the phosphacarboranes nido-7,8,9,10-P(3)CB(7)H(8) (3) (yield 5%) and closo-2,1-PCB(8)H(9) (4) (yield 15%). Compound 2 can be deprotonated by PS in CH(2)Cl(2) or NaH in diethyl ether to give the [nido-7,8,9-P(2)CB(8)H(9)](-) (2(-)()) anion, which gives back the original compound, 2, upon re-protonation. Thermal rearrangement of anion 2(-) (Na(+) salt) at 350 degrees C for 2 h produced the isomeric [nido-7,8,10-P(2)CB(8)H(9)](-) (5(-)()) anion, which was isolated as a PPh(4)(+) salt (yield 86%). Multinuclear ((1)H, (11)B, (31)P, and (13)C), two-dimensional [(11)B-(11)B] COSY, (1)H{(11)B(selective)}, (1)H{(31)P(selective)}, and gradient-enhanced ([(1)H-(13)C] HSQC) magnetic resonance measurements led to complete assignments of all resonances which are in excellent agreement with the structures proposed. Coupling constants, (1)J((31)P,(13)C), (2)J((31)P,C,(1)H), and (1)J((31)P,(31)P), were calculated using the DFT method B3LYP/6-311+G(d,p). The molecular geometries of all compounds were optimized ab initio at a correlated level of theory (RMP2(fc)) using the 6-31G basis set, and their correctness was assessed by comparison of the experimental (11)B and (13)C chemical shifts with those calculated by the GIAO-SCF/II//RMP2(fc)/6-31G method. The computations also include the structures and chemical shieldings of the still unknown isomers [nido-7,10,8-P(2)CB(8)H(9)](-) (6(-)) and [nido-7,9,8-P(2)CB(8)H(9)](-) (7(-)).  相似文献

IRMOF-1 supported ionic liquid (IL) membranes are investigated for CO(2) capture by atomistic simulation. The ILs consist of identical cation 1-n-butyl-3-methylimidazolium [BMIM](+), but four different anions, namely hexafluorophosphate [PF(6)](-), tetrafluoroborate [BF(4)](-), bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide [Tf(2)N](-), and thiocyanate [SCN](-). As compared with the cation, the anion has a stronger interaction with IRMOF-1 and a more ordered structure in IRMOF-1. The small anions [PF(6)](-), [BF(4)](-), and [SCN](-) prefer to locate near to the metal-cluster, particularly the quasi-spherical [PF(6)](-) and [BF(4)](-). In contrast, the bulky and chain-like [BMIM](+) and [Tf(2)N](-) reside near the phenyl ring. Among the four anions, [Tf(2)N](-) has the weakest interaction with IRMOF-1 and thus the strongest interaction with [BMIM](+). With increasing the weight ratio of IL to IRMOF-1 (W(IL/IRMOF-1)), the selectivity of CO(2)/N(2) at infinite dilution is enhanced. At a given W(IL/IRMOF-1), the selectivity increases as [Tf(2)N](-) < [PF(6)](-) < [BF(4)](-) < [SCN](-). This hierarchy is predicted by the COSMO-RS method, and largely follows the order of binding energy between CO(2) and anion estimated by ab initio calculation. In the [BMIM][SCN]/IRMOF-1 membrane with W(IL/IRMOF-1) = 1, [SCN](-) is identified to be the most favorable site for CO(2) adsorption. [BMIM][SCN]/IRMOF-1 outperforms polymer membranes and polymer-supported ILs in CO(2) permeability, and its performance surpasses Robeson's upper bound. This simulation study reveals that the anion has strong effects on the microscopic properties of ILs and suggests that MOF-supported ILs are potentially intriguing for CO(2) capture.  相似文献

