Doubly and triply hydrogen‐bonded supramolecular synthons are of particular interest for the rational design of crystal and cocrystal structures in crystal engineering since they show a high robustness due to their high stability and good reliability. The compound 5‐methyl‐2‐thiouracil (2‐thiothymine) contains an ADA hydrogen‐bonding site (A = acceptor and D = donor) if the S atom is considered as an acceptor. We report herein the results of cocrystallization experiments with the coformers 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine, 2,4‐diamino‐6‐phenyl‐1,3,5‐triazine, 6‐amino‐3H‐isocytosine and melamine, which contain complementary DAD hydrogen‐bonding sites and, therefore, should be capable of forming a mixed ADADAD N—H…S/N—H…N/N—H…O synthon (denoted synthon 3sN·S;N·N;N·O), consisting of three different hydrogen bonds with 5‐methyl‐2‐thiouracil. The experiments yielded one cocrystal and five solvated cocrystals, namely 5‐methyl‐2‐thiouracil–2,4‐diaminopyrimidine (1/2), C5H6N2OS·2C4H6N4, (I), 5‐methyl‐2‐thiouracil–2,4‐diaminopyrimidine–N,N‐dimethylformamide (2/2/1), 2C5H6N2OS·2C4H6N4·C3H7NO, (II), 5‐methyl‐2‐thiouracil–2,4‐diamino‐6‐phenyl‐1,3,5‐triazine–N,N‐dimethylformamide (2/2/1), 2C5H6N2OS·2C9H9N5·C3H7NO, (III), 5‐methyl‐2‐thiouracil–6‐amino‐3H‐isocytosine–N,N‐dimethylformamide (2/2/1), (IV), 2C5H6N2OS·2C4H6N4O·C3H7NO, (IV), 5‐methyl‐2‐thiouracil–6‐amino‐3H‐isocytosine–N,N‐dimethylacetamide (2/2/1), 2C5H6N2OS·2C4H6N4O·C4H9NO, (V), and 5‐methyl‐2‐thiouracil–melamine (3/2), 3C5H6N2OS·2C3H6N6, (VI). Synthon 3sN·S;N·N;N·O was formed in three structures in which two‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonded networks are observed, while doubly hydrogen‐bonded interactions were formed instead in the remaining three cocrystals whereby three‐dimensional networks are preferred. As desired, the S atoms are involved in hydrogen‐bonding interactions in all six structures, thus illustrating the ability of sulfur to act as a hydrogen‐bond acceptor and, therefore, its value for application in crystal engineering.  相似文献

The results of seven cocrystallization experiments of the antithyroid drug 6‐methyl‐2‐thiouracil (MTU), C5H6N2OS, with 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine, 2,4,6‐triaminopyrimidine and 6‐amino‐3H‐isocytosine (viz. 2,6‐diamino‐3H‐pyrimidin‐4‐one) are reported. MTU features an ADA (A = acceptor and D = donor) hydrogen‐bonding site, while the three coformers show complementary DAD hydrogen‐bonding sites and therefore should be capable of forming an ADA/DAD N—H...O/N—H...N/N—H...S synthon with MTU. The experiments yielded one cocrystal and six cocrystal solvates, namely 6‐methyl‐2‐thiouracil–2,4‐diaminopyrimidine–1‐methylpyrrolidin‐2‐one (1/1/2), C5H6N2OS·C4H6N4·2C5H9NO, (I), 6‐methyl‐2‐thiouracil–2,4‐diaminopyrimidine (1/1), C5H6N2OS·C4H6N4, (II), 6‐methyl‐2‐thiouracil–2,4‐diaminopyrimidine–N,N‐dimethylacetamide (2/1/2), 2C5H6N2OS·C4H6N4·2C4H9NO, (III), 6‐methyl‐2‐thiouracil–2,4‐diaminopyrimidine–N,N‐dimethylformamide (2/1/2), C5H6N2OS·0.5C4H6N4·C3H7NO, (IV), 2,4,6‐triaminopyrimidinium 6‐methyl‐2‐thiouracilate–6‐methyl‐2‐thiouracil–N,N‐dimethylformamide (1/1/2), C4H8N5+·C5H5N2OS·C5H6N2OS·2C3H7NO, (V), 6‐methyl‐2‐thiouracil–6‐amino‐3H‐isocytosine–N,N‐dimethylformamide (1/1/1), C5H6N2OS·C4H6N4O·C3H7NO, (VI), and 6‐methyl‐2‐thiouracil–6‐amino‐3H‐isocytosine–dimethyl sulfoxide (1/1/1), C5H6N2OS·C4H6N4O·C2H6OS, (VII). Whereas in cocrystal (I) an R22(8) interaction similar to the Watson–Crick adenine/uracil base pair is formed and a two‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonding network is observed, the cocrystals (II)–(VII) contain the triply hydrogen‐bonded ADA/DAD N—H...O/N—H...N/N—H...S synthon and show a one‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonding network. Although 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine possesses only one DAD hydrogen‐bonding site, it is, due to orientational disorder, triply connected to two MTU molecules in (III) and (IV).  相似文献

