The tetraphenylimidodiphosphinate [N-(P,P-diphenylphosphinoyl)-P,P-diphenylphosphinimidate] ion forms stable tris-chelates with the Bi(III), In(III), and Ga(III) cations. The crystal and molecular structures of [M{(OPPh(2))(2)N}(3)] (M = Ga, In, Bi) were determined by X-ray diffractometry. The geometry around the bismuth atom in compound 3 displays an approximately C(3)(v)() symmetry. This arrangement suggests the presence of a stereoactive lone pair of electrons, which is located in one of the triangular octahedral faces. Derivative 3 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr; with Z = 2, a = 14.006(6) ?, b = 14.185(4) ?, c = 17.609(8) ?, alpha = 88.45(2) degrees, beta = 79.34(2) degrees, and gamma = 78.23(2) degrees. The structures of the gallium(III) and indium(III) tris-chelate oxygen-based complexes (1 and 2, respectively) were compared with the bismuth analogue in order to determine the ligand steric bulk influence on the coordination sphere in the absence of the electron lone pair. Complex 1 crystallizes as the [Ga{(OPPh(2))(2)N}(3)].CH(2)Cl(2) solvate in the triclinic space group P&onemacr;; Z = 2, a = 13.534(4) ?, b = 13.855(4) ?, c = 18.732(7) ?, alpha = 95.48(2) degrees, beta = 98.26(2) degrees, and gamma = 97.84(2) degrees. Crystal data for the benzene solvate of 2, [In{(OPPh(2))(2)N}(3)].C(6)H(6): triclinic space group P&onemacr;, Z = 2, a = 13.542(9) ?, b = 15.622(3) ?, c = 18.063(5) ?, alpha = 98.21(1) degrees, beta = 104.77(0) degrees, and gamma = 92.260(0) degrees.  相似文献

The reaction of N,N'-bis(trimethylsilyl)ethylenediamine with H(3)Al.NMe(3) gives products based on metalation (H(2) elimination), [{[CH(2)N(SiMe(3))](2)AlH}(2)] (1) and [{CH(2)N(SiMe(3))}(2)AlN(SiMe(3))CH(2)CH(2)N(H)SiMe(3)] (2), as well as products derived from N-Si bond cleavage and metalation, [{[CH(2)N(SiMe(3))](2)AlH}(2){HAlN(SiMe(3))CH(2)CH(2)NAlH(2)}] (4) and [H(2)Al{CH(2)N(SiMe(3))}(2)AlN(SiMe(3))CH(2)CH(2)NAl(H)(2).NMe(3)}] (5). Similarly, [Me(3)SiN(H)CH(2)CH(2)N(SiMe(3))AlCl(2)] (3) was isolated as the redistributed/metalated product from the reaction of the same diamine with H(2)Al(Cl).NMe(3). The following crystal data were obtained: (1) monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c (No. 14), a = 13.636(4) ?, b = 9.565(3) ?, c = 22.683(4) ?, beta = 105.67(2) degrees, Z = 4; (2) monoclinic, space group C2/c (No. 15), a = 31.887(3) ?, b = 10.145(6) ?, c = 17.718(3) ?, beta = 100.36(1) degrees, Z = 8; (3) triclinic, space group P&onemacr; (No. 2), a = 11.762(3) ?, b = 11.927(3) ?, c = 7.288(2) ?, alpha = 107.46(2) degrees, beta = 95.29(2) degrees, gamma = 110.41(2) degrees, Z = 2; (4) triclinic, space group P&onemacr; (No. 2), a = 13.884(4) ?, b = 15.379(4) ?, c = 11.044(2) ?, alpha = 102.11(2) degrees, beta = 103.85(2) degrees, gamma = 109.28(2) degrees, Z = 2; (5) triclinic, space group P&onemacr; (No. 2), a = 10.925(5) ?, b = 11.060(5) ?, c = 12.726(4) ?, alpha = 92.38(3) degrees, beta = 95.67(2) degrees, gamma = 96.90(2) degrees, Z = 2.  相似文献

