Four thiophene functionalized triazole ligands (L1=4-(thenyl)-1,2,4-triazole, L2=4-(thiophene ethyl)-1,2,4-triazole, L3=N-Thiophenylidene-4H-1,2,4-triazole-4-amine, and L4=(4-[(E)-2-(5-sulfothiophene)vinyl]-1,2,4-triazole) were synthesized. These ligands have different lengths and rigidities, while ligand L4 has a sulfonic acid group that can form a hydrogen bond. Five 1D FeII chain complexes were synthesized: [Fe(L1)3](X)2 ⋅ nH2O [X=BF4, n=1.5 ( C1 ); X=ClO4, n=1 ( C2 )], [Fe(L2)3](BF4)2 ⋅ 1.5H2O ( C3 ); [Fe(L3)3](X)2 ⋅ nH2O [X=BF4, n=2 ( C4 ); X=ClO4, n=2.5 ( C5 )]. The results of temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility reveal that complexes C1 , C2 , and C3 experienced the transition between two spin states. And C4 and C5 maintain high spin states at all temperature ranges. Binuclear complex [Fe2(L3)5(SCN)4] ( C6 ) and mononuclear material [Fe(L4)2(H2O)4] ⋅ 2H2O ( C7 ), these two zero-dimensional molecules were also synthesized. They all display weak antiferromagnetic exchange coupling and a high spin state in the whole process.  相似文献

The compounds of 2-(5-chloro/nitro-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)-4-bromo/nitrophenols (HLX : X = 1–4) and their copper(II) nitrate and iron(III) nitrate complexes have been synthesized and characterized. The structures of the complexes were confirmed on the basis of elemental analysis, thermal gravimetric analysis, molar conductivity and magnetic moment measurements, FT-IR, mass, and UV-Vis spectroscopy techniques. The complexes show high-thermal stability with >350°C m.p. In all complexes, the ligands are bidentate via one imine nitrogen and a phenolate oxygen. Cu(II) complexes having 1 : 2 M : L ratio are classified as non-electrolytes, whereas 1 : 1 M : L ratio is observed in Fe(III) complexes except [Fe(L3)2(H2O)2](NO3) ? 3H2O. The antimicrobial activities of the ligands and the complexes were evaluated using the disc diffusion method in DMSO as well as minimum inhibitory concentration dilution method against Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Proteus mirabilis. Antifungal activities were reported for Candida albicans. The complexes [Fe(L3)2(H2O)2](NO3) ? 3H2O and [Cu(L3)2] ? 2H2O are more effective against S. epidermidis than ciprofloxacin.  相似文献

Using the ligands N‐methylimidazole ( MeIm ), N‐ethylimidazole ( EtIm ), N‐propylimidazole ( PrIm ), and 1‐methyl‐1H‐1, 2, 4‐triazole ( MeTz ) three series with a total of 13 iron(II) complexes were isolated. The series comprise of the following complexes: (a) [Fe( MeIm )6](ClO4)2 ( 1 ), [Fe( EtIm )6](ClO4)2 ( 2 ), [Fe( PrIm )6](ClO4)2( 3 ), [Fe( MeTz )6](ClO4)2 ( 4 ), [Fe( MeIm )6](MeSO3)2 ( 5 ), [Fe( EtIm )6](MeSO3)2 ( 6 ), and [Fe( MeTz )6](BF4)2 ( 10 ); (b) [Fe( MeIm )4(MeSO3)2]( 7 ), [Fe( EtIm )4(MeSO3)2] ( 8 ), and [Fe( PrIm )4(MeSO3)2] ( 9 ); (c) [Fe( MeIm )4(NCS)2] ( 15 ), [Fe( EtIm )4(NCS)2] ( 16 ), and [Fe( MeTz )4(NCS)2] ( 17 ). Single crystal X‐ray diffraction studies were performed on 7 – 10 and 15 – 17 . Temperature dependent magnetic susceptibility measurements were performed on selective examples of all series, and confirmed them to be in the HS state over the range 6–300 K. DFT calculations were performed at BP86/def‐SV(P) and TPSSh/def2‐TZVPP level on all [Fe L 6]2+ complex cations and the neutral complexes 7 – 9 and 15 – 17 . Additionally the four homoleptic nickel(II) complexes [Ni L 6](ClO4)2 ( 11 : L = MeIm ; 12 : L = EtIm ; 13 : L = PrIm ; 14 : L = MeTz ) were synthesized and compounds 11 – 13 structurally characterized. UV/Vis/NIR spectroscopic measurements were carried out on all homoleptic iron(II) and nickel(II) complexes. The 10Dq values were determined to be in the range of 11547–11574 and 10471–10834 cm–1 for the iron(II) and nickel(II) complexes, respectively.  相似文献