A fixed hydrogen‐bonding motif with a high probability of occurring when appropriate functional groups are involved is described as a `supramolecular hydrogen‐bonding synthon'. The identification of these synthons may enable the prediction of accurate crystal structures. The rare chiral hydrogen‐bonding motif R53(10) was observed previously in a cocrystal of 2,4,6‐trichlorophenol, 2,4‐dichlorophenol and dicyclohexylamine. In the title solvated salt, 2C4H12N+·C6H3Cl2O·(C6H3Cl2O·C6H4Cl2O)·2C4H8O, five components, namely two tert‐butylammonium cations, one 2,4‐dichlorophenol molecule, one 2,4‐dichlorophenolate anion and one 2,6‐dichlorophenolate anion, are bound by N—H…O and O—H…O hydrogen bonds to form a hydrogen‐bonded ring, with the graph‐set motif R53(10), which is further associated with two pendant tetrahydrofuran molecules by N—H…O hydrogen bonds. The hydrogen‐bonded ring has internal symmetry, with a twofold axis running through the centre of the 2,6‐dichlorophenolate anion, and is isostructural with a previous and related structure formed from 2,4‐dichlorophenol, dicyclohexylamine and 2,4,6‐trichlorophenol. In the title crystal, helical columns are built by the alignment and twisting of the chiral hydrogen‐bonded rings, along and across the c axis, and successive pairs of rings are associated with each other through C—H…π interactions. Neighbouring helical columns are inversely related and, therefore, no chirality is sustained, in contrast to the previous case.  相似文献

Four crystal structures of 3‐cyano‐6‐hydroxy‐4‐methyl‐2‐pyridone (CMP), viz. the dimethyl sulfoxide monosolvate, C7H6N2O2·C2H6OS, (1), the N,N‐dimethylacetamide monosolvate, C7H6N2O2·C4H9NO, (2), a cocrystal with 2‐amino‐4‐dimethylamino‐6‐methylpyrimidine (as the salt 2‐amino‐4‐dimethylamino‐6‐methylpyrimidin‐1‐ium 5‐cyano‐4‐methyl‐6‐oxo‐1,6‐dihydropyridin‐2‐olate), C7H13N4+·C7H5N2O2, (3), and a cocrystal with N,N‐dimethylacetamide and 4,6‐diamino‐2‐dimethylamino‐1,3,5‐triazine [as the solvated salt 2,6‐diamino‐4‐dimethylamino‐1,3,5‐triazin‐1‐ium 5‐cyano‐4‐methyl‐6‐oxo‐1,6‐dihydropyridin‐2‐olate–N,N‐dimethylacetamide (1/1)], C5H11N6+·C7H5N2O2·C4H9NO, (4), are reported. Solvates (1) and (2) both contain the hydroxy group in a para position with respect to the cyano group of CMP, acting as a hydrogen‐bond donor and leading to rather similar packing motifs. In cocrystals (3) and (4), hydrolysis of the solvent molecules occurs and an in situ nucleophilic aromatic substitution of a Cl atom with a dimethylamino group has taken place. Within all four structures, an R22(8) N—H...O hydrogen‐bonding pattern is observed, connecting the CMP molecules, but the pattern differs depending on which O atom participates in the motif, either the ortho or para O atom with respect to the cyano group. Solvents and coformers are attached to these arrangements via single‐point O—H...O interactions in (1) and (2) or by additional R44(16) hydrogen‐bonding patterns in (3) and (4). Since the in situ nucleophilic aromatic substitution of the coformers occurs, the possible Watson–Crick C–G base‐pair‐like arrangement is inhibited, yet the cyano group of the CMP molecules participates in hydrogen bonds with their coformers, influencing the crystal packing to form chains.  相似文献