The syntheses and crystal structures of the first cyanide, sulfur mixed ligand copper(I) complexes are reported. The first complex of the family was discovered when (CuCN)(3)(C(6)H(12)N(4))(2) (1) (C(6)H(12)N(4) = hexamethylenetetramine) was treated with aqueous thiourea. The sulfur ligands include thiourea (tu), 1,3-dimethyl-2-thiourea (dmtu), 1,3-diethyl-2-thiourea (detu), 1,1,3,3-tetramethyl-2-thiourea (tmtu), and 2-imidazolidinethione (N,N'-ethylenethiourea, etu). Synthesis was effected by adding the ligand to a solution of CuCN in aqueous sodium thiosulfate. Complex 2, (CuCN)(2)(tu)(3)(H(2)O), crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr;with unit cell dimensions a = 7.696(5) ?, b = 9.346(2) ?, c = 10.772(2) ?, alpha = 106.53(2) degrees, beta = 91.11(4) degrees, gamma = 98.42(3) degrees, and Z = 2. Complex 3, (CuCN)(3)(dmtu)(2), crystallizes in the monoclinic space group Cc with unit cell dimensions a = 10.082(3) ?, b = 14.984(5) ?, c = 11.413(3) ?, beta = 104.50(2) degrees, and Z = 4. Complex 4, (CuCN)(2)(detu)(H(2)O), crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with unit cell dimensions a = 7.969(5) ?, b = 11.559(4) ?, c = 13.736(5) ?, beta = 100.48(4) degrees, and Z = 4. Complex 5, (CuCN)(tmtu) (polymorph a), crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group P2(1)2(1)2(1) with unit cell dimensions a = 8.653(1) ?, b = 9.426(1) ?, c = 11.620(3) ?, and Z = 4. Complex 6, (CuCN)(tmtu) (polymorph b), which has the same connectivity as 5, crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr; with unit cell dimensions a = 9.660(4) ?, b = 14.202(4) ?, c = 16.03(1) ?, alpha = 101.68(5) degrees, beta = 107.08(6) degrees, gamma = 70.07(2) degrees, and Z = 8. The difference between the polymorphs is that 5 has a zig-zag chain with a repeat unit of two while 6 has a 4-fold helix. Complex 7, (CuCN)(2)(etu), crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)( )()with unit cell dimensions a = 3.994(2) ?, b = 13.886(3) ?, c = 7.556(1) ?, beta = 97.07(2) degrees, and Z = 2.  相似文献

The oxothio polyanions gamma-[SiW(10)M(2)S(2)O(38)](6)(-) (M = Mo(V), W(V)) were obtained through stereospecific addition of the dication [M(2)S(2)O(2)](2+) (M = Mo, W) to the divacant gamma-[SiW(10)O(36)](8)(-) anion in dimethylformamide. These compounds were isolated as crystals and are stable in usual organic solvents and in aqueous medium from pH = 1 to pH = 7. NEt(4)Cs(3)H(2)[SiW(10)Mo(2)S(2)O(38)].6H(2)O (a gamma-isomer derived from the alpha Keggin structure capped by the [Mo(2)S(2)O(2)](2+) fragment containing a metal-metal bond) crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr; with a = 12.050(3) ?, b = 12.695(2) ?, c = 20.111(4) ?, alpha = 74.35(2) degrees, beta = 86.83(2) degrees, gamma = 63.50(2) degrees, Z = 2. NEt(4)Cs(5)[SiW(12)S(2)O(38)].7H(2)O is isostructural and crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr; with a = 12.197(4) ?, b = 12.714(3) ?, c = 20.298(3) ?, alpha = 74.75(1) ?, beta = 86.48(2) degrees, gamma = 61.80(2) degrees, Z = 2. (183)W NMR spectra of Li(+) salts in aqueous solution agree with the solid state structures and reveal 100% purity for both anions. Polarographic, infrared and UV-vis data are also given.  相似文献

Reaction of 1,4-diisocyanobenzene or 4-isocyanobenzonitrile with trans-W(N(2))(2)(DPPE)(2) (DPPE = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane) produced cis-WL(2)(DPPE)(2), where L = 1,4-diisocyanobenzene or 4-isocyanobenzonitrile. cis-(CNC(6)H(4)NC)(2)W(DPPE)(2) crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr;, with a = 12.848(3) ?, b = 13.596(3) ?, c = 19.072(3) ?, alpha = 78.99(2) degrees, beta = 70.66(2) degrees, gamma = 65.26(2) degrees, V = 2849.8(11) ?(3), and Z = 2. cis-(NCC(6)H(4)NC)(2)W(DPPE)(2) crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr;, with a = 12.712(3) ?, b = 13.700(3) ?, c = 19.109(3) ?, alpha = 77.91(2) degrees, beta = 70.63(2) degrees, gamma = 64.76(2) degrees, V = 2830.7(13) ?(3), and Z = 2. Both compounds possess a distorted octahedral geometry about the metal center, with the two isocyanide ligands cis to one another. The isocyanide ligands are substantially bent along the CNC axis of the isocyanide group coordinated to tungsten. For the complex containing the symmetric ligand, CNC(6)H(4)NC, the mean CNC angle for the coordinated end of the isocyanide is 139.1(11) degrees, the average W-C bond length is 1.86(1) ?, and the C&tbd1;N bond lengths have a mean value of 1.30(2) ?. These data indicate substantial back-donation from an electron-saturated tungsten atom. This is supported spectroscopically, with substantial shifts to lower wavenumbers for the C-N stretching frequencies of the coordinated isocyanide groups. Similar trends are observed in cis-(NCC(6)H(4)NC)(2)W(DPPE)(2). Both compounds contain electron-rich metals surrounded by large ligands which apparently protect the metals from atmospheric oxidation. The isocyanide ligands in both complexes contain a second coordinating group pointing away from the metal into the environment surrounding the molecules, providing the potential for polymetallic complexes containing metals in a variety of oxidation states.  相似文献

