Chloroselenates(IV): Synthesis, Structure, and Properties of [As(C6H5)4]2Se2Cl10 and [As(C6H5)4]Se2Cl9 The Se2Cl102? and Se2Cl9? anions were prepared, as the first dinuclear haloselenates(IV), from the reaction of (SeCl4)4 with stoichiometric quantities of chloride ions in POCl3 solutions; they were isolated as yellow crystalline As(C6H5)4+ salts. Complete X-ray structural analyses at ?130°C of [As(C6H5)4]2Se2Cl10 ( 1 ) (space group P1 , a = 10.296(7), b = 11.271(6), c = 12.375(8) Å, = 74.17(5)°, α = 81.38(5)°, β = 67.69(4)°, V = 1276 Å3) and of [As(C6H5)4]Se2Cl9 ( 2 ) (space group P21/n, a = 12.397(5), b = 17.492(6), c = 14.235(4) Å, α 93.25(3)°, V = 3082 Å3) show in both cases two distorted octahedral SeCl6 groups connected through a common edge in 1 and a common face in 2 . The terminal Se? Cl bonds (average 2.317 Å in 1 , 2.223 Å in 2 ) are much shorter than the Se? Cl bridges (av. 2.661 Å in 1 , 2.652 Å in 2 ). The stereochemical activity of the SeIV lone electron pair causes severe distortion of the central Se2Cl2 ring in the centrosymmetric Se2Cl102? ion. The vibrational spectra of the anions are reported.  相似文献

Chalcogenohalogenogallates(III) and -indates(III): A New Class of Compounds for Elements of the Third Main Group. Preparation and Structure of [Ph4P]2[In2SX6], [Et4N]3[In3E3Cl6] · MeCN and [Et4N]3[Ga3S3Cl6] · THF (X = Cl, Br; E = S, Se) [In2SCl6]2?, [In2SBr6]2?, [In3S3Cl6]3?, [In3Se3Cl6]3?, and [Ga3S3Cl6]3? were synthesised as the first known chalcogenohalogeno anions of main group 3 elements. [Ph4P]2[In2SCl6] ( 1 ) (P1 ; a = 10.876(4) Å, b = 12.711(6) Å, c = 19.634(7) Å, α = 107.21(3)°, β = 96.80(3)°, γ = 109.78(3)°; Z = 2) and [Ph4P]2[In2SBr6] ( 2 ) (C2/c; a = 48.290(9) Å, b = 11.974(4) Å, c = 17.188(5) Å, β = 93.57(3)°, Z = 8) were prepared by reaction of InX3, (CH3)3SiSSi(CH3)3 and Ph4PX (X = Cl, Br) in acetonitrile. The reaction of MCl3 (M = Ga, In) with Et4NSH/Et4NSeH in acetonitrile gave [Et4N]3[In3S3Cl6] · MeCN ( 3 ) (P21/c; a = 17.328(4) Å, b = 12.694(3) Å, c = 21.409(4) Å, β = 112.18(1)°, Z = 4), [Et4N]3[In3Se3Cl6] · MeCN ( 4 ) (P21/c; a = 17.460(4) Å, b = 12.816(2) Å, c = 21.513(4) Å, β = 112.16(2)°, Z = 4), and [Et4N]3[Ga3S3Cl6] · THF ( 5 ) (P21/n; a = 11.967(3) Å, b = 23.404(9) Å, c = 16.260(3) Å, β = 90.75(2)°, Z = 4). The [In2SX6]2? anions (X = Cl, Br) in 1 and 2 consist of two InSX3 tetrahedra sharing a common sulfur atom. The frameworks of 3, 4 and 5 each contain a six-membered ring of alternating metal and chalcogen atoms. Two terminal chlorine atoms complete a distorted tetrahedral coordination sphere around each metal atom.  相似文献

The structure of the compound has been characterized by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction method (a = 10.690(3) Å, b = 15.035(5) Å, c = 25.847(8) Å, V = 4154(2) Å3, Z = 4, space group P212121, R = 0.0651). Cluster anions [Re6Se8(CN)6]4? in the complex are connected with Cu2+ cations by cyano bridges resulting in zigzag chains. Coordination environment of cations is completed by ethylenediamine molecules. Additionally each cluster anion is coordinated by one terminal fragment {Cu(H2O)0.5(en)2}.  相似文献

