Twelve coordinate lanthanide (III) complexes with the general composition [Ln L3Xn(H2O)n] where Ln = Pr(III), Sm(III), Eu (III), Gd (III), Tb (III), Dy (III), X = Cl?1, NO3 ?2, n = 2–7, and L is 1-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-(4-fluoro/hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-en-1- thiosemicarbazone have been prepared. The lanthanide complexes (5) were derived from the reaction between 1-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-(4-fluoro/hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-en-1-thiosemicarbazone (4) with an aqueous solution of lanthanide salt. Chalcone thiosemicarbazone ligand (4) was prepared by the reaction of [1-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-(4-fluoro/hydroxyphenyl)]prop-2-enone (chalcone) (3) with thiosemicarbazide in the presence of hot ethanol. All the lanthanide-ligand 1:3 complexes have been isolated in the solid state, are stable in air, and characterized on the basis of their elemental and spectral data.

Thiosemicarbazone ligands behave as bidentate ligands by coordinating through the sulfur of the isocyanide group and nitrogen of the cyanide residue. The probable structure for all the lanthanide complexes is also proposed. The chalcone thiosemicarbazone ligands and their lanthanide complexes have been screened for their antifungal and antibacterial studies. Some of the synthesized lanthanide complexes have shown enhanced activity compared with that of the free ligand.

A new stereoselective method for the synthesis of trans-isomers of 2-amino-4-aryl-5-benzoyl-4,5-dihydrothiophene-3-carbonitriles was proposed. The method involves base-catalyzed reactions of phenacyl thiocyanate with 3-(het)aryl-2-cyanoprop-2-enethioamides. (4R,5S/4S,5R)-2-Amino-5-benzoyl-4-(2-chlorophenyl)-4,5-ihydrothiophene-3-carbonitrile was structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. The effect ofmeta-substituents in the aromatic ring on the route of Claisen rearrangement ofN-(pent-3-en-2-yl)-3-fluoro(or 3-trifluoromethyl, 3,4-difluoro)anilines induced by ZnCl2 was investigated. An efficient method for the synthesis of novel 3-(1,3-thiazol-2-yl)-7,8-dihydroquinoline-2,5(1H,6H)-diones from various 2-dimethylaminomethylidenecyclohexane-1,3-diones, (1,3-thiazol-2-yl)acetonitriles, and dimethylformamide dimethyl acetal was developed. These transformations proceeded through intermediate 2-[2-(4-aryl-1,3-thiazol-2-yl)-2-cyanoethenyl]-3-oxocyclohex-1-en-1-olates. They were isolated as piperidinium salts and used in further heterocyclization reactions with aromatic amines, giving novel 1-aryl-3-(1,3-thiazol-2-yl)-7,8-dihydroquinoline-2,5(1H,6H)-diones. These compounds were also obtained by preparative three-step “one pot” synthesis under controlled microwave irradiation. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Reduction of (E)-3-aryl-2-(4-arylthiazol-2-yl)acrylonitriles with lithium aluminum hydride in dry ether afforded (Z)-1-amino-3-aryl-2-(thiazol-2-yl)prop-1-ene derivatives in 15 to 40% yields. The structure of (Z)-1-amino-3-(2-chlorophenyl)-2-[4-(4-methylphenyl)thiazol-2-yl]prop-1-ene was confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. Dedicated to Academician N. K. In this study, we investigate the structural and spectroscopic properties of the thienyl chalcone derivative 3-(5-Bromo-2-thienyl)-1-(4-nitrophenyl)-prop-2-en-1-one, C13H8BrNO3S, using nuclear magnetic resonance (1H and 13C NMR), UV–vis and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and Raman spectroscopy at room conditions combined with density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent DFT (TD-DFT) augmented with B3LYP/6-311G(d,p) and CAM-B3LYP/6-311G(d,p) basis sets, yielding valuable information on the molecular conformational preferences, vibrational assignments, optical properties and electronic transitions. The vibrational mode assignments of the most stable conformer of C13H8BrNO3S are discussed based on potential energy distribution (PED) analysis and establishing a comparison with a similar chemical structure. The temperature dependence on the Raman spectra of the C13H8BrNO3S shows a reversible phase transition in the range 443–443 K pointed out by the discontinuity in the dω/dT of bands in the external and internal modes region. The UV–vis spectrum of the C13H8BrNO3S indicates a semiconductor behavior with an optical band gap of 2.6 eV, corresponding to the predicted value of 3.42 eV assigned as the electronic transition from the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) to the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO). TD-DFT calculations reveal that the electron donor and acceptor group substitution on the 1-phenyl-3-(thiophen-2-yl)prop-2-en-1-one affects its absorption and nonlinear activity.  相似文献