Reaction of VO(acac)(2) with 2-mercaptophenol (mpH(2)) in the presence of triethylamine gives the mononuclear tris complex (Et(3)NH)(2)[V(mp)(3)] (1), in which the vanadyl oxygen has been displaced. An analogous reaction using 2-mercapto-4-methylphenol (mmpH(2)) afforded (Et(3)NH)(PNP)[V(mmp)(3)] (2), which was structurally characterized. 2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pna2(1 )with unit cell parameters (at -163 degrees C) a = 23.974(7) ?, b = 9.569(4) ?, c = 25.101(6) ?, and Z = 4. The coordination geometry around the vanadium is between octahedral and trigonal prismatic. Reaction of VO(acac)(2 )with the sodium salt of 2-mercaptophenol produces the vanadyl(IV) complex Na(Ph(4)P)[VO(mp)(2)].Et(2)O (3), which crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr; with unit cell parameters (at -135 degrees C) a = 12.185(4) ?, b = 12.658(4) ?, c = 14.244(4) ?, alpha = 103.19(2) degrees, beta = 100.84(2) degrees, and gamma = 114.17(2) degrees. The unit cell of 3 contains a pair of symmetry-related [VO(mp)(2)](2)(-) units bridged through vanadyl and ligand oxygen atoms by a pair of sodium ions, in addition to two PPh(4)(+) ions. The coordination geometry around the vanadium is square pyramidal, with a V=O bond length of 1.611(5) ?. 1, 2, and 3 are characterized by IR and UV-vis spectroscopies, magnetic susceptibility, EPR spectroscopy, and cyclic voltammetry. 1 and 2 can be oxidized by I(2, )Cp(2)Fe(+), or O(2) to [V(mp)(3)](-) and [V(mmp)(3)](-), respectively, which in turn can be reduced back to the dianions by oxalate ion. These reversible redox processes can be followed by UV-vis spectroscopy.  相似文献

The bis(diamine)palladium(II) cations (diamine = ethane-1,2-diamine, propane-1,3-diamine, or butane-1,4-diamine) all undergo condensation reactions with formaldehyde and nitroethane to produce macromonocycles where each pair of cis-disposed primary amines has been converted to a -NH-CH(2)-C(CH(3))(NO(2))-CH(2)-NH- strap. The 14-membered-ring macrocycle has been previously prepared by condensation around copper(II) and nickel(II), but this does not permit synthesis of the larger ring macrocycles. The macrocyclic complex (6,13-dimethyl-6, 13-dinitro-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane)palladium(II) perchlorate crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr;, a = 8.105(3) ?, b = 8.370(2) ?, c = 9.437(4) ?, alpha = 69.04(3) degrees, beta = 68.60(3), gamma = 71.53(3) degrees. Complexes of the 16- and 18-membered macrocycles (3,11-dimethyl-3,11-dinitro-1,5,9,13-tetraazacyclohexadecane)palladium(II) perchlorate and (3,12-dimethyl-3,12-dinitro-1,5,10,14-tetraaazacyclooctadecane)palladium(II) perchlorate crystallize in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, with a = 8.391(2) ?, b = 12.816(3) ?, c = 23.925(9) ?, and beta = 93.18(2) degrees, and the triclinic space group P&onemacr;, with a = 7.746(5) ?, b = 9.912(5) ?, c = 18.96(2) ?, alpha = 91.76(6) degrees, beta = 101.73(7) degrees, and gamma = 112.83(5) degrees respectively. The larger macrocycles are "swollen" by incorporating longer methylene chains, "swelling" leading to an increase in Pd-N distance and in tetrahedral distortion, with the dominant geometric isomer apparently changing with macrocycle size from anti-disposed nitro pendants (14-membered) to the syn isomer (16-, 18-membered). An irreversible Pd(II/IV) oxidation occurs at ca +1 V (vs Ag/AgCl), varying slightly with ring size, with a multi-electron nitro group reduction observed near -0.8 V in each case. Electronic spectra also vary slightly with ring size.  相似文献

