Contributions on the Bonding Behaviour of Oxygen in Inorganic Solids. III [1] Mn2P2O7, Mn2P4O12 und Mn2Si(P2O7)2 — Crystal Growth, Structure Refinements and Electronic Spectra of Manganese(II) Phosphates By chemical vapour transport reactions in a temperature gradient single crystals of Mn2P2O7 (1050 → 950 °C) and Mn2P4O12 (850 → 750 °C) have been obtained using P/I mixtures as transport agent. Mn2Si(P2O7)2 was crystallized by isothermal heating (850 °C, 8d; NH4Cl as mineralizer) of Mn2P4O12 und SiO2. In Mn2Si(P2O7)2 [C 2/c, a = 17.072(1)Å, b = 5.0450(4)Å, c = 12.3880(9)Å, β = 103.55(9)°, 1052 independent reflections, 97 variables, R1 = 0.023, wR2 = 0.061] the Mn2+ ions show compressed octahedral coordination (d¯Mn—O = 2.19Å). The mean distance d¯Mn—O = 2.18Å was found for the radially distorted octahedra [MnO6] in Mn2P4O12 [C 2/c, Z = 4, a = 12.065(1)Å, b = 8.468(1)Å, c = 10.170(1)Å, β = 119.29(1)°, 2811 independent reflections, 85 variables, R1 = 0.025, wR2 = 0.072]. Powder reflectance spectra of the three pink coloured manganese(II) phosphates have been measured. The spectra show clearly the influence of the low‐symmetry ligand fields around Mn2+. Observed d—d electronic transition energies and the results of calculations within the framework of the angular overlap model (AOM) are in good agreement. Bonding parameters for the manganese‐oxygen interaction in [Mn2+O6] chromophors as obtained from the AOM treatment (B, C, Trees correction α, eσ, eπ) are discussed.  相似文献

Structure and Magnetic Properties of Bis{3‐amino‐1,2,4‐triazolium(1+)}pentafluoromanganate(III): (3‐atriazH)2[MnF5] The crystal structure of (3‐atriazH)2[MnF5], space group P1, Z = 4, a = 8.007(1) Å, b = 11.390(1) Å, c = 12.788(1) Å, α = 85.19(1)°, β = 71.81(1)°, γ = 73.87(1)°, R = 0.034, is built by octahedral trans‐chain anions [MnF5]2– separated by the mono‐protonated organic amine cations. The [MnF6] octahedra are strongly elongated along the chain axis (<Mn–Fax> 2.135 Å, <Mn–Feq> 1.842 Å), mainly due to the Jahn‐Teller effect, the chains are kinked with an average bridge angle Mn–F–Mn = 139.3°. Below 66 K the compound shows 1D‐antiferromagnetism with an exchange energy of J/k = –10.8 K. 3D ordering is observed at TN = 9.0 K. In spite of the large inter‐chain separation of 8.2 Å a remarkable inter‐chain interaction with |J′/J| = 1.3 · 10–5 is observed, mediated probably by H‐bonds. That as well as the less favourable D/J ratio of 0.25 excludes the existence of a Haldene phase possible for Mn3+ (S = 2).  相似文献

Three new uranyl polyphosphates, α‐K[(UO2)(P3O9)] ( 1 ), β‐K[(UO2)(P3O9)] ( 2 ), and K[(UO2)2(P3O10)] ( 3 ), were prepared by high‐temperature solid‐state reactions. The crystal structures of the compounds have been solved by direct methods: 1 – monoclinic, P21/m, a = 8.497(1), b = 15.1150(1), c = 14.7890(1) Å, β = 91.911(5)°, V = 1898.3(3) Å3, Z = 4, R1 = 0.0734 for 4181 unique reflections with |F0| ≥ 4σF; 2 – monoclinic, P21/n, a = 8.607(1), b = 14.842(2), c = 14.951(1) Å, β = 95.829(5)°, V = 1900.0(4) Å3, Z = 4, R1 = 0.0787 for 3185 unique reflections with |F0| ≥ 4σF; 3 – Pbcn, a = 10.632(1), b = 10.325(1), c = 11.209(1) Å, V = 1230.5(2) Å3, Z = 4, R1 = 0.0364 for 1338 unique reflections with |F0| ≥ 4σF. In the structures of 1 and 2 , phosphate tetrahedra share corners to form infinite [PO3]? chains, whereas, in the structure of 3 , tetrahedra form linear [P3O10]5? trimers. The structures are based upon 3‐D frameworks of U and P polyhedra linked by sharing common O corners. The infinite [PO3]? chains in the structures of 1 and 2 are parallel to [100] and [–101], respectively. The uranyl polyphosphate frameworks are occupied by host K+ cations.  相似文献

