Based on a systematic investigation of J/ψ(ψ) → VP,where V and P stand for light vector and pseudoscalar mesons,we identify the role played by the electromagnetic(EM) transitions and intermediate meson loop transitions,which are essential ingredients for understanding the J/ψ and ψ couplings to VP.We show that on the one hand,the EM transitions have relatively larger interferences in ψ→ρπ and K*K+c.c.as explicitly shown by vector meson dominance(VMD).On the other hand,the strong decay of ψ receives relatively larger destructive interferences from the intermediate meson loop transitions.By identifying these mechanisms in an overall study of J/ψ(ψ)→VP,we provide a coherent understanding of the so-called "ρπ puzzle".  相似文献

The data collected by the KLOE Collaboration at the Frascati φ-factory DAΦNE from 2001 to 2006 have been used for extensive studies in meson spectroscopy.The decays of the scalar mesons a0(980) and f0(980) into two pseudoscalar mesons have been exploited to measure the relevant parameters of those resonances.The radiative decays φ→ηγ and ηγ have been used for the determination of the pseudoscalar mixing angle and to search for a possible gluonium content in the η.The dynamics of the η→ 3π decay has been studied and the Dalitz Plot parameters have been measured.The large amount of η mesons produced allowed also to study interesting rare η decays.  相似文献

It was found that the vector meson pair from the pseudoscalar decays can form an entangled state.In this work we give out detailed explanations on the polarization correlation of the two entangled vector mesons.It is demonstrated that an experimental test of the Clauser-Horne inequality can be carried out through measuring the azimuthal distribution of four pseudoscalars in the cascade decay ηc→ VV →(PP)(PP),and the measurement of this process is feasible with the current running experiments in tau-charm factory.Moreover,a brief discussion on the polarization correlation of the two vector mesons from B → VV decays is also presented.  相似文献

The effects of spin-spin interaction on thermed entanglement of a two-qubit Heisenberg XYZ model with different inhomogeneous magnetic fields are investigated. It is shown that the entanglement is dependent on the spin-spin interaction and the inhomogeneous magnetic fields. The larger the Ji (i-axis spin-spin interaction), the higher critical value the Bi (i-axis uniform magnetic field) has. Moreover, in the weak-field regime, the larger Ji corresponds to more entanglement, while in the strong-field regime, different Ji correspond to the same entanglement. In addition, it is found that with the increase of Ji, the concurrence can approach the maximum value more rapidly for the smaller Bi, and can reach a larger value for the smaller bi (i-axis nonuniform magnetic field). So we can get more entanglement by increasing the spin-spin interaction Ji, or by decreasing the uniform magnetic field Bi and the nonuniform magnetic field hi.  相似文献

Based on an extended NJL model including heavy quark flavors, we calculate the form factors of pseudoscalar and vector mesons. After taking into account the vector-meson-dominance effect, which introduces a form factor correction to the quark vector coupling vertices, the form factors and electric radii of π+and K+pseudo-scalar mesons in the light flavor sector fit the experimental data well. The magnetic moments of the light vector mesonsρ+and K*+are comparable with other theoretical calculations. The form factors in the light-heavy flavor sector are presented to compare with future experiments or other theoretical calculations.  相似文献

The semileptonic decays B+c →P(V) +L++νL and the nonleptonic decays B+c →P(V) + L, where P(V) denotes a pseudoscalar(vector) charmonium or(ˉbs)-meson, and L denotes a light meson, are studied in the framework of improved instantaneous BetheSalpeter(BS) equation and the Mandelstam formula. The numerical results(width and branching ratio of the decays) are presented in tables, and in order to compare conveniently, those obtained by other approaches are also put in the relevant tables. Based on the fact that the ratio BR(B+c →ψ(2S)π+)/BR(B+c →J/ψπ+)= 0.24+0.023-0.040 estimated here is in good agreement with the observation by LHCb BR(B+c →ψ(2S)π+)BR(B+c →J/ψπ+)=0.250±0.068(stat)±0.014(syst)±0.006(B), one may conclude that with respect to the decays the present framework works quite well.  相似文献

Based on an IR-improved soft-wall AdS/QCD model for mesons,which provides a consistent prediction for the mass spectra of resonance scalar,pseudoscalar,vector and axial-vector mesons,we investigate its finite temperature effect.By analyzing the spectral function of mesons and fitting it with a Breit-Wigner form,we perform an analysis for the critical temperature of mesons.The back-reaction effects of bulk vacuum are considered and the thermal mass spectral function of resonance mesons is calculated based on the back-reaction improved action.A reasonable melting temperature is found to be T_c≈150 ± 7 MeV.which is consistent with the recent results from lattice QCD simulations.  相似文献

We propose an extended Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model to include heavy mesons with heavy quark symmetry.The quark current-current interaction is generalized to include the heavy quark currents. In order to comply with the heavy quark spin symmetry at the heavy quark limit,the dependence of the quark mass on the interaction strength is introduced. The light and heavy pseudo-scalar and vector mesons,their masses and the weak decay constants are calculated in the unified frame.  相似文献

Considering the one-gluon exchange interaction and phenomenological quark confinement potential, an improved light-cone effective Hamiltonian for mesons and the corresponding radial mass eigen equations in angular momentum representation is obtained. Solving the J = 0 eigen equations numerically and using a set of adjustable parameters, the obtained solutions for ground states and radial excited states can simultaneously describe both pseudoscalar and scalar flavour-off-diagonal mesons. Some radial excited states are also predicted and wait for experimental test. More results for the vector and axial vector mesons are expected.  相似文献