Chloro- and Polyselenoselenates(II): Synthesis, Structure, and Properties of [Ph3(C2H4OH)P]2[SeCl4] · MeCN, [Ph4P]2[Se2Cl6], and [Ph4P]2[Se(Se5)2] By symproportionation of elemental selenium and SeCl4 in polar protic solvents the novel chloroselenates(+II), [SeCl4]2? and [Se2Cl6]2?, could be stabilized; they were crystallized with voluminous organic cations. They were characterized from complete X-ray structure analysis. Yellow-orange [Ph3(C2H4OH)P]2[SeCl4] · MeCN (space group P1 , a = 10.535(4), b = 12.204(5), c = 16.845(6) Å, α = 77.09(3)°, β = 76.40(3)°, γ = 82.75(3)° at 140 K) contains in its crystal structure monomeric [SeCl4]2? anions with square-planar coordination of Se(+II). The mean Se? Cl bond length is 2.441 Å. In yellow [Ph4P]2[Se2Cl6] (space group P1 , a = 10.269(3), b = 10.836(4), c = 10.872(3) Å, α = 80.26(3)°, β = 79.84(2)°, γ = 72.21(3)° at 140 K) a dinuclear centrosymmetric [Se2Cl6]2? anion, also with square-planar coordinated Se(+II), is observed. The average terminal and bridging Se? Cl bond distances are 2.273 and 2.680 Å, respectively. From redox reactions of elemental Se with boranate/thiolate in ethanol/DMF the bis(pentaselenido)selenate(+II) anion [Se(Se5)2]2? was prepared as a novel type of a mixed-valent chalcogenide. In dark-red-brown [Ph4P]2[Se(Se5)2] (space group P21/n, a = 12.748(4), b = 14.659(5), c = 14.036(5) Å, β = 108.53(3)° at 140 K) centrosymmetric molecular [Se(Se5)2]2? anions with square-planar coordination of the central Se(+II) by two bidentate pentaselenide ligands is observed (mean Se? Se bond lengths: 2.658 Å at Se(+II), 2.322 Å in [Se5]2?). The resulting six-membered chelate rings with chair conformation are spirocyclically linked through the central Se(+II). The vibrational spectra of the new anions are reported.  相似文献

By means of X-ray diffraction the chain structure of [Cu(l-Arg)2]Hg2Cl6 (monoclinic, a = 10.2348(9) Å, b = 9.1386(7) Å, c = 14.8521(14) Å, β = 97.455(11)°, space group P21) is established. The chains are formed by square-planar [Cu(l-Arg)2]2+ cations of the type trans-[Cu(N)2(O)2] (l-Arg is the zwitter-ion of arginine; Cu-N 1.992 Å and 1.938(6) Å, Cu-O 1.953 Å and 1.967(4) Å) that are bonded to two adjacent binuclear [Cl2Hg(μ-Cl)2HgCl2]2? ions through its clorine atoms Cl (Hg-Cl bonds are within 2.34–2.78 Å). With these two additional Cu…Cl contacts Cu adopts the geometry of an elongated octahedron with two apical Cl (Cu-Cl 2.961 Å and 3.064(3) Å).  相似文献

Octahedro-hexatungsten octadecachloride, W6Cl18, is soluble in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). Brownish black crystals of W6Cl18(DMSO)4 are formed from the brown solution by evaporation of DMSO under dynamic vacuum. The compound crystallizes monoclinically in the space group P21/n (no. 14) with a = 10.420 Å, b = 9.271 Å, c = 20.828 Å, β = 91.10° and Z = 2. The crystal structure is formed by isolated cluster molecules [W6Cl]Cl of the hexameric tungsten trichloride and DMSO molecules. It is the first hierarchical variant of the tetragonal BaAl4 type of structure where all atoms of the intermetallic phase are substituted by neutral molecules. The mean bond lengths are d(W–W) = 2.878 Å, d(W–Cli) = 2.391 Å and d(W–Cla) = 2.447 Å. They will be discussed in relation to analogous clusters. The two crystallographically independent DMSO molecules (d(S–O) = 1.53–1.55 Å, d(S–C) = 1.65–1.78 Å) form a 3 D net of condensed < 4864 > dodecahedra which envelopes the clusters.  相似文献