A series of new N,O-hybrid ligands was synthesized by oxidation of pyridyl-substituted phospholanes. These ligands were employed in the first synthesis of water-soluble mononuclear nickel(II) complexes [NiL2(H2O)2](BF4)2 and [NiL2(MeCN)2](BF4)2. Mononuclear [Fe(H2LR)2]X2 (R = H, 2-Me, 5-Me, 2-Et-5-Me; X = ClO4, BF4) and dinuclear [Fe2(H2LR)3]X4 complexes containing imidazole-4-carbaldehyde azine (H2LH) and its derivatives prepared by condensation of 4-formylimidazole, 2-methyl- or 5-methyl-4-formylimidazole, or 2-ethyl-4-methyl-5-formylimidazole, with hydrazine in a 2:1 mole ratio in methanol, were prepared and their magnetostructural relationships were studied. In the mononuclear complexes, H2LR acts as an unsymmetrical tridentate ligand with two imidazole nitrogen atoms and one azine nitrogen atom, while in the dinuclear complexes, H2LR acts as a dinucleating ligand employing four nitrogen atoms to form a triple helicate structure. At room temperature, [Fe2(H2LH)3](ClO4)4 and [Fe2(H2L2-Me)3](ClO4)4 were in the high-spin (HS) and low-spin (LS) states, respectively. The results are in accordance with the ligand field strength of H2L2-Me with electron-donating methyl groups being stronger than H2LH, with the order of the ligand field strengths being H2L2-Me > H2LH. However, in the mononuclear [Fe(H2LH)2](ClO4)2 and [Fe(H2L2-Me)2](ClO4)2 complexes, a different order of ligand field strengths, H2LH > H2L2-Me, was observed because [Fe(H2LH)2](ClO4)2 was in the LS state while [Fe(H2L2-Me)2](ClO4)2 was in the HS state at room temperature. X-ray structural studies revealed that the interligand steric repulsion between a methyl group of an H2L2-Me ligand and the other ligand in [Fe(H2L2-Me)2](ClO4)2 is responsible for the observed change in the spin state. The same is true for [Fe(H2L2-Et-5-Me)2](ClO4)2, while [Fe(H2L5-Me)2](ClO4)2 does not involve such a steric congestion and stays in the LS state over the temperature range 5–300 K. Two kinds of crystals (polymorphs) were isolated for [Fe2(H2LH)3](BF4)4 and [Fe2(H2L2-Et-5-Me)3](ClO4)4, and they exhibited different magnetic behaviors.  相似文献

The apparent and limiting apparent molal volumes of dilute aqueous solutions of K3[Al(ox)3] · 3H2O, K3[Fe(ox)3] · 3H2O, K3[Co(ox)3] · 3H2O, and K3[Cr(ox)3] · 3H2O complexes were determined from density data measured at 15°, 25°, and 35°C. The apparent and limiting apparent molal adiabatic compressibilities of these complexes were determined from measured ultrasonic sound velocities at 15°, 25°, and 35° in dilute aqueous solutions. The volume change associated with complex formation is discussed in terms of the nature of the coordinate bond and the overall hydration behavior of these complexes.  相似文献

