High-spin states in 59Cu were populated using the fusion-evaporation reaction 28Si + 40Ca at a beam energy of 122 MeV. The Gammasphere Ge-detector array in conjunction with the 4π charged-particle detector array
Microball allowed for the detection of γ-rays in coincidence with evaporated light particles. The resulting extensive high-spin
decay scheme of 59Cu is presented, which comprises more than 320 γ-ray transitions connecting about 150 excited states. Their spins and parities
have been assigned via directional correlations of γ-rays emitted from oriented states. Average quadrupole moments of rotational
bands have been determined from the analysis of residual Doppler shifts. Shell model calculations in the fp shell are invoked to study some of the low-spin states, while the experimental characteristics of the rotational bands are
analyzed in the configuration-dependent cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky (CNS) approach.

Beta decay of a refractory isotope 118Rh produced in symmetric fission and mass separated by the ion guide technique has been applied for the study of low-lying
excited states of 118Pd. The yrast band in 118Pd has been observed up to a 6+ state and the lowest states of the asymmetric γ-band have been identified. The measured half-life of 118Rh is (300±60)ms. The systematics of the excited states in neutron-rich Pd-isotopes implies the saturation towards an O(6) symmetry at N = 70.

Experimental studies on in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy using a 12Be radioactive beam are presented. Inelastic scattering of the neutron-rich 12Be nucleus on 208Pb, 12C, and (CH2)n targets has been studied by measuring de-excitation γ-rays in coincidence with scattered particles. The level schemes and
transition probabilities are determined for low-lying excited states in 12Be. The present paper presents a brief review of the spectroscopic results, which may be associated with the N = 8 shell quenching near the drip line.

Eight high-spin states in 36Ar below 10MeV excitation energy, among them a prospective J
π = 8- state at 9408keV and the J? 8 levels of the recently discovered superdeformed rotational band, have been observed by n-γ coincidence measurements with
the 33S(α, nγ) reaction at E
α = 14.4 and 13.4MeV. High-spin assignments of, respectively, J
π = 6+ and 5- were obtained for the E
p = 1209 and 1462keV (E
x = 9682 and 9927keV) resonances of the 35Cl (p,γ) reaction by a measurement of γ-ray angular distributions. The spectrum of the high-spin and of the E
x? 7.4MeV levels is decomposed according to the underlying shell model configurations with n = 0, 1, 2, 4 particles excited from the N = 2 into the N = 3 major shell. The role of four-particle excitations, all connected with large prolate distortions, is elucidated for the
entire A = 36-40 mass region.

Gamma ray transitions de-exciting states in the N = Z nucleus 70Br have been identified for the first time using the GASP and EUROBALL arrays coupled with ancillary detectors. The level
scheme of 70Br has been established by means of particle-gated γ-γ and γ-γ-γ coincidences. The Coulomb energy differences between isobaric
analogue states in 70Br and 70Se show a deviation from the expected behaviour which could be related to dripline effects.

Excited states of the 119Xe nucleus have been studied by using in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy with the 107Ag ( 16O, p3n) 119Xe fusion-evaporation reaction at a beam energy of 85 MeV. The level scheme of 119Xe has been derived from γ-γ coincidence and γ-γ angular correlation analyses. We have, for the first time, established the
second negative-parity favored and unfavored states built on the 11/2- state, namely the yrare rotational bands in 119Xe. In contrast to the behavior of the yrast bands where the favored states are lying lower in energy, the yrare favored states
were observed to lie above the unfavored band. Such a signature inversion in 119Xe is changed to be normal at I = 12?.

The lifetime of the first 2+ state in the nucleus 124Ba has been measured by γ-γ coincidence recoil-distance Doppler shift method. The 109Ag(19F, 4n)124Ba reaction at a beam energy of 75 MeV was employed to populate excited states in 124Ba. The mean lifetime was determined to be 275(12) ps using the differential decay curve method. The value of B(E2;01
+→ 21
+) for 124Ba deduced from the lifetime is in reasonable agreement with the prediction of the proton-neutron interacting boson model(IBM-2)
without Pauli blocking effect.