A new borohydride, [CH(3)NH(3)](+)[BH(4)](-), has been synthesized through the metathesis of CH(3)NH(3)F and NaBH(4) in methylamine. Room-temperature X-ray diffraction studies have shown that [CH(3)NH(3)](+)[BH(4)](-) adopts a tetragonal unit cell with considerable hydrogen mobility similar to that observed in NH(3)BH(3). The kinetics and thermodynamics of hydrogen release have been investigated and were found to follow a similar pathway to that of [NH(4)](+)[BH(4)](-). Decomposition of [CH(3)NH(3)](+)[BH(4)](-) occurred slowly at room temperature and rapidly at ca. 40 °C to form [BH(2)(CH(3)NH(2))(2)](+)[BH(4)](-), the methylated analogue of the diammoniate of diborane. The decomposition has been investigated by means of in situ X-ray diffraction and solid state (11)B NMR spectroscopy and occurred in the absence of any detectable intermediates to form crystalline [BH(2)(CH(3)NH(2))(2)](+)[BH(4)](-). [(CH(3))(2)NH(2)](+)[BH(4)](-) and [BH(2){(CH(3))(2)NH}(2)](+)[BH(4)](-) have also been synthesized through analogous routes, indicating a more general applicability of the synthetic method.  相似文献

B(10)H(14) reacts with para-C(6)H(4)(CHO)(COOH) in aqueous KOH solution to give the [nido-6-CB(9)H(11)-6-(C(6)H(4)-para-COOH)](-) anion 1, which undergoes cage closure with iodine in alkaline solution to give the [closo-2-CB(9)H(9)-2-(C(6)H(4)-para-COOH)](-) anion 2. Upon heating, anion 2 rearranges to form the [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-(C(6)H(4)-para-COOH)](-) anion 3. Similarly, B(10)H(14) with glyoxylic acid OHCCOOH in aqueous KOH gives the [arachno-6-CB(9)H(13)-6-(COOH)](-) anion 4, which undergoes cage closure with iodine in alkaline solution to give the [closo-2-CB(9)H(9)-2-(COOH)](-) anion 5. Upon heating, anion 5 rearranges to give the [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-(COOH)](-) anion 6. Reduction of the [COOH] anions 3 and 6 with diisobutylaluminium hydride gives the [CH(2)OH] hydroxy anions [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-(C(6)H(4)-para-CH(2)OH)](-) and [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-(CH(2)OH)](-) 8 respectively. The [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-(C(6)H(4)-para-CH(2)OH)](-) anion 7 can also be made via isomerisation of the [closo-2-CB(9)H(9)-2-(C(6)H(4)-para-CH(2)OH)](-) anion 9, in turn obtained from the [nido-6-CB(9)H(11)-6-(C(6)H(4)-para-CH(2)OH)](-) anion 10, which is obtained from the reaction of B(10)H(14) with terephthaldicarboxaldehyde, C(6)H(4)-para-(CHO)(2), in aqueous KOH solution. Oxidation of the hydroxy anions 7 and 8 with pyridinium dichromate gives the aldehydic [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-(C(6)H(4)-para-CHO)](-) anion 11 and the aldehydic [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-(CHO)](-) anion 12 respectively, characterised as their 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazone derivatives, the [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-C(6)H(4)-para-CH=N-NHC(6)H(3)(NO(2))(2)](-) anion 13 and the [closo-1-CB(9)H(9)-1-CH=N-NHC(6)H(3)(NO(2))(2)](-) anion respectively.  相似文献

Hydrolysis products of organotin compounds RC(6)H(4)OCH(2)COOSn(CH(2)ph)(3) (R = o-NO(2), 1; m-NO(2), 2; p-NO(2), 3; o-CH(3), 4; o-OCH(3), 5; o-Cl, 6; o-Br, 7) and RC(6)H(3)OCH(2)COOSn(CH(2)ph)(3) (R = o,o-2CH(3), 8, o-OCH(3), p-CHO, 9; o,p-2Cl, 10), produced in aqueous acetonitrile solution, have been investigated by electrospray mass spectrometry (MS) and MS(n) techniques. The complexes [Y(2)SnXR'](-), [Y(3)SnXR'](-), [Y(3)SnX(2)R'](-), [Y(2)SnX(3)R'](-), and fragment ions of [Y(3)SnR'](-), plus abundant RC(6)H(4)(or RC(6)H(3))OCH(2)COO(-) and RC(6)H(4)(or RC(6)H(3))O(-) ions are observed in negative mode, whereas the protonated molecular ion [M + H](+), complexes [Y(2)SnXR'](+), [Y(3)SnXR'](+), [Y(2)SnX(2)R'](+), [Y(3)SnX(2)R'](+), [Y(2)SnX(3)R'](+), [Y(3)SnX(3)R'](+), as well as [YSnXR'](+), [M - CH(2)ph](+), XSn(+), (phCH(2))(3)Sn(+), phCH(2)Sn(+) (Y = &bond;CH(2)ph, X = &bond;OOCCH(2)OC(6)H(4)R(or C(6)H(3)R)) are detected in the positive mode. Water adduct ions are seen in both modes. The assignments are facilitated by agreement between observed and calculated isotopic patterns and tandem mass spectrometry studies.  相似文献