Contributions on Crystal Chemistry and Thermal Behaviour of Anhydrous Phosphates. XXXIII [1] In2P2O7 an Indium(I)‐diphosphatoindate(III), and In4(P2O7)3 — Synthesis, Crystallization, and Crystal Structure Solid state reactions via the gas phase lead to the new mixed‐valence indium(I, III)‐diphosphate In2P2O7. Colourless single crystals of In2P2O7 have been grown by isothermal heating of stoichiometric amounts of InPO4 and InP (800 °C; 7d) using iodine as mineralizer. The structure of In2P2O7 [P21/c, a = 7.550(1) Å, b = 10.412(1) Å, c = 8.461(2) Å, b = 105.82(1)°, 2813 independent reflections, 101 parameter, R1 = 0.031, wR2 = 0.078] is the first example for an In+ cation in pure oxygen coordination. Observed distances d(InI‐O) are exceptionally long (dmin(InI‐O) = 2.82 Å) and support assumption of mainly s‐character for the lone‐pair at the In+ ion. Single crystals of In4(P2O7)3 were grown by chemical vapour transport experiments in a temperature gradient (1000 → 900 °C) using P/I mixtures as transport agent. In contrast to the isostructural diphosphates M4(P2O7)3 (M = V, Cr, Fe) monoclinic instead of orthorhombic symmetry has been found for In4(P2O7)3 [P21/a, a = 13.248(3) Å, b = 9.758(1) Å, c = 13.442(2) Å, b = 108.94(1)°, 7221 independent reflexes, 281 parameter, R1 = 0.027, wR2 = 0.067].  相似文献

The title compound, [Mn(C12H8N2)2(H2O)2](C4H4O4S)·[Mn(C4H4O4S)(C12H8N2)2]·13H2O, contains one dianion of thiodiglycolic acid (tdga2−) and two independent manganese(II) moieties, viz. [Mn(phen)2(H2O)2]2+ and [Mn(tdga)(phen)2], where phen is 1,10‐phenanthroline. The MnII atoms are octahedrally coordinated by four N atoms of two bidentate phen ligands [Mn—N = 2.240 (2)–2.3222 (19) Å] and either two water O atoms or two tdga carboxyl O atoms [Mn—O = 2.1214 (17)–2.1512 (17) Å]. The tdga ligand chelates as an O,O′‐bidentate ligand, forming an eight‐membered ring with one Mn atom. The free tdga2− dianion is hydrogen bonded to an [Mn(phen)2(H2O)2]2+ ion, with O⋯O distances of 2.606 (2) and 2.649 (2) Å. The crystal structure is further stabilized by an extensive network of hydrogen bonds involving 13 water molecules.  相似文献

Structures with AIB2? and BaAl4?type Units. I The Compounds Sr4Pd5P5 and Sr2Pd3P3 Sr4Pd5P5 (Cmcm, a = 4.177(1) Å, b = 31.377(5) Å, c = 8.581(2) Å, Z = 4) und Sr2 Pd3P3(Pmmm, a = 4.199(1) Å, b = 4.212(1) Å, c = 34.227(4) Å, Z = 4) have been prepared by heating the elements. Both structures contain exclusively units characteristic for the AIB2? and BaAl4?type. The ratio between isolated P-atoms and P2?pairs is interpreted with an ionic splitting of the formulas.  相似文献

