Halogenation of 9-dimethylsulfonium-7,8-dicarba-nido-undecaborane [9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H11] with N-chlorosuccinimide, bromine and iodine gave the expected corresponding halogen derivatives [9-SMe2-11-X-7,8-C2B9H10], where X = Cl (1), Br (2), I (3). In the bromination reaction, [9-SMe2-6-Br-7,8-C2B9H10] (4) was isolated as a minor product being the first example of substitution at a “lower” belt of the 7,8-dicarba-nido-undecaborate cage. The use of excess of bromine resulted in dibromo derivative [9-SMe2-6,11-Br2-7,8-C2B9H9] (5). Structures of the compounds prepared were determined using 11B-11B COSY NMR spectroscopy (for all halogen derivatives) and single crystal X-ray diffraction (for compounds 2, 3, and 5).  相似文献

The reaction of the [(η-9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10)IrBr2]2 complex with Tl[Tl(η-7,8-C2B9H11)] afforded the iridacarborane compound (η-9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10)Ir(η-7,8-C2B9H11). The cationic complex [Cp*Ir(η-9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10)]+PF6 (5 · PF6, Cp* is pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) was synthesized by the reaction of [Cp*IrCl2]2 with Na[9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10]. The structures of (η-9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10)Ir(η-cod) (cod is 1,5-cyclooctadiene) and 5 · PF6 were established by X-ray diffraction. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Reaction of cis-Pt(PMe2Ph)2Cl2 with Tl2[7-Ph-7,8-nido-C2B9H10] affords 1-Ph-3,3-(PMe2Ph)2-3,1,2-PtC2B9H10, mild thermolysis (55°C) of which yields 1-Ph-3,3-(PMe2Ph)2-3,1,11-PtC2B9H10 and 11-Ph-3,3-(PMe2Ph)2-3,1,11-PtC2B9H10. Both of the latter compounds are produced by the microwave irradiation of a mixture of cis-Pt(PMe2Ph)2Cl2 and [HNMe3][7-Ph-7,8-nido-C2B9H11]. When cis-Pt(PMe2Ph)2Cl2 is allowed to react with Tl2[7,8-Ph2-7,8-nido-C2B9H9] at room temperature the only isolable species is 1,11-Ph2-3,3-(PMe2Ph)2-3,1,11-PtC2B9H9. The generation of rearranged products with 3,1,11-PtC2B9 architectures is inconsistent with a diamond-square-diamond mechanism for the isomerisation of icosahedral heteroboranes.  相似文献

Abstract

Structure of 3-ammonio derivative of nido-carborane 3-NH3-7,8-C2B9H11 was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The isomeric 10-ammonio derivative 10-NH3-7,8-C2B9H11 was prepared by the treatment of the corresponding ethylnitrilium derivative 10-EtC≡N-7,8-C2B9H11 with hydrazine hydrate in acetonitrile.  相似文献

A tetranuclear gold cluster has been synthesized by the reaction of [Au(PPh3)NO3] with the closo carborane diphosphine 1,2-(PPh2)2-1,2-C2B10H10 in THF, and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, 1H and 13C?NMR spectroscopy and X-ray structure determination. The cluster crystallizes in the triclinic Pī, a?=?15.118(8)?Å, b?=?16.057(9)?Å, c?=?24.284(13)?Å, α?=?80.822(9)°, β?=?79.624(8)°, γ?=?81.938(8)°, Z?=?2, R 1?=?0.0626, wR 2?=?0.1894. A single crystal structure determination showed that four gold atoms form a tetrahedral framework. Among these four gold atoms, two were chelated by two nido carborane diphosphine [7,8-(PPh2)2-7,8-C2B9H10]? anions coming from the degradation of the initial closo ligand 1,2-(PPh2)2-1,2-C2B10H10, while the other two were ligated to two PPh3 groups. The luminescence of this cluster was also investigated in dichloromethane solution at room temperature.  相似文献