A series of dicarbene‐bridged metallacycles [Ag2( 1 )2](PF6)2, [Ag2( 2 )2](BF4)2, [Ag2( 3 )2](PF6)2, [Ag2( 7 )2](BF4)2, [Ag2( 8 )2](BF4)2 and [Ag2( 11 )2](PF6)2 were obtained in high yields via the reactions of 1,2,4‐triazole‐, 1,2,3‐triazole‐ and imidazo[1,5‐a]pyridine‐based ligands with Ag2O in CH3CN. The C=C double bonds in all of the newly synthesized metallacycles went through [2 + 2] photodimerization under UV irradiation condition (λ = 365 nm, T = 298 K) yielding the dinuclear rctt‐cyclobutane‐silver(I) complexes [Ag2( 4 )](PF6)2, [Ag2( 5 )](BF4)2, [Ag2( 6 )](PF6)2, [Ag2( 9 )](BF4)2, [Ag2( 10 )](BF4)2 and [Ag2( 12 )](PF6)2, respectively with quantitative yields. Treatment of the these cyclobutane‐bridged silver(I) complexes with NH4Cl resulted in the exclusive formation of cyclobutane derivatives after removal of the silver(I) metal ions.  相似文献

Reaction of the N-(2-pyridyl)carbonylaniline ligand (L) with Cu(NO3)2, Cu(ClO4)2, Zn(ClO4)2, Ni(NO3)2 and PdCl2 gives complexes with stoichiometry [Cu(L)2(H2O)2](NO3)2, [Cu(L)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2, [Zn(L)2(H2O)2] (ClO4)2, [Ni(L)2(H2O)Cl](NO3) and PdLCl2. The new complexes were characterized by elemental analyses and infrared spectra. The crystal structures of [Cu(L)2(H2O)2](NO3)2, [Cu(L)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2, and [Zn(L)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2 were determined by X-ray crystallography. The cation complexes [M(L)2(H2O)2] contain copper(II) and zinc(II) with distorted octahedral geometry with two N-(2-pyridyl)carbonylaniline (L) ligands occupying the equatorial sites. The hexa-coordinated metal atoms are bonded to two pyridinic nitrogens, two carbonyl oxygens and two water molecules occupying the axial sites. Both the coordinated water molecules and uncoordinated amide NH groups of the N-(2-pyridyl)carbonylaniline (L) ligands are involved in hydrogen bonding, resulting in infinite hydrogen-bonded chains running in one and two-dimensions.  相似文献

Three copper(II), one zinc(II), and one ferrous(II) complexes having 3-bromo or 3,8-dibromo-1,10-phenanthroline ligand with different metal/ligand molar ratios, formulated as [Cu(3-bromo-phen)(ClO4)(C3H7NO)2(H2O)](ClO4) (1), [Cu(3,8-dibromo-phen)(ClO4)(C3H7NO)2(H2O)](ClO4) (2), [Cu(3,8-dibromo-phen)(ClO4)(H2O)3](ClO4)(H2O)3 (3), [Zn(3,8-dibromo-phen)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2(H2O)2 (4), and [Fe(3,8-dibromo-phen)3](ClO4)2(H2O)(CH4O)(C3H6O)2 (5) (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), have been synthesized and characterized in this paper. X-ray single-crystal diffraction studies reveal the different crystallographic symmetry and packing fashions between neighboring phen rings in 1:1 Cu(II) complexes 13 due to the alteration of bromo substituent 1,10-phenanthroline ligands and coordinated or free solvent molecules. Additionally, in 1:2 Zn(II) and 1:3 Fe(II) complexes 4 and 5, continuous π–π stacking and alternating π–π and dimeric p–π stacking are found.  相似文献