Compounds consisting of both cluster cations and cluster anions of the composition [(M6X12)(EtOH)6][(Mo6Cl8)Cl4X2] · n EtOH · m Et2O (M = Nb, Ta; X = Cl, Br) have been prepared by the reaction of (M6X12)X2 · 6 EtOH with (Mo6Cl8)Cl4. IR data are given for three compounds. The structures of [(Nb6Cl12)(EtOH)6][(Mo6Cl8)Cl6] · 3 EtOH · 3 Et2O 1 and [(Ta6Cl12)(EtOH)6][(Mo6Cl8)Cl6] · 6 EtOH 2 have been solved in the triclinic space group P1 (No. 2). Crystal data: 1 , a = 10.641(2) Å, b = 13.947(2) Å, c = 15.460(3) Å, α = 65.71(2)°, β = 73.61(2)°, γ = 85.11(2)°, V = 2005.1(8) Å3 and Z = 1; 2 , a = 11.218(2) Å, b = 12.723(3) Å, c = 14.134(3) Å, α = 108.06(2)°, β = 101.13(2)°, γ = 91.18(2)°, V = 1874.8(7) Å3 and Z = 1. Both structures are built of octahedral [(M6Cl12)(EtOH)6]2+ cluster cations and [(Mo6Cl8)Cl6]2– cluster anions, forming distorted CsCl structure types. The Nb–Nb and Ta–Ta bond lengths of 2.904 Å and 2.872 Å (mean values), respectively, are rather short, indicating weak M–O bonds. All O atoms of coordinated EtOH molecules are involved in H bridges. The Mo–Mo distances of 2.603 Å and 2.609 Å (on average) are characteristic for the [(Mo6Cl8)Cl6]2– anion, but there is a clear correlation between the number of hydrogen bridges to the terminal Cl and the corresponding Mo–Cl distances.  相似文献

A series of paramagnetic clusters of the composition [(Ta6Cl12)Cl(H2O)5][HgX4] · 9H2)O (X = Cl, Br, I) has been prepared by the reaction of [Ta6Cl12]3+ methanol-water solutions with HgX2 and NaX halides. The structure of [(Ta6Cl12)Cl(H2O)5][HgBr4] · 9H2O has been solved by X-ray diffraction in the cubic space group Fd 3m. Crystal data: a = 20.036(2) Å, V = 8043.0(1) Å3, Z = 8, R = 0.048 (Rw = 0.051). The structure is composed of an octahedral [(Ta6Cl12)Cl(H2O)5]2+ cluster cation, tetrahedral [HgBr4]2− anion and crystal water molecules. The 2mm symmetry of the octahedron is reduced by the statistical distribution of the five water molecules, O(1), and chlorine, Cl(2), at the terminal coordination sites. Thus, the distances Ta-O(1) and Ta-Cl(2) are averaged to the value of 2.32(2) Å. The Ta-Ta and Ta-Cl(1) bond distances are 2.911(1) Å and 2.440(3) Å, respectively, whereas the Hg-Br bond distance is 2.564(3) Å. The cluster [(Ta6Cl12)Cl(H2O)5][HgBr4] · 9H2O is semiconducting with two levels governing conductivity with respective activation energies, Eal = 0.24 eV and Ea2 = 0.17 eV.  相似文献

The reaction of K4[Re6Sei8(OH)a6] · 8H2O with NaN3 in water results in the formation of [Re6Sei8(N3)a]4– units that crystallize with K+ and H2O to form K4[Re6Sei8(N3)a6] · 4H2O [P21/c (N°14), a = 9.0595(3) Å, b = 13.2457(4) Å, c = 13.2040(5) Å, β = 94.472(1)°]. In the solid state, the unit is characterized by N3 linear groups forming bond angles of roughly 120° with the Re6 cluster. The positions of the νas and νsy bands as well as N–N–N deformation modes of the N3 groups are discussed. Luminescence properties of the [Re6Sei8(N3)a]4– unit were measured in the solid state and in an acetonitrile solution. The redox potential of the [Re6Sei8(N3)a]4–/[Re6Sei8(N3)a]3– system was measured in acetonitrile. Experimental results were analyzed in the light of density functional theory calculations.  相似文献

Relativistic time-dependent density functional (TDDFT) calculations including spin-orbit interactions via the zero order regular approximation (ZORA) and solvent effects are carried out on the [Re6?x Os x Se8Cl6](4?x)? (x = 0–3) cluster. These calculations indicate that the lowest energy electronic transitions of the MMCT and LMCT type are similar to those observed in strongly luminescent 24-electron hexanuclear rhenium chalcogenide clusters [Re6Se8Cl6]4?. Thus our calculations predict that [Re6?x Os x Se8Cl6](4?x)? (x = 0–3) clusters could be luminescent.  相似文献