By interaction of MoX(3)(THF)(3) with [Cat]X in THF, the salts [Cat][MoX(4)(THF)(2)] have been synthesized [X = I, Cat = PPh(4), NBu(4), NPr(4), (Ph(3)P)(2)N; X = Br, Cat = NBu(4), PPh(4) (Ph(3)P)(2)N]. Mixed-halide species [MoX(3)Y(THF)(2)](-) (X, Y = Cl, Br, I) have also been generated in solution and investigated by (1)H-NMR. When the tetraiodo, tetrabromo, and mixed bromoiodo salts are dissolved in CH(2)Cl(2), clean loss of all coordinated THF is observed by (1)H-NMR. On the other hand, [MoCl(4)(THF)(2)](-) loses only 1.5 THF/Mo. The salts [Cat](3)[Mo(3)X(12)] (X = Br, I) have been isolated from [Cat][MoX(4)(THF)(2)] or by running the reaction between MoX(3)(THF)(3) and [Cat]X directly in CH(2)Cl(2). The crystal structure of [PPh(4)](3)[Mo(3)I(12)] exhibits a linear face-sharing trioctahedron for the trianion: triclinic, space group P&onemacr;; a = 11.385(2), b = 12.697(3), c = 16.849(2) ?; alpha = 76.65(2), beta = 71.967(12), gamma = 84.56(2) degrees; Z = 1; 431 parameters and 3957 data with I > 2sigma(I). The metal-metal distance is 3.258(2) ?. Structural and magnetic data are consistent with the presence of a metal-metal sigma bond order of (1)/(2) and with the remaining 7 electrons being located in 7 substantially nonbonding orbitals. The ground state of the molecule is predicted to be subject to a Jahn-Teller distortion, which is experimentally apparent from the nature of the thermal ellipsoid of the central Mo atom. The [Mo(3)X(12)](3)(-) ions reacts with phosphines (PMe(3), dppe) to form products of lower nuclearity by rupture of the bridging Mo-X bonds.  相似文献

Na[BH(pz)(3)] and Na[AuCl(4)].2H(2)O react in water (1:1) to give [Au[kappa(2)-N,N'-BH(pz)(3)]Cl(2)] (1) or, in the presence of NaClO(4) (2:1:1), the cationic complex [Au[kappa(2)-N,N'-BH(pz)(3)](2)]ClO(4) (2). The reactions of Na[B(pz)(4)] with the cyclometalated gold complexes [AuRCl(2)] and NaClO(4) (1:1:1) produce [Au[kappa(2)-N,N'-B(pz)(4)](R)]ClO(4) [R = kappa(2)-C,N-C(6)H(4)CH(2)NMe(2)-2 (3)] or [Au[kappa(2)-N,N'-B(pz)(4)](R)Cl] [R = C(6)H(3)(N=NC(6)H(4)Me-4')-2-Me-5 (4)], respectively, although 4 is better obtained in the absence of NaClO(4). The crystal structures of 1 and 3.CHCl(3) are reported. Both complexes display the gold center in square planar environments, two coordination sites being occupied by the chelating poly(pyrazolyl)borate ligands.  相似文献