The derivatives of pyrimidin‐4‐one can adopt either a 1H‐ or a 3H‐tautomeric form, which affects the hydrogen‐bonding interactions in cocrystals with compounds containing complementary functional groups. In order to study their tautomeric preferences, we crystallized 2,6‐diaminopyrimidin‐4‐one and 2‐amino‐6‐methylpyrimidin‐4‐one. During various crystallization attempts, four structures of 2,6‐diaminopyrimidin‐4‐one were obtained, namely solvent‐free 2,6‐diaminopyrimidin‐4‐one, C4H6N4O, (I), 2,6‐diaminopyrimidin‐4‐one–dimethylformamide–water (3/4/1), C4H6N4O·1.33C3H7NO·0.33H2O, (Ia), 2,6‐diaminopyrimidin‐4‐one dimethylacetamide monosolvate, C4H6N4O·C4H9NO, (Ib), and 2,6‐diaminopyrimidin‐4‐one–N‐methylpyrrolidin‐2‐one (3/2), C4H6N4O·1.5C5H9NO, (Ic). The 2,6‐diaminopyrimidin‐4‐one molecules exist only as 3H‐tautomers. They form ribbons characterized by R22(8) hydrogen‐bonding interactions, which are further connected to form three‐dimensional networks. An intermolecular N—H...N interaction between amine groups is observed only in (I). This might be the reason for the pyramidalization of the amine group. Crystallization experiments on 2‐amino‐6‐methylpyrimidin‐4‐one yielded two isostructural pseudopolymorphs, namely 2‐amino‐6‐methylpyrimidin‐4(3H)‐one–2‐amino‐6‐methylpyrimidin‐4(1H)‐one–dimethylacetamide (1/1/1), C5H7N3O·C5H7N3O·C4H9NO, (IIa), and 2‐amino‐6‐methylpyrimidin‐4(3H)‐one–2‐amino‐6‐methylpyrimidin‐4(1H)‐one–N‐methylpyrrolidin‐2‐one (1/1/1), C5H7N3O·C5H7N3O·C5H9NO, (IIb). In both structures, a 1:1 mixture of 1H‐ and 3H‐tautomers is present, which are linked by three hydrogen bonds similar to a Watson–Crick C–G base pair.  相似文献

Two structures presenting an uncomplexed 2,6‐diaminopurine (dap) group are reported, namely 2,6‐diamino‐9H‐purine monohydrate, C5H6N6·H2O, (I), and bis(2,6‐diamino‐9H‐purin‐1‐ium) 2‐(2‐carboxylatophenyl)acetate heptahydrate, 2C5H7N6+·C9H6O42−·7H2O, (II). Both structures are rather featureless from a molecular point of view, but present instead an outstanding hydrogen‐bonding scheme. In compound (I), this is achieved through a rather simple independent unit content (one neutral dap and one water molecule) and takes the form of two‐dimensional layers tightly connected by strong hydrogen bonds, and interlinked by much weaker hydrogen bonds and π–π interactions. In compound (II), the fundamental building blocks are more complex, consisting of two independent 2,6‐diamino‐9H‐purin‐1‐ium (Hdap+) cations, one homophthalate [2‐(2‐carboxylatophenyl)acetate] dianion and seven solvent water molecules. The large number of hydrogen‐bond donors and acceptors produces 26 independent interactions, leading to an extended and complicated network of hydrogen bonds in a packing organization characterized by the stacking of interleaved anionic and cationic planar arrays. These structural characteristics are compared with those of similar compounds in the literature.  相似文献

