A new flow injection chemiluminescence (CL) method is proposed for the determination of thiamine, based upon its enhancing effect on the CL reaction of luminol with hydrogen peroxide in alkaline solution. The method allows the determination of thiamine within 0.05-8 mug ml(-1) range with a detection limit (3sigma) of 0.01 mug ml(-1). The relative standard deviation is 1.4% (n=11, 0.5 mug ml(-1) thiamine) and the sample throughput is about 90 samples h(-1). The method was successfully applied to the determination of thiamine in pharmaceutical preparations.  相似文献

A simple procedure for selective sorption of tungsten is described. The method involves reduction of W(VI) to W(V) with tin(II) chloride (2%, w/v) at 8-9M hydrochloric acid, formation of the W(V)-SCN complex with 0.2M KSCN and its sorption on polyurethane foam within 20 min. The sorbed complex is then eluted with acidified acetone (1 ml of 1M hydrochloric acid and 8 ml of acetone) followed by addition of 1 ml of 0.1M KSCN to the eluent. The method has been applied to the spectrophotometric determination of tungsten in steels and silicates by measuring the absorbance of the eluted solution at 400 nm. Beer's law is obeyed for the range 0.1-12 mug W/ml. Other elements, e.g., Co(III) (50 mug/ml), Cu(II) (10 mug/ml), Ti(IV) (20 mug/ml), V(V) (10 mug/ml) and Mo(VI) (0.5 mug/ml) have no effect on the method. Interference of copper, up to 100 mug/ml has been eliminated by masking with thiourea and that due to molybdenum by prior separation with thioglycollic acid on PUF. The method has been verified with standard samples.  相似文献

The technique of automatic continuous addition of reagent has been applied for the determination of zineb in pesticides. The method is based on photometric monitoring of the fast complexation reaction between zinc(II) and Zincon. The special feature of the technique is the direct kinetic measurement, which provides a highly selective determination of zineb at mug/ml levels. The sampling rate of 140 samples/hr makes the method very useful in routine analysis for this pesticide in vine and olive leaves.  相似文献

A method is proposed for the simultaneous determination of copper and nickel by third-derivative spectrophotometry based on the absorption spectra of their complexes with cyanide ion in the ultraviolet range. The method allows the determination of 0.55-5.8 mug/ml of copper and 0.55-6.8 mug/ml of nickel. The relative standard deviation for 11 determinations of 1.5 mul/ml of copper and nickel were 0.78 and 0.72%, respectively. The detection limits were 0.10,mug/ml for nickel and 0.13 mug/ml for copper. The method has been applied to direct determination of copper and nickel in iron alloys and an aluminium alloy without any separation.  相似文献

A spectrophotometric method for the determination of lactic acid in milk samples based on the use of a photochemical reaction carried out in a Flow Injection System is proposed. Determination is based on the reaction between lactic acid and Fe(III), which is reduced to Fe(II) in the presence of UV light, being the latter made to react with o-phenanthroline. The complex formed between Fe(II) and o-phenanthroline, Fe(o-phen)(3)(2+) (ferroin) is a coloured compound and it can be spectrophotometrically monitored at 512 nm. The method shows a linear range between 0.5 and 50 mug ml(-1) with a limit of detection of 0.16 mug ml(-1). The precision was +/-2.15 expressed as relative standard deviation (n=11) and the sample throughput of 30 samples h(-1). Also non-linear adjustments have been made and validated by ANOVA. The proposed method has been applied to the determination of lactic acid in both synthetic and milk samples.  相似文献

Small amounts of perrhenate in fairly concentrated sulphuric acid media and in the presence of tin(II) chloride are found to catalyse the acid hydrolysis of alpha-furildioxime, with production of a new absorption peak at 320 nm, due to the di-alpha-furildiketone produced. The catalytically active species is a sulphate complex of rhenium(IV). The catalytic action of rhenium is promoted by citric acid. Rhenium can be determined in the range 0.0005-0.5 mug/ml. Interferences are eliminated by a preliminary extraction. The method has been applied to the determination of rhenium in copper concentrates of low rhenium content, copper ores and rocks. On the basis of the inhibitory effect of molybdenum the reaction can be used for determination of this element as well.  相似文献

A new kinetic method for determination of selenium is based on its inhibitory effect on the Pd(II)-catalysed reaction between Pyronine G and hypophosphite. Under the optimum experimental conditions (6 x 10(-5)M Pyronine G, 0.4M hypophosphite, 0.4 mug/ml Pd(II), pH 2.8, temperature 22.0 +/- 0.2 degrees ), Se can be determined in the concentration range 0.033-0.50 mug/ml. The method suffers from numerous interferences and is thus limited in application. It has been applied to the determination of selenium in spring waters and pharmaceutical preparations.  相似文献

