An a priori study based on direct numerical simulation (DNS) of a non-isothermal turbulent plane jet has been carried out in order to analyse the role of the small-scales of turbulence on thermal radiation. Filtered DNS and large eddy simulation (LES) without subgrid-scale (SGS) model have been estimated for the radiative heat transfer. The comparison of the results highlights the subgrid-scale influence over the filtered radiation quantities, such as the radiative intensity and the radiative emission. The influence of the optical thickness is also studied. It is shown that the subgrid-scales are not significant near the centerline of the jet, where the radiative heat transfer is more important, and therefore that the SGS can be neglected in this configuration. However, when the optical thickness increases, the SGS become relevant and SGS modeling may be needed.  相似文献

以高超声速表面湍流控制为应用背景,平板/粗糙元干扰流动为模型,采用大涡模拟方法研究粗糙元流场干扰作用机理.分析粗糙元外形特征对于流动稳定性影响,给出其引起的流动表面参数的变化规律.结果显示超声速边界层在粗糙元作用下产生强逆压梯度并发生分离,粗糙元高度对高位自由剪切层失稳有明显影响,低粗糙元干扰下游流动稳定性,而高粗糙元剪切层发生流向失稳,形成涡串结构;同时粗糙元干扰导致下游摩阻和热流系数较平板略低,可能应用在进气道降热和减阻中.  相似文献

用光学湍流参数自动测量系统对内陆地区和沿海地区光学湍流内外尺度进行了大量的实验观测。分析了湍流尺度的日变化规律,给出了其频数分布。结果表明:两地内尺度的均值为十几mm,外尺度的均值约为2 m;内陆地区内尺度日变化趋势较为复杂,而外尺度的日变化趋势与湍流强度十分相似;沿海地区内外尺度与湍流强度均无明显关系。大气湍流尺度的大小和分布状态是随时间和空间变化的,因此,在估算实际大气湍流对光学系统的影响时,需要实测湍流尺度以便得到准确的结果。  相似文献

A submerged turbulent plane jet in shallow water impinging vertically onto the free surface will produce a large-scale flapping motion when the jet exit velocity is larger than a critical one. The flapping phenomenon is verified in this paper through a large eddy simulation where the free surface is modeled by volume of fluid approach. The quantitative results for flapping jet are found to be in good agreement with available experimental data in terms of mean velocity, flapping-induced velocity and turbulence intensity. Results show that the flapping motion is a new flow pattern with characteristic flapping frequency for submerged turbulent plane jets, the mean centerline velocity decay is considerably faster than that of the stable impinging jet without flapping motion, and the flapping-induced velocities are as important as the turbulent fluctuations.  相似文献

以XLPE高压电力电缆内外侧绝缘中的电树枝特性为研究对象,通过分析电树枝引发与生长的统计实验规律和采用扫描电子显微镜分析发现,由于不同结晶状态的影响,电缆绝缘内外侧的电树枝特性存在很大的差异.引发于绝缘内侧电树枝引发时间短、生长速度快、电树枝形状具有多样性;起始于绝缘外侧的电树枝不仅引发时间长、生长速度极慢,而且电树枝形状(结构)比较单一.并对这两个位置电树枝的引发和生长机理进行了探讨. 关键词: 电树枝 结晶状态 统计规律 内侧和外侧绝缘层  相似文献

This study assesses the hypothesis of incomplete similarity for a plane turbulent wall jet on smooth and transitionally rough surfaces. Typically, a wall jet is considered to consist of two regions: an inner layer and an outer layer. The degree to which these two regions reach equilibrium with each other and interact to produce the property of self-similarity remains an open question. In this study, the analysis of the outer and inner regions indicates that each region is characterised by a half-width which exhibits its own distinct dependence on the streamwise distance x from the slot, and a single self-similar structure for both regions does not exist. More specifically, the inner and outer layers of the wall jet exhibit different scaling laws, which results in two self-similar mean velocity profiles, both of which retain a dependence on the slot height H. As such, incomplete similarity of the wall jet on smooth and transitionally rough surfaces is confirmed by this study. In addition, comparison of the experimental results for the transitionally rough surface with the smooth wall case indicates that the surface roughness modifies the development of the mean velocity profile in both the inner and outer regions, although the effect on the outer region is relatively small and close to the experimental uncertainty.  相似文献

A new synchronization technique of inner and outer couplings is proposed in this work to investigate the synchronization of network group. Some Haken–Lorenz lasers with chaos behaviors are taken as the nodes to construct a few nearest neighbor complex networks and those sub-networks are also connected to form a network group. The effective node controllers are designed based on Lyapunov function and the complete synchronization among the sub-networks is realized perfectly under inner and outer couplings. The work is of potential applications in the cooperation output of lasers and the communication network.  相似文献