The structures of orthorhombic (E)‐4‐(2‐{[amino(iminio)methyl]amino}vinyl)‐3,5‐dichlorophenolate dihydrate, C8H8Cl2N4O·2H2O, (I), triclinic (E)‐4‐(2‐{[amino(iminio)methyl]amino}vinyl)‐3,5‐dichlorophenolate methanol disolvate, C8H8Cl2N4O·2CH4O, (II), and orthorhombic (E)‐amino[(2,6‐dichloro‐4‐hydroxystyryl)amino]methaniminium acetate, C8H9Cl2N4O+·C2H3O2, (III), all crystallize with one formula unit in the asymmetric unit, with the molecule in an E configuration and the phenol H atom transferred to the guanidine N atom. Although the molecules of the title compounds form extended chains via hydrogen bonding in all three forms, owing to the presence of different solvent molecules, those chains are connected differently in the individual forms. In (II), the molecules are all coplanar, while in (I) and (III), adjacent molecules are tilted relative to one another to varying degrees. Also, because of the variation in hydrogen‐bond‐formation ability of the solvents, the hydrogen‐bonding arrangements vary in the three forms.  相似文献

Four 2,2′‐bisindolylmethanes (BIMs), a useful class of polyindolyl species joined to a central carbon, were synthesized using salicylaldehyde derivatives and simple acid catalysis; these are 2‐[bis(3‐methyl‐1H‐indol‐2‐yl)methyl]‐6‐methylphenol, (IIa), 2‐[bis(3‐methyl‐1H‐indol‐2‐yl)methyl]‐4,6‐dichlorophenol, (IIb), 2‐[bis(3‐methyl‐1H‐indol‐2‐yl)methyl]‐4‐nitrophenol, (IIc), and 2‐[bis(3‐methyl‐1H‐indol‐2‐yl)methyl]‐4,6‐di‐tert‐butylphenol, (IId). BIMs (IIa) and (IIb) were characterized crystallographically as the dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) disolvates, i.e. C26H24N2O·2C2H6OS and C25H20Cl2N2O·2C2H6OS, respectively. Both form strikingly similar one‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonding chain motifs with the DMSO solvent molecules. BIM (IIa) packs into double layers of chains whose orientations alternate every double layer, while (IIb) forms more simply packed chains along the a axis. BIM (IIa) has a remarkably long c axis.  相似文献

Treatment of bis(mesitylene)niobium(0) with 6–7 equivalents of 2,6‐dimethylphenyl isocyanide (CNXyl) affords two products with the empirical formula Nb(CNXyl)n (n = 7 or 6), which have been shown to be the diamagnetic dimers bis[μ‐N,N′,N′′,N′′′‐tetrakis(2,6‐dimethylphenyl)squaramidinato(2?)]bis[pentakis(2,6‐dimethylphenyl isocyanide)niobium(I)], [Nb2(C9H9N)10(C36H36N4)] or [Nb(CNXyl)5]2[μ‐C4(NXyl)4xSolvent, 1 , and bis[μ‐N,N′,N′′,N′′′‐tetrakis(2,6‐dimethylphenyl)squaramidinato(2?)]bis[tetrakis(2,6‐dimethylphenyl isocyanide)niobium(I)] tetrahydrofuran trisolvate, [Nb2(C9H9N)8(C36H36N4)]·3C4H8O or [Nb(CNXyl)4]2[μ‐C4(NXyl)4]·3THF (THF = tetrahydrofuran), 2 . Each contains NbI bound to either five or four terminal isocyanides, respectively, and to an unprecedented bridging tetraarylsquaramidinate(2?) unit, coordinated as a bidentate ligand to each niobium center, symmetrically due to the crystallographic inversion center that coincides with the centroid of the central C4 unit. Thus, in the presence of CNXyl, the bis(mesitylene)niobium(0) is oxidized to niobium(I), resulting in the facile loss of both mesitylene groups and the reductive coupling of two CNXyl groups per niobium to provide the first examples of tetraarylsquaramidinate(2?) ligands, [cyclo‐C4N4Ar4]2?, coordinated to metals. In contrast, bis(mesitylene)niobium(0) reacts with the more crowded 2,6‐diisopropylphenyl isocyanide (CNDipp) to afford the paramagnetic monomer hexakis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl isocyanide)niobium(0), [Nb(C13H17N)6] or Nb(CNDipp)6, 3 , the first zero‐valent niobium isocyanide analog of the highly unstable Nb(CO)6, which is presently only known to exist in an argon matrix at 4.2 K.  相似文献