Febrifugine is an alkaloid with potent antimalarial activity isolated from Dichroa febrifuga and Hydrangea umbellate, and it exists naturally with its diastereomeric component, isofebrifugine. Here we report the differentiation of diastereomeric synthetic precursors of isofebrifugine (1, cis) and febrifugine (2, trans) and a structurally similar model diastereomeric pair without a halogen substituent (3 and 4) by electrospray ionization (ESI) tandem mass spectrometry. Compounds 1-4 contain a tert-butoxycarbonyl (BOC) substituent, and the collision-induced dissociation (CID) spectra of the [M+H](+), [M+Na](+) and [M+Li](+) ions of 1-4 include the expected product ions corresponding to the loss of C(4)H(8) (isobutene) and of C(5)H(8)O(2) (BOC-H). Loss of C(5)H(8)O(2) is dominant in cis isomers (1 and 3) and/or loss of C(4)H(8) ions is dominant in trans isomers (2 and 4). The decomposition of [M+H](+) ions shows stereoselectivity in the formation of the [M+H-(BOC-H)-C(3)H(5)OBr](+) and [M+H-(BOC-H)-C(6)H(5)CH(2)OH](+) ions. The [M+Cat](+) ions (where Cat = Na or Li) additionally show loss of NaBr and HBr from [M+Cat-(BOC-H)](+), and these product ions are constantly more abundant in cis isomers than in trans isomers. The stereoselectivity for the product ion corresponding to the loss of [(BOC-H)+C(3)H(5)OBr] from [M+H](+) ions differs from that from [M+Cat](+) ions.  相似文献

Ionic liquids form neutral ion pairs (CA) upon evaporation. The softness of the gas-phase ionization of field ionization has been used to generate "molecular ions," CA(+*), of ionic liquids, most probably by neutralization of the anion. In detail, 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium-thiocyanate, [C(6)H(11)N(2)](+) [SCN](-), 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium-tricyanomethide, [C(8)H(15)N(2)](+) [C(4)N(3)](-), N-butyl-3-methylpyridinium-dicyanamide, [C(10)H(16)N](+) [C(2)N(3)](-), and 1-butyl-1-methylpyrrolidinium-bis[(trifluormethyl)sulfonyl]amide, [C(9)H(20)N](+) [C(2)F(6)NO(4)S(2)](-) were used. The assignment as CA(+*) ions, which has been confirmed by accurate mass measurements and misassignments due to thermal decomposition of the ionic liquids, has been ruled out by field desorption and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry of the residues.  相似文献

The crystal structures of [Co 2L(Cl)](ClO 4) 3 ( 1), [Co 2L(Br)](ClO 4) 3 ( 2), [Co 2L(OH)(OH 2)]I 3 ( 3), and [Co 2L (1)(Cl)](ClO 4) 3 ( 4), the density functional theory calculations, as well as the binding constants of [Co 2L] (4+) toward Cl (-) and Br (-) and of [Co 2L (1)] (4+) toward Cl (-), are reported in this paper (L = N[(CH 2) 2NHCH 2(C 6H 4- p)CH 2NH(CH 2) 2] 3N, L (1) = N[(CH 2) 2NHCH 2(C 6H 4- m)CH 2NH(CH 2) 2] 3N). The rigid dicobalt(II) cryptate [Co 2L] (4+) shows the recognition of Cl (-) and Br (-) but not of F (-) and I (-), because of the size matching to its rigid cavity. We also found that the relative rigid tripodal skeleton of L than that of L (1) results in the higher affinity of [Co 2L] (4+) toward Cl (-). Magnetic susceptibility measurements of 1 and 2 indicate that the two Co(II) atoms in the cryptates are antiferromagnetically coupled through the Cl (-)/Br (-) bridge, with g = 2.19, J = -13.7 cm (-1) for 1, and g = 2.22, J = -17.1 cm (-1) for 2.  相似文献