Complex formation of 2, 6‐bis(2′‐hydroxyphenyl)pyridine (H2Li) with Fe3+ and Cu2+ was investigated in a H2O/DMSO medium (mole fraction xDMSO = 0.2) by potentiometric and spectrophotometric methods. The pKa values of [H3Li]+ are 2.25, 10.51 and 14.0 (25 °C, 0.1 M KCl). The formation constants of [FeIII(Li)]+ and [CuII(Li)] (25 °C, 0.1 M KCl) are log β1 = 21.5 for Fe3+ and log β1 = 18.5 for Cu2+. The crystal structures of [Al(Li)2Na(EtOH)3], [Fe(Li)2Na(EtOH)3], and [Cu(Li)(py)]2 were investigated by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analyses. The FeIII and the AlIII compound are isotypic and crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21/n. Al‐compound (215 K): a = 12.599(3) Å, b = 16.653(3) Å, c = 17.525(4) Å, β = 100.27(3)°, Z = 4 for C40H40AlN2NaO7; Fe‐compound (293 K): a = 12.753(3) Å, b = 16.715(3) Å, c = 17.493(3) Å, β = 99.68(3)°, Z = 4 for C40H40FeN2NaO7. Both compounds contain a homoleptic, anionic bis‐complex [M(Li)2] of approximate D2 symmetry. The Cu compound crystallized as an uncharged, dinuclear and centrosymmetric [Cu(Li)(py)]2 complex in the monoclinic space group P21/n with (293 K) a = 13.386(3) Å, b = 9.368(2) Å, c = 14.656(3) Å, β = 100.65(3)°, Z = 2 for C44H32Cu2N4O4. The structural properties and in particular the possible influence of the ligand geometry on the stability of the metal complexes is discussed.  相似文献

Pseudo‐Isomerism by Different Jahn‐Teller Ordering: Crystal Structures of the Hemihydrate and the Monohydrate of (pyH)[MnF(H2PO4)(HPO4)] With pyridinium counter cations (pyH+) the MnIII fluoride phosphate anion [MnF(H2PO4)(HPO4)] can be stabilized. It forms a chain structure with Mn3+ ions bridged by a fluoride ion and two bidentate phosphate groups. Under sleightly differing conditions either the hemihydrate (pyH)[MnF(H2PO4)(HPO4)]·0.5H2O ( 1 ) or the monohydrate (pyH)[MnF(H2PO4)(HPO4)]·H2O ( 2 ) is formed. The hemihydrate 1 crystallizes monoclinic in space group P21/n, Z = 8, a = 7.295(1), b = 17.052(2), c = 18.512(3) Å, β = 100.78(1)°, R = 0.033, the monohydrate triclinic in space group P1¯, Z = 2, a = 7.374(1), b = 8.628(1), c = 10.329(1) Å, α = 83.658(8)°, β = 77.833(9)°, γ = 68.544(8)°, R = 0.025. Whereas the topology of the chain anions is identical in both structures, the Jahn‐Teller effect is expressed in different ordering patterns: in 1 antiferrodistortive ordering of [MnF2O4] octahedra is observed, with alternating elongation of an F—Mn—F‐axis or a O—Mn—O‐axis, respectively. This leads to asymmetrical Mn—F—Mn‐bridges. In 2 ferrodistortive ordering is found, with elongation of all octahedra along the F—Mn—F‐axis. Thus, symmetrical bridges are formed with long Mn—F distances. This unusual pseudo‐isomerism is attributed to the differing influence of inter‐chain hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The crystal structure of [Mn(HIDA)2(H2O)2] (Tetragonal, P4¯21c (no.114), a = b = 8.10(2)Å, c = 9.605(3)Å, α = β = γ = 90°, Z = 2, R = 0.051, wR2 = 0.123 for 460 observed reflections) consists of infinite acentric 2D square grids with HIDA ions as bridging ligands. The 2D grids are interlocked(along the c axis) by hydrogen bonding. The Mn atoms are octahedrally coordinated by four O atoms of four HIDA ions (d(Mn—O)= 2.183(4)Å ) and two O atoms of two water molecules (d(Mn—OW) = 2.154(5)Å ). The results show that this acentric coordination polymer exhibits strong powder second harmonic generation (SHG) efficiency, ca. 1.9 times that of potassium dihydrogen phosphate, and remarkable thermal stability.  相似文献

