The compounds [MBr2(py)2] (where M is Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) or Zn(II); py = pyridine) were synthesized and characterized by melting points, elemental analysis, thermal analysis and electronic and IR spectroscopy. The enthalpies of dissolution of the adducts, metal(II) bromides and pyridine in 25% (v/v) 1.2 M aqueous HCl in methanol were measured and by using thermochemical cycles, the following thermochemical parameters for the adducts have been determined: the standard enthalpies for the Lewis acid/base reactions (ΔrHθ), the standard enthalpies of formation (ΔfHθ), the standard enthalpies of decomposition (ΔDHθ), the lattice standard enthalpies (ΔMHθ) and the standard enthalpies of the Lewis acid/base reactions in the gaseous phase (ΔrHθ(g)). The mean bond dissociation enthalpies of the M(II)-nitrogen bonds have been estimated as well as the enthalpies of the adducts formation in the gaseous phase.  相似文献

The integral enthalpies of solution of glycylglycine and diglycylglycine in water–ethanol, water–n-propanol and water–i-propanol mixtures were measured at 298.15 K and alcohol mole fraction concentrations (x2) ranging up to 0.3 by calorimetry. The ΔsolH° and ΔtrH° vs. x2 were found to have extrema. Enthalpic coefficients of pairwise interactions (hxy) between peptide and alcohol molecules were positive and increased in the series ethanol, n-propanol, i-propanol.  相似文献

The standard enthalpies of formation ΔfHo (liq. or cr.) at the temperature T = 298.15 K were measured using combustion calorimetry for benzophenone (A), 1-indanone (B), -tetralone (C), 9-fluorenone (D), anthrone (E) and dibenzosuberone (F). The standard enthalpies of vaporization ΔvHo or sublimation ΔsHo of A-F and 5,7-dihydro-6H-dibenzo[a,c]cyclohepten-6-one (G) were obtained from the temperature function of the vapor pressure measured in a flow system. Enthalpies of fusion ΔmH of solid compounds were measured by DSC. From the enthalpies of formation of the gaseous compounds of A-G the values of their strain enthalpies were derived and structural effects discussed.

The enthalpies of dissolution of the adducts, metal(II) bromides and aniline in methanol, aqueous 1.2 M HCl or 25% (v/v) aqueous 1.2 M HCl in methanol were measured. The following thermochemical parameters for the adducts have been determined by thermochemical cycles: the standard enthalpies for the Lewis acid/base reactions (ΔrH°), the standard enthalpies of formation (ΔfH°), the standard enthalpies of decomposition (ΔDH°), the lattice standard enthalpies (ΔMH°) and the standard enthalpies of the Lewis acid/base reactions in the gaseous phase (ΔrH°(g)). The mean bond dissociation enthalpies of the M(II)-nitrogen bonds () and the enthalpies of formation of the adducts from the ions in the gaseous phase: M2+(g) + Br(g) + an(g) → [MBr2(an)2](g), (ΔfiH°) have been estimated.  相似文献

A calorimetric study was performed for adducts of general formula CdBr2·nL (n=1 and 2; L=ethyleneurea (eu) and propyleneurea (pu)). The standard molar reaction enthalpy in condensed phase: CdBr2(c)+nL(c)=CdBr2·nL(c); ΔrHmθ, were obtained by reaction–solution calorimetry, to give the following values for mono- and bis-adducts: −19.54 and −34.59; −7.77 and −19.05 kJ mol−1 for eu and pu adducts, respectively. Decomposition (ΔDHmθ) and lattice (ΔMHmθ) enthalpies, as well as the mean cadmium---oxygen bond dissociation enthalpy, DCd---O, were calculated for all adducts.  相似文献

The enthalpies of dissolution in water of new ternary complexes of four late trivalent lanthanide ions Ln(Gly)4Im(ClO4)3·nH2O (Ln=Gd, Tb, Dy, Y; Gly: glycine; Im: imidazole and n=1 or 2) were measured by means of a Calvet microcalorimeter. Empirical formulae for the calculation of the enthalpies of dissolution (ΔdissH), relative apparent molar enthalpies (ΔdissH (app)), relative partial molar enthalpies (ΔdissH (partial)) and enthalpies of dilution (ΔdilH1,2) were obtained from the experimental data of the enthalpies of dissolution of these complexes. The plot of ΔdissHmΘ, ΔdissH (app) and ΔdissH (partial) versus the values of the ionic radius of the lanthanide element (r) showed a grouping effect of the lanthanide elements, indicating that the coordinated bond between the lanthanide ions and the ligands has some covalent character. The unknown value of the standard enthalpy of dissolution for the similar complex: Ho(Gly)4Im(ClO4)3·H2O was estimated according to the plot of ΔdissHmΘ versus r.  相似文献