A series of cationic, neutral, and anionic allylgallium complexes has been isolated and fully characterized. It includes neutral [Ga(η(1)-C(3)H(5))(3)(L)] (1, L = THF; 2, L = OPPh(3)), cationic [Ga(η(1)-C(3)H(5))(2)(THF)(2)](+)[A](-) (3, [A](-) = [B(C(6)F(5))(4)](-); 4, [A](-) = [B(C(6)H(3)Cl(2))(4)](-)), as well as anionic [Cat](+)[Ga(η(1)-C(3)H(5))(4)](-) (5, [Cat](+) = K(+); 6, [Cat](+) = [K(dibenzo-18-c-6](+); 7, [Cat](+) = [PPh(4)](+)). Binding modes of the allyl ligand in solution and in the solid state have been studied comparatively. Single crystal X-ray analyses revealed a four-coordinate neutral gallium center in 2, a five-coordinate cationic gallium center in 4 and [4·THF], and a four-coordinate anionic gallium center with a bridging μ(2)-η(1):η(2) coordination mode of the allyl ligand in 6. The reactivity of this series of allylgallium complexes toward benzophenone and N-heteroaromatics has been investigated. Counterion effects have also been studied. Reactions of 1 and 5 with isoquinoline revealed the first examples of organogallium complexes reacting under 1,2-insertion with pyridine derivatives.  相似文献

The reaction of the lithiated phosphine-borane adducts Li[PPhR.BH(3)] or Li[CH(2)-PR(2).BH(3)] with Me(2)NH.BH(2)Cl afforded the hybrid linear species Me(2)NH-BH(2)-PPhR-BH(3) (1, R = Ph; 2, R = H) or Me(2)NH-BH(2)-CH(2)-PR(2)-BH(3) (3, R = Ph; 4, R = Me). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies on 1 and 3, the first for linear hybrid aminoborane/phosphinoborane adducts, confirmed the expected four-coordinate N-B-P-B and N-B-C-P-B frameworks. In addition, interactions between the protic N-H and hydridic B-H hydrogen atoms resulted in short intermolecular H...H contacts for 1, whereas 3 was found to possess an exceptionally short intramolecular H...H distance of 1.95 A. Solution and solid state infrared studies on 3 and 4 also suggest that these dihydrogen interactions were maintained even in dilute solution. Hydrogen bond strengths in the range of 7.9 to 10.9 kJ mol(-1) indicate the presence of a relatively weak interaction. The thermal and catalytic dehydrocoupling reactivities of 1-4 were also investigated. Chain cleavage reactions were observed for 1 and 2 upon thermolysis at 130 degrees C to afford species such as Me(2)NH.BH(3), [Me(2)N-BH(2)](2), PhPRH.BH(3) (R = Ph, H), PhPRH (R = Ph, H), Ph(2)PH-BH(2)-PPh(2)-BH(3), and also the low molecular weight polyphosphinoborane [PhPH-BH(2)](n) (M(w) approximately 5000). Similar products were observed for the attempted catalytic dehydrocoupling reactions but under milder reaction conditions (50 degrees C). Thermolysis of 3 at 130 degrees C yielded the six-membered ring [BH(2)-CH(2)-PPh(2)](2) (5), which presumably results from the dissociation of Me(2)NH.BH(3) from 3. Thermolysis of 4 at 90 degrees C afforded Me(2)NH.BH(3) and Me(3)P.BH(3), in addition to a product tentatively assigned as [BH(2)-CH(2)-PMe(2)](2) (6).  相似文献

The solubility of H(2)S in a series of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium ([bmim](+)) based ionic liquids (ILs) with different anions, chloride, tetrafluoroborate ([BF(4)](-)), hexafluorophosphate ([PF(6)](-)), triflate ([TfO](-)), and bis(trifluoromethyl)sulfonylimide ([Tf(2)N]-), and in a series of [Tf(2)N] ILs with different cations, i.e., N-alkyl-N'-methylimidazolium, 2-methyl-N-methyl-N'-alkyimidazolium, N-alkylpyridinium, N-butyl-N-methylpyrrolidinium, and N-alkyl-N,N-dimethyl-N-(2-hydroxyethyl)ammonium has been determined using medium-pressure NMR spectroscopy. The observed solubilities are significantly higher than those reported for many other gases in ILs, suggesting the occurrence of specific interactions between H2S and the examined ILs. Quantum chemical calculations have been used to investigate at a molecular level the interaction between H2S and the [bmim](+)-based ILs.  相似文献

