Crystals of the title compound, [Cu2(C10H9NO3)2(H2O)2]·2CH4N2O, consist of two (N‐salicylidene‐β‐alaninato‐κ3O,N,O′)copper(II) coordination units bridged by two water moieties to form a dimer residing on a crystallographic inversion center, along with two uncoordinated urea molecules. The CuII atom has square‐pyramidal coordination, with three donor atoms of the tridentate Schiff base and an O atom of the bridging aqua ligand in the basal plane. The axial position is occupied by the second bridging water ligand at a distance of 2.5941 (18) Å. Hydrogen bonds between molecules of urea and the neighboring dimer units lead to the formation of a two‐dimensional grid of molecules parallel to [101]. The superposition of the normals of the pyramidal base planes in the direction [100] indicates possible π–π interactions between the neighboring units.  相似文献

In the title compound, [Cu(C13H9NO3)(H2O)]n, the CuII ion is in a slightly distorted square‐pyramidal environment, with four short bonds in the basal plane formed by three donor atoms of the Schiff base and a water O atom. A symmetry‐related neighbouring molecule provides an apical carboxylate O atom at a distance of 2.551 (3) Å; this contact leads to the formation of zigzag polymeric chains. In addition, the chain fragments are connected to each other by hydrogen bonding.  相似文献

The title polymeric compound, catena‐poly[dipotassium [bis[μ‐N‐salicylidene‐β‐alaninato(2−)]‐κ4O,N,O′:O′′;κ4O′′:O,N,O′‐dicopper(II)]‐di‐μ‐isothiocyanato‐κ2N:S2S:N], {K[Cu(NCS)(C10H9NO3)]}n, consists of [isothiocyanato(N‐salicylidene‐β‐alaninato)copper(II)] anions connected through the two three‐atom thiocyanate (μ‐NCS) and the two anti, anti‐μ‐carboxylate bridges into infinite one‐dimensional polymeric anions, with coulombically interacting K+ counter‐ions with coordination number 7 constrained between the chains. The CuII atoms adopt a distorted tetragonal–bipyramidal coordination, with three donor atoms of the tridentate Schiff base and one N atom of the bridging μ‐NCS ligand in the basal plane. The first axial position is occupied by a thiocyanate S atom of a symmetry‐related μ‐NCS ligand at an apical distance of 2.9770 (8) Å, and the second position is occupied by an O atom of a bridging carboxylate group from an adjacent coordination unit at a distance of 2.639 (2) Å.  相似文献

The two title complexes, [Zn2(C13H9Cl2N2O)2(C2H3O2)2], (I), and [Cu2(C13H9Cl2N2O)2(NCS)2], (II), are dinuclear Schiff base compounds. Both molecules are located on crystallographic centres of inversion. In (I), the ZnII atom is five‐coordinated in a trigonal–bipyramidal coordination, with one imine N atom of one Schiff base and two acetate O atoms defining the basal plane, and one O atom and one pyridine N atom of the Schiff base occupying the axial positions, while in (II), the CuII atom is five‐coordinated in a square‐pyramidal coordination, with one O and two N atoms of one Schiff base and one terminal N atom of a bridging thiocyanate ligand defining the basal plane, and one terminal S atom of another bridging thiocyanate ligand occupying the apical position. The different bridging ligands lead to the different coordinations of the complexes.  相似文献

The stoichiometric reaction of 1,10‐phenanthroline (phen), iminodiacetic acid (IDA‐H2) and Cu(ClO4)2 in a H2O–CH3OH (2:1) solution yields μ‐iminodiacetato‐2:1κ4O,N,O′:O′′‐tris(1,10‐phenanthroline)‐1κ4N,N′;2κ2N,N′‐dicopper(II) diperchlorate methanol solvate, [Cu2(C4H5NO4)(C12H8N2)3](ClO4)2·CH3OH. The IDA ligand bridges the two CuII ions via a carboxylate group and uses one further N and an O atom of the second carboxylate group to complete a fac‐tridentate coordination at one Cu centre. A phen ligand completes a distorted square‐pyramidal coordination at this metal atom, although there is weak coordination by a perchlorate O atom at a sixth position. The second Cu centre has a distorted trigonal–bipyramidal coordination to two phen moieties and a carboxylate O atom.  相似文献