The crystals of I (a = 21.8745(14) Å, b = 10.6008(6) Å, c=15.4465(12) Å, space group Pna21) consist of tris(ethylenediamine)cobalt(III) complexes (the unit cell contains two [Co(En)3]3+ cations of opposite chirality). [Hg2(H2O)Cl6]2? anions, and isolated chloride ions. The complex anion consists of the tetrahedral [HgCl4]2? group (Hg-Cl, 2.44–2.56 Å) and the hydrated molecule [Hg(H2O)Cl2] (Hg-Cl, 2.301 and 2.308 Å; Hg-O, 2.788 Å) combined by weak Hg-Cl interactions (2.915 and 3.220 Å).  相似文献

The reaction of Cs4[Re6Te8(CN)6]·2H2O with Cu(en)2Cl2 in water affords crystals of a cluster complex [{Cu(H2O)(en)2}{Cu(en)2}Re6Te8(CN)6]·3H2O. The structure of the compound is determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction (a = 10.8082(4) Å, b = 16.5404(6) Å, c = 24.6480(7) Å, β = 92.696(1)°, V = 4401.5(3) Å3, Z = 4, space group P21/n, R 1 = 0.0331, wR 2 (all data) = 0.0652). In the complex, cluster [Re6Te8(CN)6]4? anions are linked by Cu2+ cations into zigzag chains through cyanide bridges. Capability of [ReIII(tu-S)6]Cl3, where tu = thiourea, as a precursor to other ReIII complexes by ligand substitution in aqueous medium is studied. For the decomposition of [Re(tu-S)6]Cl3, experiments suggest pseudo first order kinetics and observed rate constants vary from 1.3 × 10–2 to 9.6 × 10–2 min–1 in the pH range 2.80–5.04. Experiments in presence of incoming ligand (ethylendiaminetetraacetic acid or diethylentriaminepentaacetic acid) show that ligand substitution is significantly slower than decomposition of the precursor, even when pH and temperature are modified. Similar results were obtained working with [ReIII(Metu-S)6]Cl3, where Metu = N-methylthiourea. Molecular structure of [ReIII(Metu-S)6](PF6)3 · H2O was determined by single crystal X-ray diffractometry. The coordination polyhedron around the Re ion is a distorted octahedron. The six methylthiourea ligands are bonded to the metal through the sulfur atoms [bond lengths range from 2.409(2) to 2.451(2) Å].  相似文献

On Chalcogenide Halogenides of Rhenium: Synthesis and Crystal Structures of the Triangular Clusters Re3E7X7 (E = S, Se; X = Cl, Br) The compounds Re3E7X7 are obtained from rhenium tetrahalides ReX4, elemental chalcogens and the respective chalcogen halides E2X2 or SeX4 (E = S, Se; X = Cl, Br). Re3S7Cl7, Re3S7Br7 and Re3Se7Br7 are formed in solutions of sulfur or selenium halides or SiBr4 in form of black crystals and crystallize isotypically in the trigonal space group P31c. Re3Se7Cl7 is formed by solid state reaction of ReCl4, Se and SeCl4 or by thermal decomposition of Se4[ReCl6], crystallizing as red, in thin layers transparent crystals in the orthorhombic space group Pbcm. The crystal structures consist of discrete positively charged cluster units and halide ions according to the formula [Re33-E)(μ2-E2)3X6]+X. In the rhenium triangular clusters the Re–Re distances range from 269,0 to 270,4 pm for the sulfur and from 273,3 to 275,3 pm for the selenium containing compounds. The Re3 units are capped by chalcogen atoms, three E2 groups form bridges over the edges of the Re3 triangles. The trigonal and the orthorhombic structure type show differences in the site symmetry of the clusters (C3 vs. Cs) and in the stacking sequence of the molecules, which are packed in the motif of a closest packing of spheres.  相似文献