The standard (p° = 0.1 MPa) molar enthalpies of formation of crystalline 2,3,5-trimethylpyrazine-1,4-dioxide and 2,3,5,6-tetramethylpyrazine-1,4-dioxide were measured, at T = 298.15 K, by static bomb calorimetry and the standard molar enthalpies of sublimation, at T = 298.15 K, were obtained from Calvet microcalorimetric measurements. These values were used to derive the respective standard molar enthalpies of formation in gaseous phase. The mean N–O bond dissociation enthalpy has been calculated for both compounds.  相似文献

The standard molar enthalpies of formation (ΔfHm0(s)/kJmol−1) for 2,3:6,7-dibenzocycloocta-2,6-dien-1-one and 2,3:7,8-dibenzocycloocta-2,7-dien-1-one [6H-11,12-dihydro-dibenzo[a,e]cycloocten-5-one (ketone 1) and 10H-11,12-dihydrodibenzo[a,d]-cycloocten-5-one (ketone 2), respectively] were derived from enthalpies of combustion, measured by means of a microbomb calorimeter. The fusion and vaporization enthalpies of these compounds were obtained from DSC and correlation gas chromatography measurements. The standard molar enthalpies of formation in the gas phase were calculated by combining the condensed phase standard molar enthalpies of formation with the fusion and vaporization enthalpies adjusted to 298.15 K. Values for ΔfHm0(g) of (−39.9±5.5) and (−14.8±5.3) kJ mol−1 were obtained for 2,3:6,7-dibenzocycloocta-2,6-dien-1-one and 2,3:7,8-dibenzocycloocta-2,7-dien-1-one, respectively. Quantum chemical calculations are reported for the compounds investigated experimentally and an additional four isomers. Isomerization enthalpies are derived from computed energies. The enthalpies of formation are also calculated by group additivity, compared with the experimental values and then correlated with the structure of the molecules investigated. The X-ray analysis of ketone 1 is also reported.  相似文献

The standard (p0 = 0.1 MPa) molar enthalpies of formation of several crystalline lithium alkoxides, ΔHf0(LiOR, cr), have been determined by reaction-solution calorimetry at 298.15 K. A linear correlation has been found between ΔHf0(LiOR, cr) and ΔHf0(ROH, 1) for R = n-alkyl, enabling the prediction of data for other lithium alkoxides. The deviations from the linear correlation observed for R =iPr and tBu were tentatively explained in terms of the electronegativities of the OR groups. The experimental data were also used to derive the lattice energies and the thermochemical radii of the anions OR. The results were compared with those derived from the enthalpies of formation of the analogous sodium alkoxides, reported in a previous publication.  相似文献

In the present work temperature dependence of heat capacity of cesium tantalum tungsten oxide has been measured first in the range from 7 to 350 K and then between 330 and 630 K, respectively, by precision adiabatic vacuum and dynamic calorimetry. The experimental data were used to calculate standard thermodynamic functions, namely the heat capacity Cp° (T), enthalpy H°(T) − H°(0), entropy S°(T) − S°(0) and Gibbs function G°(T) − H°(0), for the range from T → 0 to 630 K. The structure of CsTaWO6 is refined by the Rietveld method: space group F d3m, Z = 8, a = 10.3793(2) Å, V = 1118.14(4) Å3. The high-temperature X-ray diffraction was used for the determination of temperature of phase transition and coefficient of thermal expansion.  相似文献

Low-temperature heat capacities of the complex Zn(Thr)SO4·H2O (s) have been precisely measured with a small sample adiabatic calorimeter over the temperature range from 78 to 373 K. The initial dehydration temperature of the complex (Td=325.50 K) has been obtained by analysis of the heat-capacity curve. The experimental values of molar heat capacities have been fitted to a polynomial equation by least square method. The standard molar enthalpy of formation of the complex has been determined from the enthalpies of dissolution (ΔdHmΘ) of [ZnSO4·7H2O (s) +Thr (s)] and Zn(Thr)SO4·H2O (s) in 100 ml of 2 mol dm−3 HCl solvent as: ΔfHm,Zn(Thr)SO4·H2OΘ=−2111.7±3.4 kJ mol−1. These experiments were made by using an isoperibol solution calorimeter at 298.15 K.  相似文献