The understanding of intermolecular interactions is a key objective of crystal engineering in order to exploit the derived knowledge for the rational design of new molecular solids with tailored physical and chemical properties. The tools and theories of crystal engineering are indispensable for the rational design of (pharmaceutical) cocrystals. The results of cocrystallization experiments of the antithyroid drug 6‐propyl‐2‐thiouracil (PTU) with 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine (DAPY), and of 6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracil (MOMTU) with DAPY and 2,4,6‐triaminopyrimidine (TAPY), respectively, are reported. PTU and MOMTU show a high structural similarity and differ only in the replacement of a methylene group (–CH2–) with an O atom in the side chain, thus introducing an additional hydrogen‐bond acceptor in MOMTU. Both molecules contain an ADA hydrogen‐bonding site (A = acceptor and D = donor), while the coformers DAPY and TAPY both show complementary DAD sites and therefore should be capable of forming a mixed ADA/DAD synthon with each other, i.e. N—H…O, N—H…N and N—H…S hydrogen bonds. The experiments yielded one solvated cocrystal salt of PTU with DAPY, four different solvates of MOMTU, one ionic cocrystal of MOMTU with DAPY and one cocrystal salt of MOMTU with TAPY, namely 2,4‐diaminopyrimidinium 6‐propyl‐2‐thiouracilate–2,4‐diaminopyrimidine–N,N‐dimethylacetamide–water (1/1/1/1) (the systematic name for 6‐propyl‐2‐thiouracilate is 6‐oxo‐4‐propyl‐2‐sulfanylidene‐1,2,3,6‐tetrahydropyrimidin‐1‐ide), C4H7N4+·C7H9N2OS·C4H6N4·C4H9NO·H2O, (I), 6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracil–N,N‐dimethylformamide (1/1), C6H8N2O2S·C3H7NO, (II), 6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracil–N,N‐dimethylacetamide (1/1), C6H8N2O2S·C4H9NO, (III), 6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracil–dimethyl sulfoxide (1/1), C6H8N2O2S·C2H6OS, (IV), 6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracil–1‐methylpyrrolidin‐2‐one (1/1), C6H8N2O2S·C5H9NO, (V), 2,4‐diaminopyrimidinium 6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracilate (the systematic name for 6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracilate is 4‐methoxymethyl‐6‐oxo‐2‐sulfanylidene‐1,2,3,6‐tetrahydropyrimidin‐1‐ide), C4H7N4+·C6H7N2O2S, (VI), and 2,4,6‐triaminopyrimidinium 6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracilate–6‐methoxymethyl‐2‐thiouracil (1/1), C4H8N5+·C6H7N2O2S·C6H8N2O2S, (VII). Whereas in (I) only an AA/DD hydrogen‐bonding interaction was formed, the structures of (VI) and (VII) both display the desired ADA/DAD synthon. Conformational studies on the side chains of PTU and MOMTU also revealed a significant deviation for cocrystals (VI) and (VII), leading to the desired enhancement of the hydrogen‐bond pattern within the crystal.  相似文献

In the title monohydrated cocrystal, namely 1,3‐diamino‐5‐azaniumyl‐1,3,5‐trideoxy‐cis‐inositol iodide–1,3,5‐triamino‐1,3,5‐trideoxy‐cis‐inositol–water (1/1/1), C6H16N3O3+·I·C6H15N3O3·H2O, the neutral 1,3,5‐triamino‐1,3,5‐trideoxy‐cis‐inositol (taci) molecule and the monoprotonated 1,3‐diamino‐5‐azaniumyl‐1,3,5‐trideoxy‐cis‐inositol cation (Htaci+) both adopt a chair conformation, with the three O atoms in axial and the three N atoms in equatorial positions. The cation, but not the neutral taci unit, exhibits intramolecular O—H...O hydrogen bonding. The entire structure is stabilized by a complex three‐dimensional network of intermolecular hydrogen bonds. The neutral taci entities and the Htaci+ cations are each aligned into chains along [001]. In these chains, two O—H...N interactions generate a ten‐membered ring as the predominant structural motif. The rings consist of vicinal 2‐amino‐1‐hydroxyethylene units of neighbouring molecules, which are paired via centres of inversion. The chains are interconnected into undulating layers parallel to the ac plane, and the layers are further held together by O—H...N hydrogen bonds and additional interactions with the iodide counter‐anions and solvent water molecules.  相似文献