The structures of five dicopper complexes of binucleating ligand HL-H (N,N,N',N'-tetrakis[(2-benzimidazolyl)methyl]-2-hydroxy-1,3-diaminopropane) with thiocyanate and some other counterions were investigated by the X-ray diffraction method. In Cu(2)(HL-H)(NCS)(2)Cl(2).6H(2)O.CH(3)OH, 1 (a = 12.524(5) ?, b = 14.429(4) ?, c = 16.343(3) ?, alpha = 109.01(2) degrees, beta = 92.62(2) degrees, gamma = 115.27(3) degrees, Z = 2, triclinic, P&onemacr;), one chloride is not coordinated. Distorted square pyramidal (SP) geometry is found for both CuN(3)ClN and CuN(3)ON coordination sites in which the N(3) tripodal coordination sites come from the two symmetric halves of HL-H and the other nitrogen atoms come from thiocyanate ions. In Cu(2)(HL-H)(NCS)(2)(ClO(4))(2).6H(2)O.2EtOH, 2 (a = 10.955(2) ?, b = 15.366(5) ?, c = 18.465(9) ?, alpha = 65.57(4) degrees, beta = 89.73(3) degrees, gamma = 79.81(2) degrees, Z = 2, triclinic, P&onemacr;), the coordination environments for the two copper ions are both CuN(3)ON. However, their geometries are different: one is distorted SP and the other is distorted trigonal bipyramid (TBP). In Cu(2)(HL-H)(NCS)(2)(ClO(4))(2)Cl.H(3)O.3.5H(2)O, 3 (a = 11.986(6) ?, b = 12.778(5) ?, c = 17.81(1) ?, alpha = 82.41(4) degrees, beta = 75.44(5) degrees, gamma = 78.46(4) degrees, Z = 2, triclinic, P&onemacr;), the chloride ion does not coordinate to copper ion, but it is hydrogen bonded to the hydroxy hydrogen. The coordination environments for the two copper ions are both CuN(3)ON with distorted SP geometries. In Cu(2)(HL-H)(NCS)Cl(3).6H(2)O, 4 (a = 12.026(5) ?, b = 14.369(6) ?, c = 16.430(6) ?, alpha = 111.64(3) degrees, beta = 90.51(4) degrees, gamma = 113.90(3) degrees, Z = 2, triclinic, P&onemacr;), one chloride does not coordinate. The coordination environments for the two copper ions are CuN(3)ON in severely distorted TBP geometry and CuN(3)Cl(2) in SP geometry. In Cu(2)(HL-H)(NCS)(3)OH.2H(2)O.3CH(3)OH.Et(2)O, 5 (a = 18.322(5) ?, b = 15.543(6) ?, c = 19.428(7) ?, beta = 102.78(3) degrees, Z = 4, monoclinic, P2(1)/c), the hydroxide ion does not coordinate. The coordination environments for the two copper ions are CuN(3)N(2) with a geometry inbetween SP and TBP but slightly closer to SP and CuN(3)ON in distorted SP geometry. The distances between the copper ions are in the range 4.45-7.99 ?, indicating negligible interaction between the copper ions. The hydroxy groups of HL-H in 1-5all coordinate to copper ions either in a terminal mode (in complexes 1, 4, and 5, denoted as OHR(t)) or in a bridging mode (in complexes 2 and 3, denoted as OHR(b)). These hydroxy groups do not lose their protons in all cases. All thiocyanate anions coordinate to copper ions through nitrogen atoms. All copper ions in 1-5 are pentacoordinated. The fact that the CuN(3) geometries of the tripodal coordination sites in HL-H do not allow the formation of a square planar complex, may be the driving force for the formation of pentacoordinated complexes. From the structurally known dicopper complexes of the HL-H type ligands, the relative coordinating abilities of ligands to CuN(3) are OHR(t) > NCS(-) > Cl(-)(t) > OHR(b) approximately Cl(-)(b), where the letters b and t in parentheses denote bridging and terminal coordination modes respectively.  相似文献

An attempt to synthesize a complex between copper(I) cyanide and thioacetamide (ta) by a direct combination in aqueous solution, surprisingly, produced instead Cu(4)(S(2)O(3))(2)(ta)(10).ta (1), a complex lacking cyanide but including thiosulfate. We know of no precedent for the production of thiosulfate from an aqueous solution of ta. Using a new synthetic approach, a complex of CuCN and ta was subsequently prepared-(CuCN)(ta), 2. In the new method, which has been found to be widely applicable to water-soluble ligands, CuCN is made "available" for coordination by dissolving it in aqueous sodium thiosulfate. Complex 1 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr; (No. 2) with unit cell dimensions a = 10.139(3) ?, b = 12.230(4) ?, c = 12.665(4) ?, alpha = 85.20(2) degrees, beta = 67.32(2) degrees, gamma = 68.47(2) degrees, V = 1345(2) ?(3), and Z = 2. Complex 2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pna2(1) (No. 33) with unit cell dimensions a = 6.993(9) ?, b = 8.744(3) ?, c = 9.372(6) ?, V = 573(1) ?(3), and Z = 4. Some possible pathways for the production of thiosulfate are discussed.  相似文献