Treatment of potassium 7,8-dimethyldecahydro-7,8-dicarba-nido-undecaborate with N-chloro-and N-bromosuccinimides in acetonitrile or with an excess of iodine in methanol gave the corresponding dihalo derivatives [9,11-X2-7,8-Me2-7,8-C2B9H8] (X = Cl, Br, or I), which were isolated as alkylammonium salts. The compound (Me3NH)+[9,11-I2-7-Me-7,8-C2B9H9] was synthesized by a reaction of K+[7-Me-7,8-C2B9H11] with an excess of iodine in methanol. The compounds obtained were characterized by IR and NMR (1H, 11B, and 11B-11B COSY) spectroscopy. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. The reaction of 3,4,5,7,8,9,10,11,12-I(9)-1,2-closo-C(2)B(10)H(3) with KOH/EtOH gave a mixture of the boron periodinated [1,2,3,4,5,6,9,10,11-I(9)-7,8-nido-C(2)B(9)H(2)](2-) and the highly iodinated on boron [1,2,4,5,6,9,10,11-I(8)-7,8-nido-C(2)B(9)H(3)](2-) in approximately 50% each. Moreover, 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12-I(10)-1,2-closo-C(2)B(10)H(2) was reacted with KOH/EtOH to purely produce [1,2,3,4,5,6,9,10,11-I(9)-7,8-nido-C(2)B(9)H(2)](2-). It is the first dinegative dicarbollide stable in water or protic solvent reported in literature.  相似文献

Halochromic Molecules. Substituted 6,11-Dihydrospiro[[1]benzopyrano[4,3-b]indol-6,9′-9′H-xanthene]-2′,6′-diamines and Their Aza Analogues: New Chromogenes for Black Images . We have synthesized a series of substituted 6,11-dihydrospiro[[1]benzopyrano[4,3-b]indo1-6,9′-9′H-xanthene]-2′,6′-diamines and their respective aza analogues. These compounds develop a black colour in acidic media. The assumed structures of the analytically pure starting and final products are consistant with the fragmentations in the MS and are also supported by FT 1H-NMR. The UV/VIS spectra in buffered MeOH/H2O solutions were measured. From the ?pH* curves, we determined the pK* values. The title compounds can be used in so-called pressure-sensitive copying systems.  相似文献

The character of electron density distribution in the C2B3 open face, the influence of the SMe2 group on the character of electron density distribution, and the nature of the sodium—anion interaction were studied based on the data of high-resolution X-ray diffraction study of crystals of the sodium salt of charge compensated nido-carborane [9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10] and quantum-chemical calculations for the Na...H—B bonded dimer, the isolated [9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10] anion, and the [7,8-C2B9H10]2− dianion. The character of electron density distribution in the C2B3 open face is analogous to the electron distribution in the cyclopentadienyl ligand. In nido-carborane, a substantial charge redistribution takes place compared to that observed in the closo analogs. The topological analysis of the electron density distribution function demonstrated that the cation—anion interactions are determined predominantly by Na...H—B contacts. The total energy of these contacts in the { [9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10]Na(thf)2}2 dimer estimated from X-ray diffraction data is 11.74 kcal mol−1. The photochemical reaction of [(η5-C6H7)Fe(η-C6H6)]+ (1) with the [(η-9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10)] anion followed by the treatment of the resulting ferracarborane (η-9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10)Fe(η5-C6H7) (2) with hydrochloric acid afforded the benzene complex [(η-9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10)Fe(η-C6H6)]+ (3). The reaction of cation 3 with ButNC produced the isonitrile complex [(η-9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10)Fe(tBuNC)3]+ (4). The structure of the complex [4]PF6 was established by X-ray diffraction. A reaction of complexes CoCl2(dppe) (dppe is the 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane) or CoCl2(dppp) (dppp is the 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane) with [K][7,8-nido-C2B9H12] upon reflux in benzene led to the mixed ligand closo-cobaltacarboranes [3,3-(Ph2P(CH2) n PPh2)-3-Cl-closo-3,1,2-CoIIIC2B9H11] (n = 2 and 3, respectively) in moderate yields (34 and 16%). The structure of the 18-electron complexes in solution and the solid state was studied by NMR and IR spectroscopy, the structure in the case of the closo-complex with dppe-ligand was confirmed by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Lipase Pseudomonas cepacia catalyzed acylation of (±)-2-(hydroxymethyl)-7,8-dihydro-1H-indeno[5,4-b] furan-6(2H)-one using vinyl acetate as the acyl donor in acetone gave (−)-(R)-2-acetoxy-2-(methyl)-7,8-dihydro-1H-indeno[5,4-b] furan-6(2H)-one and (+)-(S)-2-(hydroxymethyl)-7,8-dihydro-1H-indeno[5,4-b] furan-6(2H)-one with high enantiomeric excess. Enantiomerically pure 2-(hydroxymethyl)-7,8-dihydro-1H-indeno[5,4-b] furan-6(2H)-one are useful intermediates for the preparation of Ramelteon, an FDA approved drug for the treatment of insomnia.  相似文献