A novel one‐dimensional CuII coordination polymer, catena‐poly[bis(μ4‐3‐{[2‐(3‐hydroxy‐2‐oxidobenzylidene)hydrazinylidene]methyl}benzene‐1,2‐diolato)dimethanoltricopper(II)], [Cu3(C14H10N2O4)2(CH3OH)2]n, (I), was constructed with a di‐Schiff base supported centrosymmetric trinuclear CuII subunit. In the subunit, two peripheral symmetry‐related CuII cations have square‐pyramidal CuNO4 geometry and the central third CuII cation lies on an inversion centre with octahedral CuN2O4 geometry. In (I), each partially deprotonated di‐Schiff base 3‐{[2‐(3‐hydroxy‐2‐oxidobenzylidene)hydrazinylidene]methyl}benzene‐1,2‐diolate ligand (Hbcaz3−) acts as a heptadentate ligand to bind the CuII centres into chains along the a axis. A centrosymmetric Cu2O2 unit containing an asymmetrically bridging O atom, being axial at one Cu atom and equatorial at the other Cu atom, links the trinuclear CuII subunit into a one‐dimensional chain, which is reinforced by intramolecular phenol–methanol O—H...O and methanol–phenolate O—H...O hydrogen bonds. Interchain π–π stacking interactions between pyrocatechol units, with a distance of 3.5251 (18) Å, contribute to the stability of the crystal packing.  相似文献

In the title coordination compound, [Cd(C14H8N2O4)(H2O)]n, the CdII cation and the coordinated water molecule lie on a twofold axis, whereas the ligand lies on an inversion center. The CdII center is five‐coordinated in a distorted square‐pyramidal geometry by four carboxylate O atoms from four different 4,4′‐diazenediyldibenzoate (ddb) anions and one water O atom. The three‐dimensional frameworks thus formed by the bridging ddb anions interpenetrate to generate a three‐dimensional PtS‐type network. Additionally, the coordination water molecule and the carboxylate O atom form a hydrogen‐bonding interaction, stabilizing the three‐dimensional framework structure.  相似文献

Schiff bases are considered `versatile ligands' in coordination chemistry. The design of polynuclear complexes has become of interest due to their facile preparations and varied synthetic, structural and magnetic properties. The reaction of the `ligand complex' [CuL] {H2L is 2,2′‐[propane‐1,3‐diylbis(nitrilomethanylylidene)]diphenol} with Ni(OAc)2·4H2O (OAc is acetate) in the presence of dicyanamide (dca) leads to the formation of bis(dicyanamido‐1κN1)bis(dimethyl sulfoxide)‐2κO,3κO‐bis{μ‐2,2′‐[propane‐1,3‐diylbis(nitrilomethanylylidene)]diphenolato}‐1:2κ6O,O′:O,N,N′,O′;1:3κ6O,O′:O,N,N′,O′‐dicopper(II)nickel(II), [Cu2Ni(C17H16N2O2)2(C2N3)2(C2H6OS)2]. The complex shows strong absorption bands in the frequency region 2155–2269 cm−1, which clearly proves the presence of terminal bonding dca groups. A single‐crystal X‐ray study revealed that two [CuL] units coordinate to an NiII atom through the phenolate O atoms, with double phenolate bridges between CuII and NiII atoms. Two terminal dca groups complete the distorted octahedral geometry around the central NiII atom. According to differential thermal analysis–thermogravimetric analysis (DTA–TGA), the title complex is stable up to 423 K and thermal decomposition starts with the release of two coordinated dimethyl sulfoxide molecules. Free H2L exhibits photoluminescence properties originating from intraligand (π–π*) transitions and fluorescence quenching is observed on complexation of H2L with CuII.  相似文献