Reaction of SnCl(2).dioxane with 2 equiv of Li(THF)(3)Si(SiMe(3))(3) in hexane afforded the cyclotetrastannane [(Me(3)Si)(3)SiSnCl](4) in reasonable yield. From pentane, the product crystallized as a red-orange disolvate in the P&onemacr; space group (triclinic) with a = 14.735(2) ?, b = 14.976(2) ?, c = 24.066(3) ?, alpha = 76.94 degrees, beta = 76.19 degrees, gamma = 62.11 degrees, V = 4517.5 ?(3), and Z = 2. The Sn(4) ring consisted of a slightly distorted, nonplanar (fold angle = 18.9 degrees ) rectangle with Sn-Sn distances of 2.8054(6), 2.8111(6), 2.9122(6), and 2.9146(6) ?. The pentane molecules were disordered. Selected mono- and dihalogermanes were treated with 1 equiv of Li(THF)(3)Si(SiMe(3))(3) or Li(THF)(2.5)Ge(SiMe(3))(3), affording (Me(3)Si)(3)EGe(CF(3))(3) (E = Si, Ge) and (Me(3)Si)(3)GeGeR(3) (R = Cl, CH(3), C(6)H(5)). Besides the monosubstitution product, the reaction of GeCl(4) with 1 equiv of Li(THF)(2.5)Ge(SiMe(3))(3) also gave a small amount of the linear tetragermane (Me(3)Si)(3)GeGeCl(2)GeCl(2)Ge(SiMe(3))(3). Good yields of the analogous phenyl derivative, (Me(3)Si)(3)GeGePh(2)GePh(2)Ge(SiMe(3))(3), were obtained by treating Ph(2)GeCl(2) with 2 equiv of the lithium-germyl reagent.  相似文献

The trinuclear complex (&mgr;(3)-CO(3))[Ni(3)(Medpt)(3)(NCS)(4)] was obtained by reaction of basic solutions of nickel(II), Medpt (bis(3aminopropyl)methylamine) and thiocyanate ligand with atmospheric CO(2) or by simple reaction with carbonate anion. (&mgr;(3)-CO(3))[Ni(3)(Medpt)(3)(NCS)(4)] crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P&onemacr;, with a = 12.107(5) ?, b = 12.535(7) ?, c = 16.169(9) ?, alpha = 102.69(5) degrees, beta = 92.91(5) degrees, gamma = 118.01(4) degrees, Z = 2, and R = 0.043. The three nickel atoms are asymmetrically bridged by one pentadentate carbonato ligand, which shows a novel coordination mode. The (&mgr;(3)-CO(3))[Ni(3)(Medpt)(3)(NCS)(4)] compound shows a very strong antiferromagnetic coupling. Fit as irregular triangular arrangement gave J(1) = -88.4, J(2) = -57.7, and J(3) = -9.6 cm(-)(1), which is the strongest AF coupling observed to date for Ni(3) compounds. The magnetic behavior of the carbonato bridge is discussed.  相似文献

All four of the compounds contain mixed-valence V(5+)/V(4+) vanadium oxide layers constructed from V(5+)O(4) tetrahedra and pairs of edge-sharing V(4+)O(5) square pyramids with protonated organic amines occupying the interlayer space.  相似文献