A simple and sensitive spectrophotometric method for determination of copper(II) is based on the formation of a blue coloured complex of Cu(II) with 9-phenyl-2,3,7-trihydroxy-6-fluorone (PF) in the presence of cetylpyridinium chloride (CP) and Triton X-100, has been developed. Optimum concentrations of PF, CP, Triton X-100 and pH ensuring maximum absorbance were defined. The complex Cu(II)-PF-CP-Triton X-100 shows maximum absorbance at 595 nm with a molar absorptivity value of 9.67x10(4) l mol(-1) cm(-1). The detection limit of the method is 0.028 mug ml(-1). Beer's law is obeyed for copper concentrations in the range 0.04-0.4 mug ml(-1). The studies of the effect of foreign ions on determination of copper, show that the selectivity of the method is poor. The cations of alkali metals and anions Br(-), Cl(-), I(-), F(-), NO(2)(-), NO(3)(-), CH(3)COO(-), SO(4)(2-), S(2)O(3)(2-), PO(4)(3-), citrates (examined in 1000-fold molar excess over copper) do not affect the determination. All cations forming complexes with PF have an interfering effect. The statistical evaluation of the method was carried out for six determinations using 10 mug of Cu and the following results were obtained: the standard deviation, SD=0.042, the confidence interval mu(95)=10.1+/-0.1 mug Cu. The method has been applied for determination of copper in blood serum.  相似文献

A new flow injection on-line adsorption preconcentration system adapted to flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) for copper determination at the mug l(-1) level was developed. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) turnings packed in a mini-column were used as sorbent material. The copper ammonium pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate (APDC) complex was sorbed on the PTFE turnings, from which it could be eluted on-line instantly by isobutyl methyl ketone (IBMK) into the flame at a flow rate of 2.3 ml min(-1). The system was optimized and offered good performance characteristics with practically unlimited life time, greater flow rates and improved flexibility, as compared with other sorbent materials and the knotted reactor preconcentration systems. With 1 min preconcentration time, and a sample frequency of 40 h(-1), the enhancement factor was 340, which could be further improved by increasing the preconcentration time. The detection limit was c(L)=0.05 mug l(-1), and the precision was 1.5%, at the 2.0 mug l(-1) Cu level. The method has been applied successfully to the analysis of potable, river and seawater, and its accuracy was tested by the analysis of certified reference materials and by recovery measurements on spiked samples. No significant interferences exist from other substances usually occurring in natural water.  相似文献

A simple and sensitive field detection and spectrophotometric method for determination of copper described herewith is based on the formation of a red coloured species of copper(II) with 1-[pyridyl-(2)-azo]-naphthol-(2) (PAN), TX-100 and N,N'-diphenylbenzamidine (DPBA) at pH range 7.8-9.4. The red coloured Cu(II)-PAN-(TX-100)-DPBA complex in chloroform shows maximum absorbance at 520 nm with molar absorptivity value of 1.14x10(5) l mol(-1) cm(-1). The detection limit of the method is 2 ng ml(-1) organic phase. The system obeys Beer's law up to 0.6 mug Cu(II) ml(-1) in organic solution. Most of the common metal ions generally found associated with copper do not interfere. The repeatability of the method was checked by finding relative standard deviation (RSD) (n=10) value for solutions each containing 0.2 mug ml(-1) of Cu(II) and the RSD value of the method was found to be 1.5%. The validity of the method has been satisfactorily examined for the determination of copper in soil and airborne dust particulate samples.  相似文献

The proposed method is based on the exchange reaction between the complex of copper(II) with 4,7-dimethyl-2-thiol-2-thion-1,3,2-dioxophosphorinan (DOPh(III)) in toluene and an aqueous solution of silver(I). The decrease in the absorbance of the Cu(DOPh(III))(2) solution is proportional to the silver(I) concentration for 5-90 mug of silver in 5 ml of toluene extract and 5-30 mug in 10 ml of toluene extract. The method is applied to the determination of silver in copper concentrates and ores.  相似文献

A highly sensitive spectrofluorimetric method for the determination of some drugs of the monosubstituted guanidine derivatives in laboratory made tablets, in spiked human serum and in urine samples is presented. The method is based on the reaction of guanethidine sulphate (I), guanoxan sulphate (II) and amiloride hydrochloride (III) with 9,10-phenanthraquinone (IV) to give highly fluorescent derivatives. The linearity ranges were found to be 0.06-0.96 mug/ml for (I) and (II) and 0.04-0.28 mug/ml for (III), with relative standard deviation less than 2%. Mean percentage recoveries for tablets were found to be 99.9 +/- 1.3, 100.5 +/- 1.1 and 100.0 +/- 1.6 for I, II and III, respectively. For I and III the results are highly correlated with the B.P. methods. Using the synchronous fluorimetry, differentiation between I and II was possible. Chloroform, dichloromethane and ethyl acetate have been used to extract I, II and III, respectively from serum and urine at basic pH, followed by applying the proposed fluorimetric method. Percentage recoveries were found to be 95.7-102.2%. The limit of detection is 0.04 mug/ml for I and II and 0.02 mug/ml for III.  相似文献