The title racemic complex, bis[μ‐N‐(2‐oxidobenzylidene)‐d ,l ‐glutamato(2−)]bis[(isoquinoline)copper(II)] ethanol disolvate, [Cu2(C12H11NO5)2(C9H7N)2]·2C2H6O, adopts a square‐pyramidal CuII coordination mode with a tridentate N‐salicylideneglutamato Schiff base dianion and an isoquinoline ligand bound in the basal plane. The apex of the pyramid is occupied by a phenolic O atom from the adjacent chelate molecule at an apical distance of 2.487 (3) Å, building a dimer located on the crystallographic inversion center. The Cu...Cu spacing within the dimers is 3.3264 (12) Å. The ethanol solvent molecules are hydrogen bonded to the dimeric complex molecules, forming infinite chains in the a direction. The biological activity of the title complex has been studied.  相似文献

The coordination mode of the dimethylmalonate ligand in the two title CuII complexes, {[Cu(C5H3O4)(H2O)]·H2O}n, (I), and [Cu(C5H3O4)(H2O)]n, (II), is the same, with chelated six‐membered, bis‐monodentate and bridging bonding modes. However, the coordination environment of the CuII atoms, the connectivity of their metal–organic frameworks and their hydrogen‐bonding interactions are different. Complex (I) has a perfect square‐pyramidal CuII environment with the aqua ligand in the apical position, and only one type of square grid consisting of CuII atoms linked via carboxylate bridges to three dimethylmalonate ligands, with weak hydrogen‐bond interactions within and between its two‐dimensional layers. Complex (II) has a coordination geometry that is closer to square pyramidal than trigonal bipyramidal for its CuII atoms with the aqua ligand now in the basal plane. Its two‐dimensional layer structure comprises two alternating grids, which involve two and four different dimethylmalonate anions, respectively. There are strong hydrogen bonds only within its layers.  相似文献

The title coordination polymer, poly[(μ4‐2‐oxidoisophthalato‐κ6O1,O2:O2,O3:O3′:O3′)(μ2‐quinoxaline‐κ2N:N′)copper(I)copper(II)], [Cu2(C8H3O5)(C8H6N2)]n, contains two crystallographically distinct Cu ions, one quinoxaline (QA) unit and one 2‐oxidoisophthalate trianion (L) derived from 2‐hydroxyisophthalic acid (H3L). The CuII ion is strongly coordinated by four O atoms in a distorted square geometry, of which two belong to two phenoxide groups and the other two to carboxylate groups of two L ligands. In addition, the CuII cation interacts weakly with a symmetry‐related carboxylate O atom which belongs to the L ligand in an adjacent layer, giving a square‐pyramidal coordination geometry. The CuI ion is trigonally coordinated by two N atoms from two QA molecules and one O atom from an L carboxylate group. The CuI centres are bridged by QA ligands to give a chain along the c axis. Two CuII ions and two L ligands form a [Cu2L2]2− `metallo‐ligand', which coordinates two CuI ions. Thus, the chains of CuI and QA are linked by the [Cu2L2]2− metallo‐ligand to yield a two‐dimensional (6,3) sheet. These sheets are further linked by symmetry‐related carboxylate O atoms of neighbouring layers into a three‐dimensional framework. The in situ reaction from benzene‐1,2,3‐tricarboxylic acid (H3L1) to L in the present system has rarely been observed before, although a few novel in situ reactions, such as ligand oxidative coupling, hydrolysis and substitution, have been observed during the hydrothermal process.  相似文献

A novel copper(II) coordination polymer, poly[[[aquacopper(II)]‐μ3‐2,2′‐bipyridyl‐3,3′‐dicarboxylato‐κ4N,N′:O:O′] dihydrate], {[Cu(C12H6N2O4)(H2O)]·2H2O}n, was obtained by the reaction of CuCl2·2H2O and 2,2′‐bipyridyl‐3,3′‐dicarboxylic acid (H2L) in water. In the molecule, each CuII atom is five‐coordinated and lies at the centre of a square‐pyramidal basal plane, bridged by three L ligands to form a two‐dimensional (4,4)‐network. Each L moiety acts as a bridging tetradentate ligand, coordinating to three CuII atoms through its two aromatic N atoms and two O atoms of the two carboxyl groups. The two‐dimensional square‐grid sheets superimpose in an off‐set fashion through the inorganic water layer.  相似文献