Using the phenomenological relativistic harmonic model (RHM) for quarks, we have obtained the masses of S wave charmonium and bottomonium states. The full Hamiltonian used in the investigation has Lorentz scalar plus vector confinement potential, along with the confined one gluon exchange potential (COGEP). A good agreement with the experimental masses for the ground and the radially excited states is obtained both for the triplet and singlet S wave mesons. The decay properties of the ground state charmonium and bottomonium are investigated.  相似文献

We calculate the decay constants of light and heavy-light pseudoscalar and vector mesons with improved soft-wall holographic wavefuntions,which take into account the effects of both quark masses and dynamical spins.We find that the predicted decay constants,especially for the ratio f V/f P,based on light-front holographic QCD,can be significantly improved,once the dynamical spin effects are taken into account by introducing the helicity-dependent wavefunctions.We also perform detailed χ~2 analyses for the holographic parameters(i.e.the mass-scale parameterκ and the quark masses),by confronting our predictions with the data for the charged-meson decay constants and the meson spectra.The fitted values for these parameters are generally in agreement with those obtained by fitting to the Regge trajectories.At the same time,most of our results for the decay constants and their ratios agree with the data as well as the predictions based on lattice QCD and QCD sum rule approaches,with only a few exceptions observed.  相似文献

Based on the light-cone effective Hamiltonian with confining potential and SU (3) flavor mixing interactions, the flavor mixing mesons on the u, d, and s quark sectors are investigated. I discuss several recent highly accurate theoretical predictions for masses of baryons containing the b quark,especially Ωb (ssb) very recently reported by CDF.I also point out an approximate effective supersymmetry between heavy quark baryons and mesons and provide predictions for the magnetic moments of Λc and Λb .Proper treatment of the color-magnetic hyperfine interaction in QCD is crucial for obtaining these results.  相似文献

In this article,we study the structures of the pseudoscalar mesons π,K and the scalar diquarks Ua,Da,Sa in the framework of the coupled rainbow Schwinger-Dyson equation and ladder Bethe-Salpeter equation with the confining effective potential.The u,d,s quarks have small current masses,and the renormalization is very large,the mass poles in the timelike region are absent which implements confinement naturally.The Bethe-Salpeter wavefunctions of the pseudoscalar mesons π,K,and the scalar diquarks Ua,Da,Sa have the same type (Gaussian type) momentum dependence,center around zero momentum and extend to the energy scale about q2 = 1 GeV2,which happens to be the energy scale for the chiral symmetry breaking,the strong interactions in the infrared region result in bound (or quasi-bound) states.The numerical results for the masses and decay constants of the π and K mesons can reproduce the experimental values,and the ground state masses of the scalar diquarks Ua,Da,Sa are consistent with the existing theoretical calculations.We suggest a new Lagrangian which may explain the uncertainty of the masses of the scalar diquarks.  相似文献

The B-spline configuration-interaction method is applied to the investigations of dynamic dipole polarizabilities for the four lowest triplet states(2~3S,3~3S,2~3P,and 3~3P) of the Li~+ ion.The accurate energies for the triplet states of n~3S,n~3P,and n~3D,the dipole oscillator strengths for 2~3S(3~3S)→n~3P,2~3P(3~3P)→n~3S,and 2~3P(3~3P)→n~3D transitions,with the main quantum number n up to 10 are tabulated for references.The dynamic dipole polarizabilities for the four triplet states under a wide range of photon energy are also listed,which provide input data for analyzing the Stark shift of the Li~+ ion.Furthermore,the tune-out wavelengths in the range from 100 nm to 1.2 μm for the four triplet states,and the magic wavelengths in the range from 100 nm to 600 nm for the 2~3S→3~3S,2~3S→2~3P,and 2~3S→3~3P transitions are determined accurately for the experimental design of the Li~+ ion.  相似文献

The lowest-lying glueballs are investigated in lattice QCD using N_f = 2 clover Wilson fermions on anisotropic lattices. We simulate at two different and relatively heavy quark masses, corresponding to physical pion masses of mπ~938 MeV and 650 MeV. The quark mass dependence of the glueball masses has not been investigated in the present study. Only the gluonic operators built from Wilson loops are utilized in calculating the corresponding correlation functions. In the tensor channel, we obtain the ground state mass to be 2.363(39) GeV and 2.384(67)GeV at mπ~938 MeV and 650 MeV, respectively. In the pseudoscalar channel, when using the gluonic operator whose continuum limit has the form of ∈_ijkTrB_iD_jB_k, we obtain the ground state mass to be 2.573(55) GeV and 2.585(65) GeV at the two pion masses. These results are compatible with the corresponding results in the quenched approximation. In contrast, if we use the topological charge density as field operators for the pseudoscalar, the masses of the lowest state are much lighter(around 1 GeV) and compatible with the expected masses of the flavor singlet qq meson. This indicates that the operator ∈ijk TrBiDjBk and the topological charge density couple rather differently to the glueball states and qq mesons. The observation of the light flavor singlet pseudoscalar meson can be viewed as the manifestation of effects of dynamical quarks. In the scalar channel, the ground state masses extracted from the correlation functions of gluonic operators are determined to be around 1.4-1.5 GeV, which is close to the ground state masses from the correlation functions of the quark bilinear operators. In all cases, the mixing between glueballs and conventional mesons remains to be further clarified in the future.  相似文献