We conduct a series of large eddy simulations (LES) of turbulent boundary layers over arrays of cuboidal roughness elements at arbitrary orientation angles (non-frontal orientations with the incident flow). Flow response to changing roughness orientation is systematically studied at two ground coverage densities, λp = 0.06 and 0.11. As expected, the effective roughness heights zo measured from LES are higher for λp = 0.11 than for λp = 0.06, although appreciable changes both in zo and wall shear stress (friction velocity) are observed at both ground coverage densities as the roughness orientation angle changes. This suggests the necessity of accounting for detailed rough wall topology (including more information than just λp, λf) when relating rough wall morphology to its aerodynamic properties. To this end, a recently developed analytical rough wall parameterisation is used to predict the aerodynamic properties of the simulated rough surfaces. In this rough wall model, wake interactions among roughness elements are explicitly modelled using the concept of sheltering height and exponential attenuation coefficient. As a result, the parameterisation is responsive to detailed ground roughness arrangements and flow conditions, including roughness height variations, element orientation, incident flow direction, transverse displacements, etc. Model-predicted effective roughness heights, wall stress, mean velocity at the height of the roughness, and in some cases displacement height, are compared against the LES measurements from this study as well as numerical/experiment measurements from other authors. The predictions from the model are found to agree well with the measurements both in trends and in absolute values, thus extending the applicability of the analytical rough wall model to more general surfaces than those previously tested.  相似文献

Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) data on high pressure H2/O2 and H2/air flames using the compressible flow formulation, detailed kinetics, a real fluid equation of state, and generalised diffusion are analysed. The DNS is filtered over a range of filter widths to provide exact terms in the Large Eddy Simulation (LES) governing equations, including unclosed terms. The filtered pressure and the filtered heat flux vector are extensively compared with the pressure and the heat flux vector calculated as a function of the filtered primitive variables (i.e. the exact LES term is compared with its form available within an actual LES). The difference between these forms defines the subgrid pressure and the subgrid heat flux vector. The analyses are done both globally across the entire flame, as well as by conditionally averaging over specific regions of the flame; including regions of large subgrid kinetic energy, subgrid scalar dissipation, subgrid temperature variance, flame temperature, etc. In this work, although negligible for purely mixing cases, the gradient of the subgrid pressure is shown to be of the same order as, and larger than, the corresponding divergence of the turbulent subgrid stresses for reacting cases. This is despite the fact that all species behave essentially as ideal gases for this flame and holds true even when the ideal gas law is used to calculate the pressure. The ratio of the subgrid pressure gradient to the subgrid stress tensor divergence is shown to increase with increasing Reynolds number. Both the subgrid heat flux vector and its divergence are found to be substantially larger in reacting flows in comparison with mixing due to the associated larger temperature gradients. However, the divergence of the subgrid heat flux vector tends to be significantly smaller than other unclosed terms in the energy equation with decreasing significance with increasing Reynolds number.  相似文献

We present an experimental investigation and data analysis of a turbulent boundary layer flow at a significant adverse pressure gradient at Reynolds number up to Reθ = 10, 000. We combine large-scale particle image velocimetry (PIV) with microscopic PIV for measuring the near wall region including the viscous sublayer. We investigate scaling laws for the mean velocity and for the total shear stress in the inner part of the boundary layer. In the inner part the mean velocity can be fitted by a log-law. In the outer part of the inner layer the log-law ceases to be valid. Instead, a modified log-law provides a good fit, which is given in terms of the pressure gradient parameter and a parameter for the mean inertial effects. Finally we describe and assess a simple quantitative model for the total shear stress distribution which is local in wall-normal direction without streamwise history effects.  相似文献

A turbulent piloted jet flame subject to a rapid velocity pulse in its fuel jet inflow is proposed as a new benchmark case for the study of turbulent combustion models. In this work, we perform modelling studies of this turbulent pulsed jet flame and focus on the predictions of its flow and turbulence fields. An advanced modelling strategy combining the large eddy simulation (LES) and the probability density function (PDF) methods is employed to model the turbulent pulsed jet flame. Characteristics of the velocity measurements are analysed to produce a time-dependent inflow condition that can be fed into the simulations. The effect of the uncertainty in the inflow turbulence intensity is investigated and is found to be very small. A method of specifying the inflow turbulence boundary condition for the simulations of the pulsed jet flame is assessed. The strategies for validating LES of statistically transient flames are discussed, and a new framework is developed consisting of different averaging strategies and a bootstrap method for constructing confidence intervals. Parametric studies are performed to examine the sensitivity of the predictions of the flow and turbulence fields to model and numerical parameters. A direct comparison of the predicted and measured time series of the axial velocity demonstrates a satisfactory prediction of the flow and turbulence fields of the pulsed jet flame by the employed modelling methods.  相似文献

本文利用分子动力学模拟方法对相同初始沉积条件下的单个Cu原子和Cu13团簇与Fe(001)表面的相互作用分别进行了模拟研究, 并将两者的模拟结果进行了比较分析. 单个Cu原子和Cu13团簇的初始入射能量范围均为1eV/atom、3eV/atom、5eV/atom和10eV/atom, 初始入射角度均为0o、10o、30o和45o, 衬底温度分别为100K、300K和800K. 对单个Cu原子和Cu13团簇的原子动能、质心高度、迁移距离和最终沉积形貌进行了分析, 对比研究了相同初始沉积条件下单个Cu原子和Cu13团簇在沉积过程中和沉积效果上的具体差异. 模拟结果表明: 单个Cu原子和Cu13团簇与Fe(001)表面的相互作用机制存在差异, Cu13团簇表现出显著的集体效应. 在特定沉积条件下, 由于Cu13团簇的集体效应, 导致Cu13团簇与Fe(001)表面的结合能力和在Fe(001)表面上的扩散能力均强于单个Cu原子.  相似文献