Crystals of the title compound, C4H8N5+·C2F3O2, are built up of singly protonated 2,4‐diamino‐6‐methyl‐1,3,5‐triazin‐1‐ium cations and trifluoroacetate anions. The CF3 group of the anion is disordered. The oppositely charged ions interact via almost linear N—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming a CF3COO...C4H8N5+ unit. Two units related by an inversion centre interact through a pair of N—H...N hydrogen bonds, forming planar (CF3COO...C4H8N5+...C4H8N5+·CF3COO) aggregates that are linked by a pair of N—H...O hydrogen bonds into chains running along the c axis.  相似文献

Pharmaceutical cocrystals are crystalline solids formed by an active pharmaceutical ingredient and a cocrystal former. The cocrystals 2,6‐diaminopyridine (DAP)–piracetam [PIR; systematic name: 2‐(2‐oxopyrrolidin‐1‐yl)acetamide] (1/1), C5H7N3·C6H10N2O2, (I), and 2,6‐diaminopyridine–theophylline (TEO; systematic name: 1,3‐dimethyl‐7H‐purine‐2,6‐dione) (1/1), C5H7N3·C7H8N4O2, (II), were prepared by the solvent‐assisted grinding method and were characterized by IR spectroscopy and powder X‐ray diffraction. Cocrystal (I) crystallized in the orthorhombic space group Pbca and showed a 1:1 stoichiometry. The DAP and PIR molecules are linked by an N—H…O hydrogen‐bond interaction. Self‐assembly of PIR molecules forms a sheet of C (4) and C (7) chains. Cocrystal (II) crystallized in the monoclinic P 21/c space group and also showed a 1:1 stoichiometry. The DAP and TEO molecules are connected by N—H…N and N—H…O hydrogen bonds, forming an R 22(9) heterosynthon. A bidimensional supramolecular array is formed by interlinked DAP–TEO tetramers, producing a two‐dimensional sheet.  相似文献

The design and synthesis of 3d–4f heterometallic coordination polymers have attracted much interest due to the intriguing diversity of their architectures and topologies. Pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylic acid (H2pydc) has a versatile coordination mode and has been used to construct multinuclear and heterometallic compounds. Two isostructural centrosymmetric 3d–4f coordination compounds constructed from pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylic acid and 4,4′‐bipyridine (bpy), namely 4,4′‐bipyridine‐1,1′‐diium diaquabis(μ2‐pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato)tetrakis(pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato)bis[4‐(pyridin‐4‐yl)pyridinium]cobalt(II)dieuropium(III) octahydrate, (C10H10N2)[CoEu2(C10H9N2)2(C7H3NO4)6(H2O)2]·8H2O, (I), and 4,4′‐bipyridine‐1,1′‐diium diaquabis(μ2‐pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato)tetrakis(pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato)bis[4‐(pyridin‐4‐yl)pyridinium]cobalt(II)diterbium(III) octahydrate, (C10H10N2)[CoTb2(C10H9N2)2(C7H3NO4)6(H2O)2]·8H2O, (II), were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by IR and fluorescence spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and powder X‐ray diffraction. Both compounds crystallize in the triclinic space group P. The EuIII and TbIII cations adopt nine‐coordinated distorted tricapped trigonal–prismatic geometries bridged by three pydc2? ligands. The CoII cation has a six‐coordination environment formed by two pydc2? ligands, two bpy ligands and two coordinated water molecules. Adjacent molecules are connected by π–π stacking interactions to form a one‐dimensional chain, which is further extended into a three‐dimensional supramolecular network by multipoint hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of two new 1,3,5‐triazines containing 2‐(aminomethyl)‐1H‐benzimidazole hydrochloride as a substituent are reported, namely, 2‐{[(4,6‐dichloro‐1,3,5‐triazin‐2‐yl)amino]methyl}‐1H‐benzimidazol‐3‐ium chloride, C11H9Cl2N6+·Cl? ( 1 ), and bis(2,2′‐{[(6‐chloro‐1,3,5‐triazine‐2,4‐diyl)bis(azanediyl)]bis(methylene)}bis(1H‐benzimidazol‐3‐ium)) tetrachloride heptahydrate, 2C19H18ClN92+·4Cl?·7H2O ( 2 ). Both salts were characterized using single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis and IR spectroscopy. Moreover, the NMR (1H and 13C) spectra of 1 were obtained. Salts 1 and 2 have triclinic symmetry (space group P) and their supramolecular structures are stabilized by hydrogen bonding and offset π–π interactions. In hydrated salt 2 , the noncovalent interactions yield pseudo‐nanotubes filled with chloride anions and water molecules, which were modelled in the refinement with substitutional and positional disorder.  相似文献