The title complex, [Cu(C13H9Cl2N2O)(NCS)]n, is a novel thiocyanate‐bridged polynuclear copper(II) compound. The CuII atom is five‐coordinated in a square‐pyramidal configuration, with one O and two N atoms of one Schiff base ligand and one terminal N atom of a bridging thiocyanate ligand defining the basal plane, and one terminal S atom of another bridging thiocyanate ligand occupying the axial position. The [2,4‐dichloro‐6‐(pyridin‐2‐ylmethyliminomethyl)phenolato]copper(II) moieties are linked by the bridging thiocyanate ligands, forming polymeric chains running along the a axis.  相似文献

The title compound, K2[Cu2(NCS)2(C12H13NO3)2], consists of two K+ cations and (N‐salicylidene‐d ‐valinato)copper(II) and (N‐salicylidene‐l ‐valinato)copper(II) coordination units connected through three‐atom thiocyanate (μ‐NCS) bridges into a centrosymmetric dianion. The CuII atom adopts a square‐pyramidal coordination, with three donor atoms of the tridentate Schiff base and one N atom of the bridging ligand (μ‐NCS) in the basal plane. The axial position is occupied by the thiocyanate S atom of a symmetry‐related ligand at an apical distance of 2.9332 (10) Å. Coulombic interactions between six‐coordinated K+ ions and the heteroatoms of neighbouring dimeric anions leads to the formation of one‐dimensional chains of molecules parallel to [010]. The superposition of the normals of the pyramidal base planes in a direction close to [001] indicates possible π–π interactions between neighbouring units.  相似文献

The coordination chemistry of mixed‐ligand complexes continues to be an active area of research since these compounds have a wide range of applications. Many coordination polymers and metal–organic framworks are emerging as novel functional materials. Aminopyrimidine and its derivatives are flexible ligands with versatile binding and coordination modes which have been proven to be useful in the construction of organic–inorganic hybrid materials and coordination polymers. Thiophenecarboxylic acid, its derivatives and their complexes exhibit pharmacological properties. Cobalt(II) and copper(II) complexes of thiophenecarboxylate have many biological applications, for example, as antifungal and antitumor agents. Two new cobalt(II) and copper(II) complexes incorporating thiophene‐2‐carboxylate (2‐TPC) and 2‐amino‐4,6‐dimethoxypyrimidine (OMP) ligands have been synthesized and characterized by X‐ray diffraction studies, namely (2‐amino‐4,6‐dimethoxypyrimidine‐κN)aquachlorido(thiophene‐2‐carboxylato‐κO)cobalt(II) monohydrate, [Co(C5H3O2S)Cl(C6H9N3O2)(H2O)]·H2O, (I), and catena‐poly[copper(II)‐tetrakis(μ‐thiophene‐2‐carboxylato‐κ2O:O′)‐copper(II)‐(μ‐2‐amino‐4,6‐dimethoxypyrimidine‐κ2N1:N3)], [Cu2(C5H3O2S)4(C6H9N3O2)]n, (II). In (I), the CoII ion has a distorted tetrahedral coordination environment involving one O atom from a monodentate 2‐TPC ligand, one N atom from an OMP ligand, one chloride ligand and one O atom of a water molecule. An additional water molecule is present in the asymmetric unit. The amino group of the coordinated OMP molecule and the coordinated carboxylate O atom of the 2‐TPC ligand form an interligand N—H…O hydrogen bond, generating an S(6) ring motif. The pyrimidine molecules also form a base pair [R22(8) motif] via a pair of N—H…N hydrogen bonds. These interactions, together with O—H…O and O—H…Cl hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions, generate a three‐dimensional supramolecular architecture. The one‐dimensional coordination polymer (II) contains the classical paddle‐wheel [Cu2(CH3COO)4(H2O)2] unit, where each carboxylate group of four 2‐TPC ligands bridges two square‐pyramidally coordinated CuII ions and the apically coordinated OMP ligands bridge the dinuclear copper units. Each dinuclear copper unit has a crystallographic inversion centre, whereas the bridging OMP ligand has crystallographic twofold symmetry. The one‐dimensional polymeric chains self‐assemble via N—H…O, π–π and C—H…π interactions, generating a three‐dimensional supramolecular architecture.  相似文献