An automated procedure for the photochemical determination of epinephrine and L-dopa has been developed. It is based on the strong inhibition by these catecholamines on the photochemical reaction between phloxin and ethylenediaminetetraacetic. The proposed flow-injection method allows the fluorimetric determination of epinephrine in the range 1.9-26.4 mug/ml and of L-dopa in the range of 1.5-12.7 mug/ml, with a sampling frequency of 35 samples/hr. The method was applied successfully to the determination of body catecholamines in pharmaceutical preparations.  相似文献

The chemiluminescence produced by oxidation of thiamine by ferricyanide in alkaline medium has been investigated by using a simple continuous flow analyser and a procedure developed for the determination of thiamine hydrochloride or nitrate in the range 2.00 x 10(-5)-5.00 x 10(-4)M (equivalent to 6.75-169 mug/ml thiamine hydrochloride) with coefficients of variation <2%. A measurement rate of 112/hr can be obtained. When applied to pharmaceutical formulations, the only interferent among common excipients and coexisting drugs is ascorbic acid. The results obtained for the assay of dosage forms compared well with those obtained by an official method and demonstrated an error <4%.  相似文献

The synthesis and analytical properties of dimedone bisguanylhydrazone (DIBG) are described for the first time. DIBG is oxidized by aerial oxygen and the reaction is catalysed by copper(II). The catalytic effect of copper(II) is increased by the presence of pyridine. Kinetic methods are described for determining trace amounts of copper(II) and pyridine. The reaction is followed spectrophotometrically by measuring the rate of change of absorbance at 550 nm. The calibration graphs are linear in the range 0.6-9.5 mug for copper(II) and 0.2-8.8 mg for pyridine. The methods have been applied to the determination of copper in galena and of pyridine in piperidine and isoamyl alcohol. The kinetic parameters of the reaction have been determined.  相似文献

A reversed phase ion-paired chromatographic method that can be used to determine trace amounts of iron (II,III), nickel (II) and copper (II) was developed and applied to the determination of iron (II) and iron (III) levels in natural water. The separation of these metal ions as their 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (bathophenanthroline) chelates on an Inertsil ODS column was investigated by using acetonitrile-water (80/20, v/v) containing 0.06 M perchloric acid as mobile phase and diode array spectrophotometric detection at 250-650 nm. Chromatographic parameters such as composition of mobile phase and concentration of perchloric acid in mobile phase were optimized. The calibration graphs of iron (II), nickel (II) and copper (II) ions were linear (r > 0.991) in the concentration range 0-0.5, 0-2.0 and 0-4.0 mug ml(-1), respectively. The detection limit of iron (II), nickel (II) and copper (II) were 2.67, 5.42 and 18.2 ng ml(-1) with relative standard deviation (n = 5) of 3.11, 5.81 and 7.16% at a concentration level of 10 ng ml(-1) for iron (II) and nickel (II) and 25 ng ml(-1) for copper (II), respectively. The proposed method was applied to the determination of iron(II) and iron(III) in tap water and sea water samples without any interference from other common metal ions.  相似文献

A new chromogenic reagent tribromocarboxyarsenazo has been synthesized and the chromogenic reaction of this reagent with zirconium studied. In the medium of 0.5 mol/1 HCl, a blue complex is formed by the reaction of zirconium with tribromocarboxyarsenazo. The maximum absorption of the complex is at 633 nm, and the apparent molar absorptivity is 4.8 x 10(4) 1/mol/cm. Beer's law is obeyed over the zirconium concentration range 0-18, mug/25 ml. The method has been applied to the determination of zirconium in aluminum, copper and magnesium alloys with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Two methods for the determination of iron by normal FIA and reversed FIA were developed using sodium 3-(2-pyridyl)-5,6-diphenyl-1,2,4-triazine-4',4'-disulphonate (ferrozine). The reagent formed a chelate with Fe(II) in hexamethylentetramine buffered medium at pH 5.5. In one previous reaction coil Fe(III) was reduced to Fe(II) by ascorbic acid and in the other reaction coil the complexation reaction was developed. The linear range of the determination was 0.5-6 and 0.1-5 mug ml(-1) of iron for normal FIA and reversed FIA respectively. The proposed method was sensitive (detection limit 0.012 and 0.010 mug ml(-1)), rapid and reproducible (RSD 0.3 and 0.28%). The method was satisfactorily applied to the determination of iron in waste water, toadstool tissue, potato leaves, human hair and bauxites at a sampling rate of 90 and 50 samples h(-1) for normal FIA and reversed FIA respectively.  相似文献

A simple, selective and accurate spectrophotometric method for determination of trace copper with diethyldithiocarbamate(DDTC) in the presence of beta-cyclodextrin(beta-CD) in ammonia media has been developed. The apparent molar absorptivity of Cu(II)-DDTC-beta-CD inclusion complex is 1.3 x 10(4) 1 . mole(-1) . cm(-1) at 436 nm, and Beer's law is obeyed for copper in the range 0-150 mug/25 ml. The detection limit is 4.38 x 10(-7)M(S/N = 3). The proposed method has been successfully applied to the determination of copper in aluminium alloys, soils, millet, wheat flour, herbs, vegetables and some traditional Chinese herbal medicines with satisfactory results.  相似文献