A path to new synthons for application in crystal engineering is the replacement of a strong hydrogen‐bond acceptor, like a C=O group, with a weaker acceptor, like a C=S group, in doubly or triply hydrogen‐bonded synthons. For instance, if the C=O group at the 2‐position of barbituric acid is changed into a C=S group, 2‐thiobarbituric acid is obtained. Each of the compounds comprises two ADA hydrogen‐bonding sites (D = donor and A = acceptor). We report the results of cocrystallization experiments of barbituric acid and 2‐thiobarbituric acid, respectively, with 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine, which contains a complementary DAD hydrogen‐bonding site and is therefore capable of forming an ADA/DAD synthon with barbituric acid and 2‐thiobarbituric acid. In addition, pure 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine was crystallized in order to study its preferred hydrogen‐bonding motifs. The experiments yielded one ansolvate of 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine (pyrimidine‐2,4‐diamine, DAPY), C4H6N4, (I), three solvates of DAPY, namely 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine–1,4‐dioxane (2/1), 2C4H6N4·C4H8O2, (II), 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine–N,N‐dimethylacetamide (1/1), C4H6N4·C4H9NO, (III), and 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine–1‐methylpyrrolidin‐2‐one (1/1), C4H6N4·C5H9NO, (IV), one salt of barbituric acid, viz. 2,4‐diaminopyrimidinium barbiturate (barbiturate is 2,4,6‐trioxopyrimidin‐5‐ide), C4H7N4+·C4H3N2O3, (V), and two solvated salts of 2‐thiobarbituric acid, viz. 2,4‐diaminopyrimidinium 2‐thiobarbiturate–N,N‐dimethylformamide (1/2) (2‐thiobarbiturate is 4,6‐dioxo‐2‐sulfanylidenepyrimidin‐5‐ide), C4H7N4+·C4H3N2O2S·2C3H7NO, (VI), and 2,4‐diaminopyrimidinium 2‐thiobarbiturate–N,N‐dimethylacetamide (1/2), C4H7N4+·C4H3N2O2S·2C4H9NO, (VII). The ADA/DAD synthon was succesfully formed in the salt of barbituric acid, i.e. (V), as well as in the salts of 2‐thiobarbituric acid, i.e. (VI) and (VII). In the crystal structures of 2,4‐diaminopyrimidine, i.e. (I)–(IV), R22(8) N—H…N hydrogen‐bond motifs are preferred and, in two structures, additional R32(8) patterns were observed.  相似文献

With the rapid development of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), a variety of MOFs and their derivatives have been synthesized and reported in recent years. Commonly, multifunctional aromatic polycarboxylic acids and nitrogen‐containing ligands are employed to construct MOFs with fascinating structures. 4,4′,4′′‐(1,3,5‐Triazine‐2,4,6‐triyl)tribenzoic acid (H3TATB) and the bidentate nitrogen‐containing ligand 1,3‐bis[(imidazol‐1‐yl)methyl]benzene (bib) were selected to prepare a novel ZnII‐MOF under solvothermal conditions, namely poly[[tris{μ‐1,3‐bis[(imidazol‐1‐yl)methyl]benzene}bis[μ3‐4,4′,4′′‐(1,3,5‐triazine‐2,4,6‐triyl)tribenzoato]trizinc(II)] dimethylformamide disolvate trihydrate], {[Zn3(C24H12N3O6)2(C14H14N4)3]·2C3H7NO·3H2O}n ( 1 ). The structure of 1 was characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy and powder X‐ray diffraction. The properties of 1 were investigated by thermogravimetric and fluorescence analysis. Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction shows that 1 belongs to the monoclinic space group Pc. The asymmetric unit contains three crystallographically independent ZnII centres, two 4,4′,4′′‐(1,3,5‐triazine‐2,4,6‐triyl)tribenzoate (TATB3?) anions, three complete bib ligands, one and a half free dimethylformamide molecules and three guest water molecules. Each ZnII centre is four‐coordinated and displays a distorted tetrahedral coordination geometry. The ZnII centres are connected by TATB3? anions to form an angled ladder chain with large windows. Simultaneously, the bib ligands link ZnII centres to give a helical Zn–bib–Zn chain. Furthermore, adjacent ladders are bridged by Zn–bib–Zn chains to form a fascinating three‐dimensional self‐penetrated framework with the short Schläfli symbol 65·7·813·9·10. In addition, the luminescence properties of 1 in the solid state and the fluorescence sensing of metal ions in suspension were studied. Significantly, compound 1 shows potential application as a fluorescent sensor with sensing properties for Zr4+ and Cu2+ ions.  相似文献