Comparisons of the spectroscopic properties of a number of Ru(III) complexes of imidazole ligands provide methods of distinguishing between various types of bonding that can occur in proteins and nucleic acids. In particular, EPR and (1)H NMR parameters arising from the paramagnetism of Ru(III) should aid in determining binding sites of Ru(III) drugs in macromolecules. Electrochemical studies on several imidazole complexes of ruthenium suggest that imidazole may serve as a significant pi-acceptor ligand in the presence of anionic ligands. Crystal structures are reported on two active immunosuppressant complexes. cis-[(Im)(2)(NH(3))(4)Ru(III)]Br(3) crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr; (No. 2) with the cell parameters a = 8.961(2) ?, b = 12.677(3) ?, c = 7.630(2) ?, alpha = 98.03(2) degrees, beta = 100.68(2) degrees, gamma = 81.59(2) degrees, and Z = 2 (R = 0.044). [(1MeIm)(6)Ru(II)]Cl(2).2H(2)O crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n (No. 14) with the cell parameters a = 7.994(2) ?, b = 13.173(4) ?, c = 14.904(2) ?, beta = 97.89(1) degrees, and Z = 2 (R = 0.052). NMR spectroscopic studies reveal that binding of Na(+) by tris(2-methoxyphenyl)amine (3) brings two of these tripod ethers together about the metal ion; the related double-tripod-ether ionophore 1,2-bis[2-(bis(2-methoxyphenyl)amino)phenoxy]ethane (4), in which two triarylamines are covalently attached, binds LiI, LiBPh(4), NaI, NaBPh(4), and KB(4-ClPh)(4). Dynamic NMR puts lower limits on binding free energies of 4 for Na(+) (71.8 kJ mol(-)(1)) and K(+) (66.8 kJ mol(-)(1)) ions. X-ray studies of 3(2).NaBPh(4), 4.NaBPh(4), 4.NaB(4-ClPh)(4), and 4.KB(4-ClPh)(4).CH(3)NO(2) show eight-coordinate M(+) ions bound between crystallographically independent, homochiral triarylamine tripod ethers in structures reminiscent of alkali metal [2.2.2] cryptates. Complexes crystallize as follows: 3(2).NaBPh(4), monoclinic, P2(1)/c, Z = 4, a = 10.701(3) ?, b = 37.593(3) ?, c = 13.774(2) ?, and beta = 98.24(2) degrees; 4.NaBPh(4), triclinic, P&onemacr;, Z = 2, a = 12.157(1) ?, b = 14.811(1) ?, c = 15.860(2) ?, alpha = 105.400(8) degrees, beta = 91.594(9) degrees, and gamma = 95.354(8) degrees; 4.NaB(4-ClPh)(4), monoclinic, P2(1)/n, Z = 4, a = 13.652(5) ?, b = 18.75(1) ?, c = 22.805(5) ?, and beta = 92.21(5) degrees; 4.KB(4-ClPh)(4).CH(3)NO(2), monoclinic, Pn, Z = 2, a = 13.663(4) ?, b = 12.228(3) ?, c = 18.712(8) ?, and beta = 91.45(3) degrees. They show variable N-M-N angles; 3(2).NaBPh(4) is surprisingly bent ( angleN-Na-N = 154.5 degrees ), while the 4.M(+) complexes are normal: nearly linear for Na(+) ( angleN-Na-N = 178.6, 178.1 degrees ) and again bent with the larger K(+) ( angleN-K-N = 164.5 degrees ). Finally, free 4 is structurally similar to 3; it crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr;, with Z = 2, a = 8.068(1) ?, b = 14.599(2) ?, c = 16.475(3) ?, alpha = 115.43(1) degrees, beta = 92.51(1) degrees, and gamma = 90.40(1) degrees.  相似文献