We present new results of a relativistic quark model based on the Bethe-Salpeter equation in its instantaneous approximation.
Assuming a linearly rising confinement potential with an appropriate spinorial structure in Dirac space and adopting a residual
interaction based on instanton effects, we can compute masses of the light mesons up to highest observed angular momenta with
a natural solution of the U
A(1) problem. The calculated ground states masses and the radial excitations describe the experimental results well. In this
paper, we will also discuss our results concerning numerous meson decay properties. For processes like π+/K
+↦e
+υeγ and 0-↦γγ at various photon virtualities, we find a good agreement with experimental data. We will also comment on the form factors
of the K
?3 decay and on the decay constants of the π, K and η mesons. For the sake of completeness, we will furthermore present the electromagnetic form factors of the charged π
and K mesons as well as a comparison of the radiative meson decay widths with the most recent experimental data.

The high-spin states of 145Tb have been studied in the 118Sn(32S, 1p4n) reaction at 32S energies from 161 to 175 MeV using techniques of in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy. Measurements of γ-ray excitation functions
and γ-γ-t coincidences were performed with 12 BGO(AC)HPGe detectors. Based on the measured results of γ-γ coincidences, γ-ray anisotropies
and DCO ratios, a level scheme for 145Tb was established for the first time. The observed excited states show typical irregular pattern in a spherical nucleus,
and the low-lying levels have been interpreted qualitatively with a particle-core coupling.

The γ-ray de-excitations following the β-decay of 83Ga and the β-n decay of 84Ga have been studied. The radioactive species were produced using the PARRNe on-line mass-separator installed at the IPN Orsay
Tandem accelerator. Two γ-lines were attributed to 83Ge with the aid of β-γ and γ-γ coincidences. The Z identification of the γ-lines was provided by time analysis of a buid-up/decay cycle. The excited levels of 83Ge can be explained by the coupling of the single neutron state ν2d
5/2 to the first 2+ excitation of the 82Ge core. 相似文献

Prompt proton decay lines in 58Cu have been studied by means of high-resolution in-beam particle-γ coincidence spectroscopy using the GAMMASPHERE Ge-detector
array in conjunction with a dedicated set of ancillary detectors including four ΔE-E silicon-strip telescopes. High-spin states in 58Cu have been populated via the heavy-ion fusion-evaporation reaction 28Si(36Ar, 1α1p1n) at 148 MeV beam energy. The full-width at half maximum for the proton peak could be reduced significantly compared
to earlier experiments. The results indicate that only one prompt proton decay branch exists in the decay-out of the well-deformed
band of 58Cu.

The β-decay of 75Sr to its mirror nucleus 75Rb was studied at the ISOLDE PSB facility at CERN by means of β-delayed γ and proton spectroscopy. The decay Q-value and β-delayed γ intensity were measured for the first time. These results, 10.60±0.22 MeV and 4.5+1.9
-0.7%, together with accurate measurements of the β-decay half-life and β-delayed proton branching ratio yielded the Gamow-Teller
strength 0.35±0.05 for the mirror transition. Implications of the results on studies of deformation effects and on the path
of the rapid proton capture process are discussed.

The electron-capture decay of 228Pa to levels in 228Th was studied using mass-separated sources and a γ-ray detection system consisting of five Compton-suppressed Ge detectors.
A total of 87 levels were observed up to an excitation energy of 2 MeV which are connected by approximately 500 γ-ray transitions.
The complete octupole quadruplet, three excited K
π=0+ bands and two K
π=2+ bands were identified below 1.4 MeV. The observed level structure is compared to calculations within the quasiparticle-phonon
nuclear model. The surprisingly good agreement indicates that 228Th has less transitional character than hitherto assumed.

