When high-power laser beams pass through a volume Bragg grating (VBG), the surface of VBG occurs distortion because of thermal effects, and it results in the decline of the grating’s performance. Considering distortion of the surface induces differences of the index and period, the scalar wave equations for super-Gaussian (SG) laser beams propagating in the reflection VBG have been solved by using finite-different and sparse matrix methods. The changes of the total power reflection coefficient, the beam width, the far-field beam angle and the M2-factor for the laser beams through the reflection VBG with deformation have been analyzed quantitatively. It can be shown that the deformation of the VBG affects evidently on the intensity and phase distributions, the total power reflection coefficient, the beam width, the far-field divergence angle and the M2-factor. The beam width, the far-field divergence angle, and the M2-factor of the output beams increase significantly with the distortions of the grating. The influence of the distortions of the VBG on the power reflection coefficient, the far-field divergence angle and the M2-factor of the output beams are smaller for higher beam orders.  相似文献

考虑热效应导致的体光栅表面形变引起体光栅背景折射率和周期的变化,进而引起体光栅介质介电常数的改变,对体光栅中传输的激光束特性的影响进行了研究。采用有限差分和稀疏矩阵的方法,对激光在有变形的体布拉格光栅中传输的波动方程进行数值迭代求解,并对激光束通过有形变的反射式体布拉格光栅后的功率反射比、光束束腰宽度、远场发散角和质量平方因子的变化进行了定量分析。结果表明,随着体光栅表面形变的增大,体光栅的功率反射比明显减小,输出光束的束宽、远场发散角和质量平方因子明显增大。  相似文献

给出了环状光束在柱坐标系下的一种描述模型,并利用广义衍射积分理论,推导出环状光束经过近轴ABCD光学系统的传输公式.在此基础上,通过数值模拟方法定量分析了环状光束的聚焦光强分布以及焦面处的桶中功率.研究结果表明,环状光束的聚焦特性与光束阶数以及系统菲涅耳数有关;环状光束在实际焦面和几何焦面上的桶中功率均随着遮拦比的增大而降低,而随着系统菲涅耳数的增大而增大.在实际工作中,通过合理地选取系统菲涅耳数和光束遮拦比可以有效地控制环状光束聚焦后的光束质量.  相似文献

利用厚体布拉格光栅的波长选择特性对目标光场进行窄带滤波,是实现高光谱成像的一种新途径。基于严格耦合波理论,设计了体布拉格光栅结构,探索了厚体布拉格光栅的制作工艺,搭建系统光路验证了体布拉格光栅的光谱成像能力。研究结果表明:要获得较窄滤波谱宽,需要提高体布拉格光栅的厚度周期比,并严格控制入射光束发散角;刻写光束质量、震动和偏振会极大地影响制作的光栅条纹面质量,需要从优化写入光的光束均匀性、采用防震措施以及调整两刻写光束偏振一致性等方面优化刻写过程,以提高光栅的衍射效率和质量;验证了体布拉格光栅滤波片进行空间二维面阵成像的能力,宽谱光源透射条件下,通过对入射光束进行准直,滤波谱宽5 nm左右,空间分辨率约4 lines/mm;漫反射条件下,使用体布拉格光栅对进行色散补偿,能够实现较为清晰的成像,空间分辨率约4.9 lines/mm。  相似文献

The propagation model for the spectral beam combining system of five Yb-doped fiber laser beams by the volume Bragg gratings (VBGs) has been built up. Considering the surface distortion by thermal effect, the intensity of an individual beam passing through the spectral beam combining system by the VBGs with deformation has been analyzed numerically and iteratively by using finite-different and sparse matrix methods, and the intensity of combined beam has been studied by the principle of incoherent superposition. Consequently, according to the intensity second-order moments method, the M2-factor of the combined beam has been calculated. The effects of deformation of the VBGs on the intensity, the combining efficiency, the M2-factor and the power in the bucket of the combined beam have been analyzed quantitatively. It can be shown that the effects of the deformation of the VBGs on the intensity distribution of combined beam become more and more obvious with the increasing of the deformation of the VBGs. The results show that the surface distortion of the VBGs due to high-power lasers dramatically degrades both the beam quality of the combined beam and the combining efficiency of the spectral beam combining system.  相似文献

 建立了分别用一个和两个反射式体布拉格光栅实现两路和三路光束合成的物理模型,模型中考虑了体布拉格光栅的吸收,并假设入射光束的光谱具有高斯线型。通过对两路和三路光谱合成的数值分析可知:当光谱宽度为0.1 nm时,两路和三路光谱合成的效率分别为98.76%和97.69%;当光谱宽度为0.3 nm的时候,对应的效率分别为97.34%和95.78%。随着光谱宽度的增加,合成的效率明显降低。当光谱宽度较窄时,实现多路光束较高的合成效率是可行的,这为高能激光的获得提供了一种确实可行的方法。  相似文献