The redox-active fac-[Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-) (mp: o-mercaptophenolato) bearing asymmetric O- and S-cation binding sites can bind with several kinds of metal ions such as Na(+), Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(I). The fac-[Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-) metalloligand coordinates to Na(+) to form the contact ion pair {Na(+)(THF)(3)[fac-Mo(V)(mp)(3)]} (1), while a separated ion pair, n-Bu(4)N[fac-Mo(V)(mp)(3)] (2), is obtained by exchanging Na(+) with n-Bu(4)N(+). In the presence of asymmetric binding-sites, the metalloligand reacts with Mn(II)Cl(2)·4H(2)O, Fe(II)Cl(2)·4H(2)O, Co(II)Cl(2)·6H(2)O, and Ni(II)Cl(2)·6H(2)O to afford UV-vis-NIR spectra, indicating binding of these guest metal cations. Especially, for the cases of the Mn(II) and Co(II) products, trinuclear complexes, {M(H(2)O)(MeOH)[fac-Mo(V)(mp)(3)](2)}·1.5CH(2)Cl(2) (3·1.5CH(2)Cl(2) (M = Mn(II)), 4·1.5CH(2)Cl(2) (M = Co(II))), are successfully isolated and structurally characterized where the M are selectively bound to the hard O-binding sites of the fac-[Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-). On the other hand, a coordination polymer, {Cu(I)(CH(3)CN)[mer-Mo(V)(mp)(3)]}(n) (5), is obtained by the reaction of fac-[Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-) with [Cu(I)(CH(3)CN)(4)]ClO(4). In sharp contrast to the cases of 1, 3·1.5CH(2)Cl(2), and 4·1.5CH(2)Cl(2), the Cu(I) in 5 are selectively bound to the soft S-binding sites, where each Cu(I) is shared by two [Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-) with bidentate or monodentate coordination modes. The second notable feature of 5 is found in the geometric change of the [Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-), where the original fac-form of 1 is isomerized to the mer-[Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-) in 5, which was structurally and spectroscopically characterized for the first time. Such isomerization demonstrates the structural flexibility of the [Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-). Spectroscopic studies strongly indicate that the association/dissociation between the guest metal ions and metalloligand can be modulated by solvent polarity. Furthermore, it was also found that such association/dissociation features are significantly influenced by coexisting anions such as ClO(4)(-) or B(C(6)F(5))(4)(-). This suggests that coordination bonds between the guest metal ions and metalloligand are not too static, but are sufficiently moderate to be responsive to external environments. Moreover, electrochemical data of 1 and 3·1.5CH(2)Cl(2) demonstrated that guest metal ion binding led to enhance electron-accepting properties of the metalloligand. Our results illustrate the use of a redox-active chalcogenolato complex with a simple mononuclear structure as a multifunctional metalloligand that is responsive to chemical and electrochemical stimuli.  相似文献

A series of aqua-Cr(III)-dioxolene complexes, [Cr(OH(2))(3,5-Bu(2)SQ)(trpy)](ClO(4))(2) (1s), [Cr(OH(2))(3,5-Bu(2)Cat)(trpy)]ClO(4) (1c), [Cr(OH(2))(3,6-Bu(2)SQ)(trpy)](ClO(4))(2) (2), [Cr(OH(2))(Cat)(trpy)]ClO(4) (3), [Cr(OH(2))(Cl(4)Cat)(trpy)]ClO(4) (4), [Cr(OH(2))(3,5-Bu(2)SQ)(Me(3)-tacn)](ClO(4))(2) (5), [Cr(OH(2))(Cat)(Me(3)-tacn)]ClO(4) (6), and [Cr(OH(2))(Cl(4)Cat)(Me(3)-tacn)]ClO(4) (7) (Bu(2)SQ = di-tert-butyl-o-benzosemiquinonate anion, Bu(2)Cat = di-tert-butylcatecholate dianion, Cat = catecholate dianion, Cl(4)Cat = tetrachlorocatecholate dianion, trpy = 2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine, and Me(3)-tacn = 1,4,7-trimethyl-1,4,7-triazacyclononane), were prepared. On the basis of the crystal structures, redox behavior, and elemental analyses of these complexes, dioxolene in 1c, 3, 4, 6, and 7 coordinated to Cr(III) as the catechol form, and the ligand in 1s, 2, and 5 was linked to Cr(III) with the semiquinone form. All the aqua-Cr(III) complexes reversibly changed to the hydroxo-Cr(III) ones upon dissociation of the aqua proton, and the pK(a) value of the aqua-Cr(III) complexes increased in the order 6 > 3 approximately 1c > 7 > 5 approximately 4 > 1s. Hydroxo-Cr(III)-catechol complexes derived from 1c, 3, 4, 6, and 7 did not show any signs of dissociation of their hydroxy proton. On the other hand, hydroxo-Cr(III)-semiquinone complexes were reduced to hydroxo-Cr(III)-catechol in H(2)O/THF at pH 11 under illumination of visible light.  相似文献

