An experimental study of the formation of mixed van der Waals oxygen-isoprene complexes, generated in an expanding supersonic helium-oxygen-isoprene jet at various stagnation pressures and at diverse oxygen and isoprene concentrations, has been performed. To measure the composition and distribution of the partial densities of the individual components, molecular beam mass spectrometry was adapted to pulsed modes of gas source operation. The particularities of applying mass spectrometry to studying clustered isoprene streams in a pulsed mode have been discussed. The composition of small clusters generated in a free supersonic jet has been checked for dependencies upon the initial mixture composition and stagnation pressure. The mechanism of nucleation has been identified for different partial concentrations of impurities in the helium stream. It has been shown that, even at a 0.3% concentration of isoprene in the mixture, nucleation starts with the formation of hydrocarbon complexes. The specific features of the dissociative ionization of van der Waals complexes, consisting of pure isoprene and mixed complexes, have been discussed. The conditions needed for the formation of binary oxygen-isoprene van der Waals complexes have been identified.  相似文献

在激光与物质相互作用的实验中,气体靶通常由超声速喷嘴在高背压下向真空中高速喷射气体产生。激光与气体靶相互作用时确定打靶条件对整个实验有着十分重要的意义。为了得到不同实验条件下气体靶密度的分布特性,采用马赫-曾德尔干涉法测量了气体靶密度分布,获取了干涉图样。使用基于傅里叶变换的条纹处理方法测得的干涉图样,得到不同实验条件下气体分子密度的全空间分布。实验表明:用M-Z干涉仪测量超声速气体喷嘴产生的气体靶密度分布十分有效。基于傅里叶变换的条纹处理方法具有精度高、实时性好的优点,为打靶时气体靶密度的实时测量提供了可能。  相似文献

The present paper reports on experimental investigations conducted by means of a laser anemometer in order to analyze a supersonic free jet escaping from a non-divergent nozzle into the free atmosphere. As the free jet is generated in a shock tube, thereby presenting a blow time of the order of 1 ms only, the laser anemometer also proved to be very suitable as a measuring probe to study transient phenomena involving high flow velocities. The experimental results achieved are compared to theoretical predictions.  相似文献

氧碘化学激光器(COIL)的混合喷管内发生的是气体动力学、化学反应动力学以及光学等相互耦合的复杂过程,每个过程都对COIL性能有着至关重要的影响。利用3维计算流体动力学技术,通过求解层流Navier-Stokes方程与组分输运方程对简化的氧碘化学激光RADICL模型进行数值模拟与分析,结合10种组分和21个基元反应的化学反应模型,对COIL超声速段射流情况下喷管内的流动及混合情况,尤其是产率、分解率、泵浦率和小信号增益系数的细致3维空间分布进行研究。结果证明超声速段进行射流有利于提高COIL的性能表现,可以充分利用高增益区,光腔位置增益可以达到0.012 cm-1,与亚声速段射流相比总压恢复性能提高,混合有待加强。  相似文献

基于可压缩的全Naiver-Stokes方程,利用PHOENICS程序对由会聚 辐射阳极形状等离子体炬产生的超声速等离子体射流进行了数值模拟.考虑了等离子体的黏性、可压缩性以及变物性对等离子体射流特性影响.研究了超声速等离子体射流的流场结构特性以及不同环境压力对等离子体射流产生激波结构的影响.结果表明,超声速等离子体射流在喷口附近形成的周期性激波结构是其和环境气体相互作用的结果. 关键词: 等离子体炬 超声速等离子体射流 PHOENICS  相似文献

提出了一种结构紧凑的长脉冲发生器,该发生器的螺旋型Blumlein线由内导体(含磁体)、螺旋型中筒和外导体(含磁体)构成,该结构实现了螺旋型Blumlein线和Tesla变压器的一体化。通过对螺旋型Blumlein线的波传输过程分析,给出了慢波系数、开关闭合电流、用于描述形成线闭合开关处界面上波行为的变量因子等参数的计算公式。采用PIC软件对螺旋型Blumlein线的部分波传输过程进行数值模拟,慢波系数等参数的模拟值与计算值基本相符。进行了恒阻抗负载下螺旋型Blumlein线的原理性实验,实验得到的负载波形与编程计算得到的波形基本吻合。  相似文献

In laser cutting, the flow structure around a substrate significantly affects the material removal rate, the cutting depth and the surface finish of the cutting front. In this paper, the phenomena of shock wave that is induced by a supersonic impinging jet emanating from a straight nozzle onto a substrate with varying inclined angles has been simulated numerically and visualized experimentally. The numerical model offers fairly good prediction in comparison with the experiments. It transpires that the angle of inclination has a significant and dramatic effect on the flow structure and that a large wall pressure with a steep gradient can be built up when the angle is large.  相似文献

An experimental investigation into the sound-producing characteristics of moderately and highly underexpanded supersonic impinging jets exhausting from a round convergent nozzle is presented. The production of large plate tones by impingement on a square plate with a side dimension equal to 12 nozzle exit diameters is studied using random and phase-locked shadowgraph photography. Discrete frequency sound is produced in the near-wall region of the jet when a Mach disk occurs upstream of the standoff shock wave. Tones cease when the plate distance is approximately 2.2 free-jet cell lengths and the first and second shock waves are located in the free-jet positions. The production of impulsive sound appears to be associated with the collapse of the standoff shock wave during a portion of the oscillation cycle. Results from unsteady plate-pressure measurements indicate that plane-wave motion occurs in the impingement region and a secondary pressure maximum is observed on the plate adjacent to the flow region where sound appears to originate.  相似文献