采用功率谱反演法构建湍流相位屏,通过横向平移相位屏的方法模拟大气风速引起的湍流时间变化,进而模拟分析了包括时间进程的激光大气传输特性,从波前相位功率谱密度的角度,定量分析了大气风速引起的激光束在大气湍流中传输时的相位特性变化。在此基础上,采用影响函数模拟变形镜对畸变波前的校正作用,对激光束经大气湍流传输后的自适应校正效果进行了预估,分析了大气风速对校正效果的影响。结果表明,大气风速对边界层湍流中光束相位特性的影响很小,然而,对于自由大气湍流中的传输光束,大气风速越大,波前相位畸变程度越大,畸变波前中高频相位比例也越大;环状光束的校正效果受大气风速的影响比平顶光束更小,并且,随着环状光束阶数的增大,校正效果所受影响逐渐减小;在一定相位畸变范围内,畸变程度越大的环状光束的相位校正效果受大气风速的影响越小。  相似文献

基于Kogelnik的耦合波理论,研究了在色散效应的影响下,超短脉冲激光光束在反射型体全息光栅中衍射的性质.研究给出了衍射光及透射光在频谱域及时间域的振幅及强度分布、光栅的光谱宽度及衍射效率随光栅参量及入射条件的变化.数值研究的结果表明,在光栅记录介质色散效应的影响下,衍射光束的光谱宽度减小,脉冲展宽,衍射效率降低.通过适当的选取光栅参量及入射条件,可以控制衍射和透射光束的频谱和时间强度分布,得到满意的衍射和透射光束的带宽和波形,从而可以将其应用于脉冲整形等技术中.  相似文献

Focusing properties of flattened Gaussian beams (FGBs) passing through an annular lens is studied based on the Collins formula. It is found that the on-axis irradiance distributions of focused FGBs are unsymmetrical with respect to the geometrical focal plane even for large values of Fresnel number Fw associated with the beam, so that there exist focal shifts in general. Detailed numerical results show the dependence of focal shifts on the beam and system parameters. Focal shifts of FGBs by a lens without central obscuration and focal shifts of Gaussian beams by an annular lens can be treated as special cases of the obscure ratio =0 and beam order N=0, respectively. Furthermore, focal shifts of plane waves by an annular lens can also be treated as a special case of N=0 and Fw→∞.  相似文献

The rectangular slabs discharge CO2 laser array is described and the resonator parameters are given. The far field properties of the multi-beams exported from the laser array are studied quantitatively based on the Collins formula and the coordinate transformations. The numerical calculations indicate that the beams will superpose when the distance is very small (about several mm) between each other. The main parameters which influence the beam combination are given. Three methods are used for evaluating the beam quality of the output beam, such as, combination efficiency (CE), M2 factor and power in the bucket (PIB). It is shown that the research results are valuable for the laser industrial processing.  相似文献

提出了一种利用非球面镜对圆环形光束进行非线性整形的方法,该方法利用两个高次非球面镜片小角度放置组成光束变换光路,能够在几乎不损失功率的情况下灵活调整环形光束的遮拦比和强度分布,也能够实现空心光束和实心光束的相互转换,且镜片加工难度低。实验结果表明,利用该方法搭建的光路与理论分析结果吻合较好,能够较好地对光束进行非线性整形。  相似文献

采用步进电机控制光栅角度,对200 m和600 m圆柱透镜准直的体布拉格光栅(VBG)外腔单管C封装半导体激光器进行了系统研究。实验结果表明:激光二极管(LD)驱动电流越大,准直效果越好,VBG的角度调整容差越小;快轴方向的准直效果越好,慢轴方向的光栅调节角度容差越大;对于衍射效率28%、厚1.4 mm的光栅,LD快轴发散角为7.3 mrad时,快轴方向的角度容差不大于3.2 mrad,慢轴方向的角度容差较快轴大约一个数量级。  相似文献

The spatial correlation properties and the spectral intensity distributions of focused Gaussian Schell-model (GSM) array beams are studied in detail. The closed-form expressions for the spectral degree of coherence and the spectral intensity of focused GSM array beams are derived. It is shown that the spectral degree of coherence of focused GSM array beams is the same as that of focused GSM beams in the focal plane. On the other hand, it is found that, in the focal plane the spectral intensity distribution of focused GSM array beams is the fringe pattern when the value of the coherence length is small. However, it becomes one peak located at the center as the value of the coherence length is large enough. In the focal plane, the spectral intensity maximum increases and the width of the normalized spectral intensity distribution decreases as the beam number increases. In general, for GSM array beams, the width of the modulus of the spectral degree of coherence in the focal plane always exceeds that of the normalized spectral intensity distribution, which is different from the behavior of focused GSM beams. In addition, the power in the bucket (PIB) and the beam propagation factor (M2 factor) are also discussed. The main results are explained physically.  相似文献

