兰州重离子加速器冷却储存环是兰州重离子研究装置的后续工程 .它的建造目的是将重离子束的能量提高到 1 Ge V/u附近 ,同时利用储存环电子冷却技术将束流品质提高一个数量级 ,并提供更多种类的重离子束 ,以开展更广范围和更高精度的物理实验 .兰州重离子加速器冷却储存环是一个双储存环系统 ,由一个主环和一个实验环构成 .对其总体布局、总体参数、主要功能进行了介绍. HIRFL- CSR, a new accelerator project at the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou (HIRFL), is a multipurpose Cooling Storage Ring system which consists of a main ring (CSRm) and an experimental ring (CSRe). Beams from HIRFL will be accumulated and accelerated in CSRm, and then transported to CSRe for internal target experiments. 对兰州重离子加速器冷却储存环加速器主体的主要功能环——主环的束流累积方法和设计进行了研究 .为了使主环对不同种类的重离子束流都具有较强的累积能力 ,在设计时考虑采用电子冷却参与下的两种束流累积方法 :多次多圈注入和射频堆积 .对这两种方法 ,电子冷却的冷却时间都是将束流累积到高流强的关键因素. The beam accumulation methods of HIRFL CSR(Heavy Ion Research Facility of Lanzhou and Cooler Storage Rings) project were studied. Two accumulation methods will be adopted to increase the beam intensity of CSRm. 踢轨系统是一种以快速脉冲方式工作的以高压大电流驱动的特殊二极磁铁系统,用于环形加速器的束流注入和引出。简要介绍了在兰州重离子加速器冷却储存环上采用ARM+DSP+FPGA技术实现踢轨控制时序的方法,时间控制精度达ns量级。ARM主要控制信号的网络通讯,踢轨系统的时序精度控制主要由DSP结合FPGA技术完成。远程时序控制信号均通过光纤传输,同时对踢轨电源的电压给定采用信号隔离器及铁氧体以抑制脉冲干扰。经现场测试,系统可以安全稳定地实现束流踢轨的控制要求。 相似文献

A new generation electron cooler has started operation in the heavy ion synchrotron CSRm which is used to increase the intensity of heavy ions. Transverse cooling of the ion beam after horizontal multi-turn injection allows beam accumulation at the injection energy. After optimization of the accumulation process an intensity increase in a synchrotron pulse by more than one order of magnitude has been achieved. In given accumulation time interval of 10 seconds, 108 particles have been accumulated and accelerated to the final energy. The momentum spread after accumulation and acceleration in the 10-4 range has been demonstrated in six species of ion beams. Primary measurements of accumulation process varying with electron energy, electron beam current, electron beam profile, expansion factor and injection interval have been performed. The lifetimes of ion beams in the presence of electron beams were roughly measured with the help of DCCT signal. 相似文献