The title compound, [Cu(C9H5N2O3)2(C2H6OS)2], consists of octahedrally coordinated CuII ions, with the 3‐oxo‐3,4‐dihydroquinoxaline‐2‐carboxylate ligands acting in a bidentate manner [Cu—O = 1.9116 (14) Å and Cu—N = 2.1191 (16) Å] and a dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) molecule coordinated axially via the O atom [Cu—O = 2.336 (5) and 2.418 (7) Å for the major and minor disorder components, respectively]. The whole DMSO molecule exhibits positional disorder [0.62 (1):0.38 (1)]. The octahedron around the CuII atom, which lies on an inversion centre, is elongated in the axial direction, exhibiting a Jahn–Teller effect. The ligand exhibits tautomerization by H‐atom transfer from the hydroxyl group at position 3 to the N atom at position 4 of the quinoxaline ring of the ligand. The complex molecules are linked through an intermolecular N—H...O hydrogen bond [N...O = 2.838 (2) Å] formed between the quinoxaline NH group and a carboxylate O atom, and by a weak intermolecular C—H...O hydrogen bond [3.392 (11) Å] formed between a carboxylate O atom and a methyl C atom of the DMSO ligand. There is a weak intramolecular C—H...O hydrogen bond [3.065 (3) Å] formed between a benzene CH group and a carboxylate O atom.  相似文献

In the title compound, [Zn(C2H3N)(C16H21N3O)](ClO4)2·H2O, the ZnII ion is coordinated by two pyridyl N atoms, one amine N atom, and an ethanol O atom from the N,N′,N′′,O‐tetradentate 2‐[bis(2‐pyridylethyl)amino]ethanol donor ligand. The fifth coordination site is filled by an acetonitrile N atom, and there is one solvent water molecule in the asymmetric unit. The 2+ charge of the cationic portion of the complex is balanced by two perchlorate counter‐anions.  相似文献

In the title compound, [Cu(C9H5N2O2)2(H2O)2], the CuII ion lies on an inversion centre and has an elongated centrosymmetric octahedral environment, equatorially trans‐coordinated by two N,O‐bidentate quinoxaline‐2‐carboxylate ligands and axially coordinated by two water O atoms. Symmetry‐related molecules are linked by strong O—H...O hydrogen bonds, involving the uncoordinated carboxyl O atom of the carboxylate group and the coordinated water molecules, to form a two‐dimensional network. Weak intermolecular C—H...N interactions also stabilize the crystal structure.  相似文献

In the title coordination polymer, [Cu(C11H7O2)(OH)(H2O)]n, the CuII center is five‐coordinated by two O atoms from two different naphthalene‐1‐carboxylate (L) ligands, one O atom from one coordinated water molecule and two O atoms from two hydroxide anions. L ligands and hydroxide anions jointly bridge adjacent CuII centers to generate a one‐dimensional chain along the b‐axis direction. The results reveal that the steric bulk of the naphthalene ring system in L may play an important role in the formation of the title complex.  相似文献

The title complex, [Cu(ClO4)2(C9H13N5O)(CH3OH)], was synthesized from a methanolysis reaction of N‐(methylpyridin‐2‐yl)cyanoguanidine (L3) and copper(II) perchlorate hexahydrate in a 1:1 molar ratio. The CuII ion is six‐coordinated by an N3O3 donor set which confers a highly distorted and asymmetric octahedral geometry. Three N‐donor atoms from the chelating 1‐(methoxymethanimidoyl)‐2‐(pyridin‐2‐ylmethyl)guanidine (L3m) ligand and one O atom from the methanol molecule define the equatorial plane, with two perchlorate O atoms in the apical sites, one of which has a long Cu—O bond of 2.9074 (19) Å. The dihedral angle between the five‐ and six‐membered chelate rings is 8.21 (8)°. Two molecules are associated into a dimeric unit by intermolecular N—H...O(perchlorate) hydrogen bonds. Additionally, the weakly coordinated perchlorate anions also link adjacent [Cu(ClO4)2(L3m)(CH3OH)] dimers by hydrogen‐bonding interactions, resulting in a two‐dimensional layer in the (100) plane. Further C—H...O hydrogen bonds link the two‐dimensional layers along [100] to generate a three‐dimensional network.  相似文献