Reductive carbonylation of TaCl(5) in the presence of 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane (dppe) under the appropriate conditions results in the formation of TaCl(CO)(2)(dppe)(2) (1), as the major product, and the possibly cyclic oligomer [TaCl(CO)(2)(dppe)(2)](2)(x)() (2, 2x >/= 4) as a minor product. Carbonylation of 1 (1 atm) results in the rapid but reversible formation of TaCl(CO)(4)(dppe) (3). Solutions of all three compounds exhibit low levels of paramagnetism, possibly attributable to thermal population of low-lying triplet excited states. Two mixed-valence Mn(III)Mn(II) complexes and a homo-valence Mn(II) trinuclear manganese complex of stoichiometry Mn(III)Mn(II)Mn(III)(5-Cl-Hsaladhp)(2)(AcO)(4)(MeOH)(2).4CH(3)OH (1a), Mn(III)Mn(II)Mn(III) (Hsaladhp)(2)(AcO)(2)(5-Cl-Sal)(2)(thf)(2) (3a) and Mn(II)Mn(II)Mn(II) (AcO)(6)(pybim)(2) (1b) where H(3)saladhp is a tridentate Schiff base ligand and pybim a neutral bidentate donor ligand, have been structurally characterized by using X-ray crystallography. The structurally characterized mixed-valence complexes have strictly 180 degrees Mn(III)-Mn(II)-Mn(III) angles as required by crystallographic inversion symmetry. The complexes are valence trapped with two terminal Mn(III) ions showing Jahn-Teller distortion along the acetate or salicylate-Mn(III)-X axis. The Mn.Mn separation is 3.511 ? and 3.507 ? respectively. The mixed-valence complexes have S = (3)/(2) ground state and the homovalence complex S = (5)/(2), with small antiferromagnetic exchange J couplings, -5.6 and -1.8 cm(-1), respectively, while the powder ESR spectra at 4 K show a broad low field signal with g approximately 4.3 for Mn(III)Mn(II)Mn(III) and a broad temperature-dependent signal at g = 2 for Mn(II)Mn(II)Mn(II). New copper(II) intercalation compounds, {[Cu(CA)(H(2)O)(2)](G)}(n)() (H(2)CA = chloranilic acid; G = 2,5-dimethylpyrazine (dmpyz) (1a and 1b) and phenazine (phz) (2)) have been synthesized and characterized. 1acrystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr;, with a = 8.028(2) ?, b = 10.269(1) ?, c = 4.780(2) ?, alpha = 93.85(3) degrees, beta = 101.01(2) degrees, gamma = 90.04(3) degrees, and Z = 1. 1b crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr;, with a = 8.010(1) ?, b = 10.117(1) ?, c = 5.162(1) ?, alpha = 94.40(1) degrees, beta = 97.49(1) degrees, gamma = 112.64(1) degrees, and Z = 1. 2crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr;, with a = 8.071(1) ?, b = 11.266(1) ?, c = 4.991(1) ?, alpha = 97.80(1) degrees, beta = 99.58(1) degrees, gamma = 83.02(1) degrees, and Z = 1. For all the compounds, the crystal structures consist of one dimensional [Cu(CA)(H(2)O)(2)](m)() chains and uncoordinated guest molecules (G). Each copper atom for 1a, 1b, and 2 displays a six-coordinate geometry with the two bis-chelating CA(2)(-) anions and water molecules, providing an infinite, nearly coplanar linear chains running along the a-direction. Theses chains are linked by hydrogen bonds between the coordinated water and the oxygen atoms of CA(2)(-) on the adjacent chain, forming extended layers, which spread out along the ac-plane. The guest molecules are intercalated in between the {[Cu(CA)(H(2)O)(2)](k)()}(l)() layers, just like pillars, which are supported with N.H(2)O hydrogen bonding. The guest molecules are stacked each other with an interplanar distance of ca. 3.2 ? along the c-axis perpendicular to the [Cu(CA)(H(2)O)(2)](m)() chain. The EHMO band calculations of intercalated dmpyz and phz columns show an appreciable band dispersion of phz pi (b(2g) and b(3g)) and dmpyz pi (b(g)), indicative of the importance of planar pi structure for the formation of the intercalated structure. The distances of O-H---N (guest molecules) fall within the range 2.74-2.80 ?, insensitive to the guest, whereas the interlayer distances increase in the order 9.25 ? (1b), 10.24 ? (1a), and 11.03 ? (2). The degree in lengthening the distance correlates well with the size of a molecule, indicative of the stability of the 2-D sheet structure and the flexibility of the sheet packing. The magnetic susceptibilities were measured from 2 to 300 K and analyzed by a one-dimensional Heisenberg-exchange model to yield J = -1.83 cm(-)(1), g = 2.18 (1a), J = -0.39 cm(-)(1), g = 2.14 (1b), and J = -1.84 cm(-)(1), g = 2.18 (2). The absolute value of J is smaller than that value for [Cu(CA)](n)(), which has a planar ribbon structure suggesting that the magnetic orbital d(x)()()2(-)(y)()()2 is not parallel to the chloranilate plane. For comparison with phz another type of copper(II) coordination compound, {[Cu(CA)(H(2)O)](ohphz)}(n)() (ohphz = 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9-octahydrophenazine (7)) has also been obtained. 7 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Cmcm with a = 7.601(2) ?, b = 13.884(2) ?, c = 17.676(4) ?, and Z = 4. Nonplanar ohphz molecules are in between [Cu(CA)(H(2)O)(2)](m)() chains with the N.H(2)O hydrogen bonding in a fashion parallel to the chain direction. The copper atom shows a five-coordinate square-pyramidal configuration with two CA and one water molecule, thus affording no hydrogen bonding links between chains, dissimilar to 1a, 1b, and 2. The magnetic susceptibilities yield J = -10.93 cm(-)(1) and g = 2.00, comparable to that of the four-coordinate [Cu(CA)](n)(). On this basis both hydrogen bonding and stack capability of a guest molecule is responsible for building the unique intercalated structure such as is seen in 1a, 1b, and 2.  相似文献

The trinuclear manganese complex [Mn(3)O(4)(phen)(4)(H(2)O)(2)](NO(3))(4).2.5H(2)O, 1 (where, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), has been synthesized by the Ce(IV) oxidation of a concentrated solution of manganese(II) acetate and phen in 1.6 N nitric acid. The complex crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr; with a = 10.700(2) ?, b = 12.643(3) ?, c = 20.509(4) ?, alpha = 78.37(3) degrees, beta = 83.12(3) degrees, gamma = 82.50(3) degrees, and Z = 2. The structure was solved by direct methods and refined by least-squares techniques to the conventional R (R(w)) factors of 0.055 (0.076) based on 4609 unique reflections with F(o) >/= 6.0sigma(F(o)). The structure of the cation consists of an oxo-bridged Mn(3)O(4)(4+) core, with the geometry of the manganese atoms being octahedral. The coordination polyhedron of one of the manganese atoms (Mn(1)) consists of two &mgr; oxo ligands and two pairs of nitrogen atoms of two phen moieties, whereas that of each of the remaining two manganese atoms consists of three &mgr;-oxo ligands, two nitrogen atoms of a phen moiety, and the oxygen atom of a water molecule. The complex represents the second example for water coordination to manganese(IV) centers in complexes with a Mn(3)O(4)(4+) core. Optical spectra in ligand buffer (pH 4.5) reveal complete conversion of the complex into a Mn(III)Mn(IV) species. The observed room-temperature (298 K) magnetic moment of 3.75 &mgr;(B) indicates the presence of strong antiferromagnetic coupling in the complex.  相似文献