Summary The Claisen rearrangement of 7-(3-phenyl-2-propenyloxy)-3-phenyl-(4H)-1-benzopyran-4-one (2 a) gave 7-hydroxy-8-(1-phenyl-2-propenyl)-3-phenyl-(4H)-1-benzopyran-4-one (3 a) and 2,3-dihydro-2,6-diphenyl-3-methyl-(7H)furo[2,3-h]-1-benzopyran-7-one (7 a). 2-Methyl-7-(3-phenyl-2-propenyloxy)-3-phenyl-(4H)-1-benzopyran-4-one (2 b) afforded4 b and7 b. 8-Methyl-7-(3-phenyl-2-propenyloxy)-3-phenyl-(4H)-1-benzopyran-4-one (12) gave only the alkali soluble product 7-hydroxy-8-methyl-6-(1-phenyl-2-propenyl)-3-phenyl-(4H)-1-benzopyran-4-one (13).3 a,4 b, and13 were further cyclized in acidic medium to9 a,10 b, and14 followed by dehydrogenation.This paper is dedicated to Dr. F. A series of 2-(1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)-phenols and their nickel complexes have been synthesized and characterized by elemental and spectroscopic analysis. The molecular structures of ligand L4 and complex C5 were confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. X-ray crystallographic analysis revealed that complex C5 has a six-coordinated distorted octahedral geometry. Upon activation with Et2AlCl, these nickel(II) complexes showed good activity for ethylene oligomerization. When PPh3 was added as an auxiliary ligand to the catalytic system, an increased activity as high as 1.60 × 10g mol−1 (Ni) h−1 was observed. The ligand environment and reaction conditions remarkably affected the catalytic behavior of these nickel complexes.  相似文献

The seven-coordinate rhenium(III) complex cation [ReIII(dhp)(PPh3)2]+ was isolated as the iodide salt from the reaction of cis-[RevO2I(PPh3)2] with 2,6-bis(2-hydroxyphenyliminomethyl)pyridine (H2dhp) in ethanol. In the complex fac-[Re(CO)3(H2dhp)Br], prepared from [Re(CO)5Br] and H2dhp in toluene, the H2dhp ligand acts as a neutral bidentate N,N-donor chelate. The interaction of 3-formyl-4-coumarin with arylhydrazine hydrochlorides in the presence of sodium acetate gave the corresponding 3-arylhydrazonomethyl-4-chlorocoumarin, and with phenylhydrazine, 4-bromo- and 4-chlorophenylhydrazine hydrochlorides in the presence of two equivalents of triethylamine gave either 1-aryl- or 2-aryl[1]benzopyrano[4,3-c]pyrazol-4-ones depending on the reaction conditions. In reactions of 4-chloro-3-formylcoumarin with 2,4-dichloro-, 2,4-difluoro-, 2-hydroycarbonyl-, 4-nitro- and 3,5-di(trifluoromethyl)phenylhydrazine, 2-pyridyl- and 2-quinoxalylhydrazine in the presence of excess of triethylamine the 2-aryl[1]benzopyrano[4,3-c]pyrazol-4(2H)-ones were obtained exclusively. The structures of 1-phenyl- and 2-(2-pyridyl)[1]benzopyrano[4,3-c]pyrazolo-4(1H)ones were confirmed by X-ray crystallography. A simple method is proposed to distinguish between 1- and 2-substituted [1]benzopyrano[4,3-c]pyrazolo-4-ones on the basis of the 1H NMR chemical shifts of the C(3)-H proton in two solvents - DMSO-d6 and CDCl3.  相似文献

8-Bromo-1-carboxydiisophor-2(7)-en-3-one is obtainable from diisophorone by successive monobromination andKoch-Haaf carboxylation, performed in either sequence. Nucleophilic replacement of its 8-bromo-substituent by acetolysis or methanolysis occurs with simultaneous migration, resulting in the 4-acetoxy- or 4-methoxy-compounds, respectively. In contrast, alkaline hydrolysis yields the 8-hydroxy-compound as main-product; this serves as the precursor of 3,8-diketodiisophor-2(7)-ene-1-carboxylic acid. The configuration of the 4- and 8-substituents is tentatively assigned on the basis of i.r. spectral data.