The surface tension isotherms for pure oligooxypropylenated piperidine and morpholine at the aqueous solution—air interface were determined and interpreted. The surface excess concentration, Γ, the surface area per molecule, A, and the standard free energy of adsorption, ΔG°, were calculated according to a new empirical adsorption equation. The standard free energy contribution for the oxypropylene group (PO) in morpholine derivatives,ΔG° (PO) = −3.34 kJ mol−1, is substantially lower than that for the PO group located in the piperidine derivatives, i.e. ΔG° (PO)= −3.12 kJ mol−1.  相似文献

We have made calorimetric measurements of the enthalpy of dissolving solid ferrous chloride in water at 298 K and have derived ΔH° = −19.82 kcal mol−1 for the standard enthalpy of this process. This ΔH° is related by way of some thermodynamic calculations to other properties of iron.  相似文献

Ab initio methods have been used to study the lowest-lying electronic states of the SiCN radical, which has two stable linear isomers in its electronic ground state, SiCN and SiNC. Vertical excitation energies and oscillator strengths have been computed for a number of states lying up to 8 eV. The geometries of the lowest-lying doublet and quartet states have been determined. The lowest-lying excited doublet state of SiNC (12Σ+, 4.0 eV) arises from a HOMO–LUMO excitation (3π → 10σ), although the 12Δ state (9σ → 3π) is very close in energy. In the case of the SiCN isomer the lowest excited state is 12Δ, which arises from an excitation from the highest occupied σ orbital into the HOMO (9σ → 3π) and lies 3.6 eV above the ground state. SiCN should present very strong absorptions at 4.9 and 6.1 eV whereas SiNC should have relatively strong absorptions in the region of 5.7–5.9 eV. The smallest adiabatic energy gaps with respect to the ground state of SiNC and SiCN are very close (about 2.8 eV) and the excited state is the same 12A′, which has angular equilibrium geometries for both isomers. We have determined accurate values for enthalpies of formation of the two linear doublet forms and .  相似文献

The standard (p0 = 0.1 MPa) molar enthalpies of formation, at T = 298.15 K, in the gaseous phase of two Schiff bases, N,N′-bis(salicylaldehydo)ethylenediimine and N,N′-bis(salicylaldehydo)tetramethylenediimine, were determined from their enthalpies of combustion and sublimation, obtained by static bomb calorimetry in oxygen and by the Knudsen effusion technique, respectively. The enthalpies of fusion of both compounds have been determined by differential scanning calorimetry.  相似文献

The heat capacity of copper hydride has been measured in the temperature range 2–60 and 60–250 K using two adiabatic calorimeters. Special procedure for the purification of CuH has been applied and a careful analysis of sample contamination has been performed. The experimental results have been extrapolated up to 300 K due to instability of the copper hydride at room temperature. From the temperature dependence of heat capacity the values of entropy S°(T), thermal part of enthalpy H°(T)−H°(0) and Gibbs function [−(G°(T)−H°(0))] have been calculated assuming S°(0)=0. The standard absolute entropy, standard entropy of formation from the elements and enthalpy of decomposition of copper hydride from the elements have been calculated and found to be 130.8 J K−1 mol−1 (H2), −85.1 J K−1 mol−1 (H2), −55.1 kJ mol−1 (H2), respectively. These new results gave the possibility of discussion on thermodynamic properties of copper hydride. Debye temperature has been for the first time determined experimentally.  相似文献

The effect of temperature on the extraction of FE(III) by dehydrated castor oil fatty acids (DCOFA) has been studied in the temperature range 283–313 K at 1.0M constant ionic strength (NaClO4). The temperature dependence of the conditional constant of extraction is given in the form: ln Kext=31.95 − 12800(1/T). Also, it was found that the average thermodynamic parameters, ΔH°ext, ΔG°ext, and ΔS°ext are 106.5 kJ/mole, 27.3 kJ/mole, and 0.3 kJ. mole−1.K−1, respectively. The extracted species in toluene solution were identified as FeR3.HR and Fe(OH)R2, where HR represents the fatty acid used.  相似文献