Lifetimes of excited states in 110Cd have been measured by the Doppler shift attenuation method in the reaction (α,2nγ) at E
α= 25 MeV. Lifetime values for 8 states and lifetime limits for 3 states were obtained. The band structures of 110Cd have been interpreted in terms of a modified version of the interacting boson model (IBM + 2 q.p.). The calculations explain
well the excitation energies and electromagnetic transition probabilities up to J
π= 16+, except for the 10+
1 state. The structural features are discussed in terms of collective and two quasiparticle excitations.

The results of in-beam investigations of excited states of 99Ru using the 98Mo(α,3n) reaction are presented. Angular distributions of γ–rays and γ–γ coincidences have been measured. Excited states have
been identified up to an energy of E = 5603 keV and spin of Iπ= 31/2−. Mean lifetimes τ have been determined using the DSA method for eleven levels. Aligned angular momenta are discussed and
the probable (νh
11/2) origin of a backbending at frequency about 0.5 MeV was confirmed. The possible role of (νd
5/2) alignment at frequencies above 0.5 MeV was pointed out.

The structure of 152Nd, produced via β− decay of 152Pr, has been investigated using γ-γ coincidence, γ-γ angular correlation, and β-γ-γ triple coincidence measurements. Praseodymium
activities were obtained by the thermal neutron fission of 235U and collected by the on-line isotope separator KUR-ISOL. Nineteen γ-rays and four excited states were newly found. The spins
of six exited states were determined and the parities of three of them were also deduced. The spin and parity of the 152Pr ground state, which were previously considered as 4−, are proposed to be 4+ by the present study.

High spin states in 178Ir have been studied via the 152Sm(31P, 5nγ)178Ir reaction through excitation functions, X-γ and γ-γ-t coincidence measurements. According to the band structure characteristics

High-spin states of the 42Ca nucleus, populated in the 68 MeV 18O + 30Si reaction, have been studied in a γ-γ-recoil coincidence experiment. The level scheme of 42Ca has been extended up to 13.7 MeV. An elaborate decay pattern with various paths, together with high-quality DCO and polarization
information assigns spins and parities for almost all observed levels. The sequence of non-yrast positive-parity states is
discussed and compared with highly deformed bands in 36Ar and 40Ca.

In-beam Coulomb excitation of the exotic odd-odd nucleus 180Ta has been studied by using a 136Xe beam and a setup consisting of five EUROBALL CLUSTER detectors and the Darmstadt-Heidelberg Crystal Ball array. Spectroscopic
information on the extremely rare 180Ta is obtained from the comparison between an enriched (3.6±0.3% 180Ta) and a natural tantalum target. Possible evidence for a depopulation from the long-lived high-spin J
π = 9- isomer to the short-lived J
π = 1+ ground state is searched for by different methods. The decay of low-K bandheads, which are nanosecond isomers, towards the ground-state band can be demonstrated in delayed spectroscopy. A γγ
coincidence analysis provides indications of K = 5 in-band transitions. Finally, when the Crystal Ball is used as an energy and γ multiplicity filter, signals of decay
into the K = 0 band are observed.

The decay of 95Ru has been investigated by means of γ-ray spectroscopy. The 95Ru nuclei were produced by the reaction 92Mo( α, n) 95Ru at a beam energy of 17MeV. High-purity Ge detectors have been used singly and in coincidence to study γ-rays in the decay of 95Ru to 95Tc. 132 γ-rays are reported, among them, energies and intensities for 127 transitions have been determined. A decay scheme of 95Ru with 31 levels is proposed which accommodates 127 of these transitions. Spins and parities for three new levels are proposed
from calculated log ft values, measured γ-ray branching ratios, and in-beam experiment results of the daughter nucleus 95Tc. Combining with the high-spin states observed by in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy of previous decay works, the structure of the excited states of 95Tc is discussed in the framework of the projected shell model. 相似文献