Zusammenfassung 8-Brom-1-carboxydiisophor-2(7)-en-3-on ist aus Diisophoron durch Monobromierung undKoch-Haaf-Carboxylierung zugänglich; die Reaktionen sind in beliebiger Reihenfolge ausführbar. Nucleophiler Austausch des 8-Brom-Substituenten durch Acetolyse und Methanolyse erfolgt unter gleichzeitiger Isomerisierung, wobei 4-Acetoxy- oder Methoxy-Verbindungen entstehen. Im Gegensatz dazu liefert alkalische Hydrolyse hauptsächlich die 8-Hydroxyl-Verbindung; diese dient als Ausgangsmaterial für die Darstellung der 3,8-Diketodiisophor-2(7)-en-1-carbonsäure. Vorläufige Konfigurationen der 4- und 8-Substituenten werden auf Grund von IR-Spektren vorgeschlagen.

The reactions of 4,6-dinitro-1-phenyl-1H-indazole with anionic nucleophiles RS and N3 lead to the regiospecific replacement of the nitro group at position 4. The reaction with N2H4·H2O + FeCl3 also results in reduction of only the 4-NO2 group. Based on this fact, a procedure was developed for the preparation of previously unknown 3-unsubstituted 4-X-6-nitro-1-phenyl-1H-indazoles (X is a residue of a nucleophile or NH2). Comparison of the data on the selective nucleophilic substitution (4-NO2 group) in 3-Z-1-aryl-4,6-dinitro-1H-indazoles shows that in the case of Z = H, the regiospecificity of substitution is determined by the electronic effect of the annelated pyrazole ring.  相似文献

Summary. 3-(Het)aryl-2-cyanoprop-2-enethioamides easily reacted with primary amines and excessive formaldehyde under mild conditions to afford pyrimido[6,1-b][1,3,5]thiadiazine derivatives in moderate yields. Furthermore, 2-cyano-2-cyclohexylideneethanethioamide reacted in the similar Mannich-type manner to give spiro-conjugated pyrimido-1,3,5-thiadiazines. The structure of 3,7-dibenzyl-8-(fur-2-yl)-3,4,7,8-tetrahydro-2H,6H-pyrimido[6,1-b][1,3,5]thiadiazine-9-carbonitrile was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis.  相似文献

四氯合铂酸钾分别与邻、间、对磺基苯甲酸在乙腈和水中利用水热合成获得了3个铂的N-(1-亚氨基乙基)乙脒配合物:[Pt(NIA)_2]·(2-sb)·2H_2O(1),[Pt(NIA)_2]·(3-sb)·3H_2O(2)和[Pt(NIA)_2]·(1,4-dsb)·2H_2O(3)(NIA=N-(1-亚氨基乙基)乙脒,2-sb~2-=2-磺基苯甲酸二价阴离子、3-sb~2-=3-磺基苯甲酸二价阴离子、1,4-dsb~2-=1,4-二磺基苯二价阴离子)。合成过程中发生了乙氰三聚以及4-sb~2-转变为1,4-dsb~2-的反应。对配合物进行了元素分析、红外、紫外、荧光、热重和粉末X射线衍射表征,并利用单晶X射线衍射测定了配合物的晶体结构。3个配合物为阳离子-阴离子物种,阳离子为[Pt(NIA)_2]~(2+),中心金属离子四配位平面构型;阴离子与阳离子、水形成氢键,组成一个三维网络结构,但3个配合物的氢键模式不同。配合物在热稳定性、荧光性质上有一定差异。  相似文献

1-(Dimethylamino)-1-phenyl-1-silacyclohexane 1, was synthesized, and its molecular structure and conformational properties studied by gas-phase electron diffraction (GED), low temperature 13C NMR spectroscopy and quantum-chemical calculations. The predominance of the 1-Phax conformer (1-Pheq:1-Phax ratio of 20:80%, ΔG°(317?K)?=??0.87?kcal/mol) in the gas phase is close to the theoretically estimated conformational equilibrium. In solution, low temperature NMR spectroscopy showed analyzable decoalescence of Cipso and C(1,5) carbon signals in 13C NMR spectra at 103?K. Opposite to the gas state in the freon solution employed (CD2Cl2/CHFCl2/CHFCl2?=?1:1:3), which is still liquid at 100?K, the 1-Pheq conformer was found to be the preferred one [(1-Pheq: 1-Phax?=?77%: 23%, K?=?77/23?=?2.8; ?ΔG°?=??RT ln K (at 103?K)?=?0.44?±?0.1?kcal/mol]. When comparing 1 with 1-phenyl-1-(X)silacylohexanes (X?=?H, Me, OMe, F, Cl), studied so far, the trend of predominance of the Phax conformer in the gas phase and of the Pheq conformer in solution is confirmed.  相似文献