Synthesis and spectral characteristics of [Fe(nia)3Cl3] and [Fe(nia)3(H2O)2](ClO4)3 are described. The effect of these compounds as well as of FeCl3·6H2O on photosynthetic electron transport in spinach chloroplasts was investigated using EPR spectroscopy. It was found that due to the interaction of these compounds with tyrosine radicals situated at the 161st position in D1 (TyrZ) and D2 (TyrD) proteins located at the donor side of photosystem (PS) II, electron transport between the photosynthetic centres PS II and PS I was interrupted. In addition, the treatment with [Fe(nia)3(H2O)2](ClO4)3 resulted in a release of Mn(II) from the oxygen evolving complex situated on the donor side of PS II. Moreover, the effect of the Fe(III) compounds studied on some production characteristics of hydroponically cultivated maize plants and on Fe accumulation in plant organs was investigated. In general, the production characteristic most inhibited by the presence of Fe(III) compounds was the leaf dry mass and [Fe(nia)3(H2O)2](ClO4)3 was found to be the most effective compound. The highest Fe amount was accumulated in the roots, and the leaves treated with Fe(III) compounds contained more Fe than the stems. The treatment with FeCl3·6H2O caused the most effective translocation of Fe into the shoots. Comparing the effect of nicotinamide complexes, [Fe(nia)3(H2O)2](ClO4)3 was found to facilitate the translocation of Fe into the shoots more effectively than [Fe(nia)3Cl3]. This could be connected with the different structure of these complexes. [Fe(nia)3(H2O)2](ClO4)3 has ionic structure and, in addition, coordinated H2O molecules can be easily substituted by other ligands. Four coordination compounds [Zn3(CH3COO)6(H2O)2](TT)2 [Cd(H2O)6](ClO4)2(TT)2, [Cd(H2O)6](BF4)2(TT)2, [Zn(H2O)6](BF4)2(TT)2 ( 1 – 4 ) accommodating the crystallization induced emissive triimidazo[1,2‐a:1′,2′‐c:1′′,2′′‐e][1,3,5]triazine ( TT ) as a guest in their crystal lattice are isolated and fully photophysically and structurally characterized. Their emission properties are compared with those of afterglow TT and interpreted taking into account the heavy atom effect and crystal packing similarities and differences. In the case of 1 , due to the closeness of the TT H‐aggregates arrangement with that of the phosphor's pure phase, the observed intensification of the phosphorescent emission at the expense of the prompt one is attributed to the extrinsic heavy atom effect of Zn. In 2 and 3 , the heavier Cd atom is responsible for a decrease in the lifetimes of the afterglow emission, despite the presence of tightly overlapped H‐dimers in the crystal structure. Finally, for 4 , isostructural with 3 , the Zn atom reveals in RTUP lifetime comparable with that of 1 .  相似文献

Novel oligonuclear complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) with 4-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-1,2,4-triazole (L) of the composition [M3L10(H2O)2](NO3)6 (M = Co(II), Ni(II)), [Ni3L6(H2O)6]Hal6 (Hal = Cl?, Br?), and [Cu5L16(H2O)2](NO3)10 · 2H2O were synthesized and studied by magnetic susceptibility, electronic and IR spectroscopy, and powder X-ray diffraction methods. All the above complexes are X-ray amorphous. Antifer-romagnetic exchange interactions between the M2+ ions were discovered in the [Co3L10(H2O)2](NO3)6 and [Ni3L10(H2O)2](NO3)6 complexes, whereas ferromagnetic exchange interactions were observed in the complexes [Ni3L6(H2O)6]Cl6, [Ni3L6(H2O)6]Br6, and [Cu5L16(H2O)2](NO3)10 · 2H2O.  相似文献

 11-(4H-1,2,4-Triazol-4-yl)-undecylmethacrylate (1), a new ligand for Fe(II) spin-crossover (SCO) complexes containing a polymerizable group, was synthesized and characterized. The complex [Fe·1 3](BF4)2 (2) was obtained by reaction of 1 with Fe(BF4)2·6H2O (molar ratio 1/Fe(II) = 3/1) in THF. Complex 2 showed a gradual spin-crossover between 80 and 230 K. The methacrylate units in the ligands of complex 2 could be oligomerized radically in solution (initiator: azoisobutyronitrile) without loss of the spin-crossover behaviour.  相似文献

Five new mononuclear iron(II) tris‐ligand complexes, and four solvatomorphs, have been made from the azine‐substituted 1,2,4‐triazole ligands ( Lazine ): [FeII( Lpyridazine )3](BF4)2 ( 1 ), [FeII( Lpyrazine )3](BF4)2 ( 2 ), [FeII( Lpyridine )3](BF4)2 ( 3 ), [FeII( L2pyrimidine )3](BF4)2 ( 4 ), and [FeII( L4pyrimidine )3](BF4)2 ( 5 ). Single‐crystal XRD and solid‐state magnetometry reveal that all of them are low‐spin (LS) iron(II), except for solvatomorph 5 ?4 H2O. Evans method NMR studies in CD2Cl2, (CD3)2CO and CD3CN show that all are LS in these solvents, except 5 in CD2Cl2 (consistent with L4pyrimidine imposing the weakest field). Cyclic voltammetry in CH3CN vs. Ag/0.01 m AgNO3 reveals an, at best quasi‐reversible, FeIII/II redox process, with Epa increasing from 0.69 to 0.99 V as the azine changes: pyridine< pyridazine<2‐pyrimidine<4‐pyrimidine< pyrazine. The observed Epa values correlate linearly with the DFT calculated HOMO energies for the LS complexes.  相似文献