A Contribution to Rhenium(II)‐, Osmium(II)‐, and Technetium(II)‐Thionitrosyl‐Complexes: Preparation, Structures, and EPR‐Spectra The reaction of [ReVINCl4] and [OsVINCl4] with S2Cl2 leads to the formation of the thionitrosyl complexes [MII(NS)Cl4] (M = Re, Os) which could not be isolated as pure compounds. Addition of pyridine to the reaction mixture results in the formation of the stable compounds trans‐(Ph4P)[OsII(NS)Cl4py], trans‐(Hpy)[OsII(NS)Cl4py], trans‐(Ph4P)[ReII(NS)Cl4py], and cis‐(Ph4P)[ReII(NS)Cl4py]. The crystal structure analyses show for trans‐(Ph4P)[OsII(NS)Cl4py] (monoclinic, P21/n, a = 12.430(3)Å, b = 18.320(4)Å, c = 15.000(3)Å, β = 114.20(3)°, Z = 4), trans‐(Hpy)[OsII(NS)Cl4py] (monoclinic, P21/n, a = 7.689(1)Å, b = 10.202(2)Å, c = 20.485(5)Å, β = 92.878(4)°, Z = 4), trans‐(Ph4P)[ReII(NS)Cl4py] (triclinic, P1¯, a = 9.331(5)Å, b = 12.068(5)Å, c = 15.411(5)Å, α = 105.25(1)°, β = 90.23(1)°, γ = 91.62(1)°, Z = 2), and cis‐(Ph4P)[ReII(NS)Cl4py] (monoclinic, P21/c, a = 10.361(1)Å, b = 16.091(2)Å, c = 17.835(2)Å, β = 90.524(2)°, Z = 4) M‐N‐S angles in the range 168‐175°. This indicates a nearly linear coordination of the NS ligand. The metal atom is octahedrally coordinated in all cases. The rhenium(II) thionitrosyl complexes (5d5 “low‐spin” configuration, S = 1/2) are studied by EPR in the temperature range 295 > T > 130 K. In addition to the detection of the complexes formed during the reaction of [ReVINCl4] with S2Cl2 EPR investigations on diamagnetically diluted powders and single crystals of the system (Ph4P)[ReII/OsII(NS)Cl4py] are reported. The 185, 187Re hyperfine parameters are used to get information about the spin‐density distribution of the unpaired electron in the complexes under study. [TcVINCl4] reacts with S2Cl2 under formation of [TcII(NS)Cl4] which is not stable and decomposes under S8 elimination and rebuilding of [TcVINCl4] as found by EPR monitoring of the reaction.  相似文献

Molecules of 2‐(2‐nitrophenylaminocarbonyl)benzoic acid, C14H10N2O5, are linked into centrosymmetric R(8) dimers by a single O—H⋯O hydrogen bond [H⋯O = 1.78 Å, O⋯O = 2.623 (2) Å and O—H⋯O = 178°] and these dimers are linked into sheets by a single aromatic π–π stacking interaction. The isomeric compound 2‐(4‐nitrophenylaminocarbonyl)benzoic acid crystallizes in two polymorphic forms. In the orthorhombic form (space group P212121 with Z′ = 1, crystallized from ethanol), the molecules are linked into sheets of R(22) rings by a combination of one N—H⋯O hydrogen bond [H⋯O = 1.96 Å, N⋯O = 2.833 (3) Å and N—H⋯O = 171°] and one O—H⋯O hydrogen bond [H⋯O = 1.78 Å, O⋯O = 2.614 (3) Å and O—H⋯O = 173°]. In the monoclinic form (space group P21/n with Z′ = 2, crystallized from acetone), the molecules are linked by a combination of two N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds [H⋯O = 2.09 and 2.16 Å, N⋯O = 2.873 (4) and 2.902 (3) Å, and N—H⋯O = 147 and 141°] and two O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds [H⋯O = 1.84 and 1.83 Å, O⋯O = 2.664 (3) and 2.666 (3) Å, and O—H⋯O = 166 and 174°] into sheets of some complexity. These sheets are linked into a three‐dimensional framework by a single C—H⋯O hydrogen bond [H⋯O = 2.45 Å, C⋯O = 3.355 (4) Å and C—H⋯O = 160°].  相似文献