Facile substitution reactions of the two water ligands in the hydrophilic tetradentate phosphine complex cis-[Fe{(HOCH2)P{CH2N(CH2P(CH2OH)2)CH2}2P(CH2OH)}(H2O)2](SO4) (abbreviated to [Fe(L1)(H2O)2](SO4), 1) take place upon addition of Cl-, NCS-, N3(-), CO3(2-) and CO to give [Fe(L1)X2] (2, X = Cl; 4, X = NCS; 5, X=N3), [Fe(L1)(kappa2-O(2)CO)], 6 and [Fe(L1)(CO)2](SO4), 7. The unsymmetrical mono-substituted intermediates [Fe(L1)(H2O)(CO)](SO(4)) and [Fe(L(1))(CO)(kappa(1)-OSO(3))] (8/9) have been identified spectroscopically en-route to 7. Treatment of 1 with acetic anhydride affords the acylated derivative [Fe{(AcOCH2)P{CH2N(CH2P(CH2OAc)2)CH2}2P(CH2OAc)}(kappa2-O(2)SO2)] (abbreviated to [Fe(L2)(kappa2-O(2)SO2)], 10), which has increased solubility over 1 in both organic solvents and water. Treatment of 1 with glycine does not lead to functionalisation of L1, but substitution of the aqua ligands occurs to form [Fe(L(1))(NH(2)CH(2)CO(2)-kappa(2)N,O)](HSO(4)), 11. Compound 10 reacts with chloride to form [Fe(L(2))Cl(2)] 12, and 12 reacts with CO in the presence of NaBPh4 to form [Fe(L2)Cl(CO)](BPh4) 13b. Both of the chlorides in 12 are substituted on reaction with NCS- and N3(-) to form [Fe(L2)(NCS)2] 14 and [Fe(L2)(N3)2] 15, respectively. Complexes 2.H2O, 4.2H2O, 5.0.812H2O, 6.1.7H2O, 7.H2O, 10.1.3CH3C(O)CH3, 12 and 15.0.5H2O have all been crystallographically characterised.  相似文献

Cluster ions such as [Cat+X+nM](+) (n = 0-4); [Cat-H+nM](+) (n = 1-3); and [2(Cat-H)+X+nM](+) (n = 0-2), where Cat, X, and M are the dication, anion, and neutral salt (CatX(2)), respectively, are observed in electrospray ionization (ESI) mass spectrometry of relatively concentrated solutions of diquat and paraquat. Collision-induced dissociation (CID) reactions of the clusters were observed by tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS), including deprotonation to form [Cat-H](+), one-electron reduction of the dication to form Cat(+.), demethylation of the paraquat cation to form [Cat-CH(3)](+), and loss of neutral salt to produce smaller clusters. The difference in acidity and reduction power between diquat and paraquat, evaluated by thermodynamical estimates, can rationalize the different fractional yields of even-electron ([Cat-H](+) and its clusters) and odd-electron (mostly Cat(+)) ions in ESI mass spectra of these pesticides.