In 2,4‐dihydroxybenzaldehyde 2,4‐dinitrophenylhydrazone N,N‐dimethylformamide solvate {or 4‐[(2,4‐dinitrophenyl)hydrazonomethyl]benzene‐1,3‐diol N,N‐dimethylformamide solvate}, C13H10N4O6·C3H7NO, (X), 2,4‐dihydroxyacetophenone 2,4‐dinitrophenylhydrazone N,N‐dimethylformamide solvate (or 4‐{1‐[(2,4‐dinitrophenyl)hydrazono]ethyl}benzene‐1,3‐diol N,N‐dimethylformamide solvate), C14H12N4O6·C3H7NO, (XI), and 2,4‐dihydroxybenzophenone 2,4‐dinitrophenylhydrazone N,N‐dimethylacetamide solvate (or 4‐{[(2,4‐dinitrophenyl)hydrazono]phenylmethyl}benzene‐1,3‐diol N,N‐dimethylacetamide solvate), C19H14N4O6·C4H9NO, (XII), the molecules all lack a center of symmetry, crystallize in centrosymmetric space groups and have been observed to exhibit non‐linear optical activity. In each case, the hydrazone skeleton is fairly planar, facilitated by the presence of two intramolecular hydrogen bonds and some partial N—N double‐bond character. Each molecule is hydrogen bonded to one solvent molecule.  相似文献

The molecular dimensions of 2‐ethylsulfanyl‐7‐(4‐methylphenyl)‐4‐phenylpyrazolo[1,5‐a][1,3,5]triazine, C20H18N4S, (I), 7‐(4‐chlorophenyl)‐2‐ethylsulfanyl‐4‐phenylpyrazolo[1,5‐a][1,3,5]triazine, C19H15ClN4S, (II), and 4,7‐bis(4‐chlorophenyl)‐2‐(ethylsulfanyl)pyrazolo[1,5‐a][1,3,5]triazine, C19H14Cl2N4S, (III), show evidence for some aromatic delocalization in the pyrazole rings. The conformations adopted by the ethylsulfanyl substituents are different in all three compounds. There are no hydrogen bonds in any of the crystal structures, but pairs of molecules in (II) and (III) are linked into centrosymmetric dimers by π‐stacking interactions.  相似文献

A family of energetic salts with high thermal stability and low impact sensitivity based on an oxygen‐containing cation, 2,4‐diamino‐1,3,5‐triazine‐6‐one, were synthesized and fully characterized by IR and multinuclear (1H, 13C) NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and differential scanning calorimetry. Insights into their sensitivities towards impact, friction, and electrostatics were gained by submitting the materials to standard tests. The structures of 2,4‐diamino‐1,3,5‐triazine‐6‐one nitrate, 2,4‐diamino‐1,3,5‐triazine‐6‐one sulfate, 2,4‐diamino‐1,3,5‐triazine‐6‐one perchlorate, 2,4‐diamino‐1,3,5‐triazine‐6‐one 5‐nitrotetrazolate were determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction; their densities are 1.691, 1.776, 1.854, and 1.636 g cm?3, respectively. Most of the salts decompose at temperatures over 180 °C; in particular, the salts 2,4‐diamino‐1,3,5‐triazine‐6‐one nitrate and 2,4‐diamino‐1,3,5‐triazine‐6‐one perchlorate, which decompose at 303.3 and 336.4 °C, respectively, are fairly stable. Furthermore, most of the salts exhibit excellent impact sensitivities (>40 J), friction sensitivities (>360 N), and are insensitive to electrostatics. The measured densities of these energetic salts range from 1.64 to 2.01 g cm?3. The detonation pressure values calculated for these salts range from 14.6 to 29.2 GPa, and the detonation velocities range from 6536 to 8275 m s?1; these values make the salts potential candidates for thermally stable and insensitive energetic materials.  相似文献