New complexes of copper(II) nitrate, chloride, tetrafluoroborate, perchlorate, and perrhenate with bis(4-iodo-3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)methane (L) were obtained. The molecular and crystal structures of [CuL(H2O)(NO3)2] · (CH3)2CO, [CuL2(H2O)][CuL2Cl][CuCl4], [CuL2](BF4)2 · (CH3)2CO, and [CuL2(H2O)](ClO4)2 · (CH3)2CO were determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. In all the complexes, L was found to serve as a chelating bidentate ligand through the N2 and N2′ atoms of its pyrazole rings to form a six-membered chelate ring.  相似文献

Four homotrinuclear linear coordination compounds with bridging ligand of (m-phenol)-1,2,4-triazole, [Mn3(L)6(H2O)6](ClO4)6 (1), [Ni3(L)6(H2O)6](BF4)6·4DMF (2), [Cd3(L)6(H2O)6](ClO4)6· 2H2O·2DMF·2EtOH (3), [Zn3(L)8(H2O)4](BF4)4(SiF6)·2EtOH·12H2O (4), have been synthesized and structurally determined. The structures consist of three metal ions in linear arrangements, linked to each other by two pairs of three N1, N2 bridging triazole ligands. The negative value of J suggests that antiferromagnetic interaction exists in 1. Green fluorescence of 2 and 4 with emissions at 518 nm for 2 and 524 for 4 is possibly assigned to LMCT. The energy gaps of the compounds 2 and 4 are 1.82 and 1.97 eV, respectively, which suggests that the two materials behave as semiconductors.  相似文献

New complexes of iron(II), cobalt(II), and nickel(II) with 4-(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazole (PyTrz), [Fe3(PyTrz)8(H2O)4]A6 (A = NO3 -, ClO4 -, Br-) and [M3(PyTrz)8(H2O)4](NO3)6 (M = Co, Ni), were synthesized and studied by X-ray diffraction, magnetochemical method, and electronic and IR spectroscopy. The complex [Fe3(PyTrz)8(H2O)4](NO3)6) was also studied by adiabatic calorimetry. The Fe(II), Co(II), and Ni(II) nitrate complexes were shown to be isostructural to the previously synthesized linear trinuclear [Cu3(PyTrz)8H2O)4](NO3)6 complex. In all compounds, antiferromagnetic exchange interactions between M2+ ions were detected. The complex [Fe3(PyTrz)8(H2O)4](NO3)6 undergoes the 1 A 1 5 T 2 spin transition.  相似文献

Three new cobalt complexes were synthesized by solid-state reaction at room temperature and the resultant Co complexes reacted with two equivalent oxygen molecules at room temperature to produce the oxygenated complexes [Co·(L1)2·(O2)2](NO3)2·2H2O (L1 = N, N’-bis(4-hydroxyl-3-methoxy-benzyl)-diethylenetriamine), [Co·(L2)2·(O2)2](NO3)2·2H2O (L2 = N, N’-bis(4-hydroxyl-3-methoxy-benzyl)-triethylenetetramine), and [Co·(L3)2·(O2)2](NO3)2·2H2O (L3 = N, N’-bis(4-hydroxyl-3-methoxy-benzyl-tetraethylenepentamine). The oxygenated complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR (Infrared), 1H-NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance), and UV-Vis (Ultraviolet Visual) spectrometry, and TG/DTA (Thermogravimetry/Differential Thermal Analysis) analysis, and molar conductance. The coordinated oxygen contents in the oxygenated complexes were also determined by weight method.