体光栅光谱组束是获得高功率激光输出的一种有效途径.在有限的可用带宽内,光谱通道间隔影响着组束光束数目以及最终的高功率组束输出.采用耦合波理论,建立了一个两通道高功率光谱组束模型.通过优化体光栅光谱通道间隔,可放宽对组束子束线宽和功率的限制,组束功率可大幅提升而光谱密度并无显著下降.基于此,实验上获得了2.5 kW组束输出,绝对效率超过85%,通道间隔5 nm,光谱密度为0.51kW/nm.组束功率1 kW时,组束输出能保持好的光束质量;组束功率1.5kW时光束质量恶化较明显,通过分析发现,组束光束质量的恶化主要受限于体光栅的色散及高功率下体光栅复杂的热畸变.  相似文献

Two fabrication methods of surface relief electro-optic (EO) gratings in azo-polymer films are described: surface deformation by a continuous wave laser and laser ablation by a pulse laser. In the fabrication process, the periodic intensity modulation of laser beams is formed by an interference fringe or a phase mask. The surface relief EO grating is fabricated by poling the surface relief grating (SRG) after the SRG fabrication process. The linear dependence of an applied voltage in the modulation efficiency of the first-order diffraction beam is observed. The proposed methods are effective for highly-efficient surface relief EO grating fabrication.  相似文献

Starting from the vectorial Rayleigh diffraction integrals, the nonparaxial propagation of vectorial Gaussian beams through an annular aperture is studied. The analytical propagation expressions are derived, which permit us to treat the on-axis field and far field of vectorial nonparaxial Gaussian beams diffracted at the annular aperture, the nonparaxial diffraction at a circular aperture and a circular disc as our special cases in a unified way. The validity of our treatment is confirmed by direct numerical integration of the Rayleigh formulae. It is shown that the f-parameter and annular obscuration affect the beam nonparaxiality in the case of diffraction at the annular aperture.  相似文献

为了提高激光探测系统激光的发射功率,在出射激光为基模的高斯光束的光路设计中,根据高斯光束经过光学系统的变换与传输特性,分析了系统采用Cassegrain望远镜时,其遮拦比以及入射光束束腰半径对光功率透过率的影响。通过具体的数值计算得出,随着遮拦比及入射光束束腰半径的增大,系统光功率透过率将减小,给出了望远镜遮拦比与发射孔径处光斑尺寸之间的最佳匹配关系,最后讨论了离焦误差(安装误差)为0.2mm时对出射光斑尺寸的影响。  相似文献

半导体光纤耦合输出泵浦源是光纤激光器的核心器件,其性能直接制约光纤激光器的输出水平。采用COS封装的高功率LD芯片,通过VBG外腔光谱锁定和精密光束整形变换技术,结合偏振合束与精密聚焦耦合技术将18个LD单元耦合进105 μm/NA0.22光纤,获得不低于260 W功率输出。实验表明,该模块在注入电流18 A时,可获得稳定输出连续功率264 W,对应电光效率52%,输出光谱中心波长975.92 nm,谱宽0.51 nm。该设计为获得高功率、高亮度波长稳定泵浦源提供了一条可行途径,光纤耦合输出模块工程化后可广泛应用在光纤激光器泵浦等领域。  相似文献

利用偏心高斯光束相干叠加方法,建立了柱坐标系下环状平顶光束模型.采用广义强度二阶矩定义,推导出环状光束广义M2因子的解析表达式.利用广义衍射积分理论,给出环状光束经过近轴ABCD光学系统的传输公式,并进一步给出了环状平顶光束修正的菲涅耳数定义.分析了环状平顶光束在自由空间的传输规律.研究结果表明,该模型可统一描述基模高斯光束、环状高斯光束以及环状平顶光束.环状平顶光束的广义M2因子和环状平顶光束的传输特性与其阶数及遮拦比有关.  相似文献

 对激光强度空间均匀分布光束、高斯、超高斯以及平顶高斯光束进行了分析比较,在激光功率与光斑半径相同条件下,计算了各种光束的峰值光强和光束填充因子与光束阶次的关系,给出了光强分布的表达式。并将不同空间分布的光束作为热源,耦合到材料热传导方程中,以数值计算说明了各种光束辐照下,2mm厚30CrMnSiA钢材料靶面不同的热效应。  相似文献