Nitrosation of 3-alkylamino-5-arylamino-6H-anthra[1,9-cd]isoxazol-6-ones with sodium nitrite in acetic acid leads to the formation of the corresponding unstable N-nitroso derivatives which are converted into 3-alkyl-5-arylamino-6,11-dihydro-3H-anthra[1,2-d][1,2,3]triazole-6,11-dione 2-oxides on heating.  相似文献

The reduction behavior of the isoelectronic complexes [CpMIII6-C6R6)]2+ (M=Rh, Ir; R=H, Me) and [(η-9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10)MIII6-C6R6)]2+ (M=Rh, Ir; C6R6 = C6H6, C6H5OMe, C6H3Me3) has been studied by cyclic voltammetry and controlled potential coulometry in acetonitrile and propylene carbonate at 253 and 298 K, respectively. The extent of chemical reversibility of the pertinent sequences Rh(III)/Rh(II)/Rh(I) and Ir(III)/Ir(I) is highly dependent on both the nature of the solvent and the intrinsic electronic properties of the arene substituents. The arene η6 coordination makes the derivatives in their lower oxidation states notably short lived, even if, in some cases, the use of propylene carbonate improves their stability or causes the increase in their lifetimes before changing the arene coordination from η6 to η4. Cations [(η-9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10)M(η6-C6R6)]2+ were obtained by the bromide abstraction from [(η-9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10)MBr2]2 with Ag+ in the presence of benzene and its derivatives. The structure of [(η-9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10)Ir(η6-C6H5OMe)](BF4)2 was determined by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

A number of 3-R-9-(2-oxopropyl)-1,5-dinitro-7,8-benzo-3-azsbicyclo[3.3.1]non-7-en-6-ones was synthesized by Mannich reaction involving Yanovsky adduct of 2,4-dinitronaphthol. It was established by molecular spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis that the piperidine ring in these compounds was in the chairconformation with a diequatorial position of the substituent attached to the heteroatom and 2-oxo-propyl group, and the cyclohexenone fragment was in sofaform. By an example of 3-methyl-9-(2-oxopropyl)-1,5-dinitro-7,8-benzo-3-azsbicyclo[3.3.1]non-7-en-6-one the dissociative ionization of bicyclononanes under the electron impact was investigated.  相似文献

Substitution of the dicarbaundecaborate anion nido‐7,8‐C2B9H12? ( 1 ) by precise hydride abstraction followed by nucleophilic attack usually leads to symmetric products 10‐R‐nido‐7,8‐C2B9H11. However, thioacetamide (MeC(S)NH2) as nucleophile and acetone/AlCl3 as hydride abstractor gave asymmetric 9‐[MeC(NHiPr)S]‐nido‐7,8‐C2B9H11 ( 2 ), whereas N,N‐dimethylthioacetamide (MeC(S)NMe2) gave the expected symmetric 10‐[MeC(NMe2)S]‐nido‐7,8‐C2B9H11 ( 4 ). For the formation of 2 , acetone and thioacetamide are assumed to give the intermediate MeC(S)N(CMe2) ( 3 ), which then attacks 1 with formation of 2 . Similarly, reaction of acetyliminium chloride [MeC(O)NH(CPh2)]Cl ( 5 ) with 1 in THF gave a mixture of 9‐ and 10‐substituted [MeC(NHCHPh2)O]‐nido‐7,8‐C2B9H11 ( 6 and 7 , respectively). These reactions are the first examples in which compounds (here heterodienes) that unite the functionalities of both hydride acceptor and nucleophilic site react with 1 in a bimolecular fashion. Furthermore, the analogous reaction of 1 and 5 (in an equilibrium mixture with acetyl chloride and benzophenone imine) in MeCN afforded 10‐[MeC(NCPh2)NH]‐nido‐7,8‐C2B9H11 ( 8 ) and MeC(O)NHCHPh2 ( 9 ).  相似文献

Iodination, bromination, and thiocyanation reactions of the potassium salt K+[7,8-C2B9H12]? are investigated during diaphragm electrolysis. The B(9)-monosubstituted derivatives [9-X-7,8-C2B9H11]? (X = I, SCN) and disubstituted derivatives [9,11-X2-7,8-C2B9H10]? (X = Br, I) are obtained as alkylammonium salts. The composition and structure of these substances are confirmed by data from elemental analysis and IR and NMR (1H and 11B) spectroscopy.  相似文献