The blue tetranuclear CuII complexes {[Cu(bpy)(OH)]4Cl2}Cl2 · 6 H2O ( 1 ) and {[Cu(phen)(OH)]4(H2O)2}Cl4 · 4 H2O ( 2 ) were synthesized and characterized by single crystal X‐ray diffraction. ( 1 ): P 1 (no. 2), a = 9.240(1) Å, b = 10.366(2) Å, c = 12.973(2) Å, α = 85.76(1)°, β = 75.94(1)°, γ = 72.94(1)°, V = 1152.2(4) Å3, Z = 1; ( 2 ): P 1 (no. 2), a = 9.770(3) Å, b = 10.118(3) Å, c = 14.258(4) Å, α = 83.72(2)°, β = 70.31(1)°, γ = 70.63(1)°, V = 1252.0(9) Å3, Z = 1. The building units are centrosymmetric tetranuclear {[Cu(bpy)(OH)]4Cl2}2+ and {[Cu(phen)(OH)]4(H2O)2}4+ complex cations formed by condensation of four elongated square pyramids CuN2(OH)2Lap with the apical ligands Lap = Cl, H2O, OH. The resulting [Cu42‐OH)23‐OH)2] core has the shape of a zigzag band of three Cu2(OH)2 squares. The cations exhibit intramolecular and intermolecular π‐π stacking interactions and the latter form 2D layers with the non‐bonded Cl anions and H2O molecules in between (bond lengths: Cu–N = 1.995–2.038 Å; Cu–O = 1.927–1.982 Å; Cu–Clap = 2.563; Cu–Oap(OH) = 2.334–2.369 Å; Cu–Oap(H2O) = 2.256 Å). The Cu…Cu distances of about 2.93 Å do not indicate direct interactions, but the strongly reduced magnetic moment of about 2.74 B.M. corresponds with only two unpaired electrons per formula unit of 1 (1.37 B.M./Cu) and obviously results from intramolecular spin couplings (χm(T‐θ) = 0.933 cm3 · mol–1 · K with θ = –0.7 K).  相似文献

Er3Pd7P4 — Crystal Structure Determination and Extended Hückel Calculations Er3Pd7P4 was prepared by heating the elements (1050°C) and investigated by means of single-crystal X-ray methods. The compound crystallizes in a new structure (C2/m; a = 15.180(3) Å, b = 3.955(1) Å, c = 9.320(1) Å, β = 125,65(1)°; Z = 2) with a three-dimensional framework of Pd and P atoms and with Er atoms in the holes. The Pd atoms are surrounded tetrahedrally, trigonally or linearly by P atoms, which are coordinated by nine metal atoms in the form of a tricapped trigonal prism. Therefore the atomic arrangement of Er3Pd7P4 is related to the structures of ternary transition metal phosphides with a metal: phosphorus ratio of 2:1. Band calculations using the Extended Hückel method show strong covalent Pd? P bonds and weak bonding interactions between Pd atoms with Pd? Pd distances shorter than 2.9 Å.  相似文献

In the title compound, C8H12N+·C8HN4O2, the anion and cation lie on a crystallographic mirror plane and form planar ribbons via N—H⋯O [N⋯O = 2.933 (4) Å, H⋯O = 2.01 Å and N—H⋯O = 170°] and N—H⋯N [N⋯N = 3.016 (5) Å, H⋯N = 2.15 Å and N—H⋯N = 169°] hydrogen bonds. The ribbons are further linked via weak C—H⋯O and C—H⋯N hydrogen bonds. In adjacent planes, anions lie opposite cations; π–π interactions (separation a/2 = 3.520 Å) exist between the anions and the cations, and stacks are formed, running along the a axis. The cations are disordered over two interpenetrating sites, with occupancies of 0.833 (5) and 0.167 (5).  相似文献

Reaction of MnSO4 · H2O, 2,2′‐bipyridine (bpy), suberic acid and Na2CO3 in CH3OH/H2O yielded a mixture of [Mn2(H2O)4(bpy)2(C8H12O4)2] · 2 H2O ( 1 ) and [Mn(H2O)2‐ (bpy)(C8H12O4)2/2] · H2O ( 2 ). In both complexes, the Mn atoms are octahedrally coordinated by two N atoms of one bpy ligand and four O atoms of two trans positioned H2O molecules and two suberato ligands (d(Mn–O) = 2.107–2.328 Å; d(Mn–N) = 2.250–2.330 Å). The bis‐monodentate suberato ligands bridge Mn atoms to form dinuclear [Mn2(H2O)4(bpy)2(C8H12O4)2] complex molecules in 1 and 1D [Mn(H2O)2(bpy)(C8H12O4)2/2] chains in 2 . Via the intermolecular hydrogen bondings and π‐π stacking interactions, the dinuclear molecules in 1 are assembled into 2D networks parallel to (100), between which the crystal H2O molecules are sandwiched. The polymeric chains in 2 are linked together by interchain hydrogen bonding and π‐π stacking interactions into 3D networks with the crystal H2O molecules located in tunnels along [010]. Crystal data for 1 : P21/c (no. 14), a = 10.092(1) Å, b = 11.916(2) Å, c = 17.296(2) Å, β = 93.41(1)° and Z = 2. Crystal data for 2 : P21/c (no. 14), a = 11.176(2) Å, b = 9.688(1) Å, c = 37.842(6) Å, β = 90.06(1)° and Z = 8.  相似文献