The method of molecular dynamics (the Bird system) has been used to mathematically model a planar, strongly underexpanded supersonic jet that encounters a hypersonic flow of rarefied gas. Particular attention is paid to the structure and parameters of the shock layer close to the plane of symmetry. The results of calculations are presented for currents of a monatomic gas, simulating argon, with a Mach number of the external flow of M=5.48, a Mach number at the nozzle edge of Ma=1, a ratio of the density at the nozzle edge to the density of the unperturbed flow equal to 130, and various stagnation temperatures of the external flow and of the jet. The evolution of the structure and the parameters of the shock layer as the Knudsen number Kn varies from 0.02 to 0.35 is considered. The results are compared with the data calculated for the shock layer when argon flows around thermally insulated cylinders. The main features and regularities of the relaxation of the translational degrees of freedom of the gas for external and jet flows are considered. By analyzing the formation mechanism of a supersonic gas jet, a set of equations which describe the atomic beam properties were established. The influence of initial temperature, initial pressure, background gas pressure and pumping speed was discussed in detail. A simulation program was developed based on the equations, and the results under different initial conditions were obtained. The results are in good agreement with the experimental data, and suggest that, in order to get much smaller transverse momentum in collision experiments, it is necessary to lower the initial temperature and the initial pressure of the supersonic gas jet, together with increasing the pumping speed. These results are very instructive for construction of a new generation of cold supersonic gas jets.  相似文献

The characteristics of supersonic impinging jets are investigated using Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV). The purpose of the experiments is to understand the jet induced forces on STOVL aircraft while hovering close to the ground. For this purpose, a large diameter circular plate was attached at the nozzle exit. The oscillations of the impinging jet generated due to a feedback loop are captured in the PIV images. The instantaneous velocity field measurements are used to describe flow characteristics of the impinging jet. The important flow features such as oscillating shock waves, slipstream shear layers and large scale structures are captured clearly by the PIV. The presence of large scale structures in the impinging jet induced high entrainment velocity in the near hydrodynamic field, which resulted in lift plate suction pressures. A passive control device is used to interfere with the acoustic waves travelling in the ambient medium to suppress the feedback loop. As a consequence, the large scale vortical structures disappeared completely leading to a corresponding reduction in the entrainment.  相似文献

The effect of acoustic feed back on global flow response is illustrated through an example of a rectangular screeching jet operating at a nominal Mach number of 1.69. Using a stereoscopic Particle Image Velocimetry, the detailed flow characteristics within a screeching cycle are obtained with fidelity. To resolve the “bias” errors inherent with standard PIV image processing technique, a novel mesh-free and high spatial resolution scheme is implemented to yield accurate velocity measurements in a complex three-dimensional supersonic flow. The axis-switching phenomenon that arises due to unusual mixing enhancement in the minor axis plane of a rectangular jet is vividly displayed. Strong streamwise vortex structure in the jet shear layers, enhanced by the inherent instability of the shear layer, is reported.  相似文献

The β-binaphthylene oxide molecules studied under supersonic cooling conditions have a number of specific properties due to their nonplanarity. Low-frequency vibrations of the molecules in the excited S1 state are higher than the frequencies for the S0 state, and conversely the high-frequency vibrations have lower frequencies. The S0-S2 fluorescence excitation spectrum is structureless. The absence of a Q branch in the rotational contour of the line for the purely electronic transition indicates that it is substantially broadened and shifted toward shorter wavelengths as a result of rotational perturbations of the helical structure of the molecule. Multiplet lines in the spectra of β-binaphthylene oxide complexes with argon, krypton, and xenon correspond to different isomeric complexes. Their bond energies are below those observed previously for planar polycyclic molecules such as perilene, fluorene, and carbazole. The rotational temperature of OCS in the v2 = 1 excited state and the vibrational temperature in supersonic free jets seeded in Ar were measured by a diode-laser spectrometer. From the hot band associated to the ν1 band, the rotational temperature in the v2 = 1 state was obtained to be 5.7 K and the vibrational temperature obtained for this state was 213 K.  相似文献

The fluorescence and fluorescence excitation spectra of 2-methylnaphthalene molecules cooled in a supersonic jet are measured. The frequencies of vibrations in the S 0 and S 1 states, as well as the relative intensities of electronic-vibrational transitions in the fluorescence and fluorescence excitation spectra, are calculated with the semiempirical MO/M8ST method. The intensities are calculated in the Franck-Condon approximation taking into account the mixing of all the 38 totally symmetric normal vibrations. Based on the calculations, most observed spectral lines are assigned. It is shown that the calculation accuracy of the method is high enough for it to be used to interpret the spectra of molecules of aromatic compounds such as substituted naphthalenes. It is found that the main contribution to the fluorescence spectrum is made by four optically active vibrations.  相似文献

Two-color photoionization of nickelocene molecules cooled in a supersonic jet is performed using a tunable nanosecond pulsed laser. The first stage of the multiphoton excitation is the transition from the highest occupied molecular orbital of nickelocene to the lowest Rydberg level. Conditions are found under which molecular ions (η 5-C5H5)2Ni+ are the only product of the multiphoton ionization in the one-color experiment. Irradiation of an excited molecule by an intense pulse of another laser increases significantly the yield of molecular ions. The dependence of the yield of (η5-C5H5)2Ni+ ions on the frequency of the second laser makes it possible to determine the adiabatic ionization potential of nickelocene as 6.138±0.012eV.  相似文献
