建立了包括非热稳定热力学模型、光学传输模型、能量转换模型及非稳腔模型的综合理论分析平台。理论分析得到以下主要结论:谐振腔长度变化对光束质量及光光效率的影响不大,对于给定的增益,激光最佳效率和光束质量分别对应不同的非稳腔放大率。提出非稳腔腔内相位板补偿介质静态畸变提高光束质量的技术措施,并开展实验验证,光束质量由补偿前的5.48倍衍射极限提升到补偿后的2.46倍,输出功率为12.1kW。  相似文献

将kHz高功率固体激光器增益介质当作厚透镜处理,建立了热透镜效应分析的理论模型,使用矩阵的方法对等效热透镜腔进行分析.对增益介质抽运均匀性进行了改善,通过分析模拟计算结果,设计了混合非稳腔结构,选择了最佳凸面镜曲率半径对热透镜效应进行补偿.试验结果表明,补偿效果明显,kHz高功率全固态激光器的光束发散角优于1.3 mrad.  相似文献

建立了燃烧驱动环柱型高能化学激光器环形增益介质的五种分布模型,使用差分和积分相结合的方法计算了束变换环孔腔在不同增益分布和折射率分布时的模式特征,研究了增益分布和折射率分布对束变换环孔腔输出性能的影响,结果表明束变换环孔腔在不同的增益介质及折射率分布情况下,仍然可以保持良好的输出光束质量,很高的提取效率,在化学激光器增益流存在激波扰动的情况下,输出光场的施特雷尔比仍达到0.8991,同时腔镜上光强分布较为均匀,可以避免镜面因热应力分布不均匀而造成镜面变形和破坏。该腔不但适用于高能化学激光器,也可以用于高能固体激光器,起到克服固体增益介质热畸变与热应力的作用,可获得优良的输出光束质量。  相似文献

用时域有限差分方法(FDTD)模拟了二维增益、非增益随机介质中的光学现象。在非增益介质中,观察到了局域态空间分布及其频率特征。在增益介质中,观察到局域态的放大过程。模拟结果显示非增益介质中的局域态相当于传统激光腔的腔模,随机激光是由局域态谐振产生的。  相似文献

 根据光束在介质中传输强度二阶矩计算公式,推导出部分相干平顶光束在增益或损耗介质中传输的M2因子解析表达式,并将高斯 谢尔模型光束在增益或损耗介质中的传输作为特例统一于一般表达式中。研究结果表明:部分相干平顶光束在增益或损耗介质中传输时的M2因子与光束传输距离、光束相干长度、光束阶数及介质的特性有关。光束在增益或损耗介质中传输的这种特性为应用和控制光束传输提供了理论依据。  相似文献

基于衍射理论和坐标变换,采用数值模拟的方法分析了硬边非稳腔平面波导激光器的光束特性,研究了存在非均匀抽运和增益饱和时,输出激光的光束质量.在端面抽运和边缘抽运时,比较了正支和负支非稳腔的输出光束特性.结果表明:利用优化的离轴硬边非稳腔可以得到近衍射极限的输出.在相同的抽运不均匀性情况下,对于边缘抽运和端面抽运,正支非稳腔的光束质量因子M2分别为3.9和2.3,而相同条件下负支非稳腔的M2因子为1.8和1.7.  相似文献

The stability of laser resonators which contain a medium with a gain profile is investigated. Such resonators are unstable when the resonator mirrors are large (infinite aperture approximation), and the gain is lowest on the optical axis and increases with radial distance. It is shown that such resonators have well-defined regions of stability if the mirrors have gaussian reflectivity tapers.  相似文献

We present a concept for power scaling of high brightness solid state lasers, which introduces so called gain modules containing the laser active media. These modules can be inserted as relay imaging optical systems in any type of laser resonators. The gain modules are optically neutral; hence, power scaling can be provided inserting several modules. Here, we provide the basic functional units of gain modules as well as an exemplary experimental implementation in thin-disk lasers with dynamically stable resonators. On the basis of these studies, more than 1 kW output power with an averaged M 2=2.6 could be demonstrated using two disks. Experiments with four disks are in preparation.  相似文献

The divergence of a long pulse, low gain XeCl excimer laser has been improved using confocal positive branch unstable resonators with variable reflectivity mirrors as outcouplers. With variable reflectivity unstable resonators, nearly diffraction limited beams are obtained. Variable reflectivity resonators lead to high brightness beams (9.1 10 W/(cm sr)). Different reflection profiles were studied with respect to their influence on the beam quality and the energy extraction.  相似文献

We establish a new approach for pump-probe simulations of metallic metamaterials coupled to the gain materials. It is of vital importance to understand the mechanism of the coupling of metamaterials with the gain medium. Using a four-level gain system, we have studied light amplification of arrays of metallic split-ring resonators with a gain layer underneath. We find that the differential transmittance ΔT/T can be negative for split-ring resonators on the top of the gain substrate, which is not expected, and ΔT/T is positive for the gain substrate alone. These simulations agree with pump-probe experiments and can help to design new experiments to compensate for the losses of metamaterials.  相似文献

带有损耗的光波导微环谐振器在实现光速控制时存在输出脉冲能量损耗大、脉冲形状畸变严重等问题。基于带有增益和带有损耗的微环谐振器的传输特性之间的对称性,计算分析了单微环谐振器的透射率、群折射率和群速度色散等特性,分析了增益和损耗对微环谐振器输出特性影响的机制。计算了带有增益的微环谐振器的光速控制行为,并与带有损耗的微环谐振器进行对比。结果显示,带有增益的微环谐振器输出脉冲不分裂且有较大的输出强度。脉冲延迟量和超前量比损耗系统大,可用于光速控制,克服了微环带有损耗时产生的光强损耗和脉冲畸变。  相似文献

Subsonic flows over Helmholtz resonators often cause strong periodic pressure fluctuations inside the resonators over a range of outer flow velocities. The flow-excitation mechanism is known to be governed by both the shedding of discrete vortices within the shear layer over the orifice and the acoustic response of the cavity. This self-sustained oscillation phenomenon is often analyzed by using a feedback loop model where the flow excitation and the acoustic response of the resonator are approximately modelled as a forward gain function and as a backward gain function respectively. In the present work, a similar approach was followed and a new forward gain function was derived based on the concept of “vortex sound” to model the flow excitation. The formulation combined this forward gain function with a backward gain function from previous work, within the framework of the feedback loop analysis. The approximate method allowed the frequency and the relative amplitude of the cavity pressure fluctuations to be predicted for a range of flow velocities. In addition, the extended Nyquist stability criterion was used to estimate the onset and the termination velocities of the first two modes of the shear layer flow oscillations. Experimental data were obtained using a rigid-walled cavity in a low-speed wind tunnel. The results showed that the model predictions were in reasonably good agreement with the experimental data.  相似文献

We theoretically investigate the multistable behavior of a hybrid optomechanical system,in which a charged mechanical resonator is coupled via Coulomb interaction to an optomechanical cavity containing an optical parametric amplifier(OPA).It is shown that the multistable behavior of the mean intracavity photon number can be controlled flexibly by adjusting the nonlinear gain parameter of the OPA,the phase of the field pumping the OPA,the power and frequency of the field driving the cavity,and the Coulomb coupling strength between the two charged mechanical resonators.In particular,the increase of the nonlinear gain parameter can result in a transition from testability to Instability.Moreover,the effect of the Coulomb coupling strength on the bistable behavior of the steady-state positions of the two mechanical resonators is discussed.  相似文献