An example of a direct axial interaction of a platinum(II) atom with a Mo(2) core through a uniquely designed tridentate ligand 6-(diphenylphosphino)-2-pyridonate (abbreviated as pyphos) is described. Treatment of PtX(2)(pyphosH)(2) (2a, X = Cl; 2b, X = Br; 2c, X = I) with a 1:1 mixture of Mo(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(4) and [Mo(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)(NCCH(3))(6)](2+) (3a) in dichloromethane afforded the linear trinuclear complexes [Mo(2)PtX(2)(pyphos)(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2)](2) (4a, X = Cl; 4b, X = Br; 4c, X = I). The reaction of [Mo(2)(O(2)CCMe(3))(2)(NCCH(3))(4)](2+) (3b) with 2a-c in dichloromethane afforded the corresponding pivalato complexes [Mo(2)PtX(2)(pyphos)(2)(O(2)CCMe(3))(2)](2) (5a, X = Cl; 5b, X = Br; 5c, X = I), whose bonding nature is discussed on the basis of the data from Raman and electronic spectra as well as cyclic voltammograms. The linear trinuclear structures in 4b and 5a-c were confirmed by NMR studies and X-ray analyses: 4b, monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 34.733(4) ?, b = 17.81(1) ?, c = 22.530(5) ?, beta = 124.444(8) degrees, V = 11498(5) ?(3), Z = 8, R = 0.060 for 8659 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 588 parameters; 5a, triclinic, space group P&onemacr;, a = 13.541(3) ?, b = 17.029(3) ?, c = 12.896(3) ?, alpha = 101.20(2) degrees, beta = 117.00(1) degrees, gamma = 85.47(2) degrees, V = 2599(1) ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.050 for 8148 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 604 parameters; 5b, triclinic, space group P&onemacr;, a = 12.211(2) ?, b = 20.859(3) ?, c = 10.478(2) ?, alpha = 98.88(1) degrees, beta = 112.55(2) degrees, gamma = 84.56(1) degrees, V = 2433.3(8) ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.042 for 8935 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 560 parameters; 5c, monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n, a = 13.359(4) ?, b = 19.686(3) ?, c = 20.392(4) ?, beta = 107.92(2) degrees, V = 5101(2) ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.039 for 8432 reflections with I > 3sigma(I) and 560 parameters.  相似文献

Macrocyclic dicopper(II) complexes derived from 2,6-di(R)formylphenols and various linking diamines are surveyed and their magnetic and structural properties assessed. For those systems with "flat" dinuclear centers and no electronic perturbations associated with electron-withdrawing ligands or ligand groups, the complexes exhibit a "straight-line" relationship between exchange integral and phenoxide bridge angle. Within the angle range 98.8-104.7 degrees, 11 complexes are included with -2J in the range 689-902 cm(-)(1). When electron-withdrawing species are present, either as ligands or as groups bound to the macrocycle itself, considerable suppression of the antiferromagnetic exchange component is observed. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies are reported for three complexes. [Cu(2)(L1)(H(2)O)(2)]F(2)(CH(3)OH)(2) (1) crystallized in the triclinic system, space group P&onemacr;, with a = 8.1878(5) ?, b = 9.0346(7) ?, c = 10.4048(7) ?, alpha = 103.672(6) degrees, beta = 101.163(5) degrees, gamma = 104.017(5) degrees, and Z = 1. [Cu(2)(L2)Cl(2)] [Cu(2)(L2) (H(2)O)(2)]Cl(ClO(4)).5.5H(2)O (2) crystallized in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n, with a = 14.4305(5) ?, b = 24.3149(8) ?, c = 18.6584(8) ?, beta = 111.282(3) degrees, and Z = 4. [Cu(2)(L3)(H(2)O)(2)](BF(4))(2) (3) crystallized in the triclinic system, space group P&onemacr;, with a = 8.6127(4) ?, b = 8.6321(7) ?, c = 10.8430(10) ?, a = 74.390(10) degrees, beta = 86.050(10) degrees, gamma = 76.350(10) degrees, and Z = 2. Square pyramidal copper ion stereochemistries are observed in all cases, with axially coordinated halogens or water molecules. Strong antiferromagnetic exchange is observed for all complexes (-2J = 784(8) cm(-)(1), Cu-O-Cu 103.65(10) degrees (1); -2J = 801(11) cm(-)(1), Cu-O-Cu 102.4(3), 107.5(3), 102.9(3), 106.1(3) degrees (2); -2J = 689(3) cm(-)(1), Cu-O-Cu 98.8(4) degrees (3)). The presence of electron-withdrawing CN groups on the periphery of the macrocyclic ligand leads to substantially reduced antiferromagnetic exchange.  相似文献