Platinum(IV) complexes of the tetramine type [PtEnPy2X2]X2 · H2O (X = Cl, Br) have been found to lose a coordinated pyridine molecule at 125–135°C, thereby transforming into triamines [PtEnPyX3]X. The complex [PtEnPyCl3]NO3 has been isolated. Dissolution of the product of [PtEnPy2Cl2]Cl2 chlorination in HCl results in complete destruction of the five-membered chelate ring. The complex [Pt(NH3)2Py2Cl2](NO3)2 has been isolated. A number of compounds have been studied by X-ray diffraction: [PtEnPy2Cl2]Cl2 · 2H2O (I) (monoclinic, space group P21/c, a = 15.418(2) Å, b = 9.203(1) Å, c = 13.762(3) Å, β = 104.18(2)°, Z = 4, R hkl = 0.25), [PtEnPyCl3]NO3 (II) (monoclinic, space group P21/c, a = 8.194(1) Å, b = 8.846(1) Å, c = 19.855(2) Å, β = 97.10(1)°, Z = 4, R hkl = 0.048), and [Pt(NH3)2Py2Cl2](NO3)2 (III) (orthorhombic, space group Pbca, a = 12.316(2) Å, b = 13.250(3) Å, c = 21.868(4) Å, Z = 8, R hkl = 0.027). The reaction of [PtEnPyBr3]Br with bromine gives the polybromide [PtEnPyBr3]Br · Br2 · 0.5 H2O. The chlorination of [PtEnPyCl3]Cl gives the chloramine complex [Pt(NH2-CH2-NH(Cl)PyCl3]Cl · H2O.  相似文献

A Contribution to Rhenium(II)‐, Osmium(II)‐, and Technetium(II)‐Thionitrosyl‐Complexes: Preparation, Structures, and EPR‐Spectra The reaction of [ReVINCl4] and [OsVINCl4] with S2Cl2 leads to the formation of the thionitrosyl complexes [MII(NS)Cl4] (M = Re, Os) which could not be isolated as pure compounds. Addition of pyridine to the reaction mixture results in the formation of the stable compounds trans‐(Ph4P)[OsII(NS)Cl4py], trans‐(Hpy)[OsII(NS)Cl4py], trans‐(Ph4P)[ReII(NS)Cl4py], and cis‐(Ph4P)[ReII(NS)Cl4py]. The crystal structure analyses show for trans‐(Ph4P)[OsII(NS)Cl4py] (monoclinic, P21/n, a = 12.430(3)Å, b = 18.320(4)Å, c = 15.000(3)Å, β = 114.20(3)°, Z = 4), trans‐(Hpy)[OsII(NS)Cl4py] (monoclinic, P21/n, a = 7.689(1)Å, b = 10.202(2)Å, c = 20.485(5)Å, β = 92.878(4)°, Z = 4), trans‐(Ph4P)[ReII(NS)Cl4py] (triclinic, P1¯, a = 9.331(5)Å, b = 12.068(5)Å, c = 15.411(5)Å, α = 105.25(1)°, β = 90.23(1)°, γ = 91.62(1)°, Z = 2), and cis‐(Ph4P)[ReII(NS)Cl4py] (monoclinic, P21/c, a = 10.361(1)Å, b = 16.091(2)Å, c = 17.835(2)Å, β = 90.524(2)°, Z = 4) M‐N‐S angles in the range 168‐175°. This indicates a nearly linear coordination of the NS ligand. The metal atom is octahedrally coordinated in all cases. The rhenium(II) thionitrosyl complexes (5d5 “low‐spin” configuration, S = 1/2) are studied by EPR in the temperature range 295 > T > 130 K. In addition to the detection of the complexes formed during the reaction of [ReVINCl4] with S2Cl2 EPR investigations on diamagnetically diluted powders and single crystals of the system (Ph4P)[ReII/OsII(NS)Cl4py] are reported. The 185, 187Re hyperfine parameters are used to get information about the spin‐density distribution of the unpaired electron in the complexes under study. [TcVINCl4] reacts with S2Cl2 under formation of [TcII(NS)Cl4] which is not stable and decomposes under S8 elimination and rebuilding of [TcVINCl4] as found by EPR monitoring of the reaction.  相似文献

(Q = S or Se) with the composition K4[Re6S8(OH)6]·4H2O (1) and K4[Re6Se8(OH)6]·5H2O (2) are produced by evaporation of the corresponding strongly alkaline aqueous solutions. The composition of the compounds is determined by the single crystal X-ray diffraction study. The compounds crystallize in the triclinic space group P $\bar 1$ with the following unit cell parameters: a = 8.408(2) Å, b = 9.096(2) Å, c = 9.222(2) Å, α = 95.110(4)°, β = 107.085(4)°, γ = 113.026(4)°, V = 603.5(3) Å3, Z = 1, d x = 4.689 g/cm3 (for 1) and a = 8.782(3) Å, b = 9.155(4) Å, c = 9.325(4) Å, α = 105.481(7)°, β = 109.266(6)°, γ = 99.104(6)°, V = 656.6(4) Å3, Z = 1, d x = 5.305 g/cm3 (for 2).  相似文献
